The opening recap is Jarrett's quest to get the title shot over Rhino. Not sure why this is being bought back up two weeks later, but i got a baaaaaad feeling.

Match#1 Sean Waltman & Alex Shelley vs Lance Hoyt & Konnan (Candido Cup Semifinals)
The super team is tasked with 4 minutes and they make it work. Konnan tries to do fancy lucha stuff with Shelley, and Alex guides him as best he can before turning it into a fight. Good control seg from the heels as they keep it simple and don't bother to work limbs he's not going to sell. Lance gets the hot tag and pinballs the boys around as his slow growth continues. Kip runs down and distracts the ref, and Pac slips in a low blow and the X-Factor on Lance to steal it.

In the back, Jarrett tries to get BG and Truth on his side. He says this started with him and now the list of wrestlers about to be fired has grown and grown. Konnan is teaming with Lance to show who TNA is siding with. Konnan walks on and yells at them all, and Jeff says this is what TNA wants and they won't make it to Spike if they don't work together. Konnan is pissed as Truth says he's trying to give them the heads up. They walk off arguing.

Match#2 Christopher Daniels vs Shark Boy
Shell Yeah, Our hero works the arm to ground the champ and gets really fair with it, and Daniels is pissed and hurt as he thought this would be easy. Sharky keeps it up when he hits a sweet dive on the outside to further hurt the arm. Daniels catches him back in the ring when he pops in his head into the ropes, and he beats the piss out of him in another wonderful control seg.
He hits the BME and Sharky kicks out!!! He goes for the Wings but AJ runs down and gets on the apron to talk some shit, and Daniels walks back into a cradle from Sharky and he loses. SHELL YEAH

Match#3 Shocker & Chris Sabin vs Ron Killings & Sonjay Dutt (Candido Cup Semifinals)
Opening minutes is everyone getting some time to shine and showing what they can bring to this, and it's a cool little thing. Truth attacks Sabin's arm to turn the tide and he can Sonjay go to work on it, and Dutt's change from lame to really good is shown here as he has some fun work on it. Shocker gets the tag and goes right for Dutt's leg and wreaks it, and Sabin joins and we get a long control seg with a ton of focus on it, and Sonjay sells it. Truth gets the hot tag and whips their asses with a flurry of fire. Sabin and Shocker get into when Sabin sends Truth into his head on accident when he tries to slam Truth. Shocker hurls Truth to the floor out of anger which leaves Sonjay to fight them alone as best he can, but they get it back together and take him out and Sabin beats Sonjay with a cradle

Post match, Sabin and Shocker yell at each other but they shake hands and leave.

Match#4 Monty Brown vs Sonny Siaki w/Apollo
2 minutes of nothing before Kip attack Apollo on the floor and fights Sonny. Monty takes Siaki out with the Pounce and beats his ass with a chair for the DQ

Post match, Monty and Apollo have a terrible fight. Kip thankfully gets in and brains the fucker with a chair to the face. Lance Hoyt then runs out for the save. Oh no, don't you dare.

We get a sick hype video for Abyss/Rhino vs Sabu/Raven next week. The highlight is Raven bringing up Backlash 2001 and saying it was the best hardcore match ever, and it's only a taste of what he's going to do to him this time.

Match#5 James Storm w/Chris Harris vs Chase Stevens w/Andy Douglas & Jimmy Hart
Super hate filled fight right away after months and months of playing nice, and it's so fucking good. Storm is a great heel for the night as he beats the fuck out of this little shit. Harris is also wearing evil bad guy sunglasses, so it's all coming together. Storm kicks the shit out of him back in the ring, and Chase is a good FIP taking a wicked ass beating. Really show how much the Nats have grown over the last year. His attempted comebacks are fun as he gets closer and closer, and Storm gets desperate trying to hold on as he gets his shit rocked. Harris gets into itt with the other two to distract the ref, and back in they kill each other with double superkicks. Harris gets the ref to look at Andy, and he quickly rolls Storm on top to steal it. FUCK YES

Harris drags a dead Storm to the back with the biggest shit eating grin on his face. Not a full turn as of yet, but i am so happy TNA is finally going in the correct direction after a year of them treading water and not doing much of note.

