AT GENESIS IT WILL BE KURT VS JOE. ALSO THE FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TOURNAMENT KICKS OFF. OH GOD KILL ME NOW.

Newwwwww world champion Sting makes his way out to the Zone. He gets in the ring and Christian is standing in the corner with a mic. He says Sting has been stealing his thunder for long enough, so he wanted to return the favour. He says this is a load of crap he has to fight in a tournament for a title he never lost. 17 losers who can't carry his jock getting an opportunity over him is bull, and he wonders if this is because he cracked him with that guitar. He calls him sacred and says its because he knows he's not the biggest star in the world anymore. He has the stroke to name his challenger, so just give him and the peeps what they want. Sting gets the mic and says he can have a shot for the title when he says it will be. He pulls out the bat and beats the shit out of him and holds the ring.

In the back, JB is promoting Angle being here when Joe walks up behind him. He says he knows Kurt well enough, and now they're going to get up and personal.

Shane Douglas speaks a lot of lame words about his lame Nats finally getting a title shot tonight. They lost a week ago, so this is very dumb. LAX come out for the match, BUT AMW JUMP THEM OVER THE BORDER FOR AN AMAZING FIGHT. FUCK YEAH. They brawl over the Zone beating the complete shit out of each other, and it's a blast. AMW throw them back in the ring and the match starts as AMW are dragged away.

Match#1 LAX (c) w/Konnan vs The Naturals (NWA-TNA World Tag Team Championships)
The Nats stay on the attack on the big man for a fun fired up fight, and it's the best they've looked in months and months. Andy gets tossed to the floor and hurts his ribs, and LAX quickly swarm Chase and kill him with the Gringo Killer. Konnan hits Andy with the Slapjack, and Hernandez hits him with the Border Toss to win.

Post match, LAX beat them down some more and leave them laying. Shane stumbles to the ring and screams at them for being the worst. He slaps Chase, so Chase finally hits him back. Andy cracks him as well and busts his mouth open. Shane smiles at them in approval.

We go to a video of Alex and Nash!!!!
-Alex asks if Nash thinks Starr is better than him, and Nash says he's just different.
-Devine has been fired for refusing to edit the German snuff films.
-Starr walks on with his trophy.
-Nash praises him for singly handedly bringing the division back from the toilet, and he wants Shelley to film him.
-Alex is not happy and asks why, and Starr says it's because he's a Starr.

At the booth, DW and Mike explain the fight the right

Abyss,AJ Styles, Chris Sabin, Christopher Daniels, Lance Hoyt, Robert Roode, Ron Killings, Brother Devon, Brother Runt, Christian Cage,Eric Young, James Storm,Jay Lethal, Kazarian, Kip James, Raven, Senshi & Sonjay Dutt are the poor bastards stuck in this dire thing. Everyone starts on the floor and fights to get in, and it's the single dumbest thing Russo has ever booked fr a million good reasons. Just a complete clusterfuck vile bucket of poop. AJ is amazing even in this bumping his ass off on the floor, but it's absolutely not worth it. Tenay announces Cage vs Rhino in a barbed wire cage match on the 16th. Goddamn it, man. We get a shot of Maverick Matt in the crowd, and DW says it's Raven's old perch. Uhhh, no it's not at all, my man. The Nats and 3D argue on the floor for some reason. Rhino pulls Cage away, and LAX attack AMW on the floor for another amazing fight.? The 7 who get in are Robert Roode, Chris Sabin, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Abyss, Lance Hoyt, and Ron Killings. Roode throws out Truth first, making Truth the 7th seed. Roode tosses Sabin out too, making him 6th, and then Daniels, who is 5th. AJ gets rid of Roode, and then Abyss tosses AJ who takes an insane header into the rails. So Roode is 4th and AJ is 3rd. Abyss then hits Hoyt with the Black Hole Slam to win after a few horrible minutes to win. The battle royal part wasn't awful, but I cannot in good conscience give this any kind of actual positive rating.

We go to an interview with JJ after the loss. He talks about more than half the match having Sting's number, but he saw something transform in him and he was the better man. JB brings up a rematch, and Jeff says he's going home to step back and refocus on his career. His voice breaks as he talks about getting to do more than he every dreamt of and doing more than a skinny punk kid thought he could do. Carried a company on his back for and half years that he started from nothing.He admits he's dropped the ball personally and professionally, but he's going home.. He warns Sting to be careful what he wishes for because he's tired and exhausted, and now Sting's fight has just started and he sincerely hopes he's ready to carry the ball and be up for the task.

Incredible stuff.

Kurt Angle comes out for some mic time. He talks about leaving WWE and says he quit that place. (because Vince wanted him to go to rehab and he refused) but he says he's here to wrestle in front of the best fans in the world. There is no other company with the talent that TNA has and he wants to be part of that and kick ass their asses and prove he's the best in the damn world. He brings up Joe and admits he's terrified of him, and you would be if you had to face him. He's the best when he's facing fear and he breaks ankles when he's scared. Joe is unbeatable and unbreakable, but one thing TNA didn't tell him was Joe is a bleeder and he LOVES bleeders. WHAT THE FUCK. Anyway, Joe comes out and they have another sick pull apart with the entire locker room getting them off each other close the show.

TONIGHT; TRUTH VS HOYT. DANIELS VS ROODE. SABIN VS AJ IN THE SECOND ROUND OF THE FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO MURDER VINCE RUSSO.

In the back, Sabin is holding the title on his shoulder and remarks that he thought this is how the old timers were meant to do it. He brings up his problems with Lynn and says he's past his peak and he proved him wrong by winning the title. AJ walks on and defends the honour of his old enemy, and Sabin tells him to eat him! AJ tackles him against a wall as the camera cuts away.

We come back to Sabin getting in AJ's face and says he's not waiting for AJ to challenge him for the title, so he's putting it on the line tonight! AJ says he's getting his respect.

We get the intro, and then Tenay announces Rhino vs Cage in a weapons or escape on a pole match. Jesus fucking no.

Match#1 Chris Sabin (c) vs AJ Styles (NWA-TNA X-Division Championship-Fight for your Right quarterfinals)
Awesome as hell back and forth as they go as smooth and fast as possible on the mat and escalate everything very well. AJ breaks out a few Lynn classics to send a message in a cool idea. Sabin cheats to get ahead as he's now a little shithead, and it's a lot of fun watching him get dirty and mean with AJ as the victim. Styles keeps getting countered by the kid as he knows the game, and he drops AJ on his face with a nasty Tornado DDT. AJ keeps getting his ass kicked and Sabin goes for the Shock, BUT AJ COUNTERS INTO AN INSIDE CRADLE TO WIN THE TITLE.

We go to a Sting pre-tape. He talks about Jeff being a changed man when he faced him at BFG and he only just learnt that Jeff is walking in deep and dark despair with his personal life. He says the world title is the cancer as it's everything that represents lying, lust and greed. Now it's about honour, respect and truth. The truth is he's giving credit to God because he's nothing without him.

In the back, Truth and Lance trade some barbs and promise to be boys after this, but this is their biggest chance and they aren't backing off. EY pops up and asks JB to tell Jeff he misses him.

Match#2 Lance Hoyt vs Ron Killings (Quarterfinals)
2 minutes of fine wrestling between two guys who need a lot more time to get anything going. Truth wins with the Axe Kick.

Post match, BG and Kip come out in camo gear. OH NO. He shoots on HHH and HBK hiring them to get them over because they couldn't do it any longer. They couldn't fool them any longer and the world saw who the champions were. He talks about 3LK being a ball dropped and he's had enough of it and if TNA can't find him work, he knows where to find it. He says TNA is now sitting there with their thumbs up their asses, so they can take TNA and shove it because they quit. Kip get the mic and says TNA and Spike can....the mic thankfully cuts out. He tries to use the booth, but they cut him off as well. Something horrid has just happened. VKM

Match#3 Bobby Roode w/Ms Brooks vs Christopher Daniels (Quarterfinals)
Bobby chose Traci Brooks as his manger and she's now got a new name. TNA didn't even bother to cover this and if we didn't know, it would be even more jarring. This is 4 minutes as Russo is back to his old tricks. Stilllll really fun as Bobby is an old school type rassler and Daniels can guide and help him out by being an actual old school pro wrestler who mixes new and cool stuff. Bobby works the neck for a while and gets far with it, and Daniels comeback is fun as Bobby bumps big time for it. Finishing run is short but really good as we get a lot of near falls and the crowd is hot. Brooks distracts the ref after the BME, and Roode hits the Payoff aka a reverse neckbreaker to win.

Post match, AJ runs down to help Daniels up, and Chris looks at the X-Title and yells at him for some reason. DW thinks its because Daniels is upset that AJ is now focused on the title and not the team, and Mike agrees. Great, lets break up the best team in the company.

