No better way to kick off the year than our beach bum getting a showcase against this little dweeb for 6 minutes. Gorilla says Don put 4 men in the hospital last year which was more than anyone else! What a guy. Lanny has some fine arm work and does ok for a time, but Don eventually cuts him off and kicks his butt in fun fashion focusing on the ribs with gross strikes and wears him down. Don counters the moonsault with his knees and hits the Powerslam to win.

Greg Valentine vs Dick Slater
HOLY SHIT. Wonderful battle for control to start with both men refusing to back down and trying to muscle their way into it. Dick moves ahead, so Hammer goes to the floor to to stall. He gets back in and it turns into a chop battle, and Dicky fires back with awesome strikes of his own. Hammer shoulderblocks him to the floor in our first nasty bump of the year, and moves into control Great slow beating as always, and Dick'y selling rocks. His fighting from underneath rocks and he fires back with some super stiff shots while being all woozy and punch drunk as he does it. Hammer's selling rocks in return, and it's just two beat up drunks kicking the shit out of each other as it should be. Hammer sinks in a super tight sleeper like he's Samoa Joe in terms of how tight and gross it is, and Dick's face turns purple throughout. Hammer locks in the figure four and tortures him, and Dicky's attempts to get out are amazing as hell. He finally gets out and now both men's knees are trashed. Hammer grabs him by the tights and rams his face into the buckles and and pins him with Dicky's feet on the ropes, but ref misses it and Hammer wins.

Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs Bruno Sammartino
Here we go. Bruno is all fired up and mad about Randy's actions over the last few weeks, so Randy puts on another all time bumping performance as he gets the holy hell beaten out of him and hurls himself around the place for the old man. Bruno looks fantastic and really lays in his shots to Savage, so it's more than a one man band as i thought it might be. Bruno decks him over and over with punches, and Randy uses Liz as a shield and then attacks Bruno from behind when he backs down. Randy drives his knee into his back and kicks the crap out of him in his first great control seg of the year. perfect mix of amazing high level offence, and pure dirtbag antics. Bruno's comeback is very good as he's a wounded old man hitting hard and doing what he can to fight back. Randy's selling rocks as he double over in pain and makes him look killer. They fight on the outside and Savage hits Bruno with a chair right in front of Davis, and slides back in as the bell rings.

Bruno gets back and attacks Savage for a while until refs and the babyfaces drag him off. Randy is carried out by the cops as Bruno is held back in the ring. The announcer states that Randy won via countout.

Tonight; Hogan vs Wonderful in a steel cage match, Vince says this is the first time a cage match has been on network TV, which feels like maybe a lie, but awesome if it's true.


In the back, Mean Gene is with Heenan and Wonderful. Geno tries to talk about Wonderful turning his back on Hogan, but Bobby says that's a lie as Wonderful won that match and that's all there is to say. Hogan will be the paper lining his bird cage when this is over.

Danny Davis is at ringside arguing with another ref about who is going to officiate the match, and they both agree to do it. i smell some tomfoolery.

In the back, Geno is with Hogan. Hulkster says it has been a long road but it all stops here in a new year and this a dead end for Wonderful. Gene asks why this was settled earlier, and Hogan says this is the last resort as Wonderful is about to find out.

Match#1 Hulk Hogan (c) vs Paul Orndorff w/Bobby Heenan (WWF World Heavyweight Championship-Steel Cage. Escape Only)
Wonderful jumps him and smacks him with the belt across the back over and over, and really kicks the shit out of him in that classic angry Wonderful stuff that rocked last year. Hogan's selling is fantastic as he's slumped over and can't do anything other than grab at his feet to stop him, and he has to fight like hell to finally get his hands on him. They fight on top and Hogan drags him back over the cage and hangs him upside down and pounds the shit out of him!! He gets dirty in revenge and it's another sign he's a bitch. Paul is able to fight back and turn it into a knock down drag out with a lot of cutoffs of escapes from both, and it's great times. Hogan tries to get out the door but the lock is stuck, and Vince claims that Davis locked it. Fucking slander, if you ask me. They fight again and both climb out on opposite sides and they jump down at the same time and both refs hold the other man's up. DAVIS SHOVES THE OTHER REF ON HIS ASS AND RAISES PAUL'S HAND, AND HOGAN GOES AFTER HIM, BUT PAUL RAMS HIS KNEE INTO HOGAN'S BACK. The other ref gets back up and tells Fink this is a draw, and will be restarted right now. We come back to Paul beating Hogan's ass and throwing him back into the cage. He keeps killing him really bad, but never tries to escape as he's gone off the deep end at this point. Hogan Hulks up and wreaks his day as only he can, and the cage adds something new to it as well. Hogan kills him with the Legdropm and gets rid of Heenan when he tries to help. Hogan climbs over the top to win.

