At the time, NJPW ignored that this change, and next week's return to Liger, had ever happened. Wonder why?)

• David Flair/Crowbar (w/ Daffney) beat Buff Bagwell/Vampiro in the semi-finals of the Lethal Lottery tournament (Vampiro replaced Kanyon after Bam Bam Bigelow attacked him. This match was weird. Terry Funk and Arn Anderson came out to argue with Vampiro and Buff betrayed his partner)