Hype for Rhino/Cage.

Match#4 Christian Cage vs Rhino (Weapons vs Escape on a POLE)
The winner gets to pick the weapon or means of escape in the cage, but given it's going to have barbed wire on top, the door is the only way you'd get out, so why bother. Oh, wait i remember, because Vince Russo is the dumbest human alive. Cage and Rhino have another fun brawl as they murder each other and take big bumps. However, it all stops dead as they have to climb up a pole to get some of this bullshit down and it's just the worst thing in the world to watch a person pull another person down by their pants. Maverick Matt of all people runs down and attacks Rhino as Cage pulls down some chairs and the bell rings. The fuck

Post match, Rhino gets rid of Maverick and Gores Cage. He finally puts Cage in a straight jacket for some revenge, but Kazarian with green hair now attacks Rhino??????? Rhino easily turns the tide and beats the crap out of them and slams Matt through a table. I, uh, yeah i got nothing.

We end the show with a cool training video for Kurt and Joe.

Match#1 AJ Styles vs Bobby Roode vs Ron Killings (Semi-Finals)
All the seconds are at ringside. Super cool 5 minute sprint as they waste no time getting right to it with cool dives and big moves. AJ wins the dive train with a perfect moonsault on Truth! Everyone keeps going at it and Roode is a sneaky dick stealing pins and attacking people from behind. All the seconds fight and a plant fan throws water on Brooks, so Roode attacks him for it. Back in the ring, AJ beats Truth with a rollup to win.

AJ VS ABYSS IN THE FINALS.

In the back, Roode screams at Brooks for being terrible at her job, so he demands she find PR people and others for him.

In the ring, Shane Douglas calls out Bubba Ray Dudley, and Bubba answers the call. Shane brings up the confrontation from a few weeks ago and says Bubba disrespected him. Bubba says he never did and he has a ton of respect for him. He didn't like what Shane had to say, but he wants to know why he had a grudge against him. Shane says the Nats have earned everything they've gotten and they aren't resting on the washed up history of a washed up company. YOU MEAN LIKE YOU?????? Shane slaps him in the face, and the Nats run down and beat the shit out of Bubba. Shane cracks him with a chain and the Nats beat his fat face in. They throw him into a table, and we then go backstage to see D-Von has been beaten down.
We go to some footage of AMW signing autographs, and Konnan walks over and yells at them. AMW go to fight, BUT HOMICIDE JUMPS OVER A WALL BEHIND THEM AND BEATS THE SHIT OUT OF THEM. HERNANDEZ JOINS IN AND THEY CRIPPLE HARRIS' ARM WITH A GUARD RAIL. HERNANDEZ PICKS UP STORM AND BORDER TOSSES HIM INTO A WALL. OH MY GOD YES,


This and Angle/Joe's build are the two remaining bright spots.

Match#2 Austin Starr w/Kevin Nash & Alex Shelley vs Johnny Devine vs Petey Willams
2 minutes of nothing as Russo is fucking with my saving grace, and he can go to hell. Petey throws Shelley into Starr, and beats Devine with the CD.

LAX come out near the border and get into the ring. Konnan drops the quote and says AMW learnt no one jumps them from behind. He singles out Petey and says he's an immigrant just like them and he knows he's been discriminated against, so he wants him to show up next week TO WATCH HIM BURN THE US FLAG. Petey is okay with this, and Konnan says their flags stand for something, unlike this piece of shit that stands for lies, exploitation, and racism and he's going to PISS on it.

We get a face to face between Rhino and Cage. Nothing new is really said, so whatever.

Match#3 AJ Styles vs Abyss (Finals for FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TO SKULL FUCK VINCE RUSSO)
6 minute version of the magic match, but it works because AJ is a freak with a chip on his shoulder, and Abyss never works better. AJ JUMPS ON ABYSS'S BACK AND FLIPS INTO A RANA TO DROP HIM. He keeps running at him, but doesn't back up and Abyss murders him with a gross boot to the face. Abyss kicks the shit out of him and we get some new and scary AJ bumps like him ramming his unprotected face right into a propped up steel chair. Abyss keeps it up, so AJ is forced to fight even harder to get out of harms way. The ref gets bumped and Cage runs down and brains both of them with chair shots to the face. He gets the mic and says they're looking at the real champ. They both get back and AJ goes full tilt to end it and he gets close, but Abyss won't die. He catches AJ on the top and drills him with the Shock Treatment. Daniels and Mitchell fight at ringside, and Sabin runs down from the other side and hits with a Pele to knock him down. Abyss hits the BHS to win.

Post match, Lynn yells at Sabin for being a dick, and we get a shot of Sting in the rafters watching on.

TONIGHT 2 LIVE HOURS ON PRIMETIME.

In the crowd, EY gets the fans hyped up.

DW announces Kurt Angle vs Abyss will happen tonight along with the Barbed Wire Cage Match.

At ringside, EY tries to talk but LAX's music hits and he shouts sniper and runs off. AMAZING.

LAX gets in the ring and Konnan rants about the discrimination his people face every day and how its turned into a voice message that is being igonored. Well, tonight he burns the symbol and that will never happen again. AMW run down and a fight breaks out and it's incredible as hell. GAIL RETURNS AND KILLS CI WITH A RANA. Hernandez grabs her and tries to hit the Border Toss, but AMW save and Storm kills him with a Superkick and holds the ring. Wonderful stuff.

Samoa Joe hype video.

Match#1 Samoa Joe vs Jay Lethal
Joe attacks him from behind and kicks the shit out of his little buddy in amazing, amazing form. Gross offence and even nastier bumps and sells from Jay. Muscle Buster and the choke ends the fun.

Post match, Joe refuses to let it go, so Sonjay runs down and tries to help but he gets killed! Lynn demands Sabin go and help, and he runs down and teases it, but he jumps off the apron and leaves.

Back in the ring, Joe gets the mic and says he wants Kurt's blood.

In the carpark, LAX are there with Christy. Konnan says there are no heroes to save this and they're going to make them famous and put her on the map. Petey walks on and Konnan calls off the dogs and invites him to go with them to burn the flag. He agrees!

In the bathroom, Shelley and Starr are pissing and yelling at each other about last week and whose to blame. Shelley says they should let Nash settle this, and he offers a shake BUT HE SAYS IT STINGS WHEN HE DOES THAT. Nash pops his head over the stall and yells to shut the front door. He says he's got a real log jam in there, but he wants them to know he's a Harvard Law Grad.

He pulls out a gavel and demands they state their cases. He says one will be found guilty and one innocent by the end of the night.

In the back, 3D cut a 3D ass promo about tables and the Nats shooting their shots against legends.

Match#2 Team 3D vs The Naturals w/Shane Douglas (Tables Match)
Thankfully only 3 minutes and most of it as a brawl around ringside, and it's good because the Nats take stupid bumps for these fat old goons. A table is bought in and Shane saves his boys and gets put through with a 3D. The Nats attack from behind and lay Bubba out with a 3D, and then put D-Von through a table with a double chokeslam to win.

Abyss and Mitchell hype video.

EY comes through the crowd and says he thinks the sniper is gone so now he can talk. Some new music hits and Maverick Matt, Kaz and Devine all come out dressed in the worst emo getup you've ever seen. Kaz says they're looking at the new genesis of the new movement of TNA and their great redeemer has taught them it's about sacrifice and not wins or loses. The new movement has begun and it's being headed by their new leader. More awful music hits and "VOODOO KIN MAFIA" flashes on the screen. BG and Kip come out with chairs and easily beat the shit out of these three nerds. BG gets the mic and we've reached the lowest point of Russo's return. I've found the entire transcript on Cagematch, so here you go.

BG James: "We're ba-ack Oh you're damn right: We're back, Jack, and we're back in black. You see, we're back for one reason and one reason alone. And in the business we call that reason 'creative control'. Now what creative control means, is that now the Voodoo Kin Mafia or VKM for short now not only has the ability, you see now, we have have the permission to do anything we damn well please.

So then, let our first order of business be said. VKM is declaring WAR! We're declaring war on you, Paul Levesque! We're declaring war on you, Michael Hickenbottom! But most importantly, we're declaring war on you, Vincent K. McMahon!"

Kip James: "Now, being thee brought up, Triple Hollywood and Shawn Kiss-my-Bottom: You see, eight years ago, they started a group and said we were good enough to be in it. But then again, we bailed em out - like always. Now present day, they bring back that same entity and it's sinking faster than the Titanic. The reason why? WE'RE GOOD, THEY'RE NOT! [DX sucks Chants] The bottom line is, you two are THE BIGGEST PIECES OF

BG James: "Hold up, wait... who-hoo... stand right there! You might have had just your mic privileges revoked. You're stayin' right there, you got my voice crackin' like I'm going to purity... The fact this is somehow going to get even worse is actually quite remarkable.