Mean Gene recaps the Savage/Steele feud

In the back, Randy tells Liz to shut up because no one cares about her. He screams to leave him or he'll smash her face against the wall. Jesus fucking hell.

In the back, Steele says See and shoves Gene's face into the camera before walking off.


George Steele comes out without any surprise, but he gives Elizabeth a toy of himself. Savage grabs it from her and throws it away.

Match#2 Randy Savage (c) w/Miss Elizabeth vs George Steele (WWF Intercontinental Championship)
Once again, Randy bumps his ass off like a madman to do anything to help this goof out, and hey it works because he's the best ever. Steele signals to the back for someone, and it lets Randy take over and kick his ass in our first sweet control seg of 1987. RANDY GOES FOR THE ELBOW BUT RICKY STEAMBOAT'S MUSIC HITS AND HE RUNS OUT AND CONFRONTS HIM AS RANDY LOOKS LIKE HE'S SEEN A GHOST. HOLY FUCK. Steele uses it to attack Randy, and then swoop Liz up and take her to the back as Jesse yells this is kidnapping and he's going to jail. Steamer poses on the outside and chases after him as refs finally run out and make him leave like real cowards. Steele finally comes back out and the match resumes. More silly nonsense for a couple of minutes with Randy again dying, and Steele doing a lot of biting and eating of things. You know, pro wrestling. Steele bites Randy's arm, and Savage sells it amazingly well. Randy gets to the floor and gets the ring bell and knocks this fuck out cold with a shot to the back of the head to win.

Randy goes for the kill, but Steamer runs back down and chases him off. Yeah, this feud is the best.

They replay Race becoming king.

In the back, Race forces Gene to bow to him.

In the back, JYD says this country has never had a king and it never win. This dog is going to hunt.

Match#3 King Harley Race w/Bobby Heenan vs Junkyard Dog
Both men are old and past it, so they have a fun old man fight with good punches and knees, and some nice bumps from both. As they can still do the basics better than most, and it does help that Race is still a motherfucker that dies for this shit. JYD clobbers him with a gross headbutt and puts on the robe and crown, and Heenan loses it and attacks him. JYD kills him dead with more awesome shots, but Race comes off the top with a knee to the head and some elbows, and the ref DQ's him.

Post match, they keep beating on him and take the robe and crown back. JYD comes back to life and murders Davis with a Headbutt.

In the back, Heenan talks to Orndorff. He says they know he won the title tonight, so he's going to get a copy of the tape and show it to Jack Tunney, and he'll have no choice but to reverse the decision and give the championship to him. Gene walk on as they keeps shoutting how they were ripped off and this will be fixed.

They replay the footage of both men's feet hitting the floor, and it's a dead heat.

In the back, AA says that would have put out a mortal wrestler, but he takes a licking and keeps on kicking. Ajax won't get this one out of Piper.


In the back, Gene interviews Roddy Piper. He says he'll make this real short. He says he's humiliated him, and the only shameful thing is not getting back up. He congratulates Adrian for returning, but he's not fighting for money, he's fighting for pride. Piper has found a new dealer as he's ALL kinds of nuts.

Match#4 Roddy Pipper vs Adrian Adonis w/Jimmy Hart
FIGHT. Piper beats the dogshit out of him with a flurry of offence, and AA (who is SO fat at this point) takes insane, insane bumps all over the place for him. A complete blast and then some. AA sneaks in an eye poke to have a chance, and it turns into a grosser fight between them as it's all pure hate and fire. They fight on the outside where Piper does well, but AA sprays him with his bottle to blind him, and wins via countout.

Post match, Piper attacks the ref on instinct until others get in and clam him down. They cover his face with water and towels and get him out of there.

In the back, Gene interview Hulk Hogan. He says he doesn't know the agony of defeat, and now everyone knows he had Paul Orndorff beat, dude. Gene goes over how Heenan will take footage to Jack Tunney, and Hogan says everyone knows that Danny Davis is crooked, so that draw doesn't matter, and then he beat Orndorff again. He says he's getting off on this night tonight, and he's looking for bigger and better challenges in 1987. Hogan is being a dick again, so maybe it's time for someone to step up and shut him up.

Match#5 Blackjack Mulligan vs Jimmy Jack Funk
bad and lazy squash from this olllllllld man. Bad offence and even worse selling from both, and a bad ending on an otherwise super fun show. BJ wins with a bad back elbow.

Very weird start to the year with 2 live events and no TV outside of SNME, but with this being thrown in my face i would be a jackass to bitch. Ricky is beyond angry and lays waste to Savage for his crimes, and it's just the coolest shit in the world. Insane bumping from Randy as always, but its ramped up more given the context and where this is all leading towards. Savage catches him with a double sledge to the face and attacks the throat with mean offence, and Steamer's selling is incredible. The control seg is quickly ended for more angry Ricky getting revenge, and it's good but feels like it could have and should have been later. STILL Steamer beats the shit out of him and wreaks him. They fight on the outside where Randy knees him into the wooden steps to fuck him up again. He tries to attack the throat, but Steamer snaps and grabs a chair and tries to kill him, but the ref stops him, so Steamer elbows him out cold!!!!