Hype for Cage/Rhino.

We go back to the trial in the bathroom. Kev says he's going back to his chambers and coming back with a verdict. He goes in and spits and hocks up a loogie.

In the back, Rhino yells and screams that he will never forget what Cage has said and done to him, and each shot will be for those. When Cage begs him for his life, he will cut him in half with the GORE.

Match#3 Christian Cage vs Rhino (Barbed-Wire Cage Match)
Rhino won the straightjacket, and Cage won chairs and blotcutters. Be nice if TNA had bothered to explain that. Awesome hate filled attack from Rhino to start as he batters his old pal and sends him all over the cage, and we get some killer Christian bumps. Rhino busts him open with the steel, and then gets the keys and throws them over the top so they have to climb out. Cage's blade job is SUPER fucking gross and adds a ton to it as it gets worse and worse, and Rhino skins his head off the wire, and then kills him with a backdrop off of it.. Cage keeps trying to cut him off and run away, but Rhino refuses to die. They fight back on top, AND CAGE HITS THE FUCKING UNPRETTIER AND SENDS RHINO FACE FIRST INTO THE MAT. JESUS. Christian gets him in the jacket and ties him to the ropes and gets the chairs and goes for the kill, but Rhino punts him in the dick and gets free. Rhino beats his ass in revenge. He hits a TKO onto a set up chair to crush Cage's ribs into it. RHINO MURDERS HIM WITH A GORE BUT IT SENDS CAGE THROUGH THE DOOR TO THE FLOOR AND HE WINS. FUCK YEAH. Perfect bullshit finish on top of Cage's bump being insane.

X-Division hype video.

Match#4 AJ Styles (c) vs Christopher Daniels vs Chris Sabin (NWA-TNA X-Division Championship)
WHAT THE HELL???? Only 6 minutes as this should be happening on the PPV in a week, but TNA is going to TNA. STILL, rad a fuck as it's a manic sprint between them as they go for broke and break out every cool thing they can possibly think of. AJ and Daniels fight without hesitation, and it's a blast watching them go at it once more. Sabin comes into his own as a heel during this as he goes on a sick, sick run of offence with springboard kicks and wild counters, and looks like the best dude in the match. He keeps on them and drops them with bombs and gets near falls on both. AJ uses the tower of doom to finally stop them, but Christian crawls down the ramp bloody and dying. He gets the mic and says he's the real #1 contender, AND AJ DROPKICKS HIM OFF THE APRON AND KICKS THE SHIT OUT OF HIM. Back in the ring, Daniels counters the Shock into a cradle to win the title.

Post match, AJ and Daniels argue about it as Tenay shouts this is all Cage's fault.



We find LAX and Petey in a park with the flag, Konnan says this is for everything America has done to them, and he wants Petey to do it. They pour gas on it and give him a blow torch. He says this flag represents everything wrong with it, but it also represents opportunity and he had a dream when he got here and they let him do it. HE THROWS THE TORCH AND SAYS OVER HIS DEAD BODY. LAX jump him and kick the crap out of him, and Konnan says they're going to burn him along with it. They pour gas on Petey, but the Cops show up and save his life. Amazing angle.

Match#5 Kurt Angle vs Abyss w/James Mitchell
This is such a Russo thing to run given what each man is doing at the PPV, and how it makes no sense at all. Just messing with things for the sake of messing with things, bro. Kurt doesn't look healthy at all as he's skinny and far less muscular than he was a few months ago in WWE. In saying that, he still hits really hard and gives the big man a fight, it's just a sad thing to see given where we know it goes. Tenay announces both Cage vs AJ & Sabin vs Daniels for the PPV. Kurt attacks the knee and does fun work on it, and Abyss' selling is good for a dude whose never been asked to do it much. Mitchell dumps a wheelbarrow of tacks at ringside for some bullshit. They fight on the outside and tease going into the tacks, but neither does in a real coward move. Abyss takes over and his control is mostly fine, but Kurt again doesn't look amazing and i hope its rust and not signs of serious problems that will drive me and the reader insane. Kurt makes a comeback and it's good as he suplexes the hell out of him onto his skull. He locks in the Ankle Lock and TNA makes NO effort to do the right thing and protect him, and instead they make Abyss tap out. LOLTNA.

Post match, Joe attacks Kurt and we get another awesome brawl. Joe smacks him in the face with a chair. Yeah give him some much needed CTE. Abyss gets back up and goes nose to nose with Joe, and they agree to attack Kurt together. They beat him down, but Sting comes down from the rafters and fights Abyss like he's fighting him for the world title or something. Sting easily kicks his ass with the bat and beats him all the way up the ramp like a big old bitch. Back in the ring, Joe locks in the Ankle Lock on a dead Kurt.

In the back, Abyss now has Sting tied upside down and kills him with a series of bat shots. Joe chokes a now bloody Angle out to close the show.

What a jarring show.

We go back to the ring where Kaz and Matt lead a blindfolded Devine back to the ring with kendo sticks in hand. Raven makes his return in a sweet all white suit and a new mask, and DW says he must be the redeemer of the group. Raven hits him over the back with the stick and rips Devine's back open with each shot. He walks out on them after.

In the back, Shane Douglas and the Nats talk about taking out 3D in their own world, and will now go all the way back to the tag titles.

Match#2 The Naturals w/Shane Douglas vs Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt w/Jerry Lynn
Sick opening minutes as the Nats jump them and talk a world of shit, so the faces fight back and kill them with dives and speed. The Nats take some great bumps and have to cheat to get back into it. Chase boots Jay in the dick to isolate him, and the boys go to work with a very good control seg beating the shit out of him. Jay takes some wild bumps and sells his ass off, and really helps them out as a result. Dutt gets the hot tag and goes crazy on them pinballing them around. it all breaks down as it tends to, and The Nats beat Dutt with a Doomsday Powerbomb/dropkick combo.

In the back, JB is with LAX. Konnan rips Canada being a horrible country sending troops to die in an American made war, and Petey can go to hell. They will burn the flag and anyone who tries to stop them from doing it. The level of violence will be on another level. JB says Cornette is here watching them, and Konnan says screw him he can't make them do anything because he's an old white boy. 5150 bddddddddt.

Hype video for Daniels/Sabin.

In the back, Daniels says AJ is his best friend and he cares about him, but this title is what matters. AJ has his own issues at the minute, but it's not about that. Sabin thinks he can act like a child and get what he wants, well he and AJ built this division and he's going to teach him a lesson and get his respect.

Match#3 Christopher Daniels (c) vs Chris Sabin (NWA-TNA X-Division Championship)
Sabin is now a little shithead trying to claw at Daniels eyes and slapping Daniels when he does a kip up, and then plays to the crowd who now hates him. He pokes him in the eyes again, so Daniels schools him on the mat and makes him look the fool. Wonderful vet work as he breaks out cool shit and slaps him back to teach him some damn respect. Sabin bumps his ass off and is now a wonderful little bumping stooge. Daniels gets sent on the apron and pops his head through, AND SABIN DROPKICKS RIGHT IN THE FACE TO SEND HIM TO THE FLOOR TO TAKE OVER. Hell yeah. Sabin takes over and whips his ass along with doing nerve holds and being a little dickhead on top of it. Daniels selling rocks a ton as he's both hurt and being humiliated at the same time. Sabin keeps beating his ass for a while, and goes for a chair, but AJ comes out and steals it away! Sabin is distracted, and Daniels dives off the post and crushes him on the floor. He makes his comeback and wreaks the kid with classic Daniels offence all fired up and pissed off, and Sabin eats nothing but shit for all of it. The final run hits and it's wonderful as both go for broke and we get a ton of close calls. Daniels catches him coming off the ropes with the DVD and hits the BME, and Sabin somehow kicks out. Daniels goes for the Wings, but Sabin dragon-screws the leg to hurt him. He goes for the kill but Daniels is able to surivive it all, and he counters the Cradle Shock into a rollup holding the neck to pull the win out of his ass.

Post match, Sabin tries to attack him with a chair, but Jerry Lynn steals it away. He gets in his face and screams he needs to show respect for Daniels. Sabin backs off and offers his hand, and Daniels takes it. SABIN RAISES HIS ARM AND TURNS HIM INTO THE CRADLE SHOCK AND DROPS HIM DEAD AND WALKS OFF LAUGHING AS LYNN YELLS AT HIM.

In the back, Nash is with Shelley and Starr. Nash says he's got a bad feeling about this and they need a win, and he needs them to give him 90%. Starr says he can maybe do 70% out there. Nash asks Alex if he's over wrestlers court, and Alex says he is for now. Starr says he never got his 100 bucks, and Shelley tells him the cheque is in the mail and he needs to check his box, Aries shouts he needs to check his box. Kev says to follow his lead and they can have careers like incredible stars he's been part of. They drop some jobber names like Porkchop Cash. Lazertron, George South, Nelson Royal, George Scott, Italian Stallion, Reno Riggins. They could go on forever, but they need a win at all costs. He makes them put their hands in and says they're going to win this for Bo Derek.

Kevin Nash joins the booth and says he's proud of Chris Sabin.

Match#4 Alex Shelley & Austin Starr vs Lance Hoyt & Ron Killings
Kev has his arm in a sling and says he was defending his X-Division title in the Budokan when he hit a 350 reverse black tiger and landed on the floor, but he still won. AMAZING. DW says he knows what really happened, and Nash admits it happened in the Tet Offensive.Starr and Shelley make for a hell of a fucking team as we know, and it's killer watching them be little coward dicks on top of being smooth and amazing as hell on offence. They isolate the big man and wreak his knee for a time, and Hoyt's selling is quite good to his credit. But the real highlight is watching GenNext get to kill it again on PPV as they deserve. Just a fantastic control seg with two of the best doing their thing smooth and cool as possible. Truth makes the hot tag and is a house of fire lighting the kids up. Things break down and Starr goes to get the camera when Shelley asks him, and Hoyt rolls Shelley up to win as he's distracted talking to Starr.

Post match, the heels yell at each other as Nash tries to keep the peace.

In the back, Cage says he doesn't make mistakes or overlook anyone as an unbeaten man in TNA. AJ jumped him on the pre show like a coward, but he does his work like a man. He's created a victims list and AJ is the newest man on it, and he's in great company with JJ, Rhino, Abyss and Sting. He's just one of many and he's about to find out why he's the best in TNA. Whoever wins the world title he wants them to know he's waiting for them, and he's taking the title.

Hype for AJ/Cage

Match#5 AJ Styles vs Christian Cage
Ahhhhhhh! Great feeling out to start with both fighting for control and making it feel like a proper chess match between two of the absolute best in the world. Cage slaps him off a break, and AJ slaps back and owns him for a minute or so, but for once he doesn't lose his cool and is able to move ahead and beat him up a little. They counter each other's finishers and keep trading momentum, and it;'s a fantastic thing to watch unfold. AJ FINALLY HAS ENOUGH AND HITS THE SUMMERSAULT DIVE, BUT HE CATCHES HIS LEGS ON THE RAIL AND HURTS HIMSELF. He tries to fight through it, but Cage pulls him down and smacks his knee off the apron and rams him into the rails to take over. Awesome shithead control seg as Cage works the body and grinds him down, but also gets dirty and petty as he always does because he's an asshole. Cage's cutoffs are sick as he drops AJ with a nasty lariat and beats the crap out of him worse and worse each time. AJ's selling and bumping are the best as he eats everything with full force. He finally mounts a comeback and batters him all over the place and he breaks out dat dropkick to hurt him even more. Finishing run is awesome and smooth as hell as they escalate everything so well. Cage catches him off the ropes with a gross Liger Bomb and gets a chair, but Daniels runs down and has a tug of war with it. AJ goes for a sunset flip, but CAGE PUSHES BACK ON THE CHAIR AND SITS DOWN ON HIS SHOULDERS AND GETS THE 3. SON OF A BITCH.

Post match, AJ is PISSED and yells at Daniels for what happened. He shoves Daniels in the face, and wrestlers come down and try to calm it down. Rhino runs down now and gets the mic and says he's going to handle this. He says he normally stays out of people's business but this makes him sick. He battled his former friend and they almost killed each other last week, and it all started out like this and he can't let it end like this. He demands they shake hands like men. AJ grabs the mic and sarcastically thanks him as he calls him DR Phill. He storms off on both of them as everyone is in shock.

Russo turning AJ heel is a tale as old as time.

Hype for LAX/AMW

Match#6 LAX (c) w/Konnan vs America's Most Wanted w/Gail Kim (NWA-TNA World Tag Team Championships)
AMW jump them before the bell and kick the shit out of them, and MY GOD HAVE I MISSED BABYFACE AMW. Just different animals with so much fire and anger on display. They hurl Ci around and throw him into the big man, and it's good times. Tenay mentions that Harris has a broken left hand, and LAX are able to attack it and isolate him. Good control seg as always, and Harris is again a killer FIP, but it's a touch too short to really reach that next level of greatness. Storm gets the hot tag and whips ass for a minute or so, then they jump into the finishing run without bothering to set it up. STILL, good stuff from everyone as they have some good near falls, and bullshit Konnan moments. AMW kill the big man with the Death Sentence, but Konnan pulls the ref away and Ci hits Storm in the back of the head with the blow torch to steal it.

Post match, LAX beat them down and go to murder Gail, but Petey makes the save with a pipe and holds the ring. Jim Cornette now comes down as promised and says this gringo white boy has something to say. He says they're guilty of bad taste and being bitter, and the fans don't like it. He brings up the vets who defended the country and flag they want to burn, so he's stripping them of the titles. GET FUCKED. He says they've got till Impact to give up the titles, or they're fired. How is that fair???????? Russo, you suck.

In the lair, Mitchell wonders why Sting is afraid of the dark when he was at his best eating and living his darkest vices. He can't stand that they never went away despite finding God, and he looks into Abyss and sees his own inner darkness. He will find inner freedom and thank Abyss for it.

Hype for Sting/Abyss. Very funny considering it's had zero build.

Match#7 Sting (c) vs Abyss w/James Mitchell (NWA-TNA Worlds Heavyweight Championship)
They get right to it and have a goshdarn Impact Zone brawl, and somewhere JJ is a happy man. It's actually pretty fun as Abyss is a madman willing to take gross headshots into walls and stairs, and Sting is all fired up and kicks the crap out of him as only Stinger can. Abyss sets up barbed wire tables and goes for it, but Mitchell gets him to back off in fear of a DQ. They fight back in the ring where Abyss takes over in a decent control seg. Not breaking any new ground or anything, just a good monster killing for a while. Abyss keeps cutting him off and kicking his ass, but he wants to use plunder and Mitchell keeps having to stop him from doing it. The ref gets bumped so they can finally use some bullshit plunda like tacks, bats and title, and it's good classic trash Russo nonsense. Abyss slams him on the tacks, and Sting hulks up and reigns down hell on him with the tacks sticking out of his now bloody back. He puts him in the Deathlock, and then kills Mitchell with one as well. They fight on the outside where Sting ties Abyss in a cable and hangs him upside down and beats him with a chair across the back. He lets him down and drags him up the ramp where the tables are, AND STING ATTACKS THE REF AND GETS DQ AND SHOVES ABYSS THROUGH THE WIRE TABLES FOR THE HELL OF IT.

Mitchell gloats with the title over a dead Abyss stuck in the wires. AMAZING

Hype for Joe/Angle.

JB does the intros for the big fight feel.

Match#8 Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle
Wonderful battle for control right away on the mat with Kurt being fast and smooth, and Joe is there every step of the way in ways Kurt maybe never thought he would be. Joe breaks fight throwing nasty strikes, so Kurt hits a wicked Belly to belly to send him on the head and lariats over the ropes. JOE SNAPS AND DRAGS HIM OUT AND SLAMS HIS HEAD INTO THE RAIL. FUCK YEAH. Kurt tries to power through, but Joe shuts him down and kills him with the elbow suicda to send him back into the rails. Joe hurls him into the steps and kicks the dog shit out of him as he's now bleeding and dead, and Joe attacks like only he can. He headbutts him and the blood smears on Joe's face for an all time image. Joe wreaks him in so many cool ways, and Kurt sells his ass off while still trying to fight back, but gets killed each time for his troubles. Joe sets him up for the Buster, but Kurt slaps the fuck out of him and hits a sick tornado DDT to finally stop him. He finally goes insane and kills him with three wicked German's, the last of which sends Joe onto his face. JOE ARM DRAGS OUT OF THE SLAM AND KILLS HIM WITH A KNEE TO THE HEAD AND THEN A KICK TO THE FACE AND HITS THE MUSCLE BUSTER AND KURT KICKS OUT ON 2.9. HOLY SHIT. Kurt counters Joe and hits the Angle Slam for a near fall. He locks in the Angle Lock, but Joe drags him down into the Choke for a good 30 seconds and nearly has it, but Kurt is able to grab the foot once more and locks it back in, but Joe sends him into the buckles. Joe misses a charge and hits the post, and Kurt hits the Slam and locks it back in with the Grapvine AND AFTER 18 MONTHS JOE FINALLY TAPS AND LOSES A MATCH.