Holy shit, Sky, talk about testing me. Insane to think that Haynes is the only one of these men still alive, but he's in jail for killing his wife. So, yeah that tracks. Bad first TV match as no one is good or fun, but it's a blast for pure pro wrestling bullshit. THUMP ends it.

-Ken hypes up an upcoming Piper/AA match.
-AA says the flower shop is gone after a baseball bat, and Piper's Pit is boring and out of style. He's going to make him pay his dues and get blood out of his stone. The strong eat the weak and he's going to be the weak when he gets through with him.

Blackjack is rounding up bulls and cows.

Match#3 Jake Roberts vs Billy Anderson
FUCK YEAH JAKE. Not very long sadly, but still a classic ass kicking from our Snake as he kills the arm on the mat and just kills the kid at every single turn. In a pre-tape, Jake says no man has arms as big as Damien and no man has ever gotten up from the destruction of the DDT. DDT ends it as Jesse talks shit about Hogan. Ahh, what should have been.

-Mr Fuji is here for business and to win the bunkhouse brawl as it's dangerous and he loves that. He loves to see bones break and people cry. He brings on Bob Orton as his secret plan to help him win.
-Bob says Fuji is now his manger and he's even more evil than him. It will come down to them and Mulligan, and they're going to tear him apart as he's thinking about the darkside now. He's taking that money home.




Match#4 The British Bulldogs vs Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff w/Slick
Nooooooooo, we're meant to be done with this horrid matchup. DK has badly injured his back and is now working hurt on pain pills, and it's a recipe for some serious shit coming down the pike. Davis lets the heels cheat from the start as they beat on Davey, and it's fine enough for the 100th time we've seen it. Slick hits Davey with his cane, and DK slowly chases after him and Davis counts them out.

Piper's Pit time. Roddy says he's not waiting time as this isn't easy for him either, and he brings on Randy and Liz. Piper tries to talk to her,. but Savage freaks out and refuses. He brings out a Steamboat toy and says this is a has-been that he put out of wrestling, and Piper doesn't have the guts to do the same. AA is going to put him out for good. Randy brings out his toy and says high in the air, and Piper says it has more hair than he does. DANGER ZONE RIGHT THERE AND HE'S LETTING THAT GO. He hands the toy to Piper as a peace offering, so Piper gives him a ticket for next weeks show to see Steamboat wrestle.

Match#5 The Rougeau Brothers vs. Jack Kruger & Kevin Collins
Wooooooooooooo. Our fellas beat the living shit out of these goofs, and it's even better than the work they were doing even a month or so ago. Just insane talent getting even better. The seated senton ends it.

Match#6 Butch Reed w/Slick vs Reggie Parks
Butch gets 2 minutes and change to kick an old man's ass, and it's awesome as hell as he's mean and throws nasty strikes time and time again. He wins with a sick Flying Lariat

In the back, Jesse hears girl's screaming and assumes it's Savage, but Zenk and Martel walk on with their clothes torn to shreds. Jesse is not happy about this at all.

In a pre-tape, Piper speaks about losing his hearing in the chain match, nearly losing his liver in a fight and spending 3 weeks in hospital for exhaustion. All of these things are true. All these kids are looking up to him now, and he's not sure why. Maybe he shouldn't have said some mean things because of AA's position in life. He's never been out here to offend kids as he's been a rotten son of a goat sometimes. HE MADE RODDY PIPER WHAT HE IS TODAY AND HE CAN'T STANDS NO MORE. HE'S THE TYPE OF MAN WHO KICKS A MAN WHEN HE'S DOWN BECAUSE IT'S A HELL OF A LOT EASIER.

Kamala jumps him right away with the amazing clubbering and hits him with the title across the back, and it's a wonderful wildman murder. Hogan fights back as he did with Wonderful and hits the same notes, and it's good again but something different would be cool. Kamala thankfully takes back over and attacks the back and really lays in the fat, and Hogan's selling rocks a ton. Hogan bleeds when he gets thrown into the cage, and it's a sick gusher that Kamala bites and mauls at it. Hogan Hulks up and pinballs the big man around in another insane show of power, and Kamala sells soooo well for a dude as big as him. Hogan takes out the mangers and climbs up and over to win.

Fuck yeah, Savage 2 and half to beat the hell out of this shitheel, and what do ya know it's the best stuff as always. I wish i could add more, but just know there is no one better than him. He kills him with the double axe handle and finally hits the Elbow to win.