Post match, Joe gets the mic and screams for Kurt. The fans chant he tapped, and he says you're goddamn right he did because he can recognise when a man is better than he is. in saying that, he wants a rematch, He offers his hand, and Kurt fakes it and blows him off and walks out. JOE IS FUCKING PISSED. Kurt celebrates on the ramp, and Joe says they're going to do this the hard way.

Hell of a match and a hell of a way to end the streak. Sadly, TNA's follow up is going to be awful for the most part, but i'm here for all of it.

The NEWWWWWWWWWW Worlds champion Abyss and Mitchell make their way out to the ring, and he looks awesome as hell with the title and James by his side.

James gets the mic and calls himself a proud father standing here with his monster Abyss. He says he tried to tell Sting to laugh and not cry because he's crying right now. He proved he's not different than them. Sting got into wrestling for all the pleasures it provides him, and he can't put that apple back on the tree ever again. He walked back down the path of hell on Sunday, and he can walk down and here and they'll meet him with open arms. Sting's music hits and a fake Sting in a mask runs down and scares Abyss off. He takes the mask off and it's Christian!! He asks if he needs to dress up like a complete moron to get his title shot. He's not waiting for Sting to have a rematch at the next PPV, and he's doing this himself. He wonders what would happen if Sting can't make it to Turning Point. The real Sting now comes down from the rafters, and says he's going to walk right through him because he's in a bad mood tonight. He chases him off with the bat. Cage says he couldn't care less about anyone as he only cares about himself, and he wants a #1 contenders match tonight. Sting screams its Shoooooowwwwwwwtime.

AJ and Daniels make their way out for their match, and DW says this will be the last time they team together. BOOOOOOO

In the back, Kurt Angle arrives.

We get a promo from Kaz, Matt and Devine with Raven speaking over the top. He talks a lot about violence and helping others.

Match#1 AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs The Naturals w/Shane Douglas
JIP because we needed that crap. Nats are in control on Daniels and it's fine Nats work as always, and Daniels takes a beating for them and i've missed FIP Daniels in tag matches. AJ gets the hot tag and for the last time lights these dweebs up, and Daniels joins in kicking some ass. They win with the BME/Frog Splash combo.

Post match they high five and all is well, but Rhino comes down to talk, so AJ jumps right out of the ring. He screams at Daniels that this is crap and he's done with them.

EY shows up in a turkey suit and runs around the Zone.

A HORRRRRRRRIBLE VKM video airs with them going to Stanford to demand they stop or they'll be sued.

In the ring, Cornette brings out Petey Williams. He has the US flag with him and Corny thanks him for doing the right thing. Petey says he's had his problems with America and the fans, but he couldn't let it happen and he's proud to have help. He hangs the flag up as the fans chant USA and play the anthem. LAX come out though the border and get in the ring. Konnan has a lawyer with them and they serve Corny with papers as he violated their rights. Petey tries to fight them, but LAX easily murder him and bury him in the flag. They go after Corny, but AMW make the save and we get another wild brawl. LAX get the best of it because of the numbers, BUT KURT ANGLE RUNS OUT AND CLEANS HOUSE WITH GERMANS ON LAX. HOLY SHIT YEAH.

Joe's music now hits, and Kurt asks everyone to leave. We come back with Joe talking about losing to Kurt after 18 months of being the man, and he knew he would see a better man getting their hand raised and he's not scared to admit that. He asks for a rematch again and wants to know his answer. Kurt gets the mic and says he can have it if he swears to have his back until the PPV, as he's going to have his back. Joe smiles and nods, and i guess it's on.

VKM are doing more awful things.

Back in the Zone, Robert Roode is yelling at EY for dressing up like an idiot and beating him on the pre show last week. He wants him in the ring right now.

Match#2 Robert Roode w/Ms Brooks vs Eric Young
EY wrestles in the suit, so Roode kicks the shit out of him in anger about it. Good work from Bobby as he's coming into his own as a singles heel, and EY is the perfect punching bag to make him look even better. EY counters the piledriver into a rollup to steal it.

-Nash says there will be tests and he knows one of them is using steroids, and Dutt says he's not peeing in no cup
-He makes them all join hands, and Senshi refuses and just sits down and shakes his head

Match#3 Christian Cage vs Sting (#1 Contenders Match)
Sting jumps him before the bell like a coward, and kicks his teeth in and it's great shit as always. They fight in the crowd for some classic Jeff Jarrett tribute work, and it's fun times. We come back from break where Cage is in control beating Sting's face in. Short but good work on the old man we get some shithead heel antics along with his wonderful offence. Sting fires up and whips some ass in Stinger fashion. The ref gets killed when Cage pulls him in front of the Splash. Sting locks in the Deathlock but the ref is dead, AND TYSON TOMKO COMES THROUGH THE CROWD AND KILLS STING. FUCK YEAH HE SOLVED A PROBLEM ONCE MORE.

Christian & Tomko make their way out to the ring, and i love this fucking duo so goddamn much, The fact WWE or TNA didn't even give them a tag title run is a massive missed chance. Cage formally introduces Tomko as the only man he trusts, a killer and a problem solver. Cage says TNA wants to put him in a three way at Turning Point, so he's going to put the screws to them because he's unbeaten and he's that damn good. He's going to take them both out tonight. He says Tomko and Abyss know each real well, and he should come out and reunite. Abyss and Sting both come out and chase them off. Sting gets the mic and says he wants to speak to Abyss man to man and alone tonight.

More VKM shit. I am not covering any of this until the horrible million dollar challenge where i have no choice.

in the back, LAX have jumped Storm and left him a bloody mess.

Daniels joins commentary. Harris runs out and says LAX don't need to look for him because he's now looking for them.

IN THE BACK, LAX ARE ATTACKING HARRIS. THEY TIE HIM TO A STAIRCASE AND WALK OFF.

We go to a pre-tape with AJ and Mike. AJ says they'll get over it and friends fight, maybe if Mike had some he'd know that. He feels like Rhino wants something from him and no one comes around him unless they want something, and he doesn't like it. They talk about AJ growing up poor in a trailer and having nothing, and no one knows anything about him. He was a kid sick at home by himself. He doesn't need anyone's help then and he doesn't need it now. He only wants to talk wrestling and nothing else. Rhino walks on, which proves AJ's point tbf. Rhino says he's trying to help him because he doesn't want him to go through what he went through. He knows about growing up poor and doing things that could have landed him in jail, and he doesn't want AJ to go through that. AJ loses it again and says the next time Rhino gets in his way there's going to be trouble.

It's now time for drug testing for the X-Division.
-Shelley walks out with a massive cup full of piss, and Alex says it's thankfully not a prostate issue. Nash says he lost his ring somewhere. DEAD
Nash says everyone's tests were perfect, except for Alex who has the clap.
-Nash tells Alex and Starr to make him proud and get that W.

Match#2 Alex Shelley & Austin Starr vs Ron Killings & Lance Hoyt
2 minutes and change because Russo is really on one tonight. Not much here sadly as it's much Hoyt and not enough cool shit. Shelley and Aries fight over whose going to win, and Shelley shoves Starr to the floor! Alex pins Hoyt with a rollup with the tights.

In the back, Ms Brooks asks EY if he accepts her challenge, or he's fired. She walks off, and the new interviewer asks what the challenge is, and he says a bikini contest. This is the start of his weight loss journey,

Sting comes out to the ring and sets up a chair and calls for Abyss. The big man comes out alone as promised. Sting talks about a man having his own will and wonders what Abyss' is. He's watched him climb the ladder for the last 4 years scratch, claw and go through tacks and wires all to become the worlds champion. He doesn't know anything about his past, but he's a bonafide champion and that's what matters. However, he lets Mitchell lead him around like a puppy and he doesn't get it. is looking for someone to lead him out of the darkness, or he does he want to be his own champion and man. He then calls him CHRIS and the crowd gasps, and i got a baaaaaad feeling. Mitchell now shows up on the screen and says Sting is wasiing his time with his animal. When he let loose with his rage he proved he's the same as Abyss, and he needs to save his own soul. Abyss stands up as Sting says he needs to start worrying about himself and make his own choices.

Sting leaves the scene, and Cage and Tomko jump Abyss from behind and leave him laying. Sting runs back and scares them off. Sting offers his hand to the big man, but Mitchell runs down and slaps Sting and gets Abyss out of there.

That wasn't good at all, and i don't even want to think about how bad this will get.

In the back, LAX jump Petey during his interview and leave him laying. Konnan asks how is Kurt going to go all by himself.

Match#3 LAX (c) w/Konnan vs Kurt Angle (NWA-TNA World Tag Team Championships)
Kurt smartly goes to the mat to have a chance against the big guy, and he guides him through some fun stuff as Hernandez shows he's can do a lot more than you might suspect. Ci gets in and is a mad houser of fire and bumps like nuts for Kurt. Hernandez sneaks in and chop blocks Kurt, and LAX go to work with a short but fun control seg. NEVERMIND THAT SHIT, SAMOA JOE COMES DOWN STANDS IN THE CORNER AND MAKES THE TAG. He murders them both in amazing, amazing fashion, AND HE CHOKES CI OUT AS KURT MAKES HERNANDEZ TAP. WOOOOO WE'VE GOT NEW CHAMPS

Wonderful 2 minute squash for Ki. I assume he sees Warrior in there and is killing him for Jim Hellwig. Ms Brooks comes out and flashes EY in a classic Russo moment, and Ki hits the Warriors Way to win.

In the back, Konnan says AMW have something they want in the Mexican Flag, and they have the American one, and they're challenging them to a Flag match for Turning Point.

In the ring, Cornette makes the flag match offical. Christian and Tomko come out now, and Corny says none of this involves them. Cage says Jim is too busy stoping people from using their 1st amendment rights. He doesn't know how his hiring policies work as he's been doing background checks on them and they passed as they're fine upstanding humans, unlike Abyss. He's done something that would make his stomach turn. Let him tell you a story about a little boy, Abyss runs down and kills them both. I guess he's now a face, though that hasn't been established. We now go to a pre-tape with Kurt Angle. He speaks about losing to a Iranian wrestler 12 years ago and he thought he would never face him again, but he got his chance in 96 and he got redemption and won the gold medal. After he beat Joe, he realised he deserved a second chance because he's special. Joe says for 18 months he was the man, but that ended, but he's still git a fight in him. He knows about Kurt's neck and he showed no remorse about, but Kurt perceived and showed no fear and beat him. Kurt says he's never been pushed to those limits before, and he felt relief when the match ended, not happiness. Kurt calls him a desperate angry man who has to hurt people to be himself again. Joe says he's not longer carrying the burden of 18 months on his back and he's free. Kurt says he might need to look his daughter in the eye and tell her daddy's a cripple now. AMAZING. Joe is ready for war.

This is the best and coolest thing TNA has left.

AJ jumps Rhino during his intro and they have another great pull apart. Heel AJ is a bad idea given where TNA is going, but he's so good he can just make the bullshit work.

Yes, this is what TNA is selling the match as, so it's not me making a terrible lame joke that i normally do. Also, it now hits me that this is TNA giving away it's co main events instead of running a 3 vs 2 handicap match to least save the mystery of it. Russo is a toolbox. In saying that, Kurt and Cage fight for the first time in years and it's really fucking great as Kurt hurls the little prick around, and Cage bumps like crazy for him. Abyss attacks Kurt from behind to isolate him, and Joe keeps his promise and fights the monster to keep Kurt safe. It all breaks down and everyone goes nuts as these things tend to end up. Kurt and Joe are left alone, AND KURT HITS THE ANGLE SLAM AND PINS JOE. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT THE FUCK???/ ARE YOU SMOKING CRACK NOW, VINCE. WHY IN THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT, YOU STUPID CUNT.

Match#1 Alex Shelley vs. Austin Starr vs. Senshi vs. Jay Lethal vs. Sonjay Dutt (Elimination Match)
Mike explains that there will be a competition every week with a point system to see who the best X-Division star is. This is 15 minutes as Russo gets out of the way and lets them actually wrestle in a wild idea. Killer feeling out between everyone as you'd expect it, super smooth and fun and what it needs and should be. Shelley and Starr work together and wreak shop on Dutt. SHELLY DROPS DUTT ON THE ROPES AND DRAGS HIM DICK FIRST ACROSS AND DW SHOUTS HE'S GOT ROPE BURN. AMAZING. The others get some shine as well, but GenNext are the real highlights. Shelley makes Aries do all the work and then gets Dutt alone. Really fun back and forth for a few minutes, Shelley is placed in the Clutch and gets to the ropes, BUT ARIES DRAGS HIM BACK TO THE MIDDLE AND ALEX TAPS OUT. Jay goes on a run, but Ki catches him with the John Woo to get rid of him. Ki keeps ip up and lays waste to Dutt for being alive, and Starr joins on the fun. Aries kills Dutt with the Brainbuster/450 to beat him, and Nash shouts it like watching himself out there. Final few minutes is rad as hell as they beat the shit out of each, and break out some new counters for old tricks. Shelley comes out and distracts Aries, and he runs into a prawn hold from Ki to lose.

It is time for the Eric Young/Tracy bikini contest. Tracy is in something skimpy, and Eric is wearing a t-shirt. He takes it off to reveal Spongebob boxers. They threaten to DQ him, so Eric reveals a hideous bikini bottom, and the fans judge Eric the winner. He leaves to celebrate, and Roode orders Ms. Brooks to sign Eric to Robert Roode Inc. for some reason.

The new announcer finds a locker room marked "Michael Hickenbottom & Paul Levesque", and goes in, but Fat Naked Oily Guy is there and dances on her.

Match#2 Christopher Daniels (c) vs Chris Sabin (NWA-TNA X-Division Championship- Special Guest Referee-Jerry Lynn)
Sabin grabs Chris's ear off a sideheadlock and yanks at it in a sick idea that i don't think i've seen before. Daniels fights back in anger and slams his head off the mat like a basketball, and kicks his head in. Sabin stomps on his feet and dropkicks him in the back of the head to take over, and lets out this amazing smile. He hiptosses him on the ramp and runs all the way up and back down just to drop a fist drop. Fantastic control seg as he targets the head and neck and mauls him, and Daniels selling is killer. Sabin uses the ropes to hurt the neck even more, and Lynn is a bad ref and doesn't even give him a 5 count to keep it up. Daniels hits a flash STO to finally sop him and comes back tired hurt and all pissed off, and Sabin bumps his soul out for him. DANIELS HITS A STUNNING ELBOW DROP TO SABIN ON THE FLOOR TO KILL HIM, BUT HE MESSES HIS INJURED HIP EVEN MORE. Sabin swarms him and goes on the attack and hot shots him against the ropes and attacks the neck with a Tornado DDT, but Daniels fights back and hits the DVD to hurt him as well. Sabin fights out of the Koji Clutch and swarms him once more, but Daniels knocks him off the ropes and hits the BME to pull the win out of nowhere.

Post match, Jerry refuses to give Daniels the title, and instead gets the mic and asks Sabin to be a man and shake Daniels hand. Daniels gets in Lynn's face about it, so Lynn slaps him like a bitch and walks off. Ewwwwww

Jim Cornette walks out for some mic time that we don't need at all. He brings out those goofy fucking baseball players again to praise them for winning something, but like who gives a fucking shit???????????? They argue amongst themselves and the crowd shits all over it, which is very good for the TNA fans to actually show some goddamn heart. Lance Hoyt makes the save and kills Dale Torborg to set up a match that might actually kill me.

Hype for AJ/Rhino.

In the back, Rhino cries about AJ not wanting people to help him, and AJ thankfully jumps him and kicks the fuck out of him. The camera dies, so Tenay has to cover until it comes back on to them fighting in the back. AJ GETS DUMPED ON HIS FACE OFF A SUPLEX AND TAKES A HEADER INTO THE CONCRETE. They brawl into the crowd and AJ keeps it up like a fucking insane person and takes more and more gross bumps onto everything in sight. AJ fights back and clobbers him with the amazing right hands and beats his head in, and heel AJ is incredible in spite of TNA being the worst. AJ rakes his eyes and throws him through a wall and Rhino crumbles when he lands. They fight near the rails, AND RHINO BACKDROPS AJ OVER THEM AND AJ TAKES A FLATBACK RIGHT ON THE FUCKING RAMP. JESUS CHRIST, MAN. They finally get in the ring and the bell rings.

Match#3 AJ Styles vs Rhino
AJ is all fucked up as a result, but he's able to attack Rhino's back by throwing him against the buckles and beats him down, and it's a tremendous display of everything that makes AJ the best. AJ breaks out the dropkick to smash Rhino's face in, and then shoves him out of the ring to send him onto the apron. AJ refuses to do a dive to piss the fans off, and instead demands a countout win, Rhino drags him outside and kills him with another nasty Belly to belly to the floor that sends AJ right into the ground. They slowly fight back in the ring and the selling of both is great times, THEN AJ TAKES ANOTHER FUCKING BACKDROP OVER THE ROPES AND LANDS FACE FIRST INTO THE RAILS. WHAT THE FUCK MAN. He signals his knee is badly hurt, so the ref checks on him and brings out trainers and whatnot. He can't stand and keeps falling down as people help him up. The ref goes to call it, BUT AJ SLIDES IN AND ROLLS RHINO UP WITH THE TIGHTS TO STEAL THE WIN. AMAZING. HOLY SHIT.