Match#2 Tito Santana vs Jimmy Jack Funk
4 minutes, so an actual wrestling match. JJF is horrible and brings nothing to it, but Tito finally gets uncorked and wreaks this bum in epic Tito fashion. Amazing strikes, bumps and sells as always. JJF attacks the back with lame offence, but Tito works so damn hard to make it work and really saves what could have stunk with a lesser wrestler in there. Tito fights back and wins with the Forearm.

Match#3 Kamala w/Kimchee & Grand Wizard vs Jesse Cortez
In a pre-tape, Heenan confronts Tunney about being the leak on what's happened between him and Andre, and he demands he keep his mouth shut. GOD YES. Another sick Kamala squash, but the real story is Heenan refusing to answer anything Gorilla says as he keeps changing the subject. Splash ends the murder.

Our first Snake Pit is on for the year, and Butch and Slick are the guests. They trade natural banter and it's pretty much the same stuff that Reed is always saying. Jake says to be a legend you gotta take one out, and Butch says he's coming for Hulk Hogan. The big blonde bully needs to take a bow to him.

Match#5 The Killer Bees vs Don Muraco & Bob Orton w/Mr Fuji
Yessss. FUn opener with Blair getting a ton of time against the heels and breaking out a lot of cool shit. Davis lets a double team happen to help the heels take over, and they beat the shit out of Blair after a nasty forearm from Don. Really good control seg for a couple of minutes as the heels get down and dirty and kick the honey out of him. The bees get knocked to the floor and put on the fucking masks for some bullshit,AND DAVIS THANKFULLY DQ'S THEM FOR IT. GOD BLESS.

He's back (and better than ever) super mad and gets 3 minutes to kick the fuck out of a good jobber willing to eat all the shit for the Steamer. Wonderful offence and selling, and just all it needed to be. Randy does a cut in saying Ricky is busted open and he knows he's not 100%, so there is no need to watch him on his TV. Crossbody ends it.

WWF UPDATE-
-They show footage of a recent Race/BJH match where Billy had the Full Nelson locked in before Heenan saved. BJH locked him in the Full Nelson for some revenge.
-Bobby says BJH might think he's strong and big, but he's got someone in mind who knows what's that really about.

In a pre-tape, Steele reads the WWF magazine and says Savage is bad.

Match#2 Kamala w/Kimchee vs Don Driggers
Awesome short fat man outing for our guy. Big Splash ends it in about 50 seconds.

-Ken announces it will be Bruno vs Randy in a Lumberjack match for the IC title in Boston
-Ricky will be one of the lumberjacks.
-He's spoken to Bruno and they have put this together as to why Sika is now coming after him and his injured throat. He knows he told all the boys to come after his throat, and he will have his plate full. The only way he's not going to be there is if he's taken out on a stretcher again, and that will never happen. Don't hold him responsible if he rolls out near him.

At ringside, the jobber is taken out on a stretcher,.

Killer Ken-
-BJH says he's in the best shape of his life right now, and he knows Herc is big and bad and put him in the Full Nelson and he felt that strength. They're going nose to nose in Boston, and he's going to break his neck, PUNK.

Despite all of that, this rules as they CLUB and BASH the snot out of the jobbers and give brand new life to the tag division that's needed a true monster team in the ranks for a while. They break out the Decapitation to win.

It's time for Piper's Pit where we see a giant trophy on the set. Piper shouts he's still alive in 1987 and he's the master of this. He calls this the most important thing he's ever done in his life, and he invites Tunney out to help him do it. Jack covers all of Hulk Hogan's highlights since he won the title and how he's the best American ever and is idolised man in the world. He salutes him on the 3rd anniversary of his reign. Hogan comes out and holds the trophy above his head and talks about feeling something special when he won., but he never dreamt 3 years done the lime this would happen for him. This is just as great as winning the world title and seeing the Hulkmanics for the first time. ANDRE THE GIANT WALKS OUT FROM BEHIND AS PIPER SHOUTS HE'S HOGAN'S BEST FRIEND.

Piper puts the mic in front of his face, and Andre says "three years to be a champion is a long time" He shakes Hogan's hand super aggressively, AND MAYBE CRUSHES IT AND HOGAN LOOKS WORRIED AS ANDRE WALKS OFF. Piper gives Hogan the trophy back, and Hogan holds it up to end it. This is complete perfection.




Match#4 Hercules w/Bobby Heenan vs Jim Parks
Jesse says this is the first time he's ever noticed how much bigger Andre is when standing next to Hogan. Bad and lame squash as always, but whatever i'm not bothered anymore. Full Nelson ends it.

Post match, Bobby gets the mic and shouts np one is getting out of that move, not even BJH. Billy walks out and offers his back for the challenge, but Bobby doesn't want Herc to do it. BJH goes after him, so Herc attacks him from behind and locks it in. JACK STARTS FIGHTING OUT, SO BOBBY KICKS HIM IN THE GUTS AND HE FINALLY PASSES OUT. OH SHIT.

WRESTLEMANIA 3 IS COMING ON MARCH 29TH.

Match#5 The Killer Bees vs Iron Mike Sharpe & Terry Gibbs
These stupid goofs now wrestle in the masks right away, and look like big silly jerks as a result. HF have a cut in calling the masks illegal and wrong. This is nearly 5 minutes long and completely awful as they look even worse not being able to shut jobbers down, and actually sell at points. WHAT THE FUCK, MAN. Jimmy B wins with a dropkick.

OUTLAW RON BASS DEBUTS IN A CUT IN SAYING HE'S THE BADDEST DUDE IN THE WORLD. YESSSSSS. Mike does some fun mat wrestling as he's caring again, and Danny hits the jobbers very hard and shows how much he's grown in the last few weeks. BJ gets in and wins with his back elbow

In a cut in, Slick says Butch's contract is not for sale. Good mean squash as always as Butch batters the kid and kills him with a sick Gorilla Press to win,

-Anvil says he's really scared of two men who speak to a fat ugly dog, and he's not sure he wants to be near them. Match#3 Can-Am-Connection vs Gladiator & Terry Gibbs
Our first fun outing for the boys for 87. Zenk moves pretty well and looks good, but Martel is a freakish smooth man and kills it every chance he gets with his fantastic offence. Slingshot Splash ends it.

WWF is playing mind games against him with Steele and Steamboat, but the fire he breathes he will burn by. He is the master of the mind games and the lord and master of the ring, and the games will start and start and come to a direct and viscous ending. THAT'S WHEN THE DARKNESS COMES TO RICK STEAMBOAT. ANYTIME HE SEES THE GAMES HE GOING TO TAKE THAT PERSON ALL THE WAY HOME.

Match#4 Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart vs Steve Joudiran
20 seconds of nothing before HTM wins with the Shake, Rattle and Roll.

Match#5 Dino Bravo & The Dream Team w/Johnny V vs Tito Santana, Pedro Morales & Hillbilly Jim
Hammer and Tito get maybe 30 seconds of amazing stuff in between the terrible wrestlers on the other sides, and yeah it's not making me happy. Davis keeps helping the heels, so Tito grabs the mic and screams he's had enough of this and they walk out and take the loss.

Jesse says Hogan has been handpicking challengers for the last 3 years and that's why he's champion. He would have gotten cotton webs waiting for a shot. Paul beats up ratboy for 2 minutes, but something feels lacking as he's not as violent or mean as he once was. Feels like the arm injury has sadly killed him off. Piledriver does the job.

In the ring, Paul Roma is being helped out, so Lombardi attacks him and chucks him over the ropes to the floor.

Match#2 Koko B Ware vs Steve Lombardi
BRALWER JUMPS HIM AND KICKS HIS ASS. HELL YEAH. Awesome strikes and mean offence, and Koko sells his ass off for all of it. He stays on him and really batters him in a wonderful showing of what he's got. Lombardi misses an elbow and hurts himself, so Koko is able to fight back and he unloads hell in some sweet revenge. Sick offence for a good 90 seconds and he kills him with a top rope Dropkick

-JYD walks on and talks about the score he needs to settle with Race after he attacked him. Dog's promo suck when he's not high as fuck and barking, so fuck this.

IN THE BACK, LOMBARDI SHOUTS ROMA HAS NO PLACE IN THE RING WITH HIM AND HE NEEDS TO STAY OUT OF HIS WAY.

Match#3 Bob Orton & Don Muarco w/Mr Fuji vs The Can-Am-Connection
The faces waste no time and turn into a pier 6 brawl right away, and holy shit it's awesome as possible with a ton of cool shots being thrown by everyone. Fuji cracks Zenk in the ribs with his cane, and Martel is forced to fight alone. Fantastic stuff between him and Orton going back and forth as it's smooth and brutal as hell. Fuji has a cut in saying after this, the pretty boys will be old and ugly. Zenk gets back in and isolated quickly, and the control seg is very fun stuff as they wreak this pretty boy. Davis helps the heels cheat, and Vince loses his shit about it and demands something be done. MARTEL FINALLY HAS ENOUGH AND TRIPS DON AND ATTACKS HIM AND A BIG FIGHT BREAKS OU AGAIN WITH THE FACES CLEARING THE RING, AND DAVIS DQ'S BOTH TEAMS. SON OF A BITCH

-Adrian talks about the street fights that have gone all around America with ears being chopped off and people nearly dying. Now, they have bought someone made in a basement or something from a nightmare. He and Piper could be on a wanted list if they wanted to be. Andre is there to keep order, but not even him on rollerskates can do that.