Russo throws in you have to hang the title via a ladder because he can't help himself. HUUUUUGE ass brawl to start with all the hate and anger that this feud has given us as they kick the living shit out of each other, and my goodness is it a great fucking watch. Storm cuts off Hernadez's dive with a nasty superkick, and Gail gets her revenge with a moonsault onto Ci. Konnan quickly turns the tide and LAX take over with a mean beating on our heroes, and it's so much better than last month as they get time to do it. Nasty work from the boys and AMW sell like death, and it's an actual crime this is the last time we'll see them on PPV. They use the ladder to murder them as well and the big man hurls them into with zero regard for their bodies, and bless him for it. Storm fights back and sunset flips Hernandez off the ladder to fuck him up, and Harris comes back to life, but Ci shuts him down with the Super Ace Crusher. Gal gets involved again and takes him out, and sets the ladder up. She gets the US Flag and goes to hang it, but Konnan attacks her and knocks out her with the slapjack. Goddamn it. Petey now makes the save, but he gets killed as well for his troubles. Ci and Harris both get their flags and go to hang them on top, AND STORM CLIMBS UP BEHIND CI AND HITS HIM IN THE HEAD WITH A BOTTLE BUT THE GLASS SHATTERS INTO HARRIS' EYES AND HE FALLS OFF THE LADDER. Hernandez grabs the flag and hangs it up to win.

Post match, Harris is holding onto his eye as Gaul checks on him, AND STORM SHOVES PETEY AND SCREAMS AT HARRIS. NOOOOOOO. Gail tries to explain, but Storm refuses to listen to reason and walks out.

Konnan gets the mic and says this is the first time ever that an American team has lost a Flag Match, and Mike says that might actually be true. Konnan demands DW and Mike stand up and respect the anthem, and Mike agrees only for his love of Mexico.

In the back, Storm screams that Harris quit and let them down like he always does. He's got until Impact to say sorry to him and all the Americans. OH NO.

Match#5 Abyss w/James Mitchell vs Sting vs Christian Cage w/Tomko (NWA-TNA Worlds Heavyweight Championship)
Stinger goes wild on these kids right away and takes them out with a classic old man dive and whips ALL the ass and then some. Tomko turns the tide and takes him out, so we get more Cage/Abyss for the first time in a long time, and it's very fun as always. Cage slips in an eye poke to take over and it's always funny watching the little dude beat up the big man, but Cage is amazing and makes it work without issue. Sting is back in and hits a tower of doom and turns back into a three way, and it's ok stuff, but something feels off, sadly. Tomko attacks again, so Abyss takes him out. Mitchell brings in the tacks, and Abyss argues with him as all of sudden he doesn't want to use them??????????? Russo jump starts every goddamn thing without a moment. Anyway, he tries to use them, but Tomko kicks him in the skull and curbstomps him into them. Abyss somehow comes back and fights them, and then the finish is a mess as Abyss sloppliy tries to BHS Sting and sends him into Cage, and then sort of drops him on the mat to win.

Match#6 Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle
Like the last time, they start with a chess match of control and we find that Joe is more than ready this time for anything Kurt's got. So he moves ahead with smash mouth style and drops him with ease, and now Kurt is left trying to figure it out as this big motherfucker cracks him. Kurt does it by hitting a dive over the ropes which isn't his normal thing, and he rams him head first into the steps like Joe did to him last month. Kurt stays on him and drops him again to gain control and stretches him on the mat for a while, and it's some classic Angle work. Kurt turns it into a fight for some reason with uppercuts and knees and rattles the big man. It rules, but it sort comes out of nowhere and its jarring. Joe fires back with a motherfucker of a release German to send Kurt flat on his face. Kurt comes back to life and trades German's of his own, and they turn it into a sick back and forth. Joe kicks out of the slam, but they save it by breaking new counters from the Angle Lock to the Choke as Joe spins him and drags him down by the legs to lock it in, and he turns Kurt bright purple. Kurt gets out, but Joe locks it in again, but Kurt somehow grabs the foot again and grapevines, but Joe won't die and pulls himself to the ropes. Kurt snaps and stomps on the ankle and fights him on top and breaks out the super arm drag for a near fall. Joe tackles Kurt and hits the ref by mistake. Joe gets the choke and the visual tap, but the ref is died. Joe checks on the ref, AND KURT KICKS HIM IN THE BALLS AND GOES AND GETS A CHAIR. HE MISSES THE SHOT AND HITS HIMSELF WHEN HE IT BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AND JOE DRAGS HIM DOWN INTO THE CHOKE AND KURT FIGHTS AND FIGHTS, BUT HE CAN'T GET OUT AND TAPS.

In the ring, Robert Roode says he's not a happy man, and therefore no is happy. He knows EY is here and he has a contract he will not be able to refuse. Kurt Angle thankfully comes out instead and screams for Bobby to get out of his ring, and like a big bitch he does just that. Kurt says he can't stop thinking about the Joe match and how he doesn't tap out. His career is now blemished as a result. He says he gave Joe a chance at a rematch, so he's telling him he wants the same thing from him. He wants him to look him in the eyes and give him his damn rematch. Joe pops up on the screen and says this is very funny as he heard Kurt say this would be their last match win lose or draw. He knows its because they both want the NWA title, and Kurt is now broken and they're done. Kurt is very sad.

Kurt walks over to the booth where DW is speaking and Kurt snaps on our boy and kills him with the Ankle Lock. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

We come back from break where DW is screaming in pain as Mike is calling the show like the worst best friend ever.

Match#1 Abyss w/James Mitchell vs Ron Killings
This gets 7 minutes. oh my. Truth gets unlocked for the first time in i don't know how long, and he brings the fight to the big man with killer strikes and that sick flip dive. We get a shot of Sting watching from the rafters, and i was hoping it was over despite knowing full well it's only just begun. Abyss fights back and throws him into the steps to take over, and he kicks the snout of him. He's conflicted at points to now listen to Mitchell, and at leas they're finally telling the story correctly. Truth is able to fight back because of it, and he goes nuts on Abyss with all that sweet offence, and Abyss sells it very well. Mitchell distracts Truth, and Abyss is able to hit the BHS to win.

In the back, Cage threatens the new ring announcer and demands his rematch against Abyss, or his little dirty secret becomes public knowledge.

EY walks on screen followed by Ms Brooks with the contact, but Kurt runs on and kicks the shit out of EY.

-Kev says they're using the Bob Backlund system
-Kev says Jay has to go first when Jay asks why, Kev deadpans "because you're black"
-Shelley says Bob is in his spirit when Jay says he's not even here.

Only 3 minutes. Petey is a good face as he's got some fire and meets Daniels at every turn, and our Angel is acting more dickish after the PPV. So it seems Russo broke them up so he could turn them both instead of just doing it as a duo. Overcomplicated shithead. Petey has a fun run of offence, but that little bastard Sabin tries to hit Daniels with the belt, but Lynn runs behind him and steals it. Daniels gets up and kicks Jerry in the face when he sees him, AND PETEY ROLLS HIM UP TO PIN THE CHAMP

Cornette gets in and tries to reason with him but Kurt is a proper lunatic and that's not happening. Jim says everyone wants the rematch, but Joe's contract states he can't be forced into a rematch if he doesn't want it. But tag matches aren't covered in it, so he's making a tag match between them next week. He thinks Kurt can convince him Olympic Style to change his mind. Kurt demands his word or his ass is his. Jim says he's staking his life on it.

In the back, AMW are there. Harris eye is covered and he says it was a horrible night for him, but nothing was worse than being questioned than Storm. They had a heart to heart they haven't had in a long time and they're a team united. Storm says he doesn't say sorry about anything, but they're the best team ever and the only way this ends is over his dead body.

For the last damn time, AMW kick off a brawl on the outside and unload everything good and perfect about pro ass wrestling with fire and love, and LAX get the dog shit kicked out of them as they damn well deserve. Harris only one has one eye so he's fucked, and LAX are able to take over him once it calms down. They beat the piss out of him in a killer control seg, and Harris is again a magnificent FIP. Storm gets in without tagging and belts the piss out of them as he''s had enough of it, andGail screams at him for it. Storm gets the bottle, AND SMASHES IT OVER HARRIS EYE. NO YOU FUCKING SON OF A BITCH. GODDAMN YOU, STORM. HE STARES DOWN GAIL AND WALKS OFF. Ci slides in and makes the pin and AMW are dead.