Match#4 Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs Randy Sharpe
RANDY KILLS THIS MOTHERFUCKER DEAD IN 40 SECONDS WITH A PATH OF RAGE. ELBOW DOES IT
OOOOOOOH YEAH. DIG IT.

It's time for Piper's Pit. There is another trophy on the set this week. Piper says this is a special episode starting the year off right. He brings Tunney out again to present this award. Jack talks about an amazing WWF hero. A man who is the greatest athlete in the history of wrestling, and the only undefeated man in WWF. Andre The Giant. Andre walks on with a big smile on his face, and piper sings his praises and asks if he has anything to say. Andre tries to speak. BUT HOGAN COMES OUT AND SAYS HE'S MORE EXCITED FOR THIS THAN ANDRE IS. He blows him and says he's his role model and the man he apires to be as he's #1 in the WWF. He thanks the fans for recognising the best in the world. ANDRE WALKS OUT. Hogan shouts that's the biggest act of modesty you'll ever seen. Piper is very confused by all of this, and even Hogan seems take aback.

THIS IS THE BEST.

In a pre-tape, HTM and Jimmy Hart talk about starting their own fast good chain with Honky Burgers. God Bless.

Match#5 The Hart Foundation w/Jimmy Hart vs Scott McGhee & Tony Garea
The boys are back. They get 3 minutes to cook and absolutely kill it as only they can. Awesome power stuff from Anvil along with his normal crazy antics, and Bret is the smoothest and best dude in the world not named Savage. Hart Attack kills a bitch.

Match#6J Jimmy Jack Funk, Ron Bass & The Gladiator vs. Blackjack Mulligan & The American Express
Ron makes his debut with these doofus, but fuck yeah nonetheless. Ron looks fantastic as a fat angry cowboy kicking pretty boys asses as he damn well should. Jesse says he's going to be on Piper's Pit next week and get answers that no one else in the world can possibly dream of getting. Rest of the match is pretty bad and not fun at all, and the old man wins with his crappy elbow.

So cool to see this happening on a our perfect B show. Bobby loses his shit over Andre getting a smaller trophy and having his spotlight stolen from Hogan. Gorilla tries to say that's not true, but he's a fucking moron. Jacques uses his speed to keep Don on the backfoot and kicks his ass in super fun fashion, leading to some awesome Don bumps. Everyone fights on the outside and the ref counts both men out.

3 great minutes of Ricky getting to unload of this goof by beating his stupid head in as only Ricky can do to a man. Liz has a cut in saying she's not sure what Randy might do if they meet again, and she's worried. Crossbody ends it

HEY, I just found out about this match while i was on Cagematch and it's on YouTube in full, so lets dance.

Hulk Hogan & Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage & Honky Tonk Man w/Jimmy Hart & Miss Elizabeth (51/)
Maybe the most babyface super team to ever be a team in this era. RANDY CHUCKS A CHAIR AT RICKY AND CRACKS THE REF IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD TO KNOCK HIM LOOPY. Wonderful babyface shine to start with our heroes making HTM look like a jackass amazing form, and we get stooging and wild bumping from him. Randy keeps stalling and running from it, and the crowd gets hotter and hotter each time. HTM keeps dying and it's the best he's looked thus far, and i now have some hope for his run if he does stuff like this. Hogan really kicks his butt and breaks out some funny moments in between the beating. RANDY KNEES RICKY IN THE BACK WHEN HE RUNS THE ROPES, AND HE FINALLY GETS IN AMAZING. He beats the shit out of his back and throat in crazed and dirtbag fashion, and my God it's amazing. Savage keeps being a complete prick, so Hogan finally attacks him on the floor to save Ricky in the nicest thing he's done in a while. HTM keeps controlling until Ricky finally gets free and tags in Hogan for a sick hot tag with all the fire and cocaine the 80's can possibly provide. He wreaks Savage and tags Ricky back in to finally whip Randy's ass, and hey it's very, very good. HTM shoves him off the ropes when he tries the Crossbody, so Hogan goes after him. Back in the ring, Randy shoves the ref and tries to use the bell, but Hogan saves!!! Ricky gets the bell, so Randy runs for the hills to save his life, and the match is kinda over.