Hearbroken, sad and mad is what i am right. AMW are truly, truly special and have been the brightest spots in the darkest of storms. It sucks ALL the shit that Russo did this, and i can't ever be good with it even with Storm going on a wonderful run. Because #1, this now fucks an already bad tag division and #2 Chris Harris is about to eat a ton of the single most unnecessary and unwarranted shit Russo has ever dealt out. FUCK THIS

Cage and Tomko now come out to the ring for Abyss's answer. They call him stupid and whatnot, so Abyss comes out and kills Tomko. He wreaks Cage for a while, but Tomko gets back in and drops him with a lariat. Abyss fires back on them and cleans house. Abyss snaps and kills all the refs. Corny tries to help, but Abyss chokes him. Sting now shows up and somehow gets Abyss to attack Mitchell simply by pointing at him. HUUUUUUUH???????? Abyss lets him go and is all conflicted and sad.

In the back, Rhino screams he's had enough and Kurt needs to stay out of his way. Kurt walks on and says he tried to get Joe to do this the easy way, but he's going to give him every reason to give him his rematch.

Back in the ring, Raven canes Kaz a few times for being a massive fucking loser.

In the back, EY has a lamp with a leg attached to it. He makes gags before 3D walk on and ask him to leave. Bubba says the Nats will learn who they are. They've been in Japan for the last month and they haven't forgotten what they did to them. it will take 3 minutes to give them the receipt they deserve. Props to Bubba for telling us this trash will be short.

Match#2 Team 3D vs The Naturals w/Shane Douglas (Tables Match)
Bubba is actually a liar as this is two minutes and 5 seconds of nothing. 3D squash them like bugs and give them not a goddamn thing, and i would be more mad about it, but Russo has broken me for now. 3D's and a powerbomb through a table end it.

Brother Runt is back dressed as Santa throwing out gifts, and LAX come out to confront him because i guess Santa is a Gringo. Konnan talks about them being the best team in the world and dares any gringo to come out and stop them because they'll knock em down and dead. The Xmas tree he has is very small and broke and says it's a reminder of the childhood they had. He singles out Santa and says he never got his Miami Dolphin's jersey and Ci never got his roller skaters, so they got beef. He says they can all go to hell, and Santa gets in the ring and says they should be full of good will and nice and not naughty. He tells Konnan to shut his mouth and decks him, so LAX murder him and end him with the Border Toss that sends him right on his neck. All the babyfaces run down to save him. Not his asshole brothers however.

In the back, AJ blames Rhino for not walking away and now he's got to chop of his nose for sticking it in his business. Abyss and Sting come out to the ring for the love fest. Sting says he got potential to be a great world champion, but he needs to stop worrying about his past. HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT HIS PAST, MAYBE FUCKING TALK ABOUT IT. CHRIST. He asks for the rematch as Final Resolution and offers his hand, but Cage shows up on the screen and mocks them both. He stands up in front of a chain link fence and says this place must remind him of home, and he's here to gather facts before he finds the truth. Hell, you can call him a private dick. Abyss has something that belongs to him and he needs to do the right thing or else. He points at a watchtower and asks if that was that his room, and Mike assumes he was in jail. Or, maybe he had a cool fucking house, you judgmental jerk. Sting demands he shake his hand and change his life, but Abyss fights him and they brawl until it gets broken up. Tomko now comes out and screams at Abyss, and Cage sneaks in and attacks everyone with a nightstick. Mitchell gets Abyss out of the ring as the big man wants to help Sting, he gets free and swings Sting's bat at them and cleans house. Mitchell is pissed and even more so when Abyss hands the bat back to Sting. Sting leaves the scene as Mitchell yells at Abyss.

Match#3 AJ Styles & Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle & Rhino
3 minutes again. They at least get right to it and brawl all over the zone and both parings are rad as they kill each other and hold nothing back with stiff shots and gross strikes. Joe breaks out the headbutts to further damage Kurt's already bad brain, and AJ decks the hell out of Rhino. We come back from break where Kurt and AJ meet for the first time and it's magic. KURT HITS THE MOTHER OF GERMAN'S AND AJ LANDS RIGHT ON HIS FACE. JESUS MAN. He locks in the Angle Lock, but Joe saves with a kick to the back of the head. Joe fights Rhino some kore and it's a good monster battle. Joe locks in the choke, but Kurt hits the Angle slam to take him out. They roll out of the ring, and AJ schoolboys Rhino with the tights to steal another one.

Jim says it's awards night and he's going to win a bunch of them, so don;t mess this up. Kurt agrees not to mess it up, but he says he WILL get his rematch.

Tonight; Sting vs Cage vs Abyss in a Nightstick on a Pole. hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahah

Match#1 Chris Sabin & James Storm vs Christopher Daniels & Petey Willams
7 minutes as Russo is not messing with opening matches at the moment, thankfully. Storm is hated by everyone, and Daniels kicking his ass like it's 2004 with the roles reversed is a wild, but awesome sight. Sabin sneaks in behind and attacks him to take over, and it's good shit again, and i love this feud so much. Petey has a good hot tag and lights them up as he's now a tiny ball of fire. Also, him beating up Sabin as a good guy is a wild timeline, but it somehow works very well. Sabin tries to use a chair, but Lynn again stops him like a dad. Daniels dives onto both of them to kill them, Back in the ring, STORM MURDERS PETEY WITH THE CHAIR RIGHT TO THE SKULL AND STEALS IT. GOOD LORD.

Post match, Daniels goes after Sabin as Lynn tries to keep the peace, but Daniels shoves him. Lynn rips his shirt off and fights them both and kicks the shit out of both them. Fuck it, go wild.

We see clips of Joe on crutches being lead down some stairs by a pretty girl.

In the lair, Mitchell asks Abyss whose side he's on. Is the man who's trying to take his title and ruin his life. The man who he gave a freaking baseball bat back to so he could look stupid?? He can give him his nightstick across his head and ribs, or he's telling the world his secret. Cage and Tomko know the cause, but he knows the reason he will dig up the bodies for the world to see. He disgusts him.

In the back, Joe says he has no injury. Kurt can crank on it and crank on but he's never going to be broken. He will never give him his rematch as he wants his title shot. He went 18 months without ever getting that shot and he wants it. Kurt needs to realise he's moved on and get over it.

Team 3D come out and say the Nats are gone and never coming back, and VKM are feuding with VKM, so they want LAX. A very drunk Spike comes down to the ring and yells at them for not having his back last week. Bubba says they warned him months ago and he picked a fight with Abyss. Spike says he will not say sorry for not being a wimp or backing down from anyone. Bubba asks if he's drinking, and Spike pulls out a bottle and spits is in Bubba's face and attacks him. 3D beat the shit out of him and get the tables. LAX runs in now and attacks 3D, and the fat fucks actually fire up and care for once. Spike gets a chair and jits all the blackshirts with it, and then 3D join in and help him. They put Ci on a table and then powerbomb Spike through him.





In the back, Cage hits on the announcer and says Mitchell is right about Abyss's dirty little secret and he knows it as well. He also knows Abyss and Sting are working together to keep him out of the title scene, and he's an instant classic. If they try to turn this into a handicap match, he's got that problem solved.

In the back, Ms Brooks is trying to seduce EY and she pushes him into the men's room as EY is very afraid.

Match#2 Robert Roode vs Lance Hoyt w/Ron Killings
Short and whatever, but the highlight is Truth saying he's going Hollywood next year and making all the money and movies he can. Brooks comes back out and distracts Hoyt, and Roode hits the Playmaker to win.

We find EY in the bathroom with lipstick all over his face, and he says he feels different. He says he feels like he's going to lose control and he likes it.

Match#3 Christian Cage vs Sting vs Abyss (Nightstick on a Pole)
As with all pole matches to ever happen, they're bad and stupid no matter the talent involved. It's dulling dragging each down and trying to pull themselves up, and it's for one man and one man only, bro. Sting cuts off Tomko and gets the stick and hits Cage in the guts and that's it.

In the ring, Mike and Corny are now there with a massive trophy for Mr TNA. Jim makes another three way for the PPV for the world title. Mike announces Samoa Joe as the rightful winner, although AJ would be my choice but i'm biased as fuck.

Joe comes out on crutches and shakes their hands and holds the trophy up in a cool moment. Kurt comes out with Joe's girlfriend and says not to come near her because the bitch is toast, He demands his rematch or he's breaking her ankle. Joe calls him a coward bitch hurting a woman. Kurt says it again, and Joe says this is their problem and he has to let her go. Kurt snaps and grabs her ankle and Joe says he's got the match. Kurt says he's sorry it wasn't personal, ACTUALLY IT IS AND HE SNAPS HER ANKLE AS JOE RUNS AFTER HIM. AMAZING