Hulk Hogan (c) vs Kamala w/Kimchee & King Curtis (WWF World Heavyweight Championship-No DQ) 19/1/87
Hogan is wearing warpaint as he's ready for another battle. Coolest dude in the world at this point, tbh. Kamala jumps him and kills him with the belt and clubbering again, but Hogan fights back and KILLS him with a title shot to the face and fucks him up. Kimchee saves and lets the monster take back over, and now he;'s super man and goes for Hogan's throat with chops and boots. Awesome control seg as Hogan sells like death and does everything he can to make him look like a true killer, and Kamala rocks. Kamala hits the running splash and Hogan is the first man to kick out of it. Hogan fights back and unloads a tremendous ass kicking with all the fire he has, and even some cheating when he chokes him with his wrist tape. Kamala's wobbly selling ruuuules and MSG comes loose when Hogan finally knocks him to the floor. The managers save again, and this time Kamala bites Hogan and rips his forehead open as a result for a gnarly blade job. HOGAN GETS PODWER FROM HIS TIGHTS AND BLINDS KAMALA, AND KILLS THE MANGERS. HE STEALS THE WIZARD'S TOOTH NECKLACE AND STABS KAMALA IN THE FACE AND HITS THE LEGDROP TO WIN.

POST MATCH, ANDRE COMES OUT AND GRABS THE TITLE AND HOLDS IT UP AS HOGAN ASKS FOR IT BACK. ANDRE KEEPS LOOKING AT IT AND EVENTUALLY JUST THROWS IT AT HOGAN AND WALKS OUT OF THE RING.

Hello, early 1986 why are you back in our lives a year later????? 3 minutes of not much as Tito can't carry this much dead weight by himself. Can not fucking wait for Strike Force to debut so we can FINALLY move on from this. The old guys suck so much shit and take up most of the match to make it worse, and yeah fuck this. Killer fat man squash as AA has gained another 50kgs and looks horrible, but he's sooooo cool and mean that it works perfectly. Sleeper does it.

It's time for Piper's Pit. He has both trophy's on the set as he says it's the year of awards, and his guest is stirring up controversy about them. Jesse walks on, and Piper demands to know why he's been saying what he's been saying. Jesse says he's not doing anything, but Andre was reinstated and it was fishy to him from the start as Heenan was there and somehow Andre comes back. No one hides anything from him, and he finally knows what's about to happen. You know when you have a crown jewell when you have knowledge that no one else has, it's like Watergate or Iran. HE KNOWS AND HE'S NOT TALKING TO ANYONE. Piper says that's what most of the liars and people full of bull in his life do, and he thinks Jesse is full of it. Jesse talks about the size of the trophy and Hogan's being bigger despite Andre never losing in 15 years. Hogan has been champion for 3 years and he's ducked Andre. Piper shouts he's fought both of them and they don't duck anyone and he knows Hogan earned his trophy. Jesse says they have a difference of opinion, and they could settle in the ring right now. Piper rips his shirt off, but Jesse says he can get Andre on the show next week as Andre owes him a favour, but he wants to know if Piper can produce Hogan. YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I CAN.

Outback Jack has finally made it to the airport.

Match#5 Greg Valentine w/Johnny V & Brutus Beefcake vs Haku
Fuck yeah they start throwing bombs right away with elbows and headbutts, and neither man backs up at all. Haku switches to knees to the body, but Hammer KILLS him with a nasty Lariat to the face and beats the shit out of him. Haku refuses to die and fights back at every turn, and it's just a sick as fuck back and forth. The heels get involved and trip Haku, so Tama runs down to even it up and trips Hammer in revenge. Davis sees it and DQ's Haku right away in a bullshit call.

Match#6 Jake Roberts vs Jerry Allen
Jake is all fired up and kicks the holy shit out of the kid in 40 seconds and kills him with the DDT to win.
TRUST ME.

Post match, he drops Damien onto the kid, and the fans love it.

In the back, Piper walks into Hogan's dressing room and says he kinda told the world he would be on the Pit to meet Andre, so he's asking. Hogan agrees to do it. FUCK YEAH.

Match#1 King Harley Race w/Bobby Heenan vs Koko B Ware
Koko is wearing a full body suit in a weird choice. Wicked 2 minutes as both men hit hard and bump like freaks and then some. Race controls with some suplexes and hurls him around, and Davis lets some cheating happen. Koko tries to jump off the top but Heenan shoves him off, and Race makes the pin with a Davis fast count.

JYD comes down to check on Koko, and Davis gets in his face and demands he leave as the faces confront him. JYD KILLS HIM WITH A HIP TOSS. WOOOOO GET THOSE THUMPS

Battle of the three named losers. Bad muscle head fight for a couple of minutes as BJH sucks on offence and defence, and JJF is beyond giving a shit. Herc watches at ringside along with Heenan. Full Nelson ends it.

-Gene hypes up the arena and says 90,0000 thousand people will be there, so buy your tickets now.

The tag title match is about to happen, but Matilda chases after the HF, AND JIMMY CRACKS DK IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH THE MEGAPHONE AND HE'S OUT COLD. Davey beats the shit out of both of the Foundation in amazing fashion. Danny Davis checks on a now dead DK, AND HE STARTS THE MATCH. OH FUCK

Match#2 The British Bulldogs (c) vs The Hart Foundation w/Jimmy Hart (WWF World Tag Team Championships)
Davey fights like hell to take them both out with his insane power and he does very well for himself. He kills Anvil with the Powerslam, but Davis checks on DK and misses the pinfall. HF now double team Davey and beat the shit out of him as Davis turns his back on all of it. They hit a Double DDT AND THE HART ATTACK AND WIN THE TITLES. FUCK YES.

-Gene says we now have a dark cloud over another title change in the WWF.

Match#3 Hercules w/Bobby Heenan vs Buddy Blake
Herc gets 3 minutes to hurt an otherwise perfect episode, and the best episode of any WWF show in this project thus far. Awful, awful stuff from him, but fuck it he can have a pass because i'm nice. He wins with the Full Nelson to send a message.

-Ricky says he can't get no satisfaction because Randy keeps running from him, and the only way he gets it is by getting him. He made a surprise at SNME, and he's going to have another one in Boston. Gene says he hopes Liz isn't there to see this, and Ricky says she's better not be.

In the ring, Hillbilly Jim introduces Outback Jack. Fuck me.

Match#4 Outback Jack vs Steve Lombardi
Jack can't wrestle a damn lick and looks terrible. Lombardi tries his best to bump his ass off for the bad offence, but it's a stinky affair. Jack wins with a running Bulldog.

Jesse and Piper are standing by and Jesse demands Piper produce Hogan right now. Hulkster makes his way out as Jesse says he's impressed and he doesn't impress easy. He introduces Andre The Giant

Bobby gets the mic and shouts he's sick and tired of him and what he stands for. FOR 3 YEARS HE USED HIM AS CHAMPION AND HE'S VERMIN. THEY GAVE HIM A LITTLER TROPHY AND HOGAN STOLE HIS MOMENT BECAUSE HE COULDN'T STAND IT. HE'S UNDEFEATED FOR 15 YEARS. Hogan gets emotional now and says he's wrong, wrong, dude. He poured champagne over his head when he won the title and this is wrong. He begs Andre to not leave with him as he grabs on Andre's shoulders to try and get him to change his mind

"TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF MY SHOULDERS"

Bobby says he's got one more thing to say to him.

ANDRE STICK HIS HAND UNDER HOGAN'S CHIN AND LIFTS IT UP SO HE CAN LOOK INTO HIS EYES.

"Look at me when I'm talking to you! I'm here for one reason: To challenge you for the World Championship match at WrestleMania."

HOGAN IS IN COMPLETE SHOCK AND SAYS THEY'RE FRIENDS AND IT CAN'T HAPPEN. PLEASE. BOBBY SAYS HE MIGHT NOT BELIVE THAT, BUT MAYBE HE CAN BELIVE THIS. ANDRE RIPS HOGAN'S SHIRT AND CROSS OFF AND WALKS OUT WITH BOBBY.

Hogan is kneeling on the ground looking at his cross and says he can't leave like this, and Piper's looks at his now bloody chest and says he's bleeding. Hogan shouts he can't leave like this, and what is he doing. Piper helps Hogan up and walks off with him.

The single best angle/story WWF has ever run to this point. 100& complete and absolute perfection in every sense of the word.



Match#5 The Killer Bees vs Jimmy Jack Funk & Al Navarro
Jesse says he had no idea Bobby was going to be there as he was told to get Andre there. He says Hogan has no chance against Andre, and whether he responds or not, he's got no choice but to defend the title. Jesse then changes his tune and says Hogan has been ducking Andre for 3 years and he's yellow and the match won't happen. Vince now chimes in that Hogan was in shock, but he'll respond soon enough. Bruno tries to say Hogan has never avoided a challenger, and Jesse calls bullshit and says there's a lot of people who would say otherwise. As for the match, it's another terrible 5 minute Bees Squash, so fuck this. Jesse makes a Greyhound Bus joke that confused Bruno, and you. can here Jesse eyes roll into the back of his head as a result. Bruno calls the challenge out of line and it's not right, but Hogan will make the right decision. Bees win with a dropkick after being the backdrop for some of the best commentary ever.

In the back, new announcer Craig DeGeorge makes his debut. He tries to speak to Heenan, but he rushes past him laughing his balls off. Mean Gene walk on and says Hogan is deflated and had a dagger stuck in his heart and he's going to try and find the information.

Match#6 Butch Reed w/Slick vs David Stoudmerie
Good shit as always from Butch. Koko has a cut in saying he's going to go natural on Butch's head and he better be in the best shape of his life if they ever meet. Butch wins with a sick Press Slam and running splash.

Post match, Slick gets on the mic and says they're coming for Tito.

Mean Gene-
-SMASH MAKES HIS DEBUT ALONG SIDE AX. He says people are scared of them and he doesn't blame them at all. Ax says The Islanders will be their first victims on the way to the world tag team titles.