Match#1 Alex Shelley & Sean Waltman vs Chris Sabin & Shocker (Candido Cup Finals)
MCMG start off with a sick feeling out and Shelley further wins our hearts when he works the arm and shouts "THIS IS WRESTLING, PEOPLE" Just the best dude. We come back from the break with Alex dominating Sabin on the mat with fancy cool stuff, and Sabin gets fancy in return to get out and gets some of his own back! Shocker gets in and faces off with Waltman for the first time and have a quick fun battle that i wish was a singles match. It breaks down as everyone does a dive train and Pac breaks out a killer on to show he's still that guy. They keep going crazy and it's good shit, but hard to recap with writing everything. Sabin misses a dropkick and takes out Shocker on accident, and he turns around into a superkick from Shelley that kills him. Pac and Shocker get back into it and Pac wins the Cup with the X-Factor.

Post match, Pac gets the cup and shouts that was for Candido!

Back in the ring, Shocker and Sabin go nose to nose but seem to make peace. Sabin leaves but Shocker attacks him behind and leaves him laying.

In the back, Monty rants and raves as it the norm and the important part is he's hunting Lance Hoyt.

In the back, Christopher Daniels says this is the most important part of TNA's short history as they get ready for the debut on Spike. They are all looking for someone to step up and lead the charge, and that man is him. He is Mr TNA and his heart has 6 sides and it beats TNA and Spike. He poses the question to Joe and AJ, do they actually think they are the men to curb his desire or break his will? That will never happen. He will walk his righteous path and he will not be stopped as his will and spirt are Unbreakable

Match#2 Samoa Joe vs Shark Boy
Sick as hell Joe murder of our hero Sharky. Dude just wreaks his shit for 2 minutes and ends it with the combo

5 minutes of two really good wrestlers and a crazy deranged EY going fucking ballistic with everything they can think of. All the seconds fight off to the back as to make me writing it all out pointless and funny. EY gets a ton of shine as he rightly should be when he's trying to end his life every match he has, and he gets super close to winning as he fucks them both up. The other two rule as well, and Harris gets it done with the Cationic on EY

Match#5 Raven & Sabu vs Abyss & Rhino w/James Mitchell
Weirdly not a gimmick match given last weeks Raven promo, but whatever it's still a rad ass fight between monsters and crazed humans. Rhino gets a ton of stuff in on Raven and really beats his head in, and i actually like them showing he's probably got his number and Raven might be dead meat come Sunday. Fun control seg on him as Rhino leads the charge and Abyss is mostly kept to monster stuff, which he rocks at. Raven again takes a wonderful beating and he leans into everything and looks like he could die in a moment. Sabu gets the hot tag and goes nuts with the classic Sabu stuff. Rhino Gores Abyss by mistake and is taken out by Raven, and Sabu beats Abyss with the Facebuster

Post match, Rhino hits Sabu with the Gore! Abyss takes out Raven with a boot and then Rhino beats Raven with a chair to close the show.

4 minute showcase for the reunited and happy Krew. Really could have been on the pre-show (or not at all, but i want to be nice) but TNA is TNA no matter how incredible it can be and has been. Fuck it, at least Truth is getting to do stuff again. Konnan beats Simon with a shitty x-factor.

We go to footage from the pre-show where Monty Brown beat the shit out of some jobbers and declared his intention to challenge the winner of the NWA Championship at BFG. Jarrett interrupted and got mad at Monty for beating him to the punch and demands to know why he's here. Monty says he does what he feels like. Kip then runs down and gets in the middle of his shitty loser friends. Nero then returns and attacks Jeff because it's 2004 and my nightmares are real again after these 3 shitbags have all been thrown to wayside for far better wrestlers.

Match#2 Austin Aries vs Roderick Strong
YES. They have a sick back and forth where it's super smooth and crisp, and neither man seems to want to break first, NAH RODDY FUCKING DEADLIFTS HIM AND KILLS HIM WITH A BACKBREAKER AND HOLDS ON AND THROWS HIM SPINE FIRST INTO THE BUCKLES. Roddy stays on him and kicks the shit out of him in his first major chance, and he's so good as he holds nothing back and lets it all hang out as he wreaks his brother as every turn. Aries rules fighting from underneath and goes to the chops to attempt to comeback and he gets really far with it and manages to knock Roddy on his ass. He sets him up over the ropes and runs at him and hits a wicked neckbreaker/chokebreaker to send him throat first on it, but Rod won''t die and goes right back to kicking the fuck out of him with gross shots and backbreakers. Aries throws a hail Mary dropkick and hits the Brainbuster and 450 to get the win out of nowhere.

Match#3 Kip James & Monty Brown vs Apollo & Lance Hoyt

In the back, Tracy interviews Team Canada. Eric is freaking out and says it's 6 on 2 tonight, and the referee is American too. Roode slaps him and tells him to get the job done and snap out of it, and then tells A1 to start earning his keep for once tonight as he's going to step up to that half backed idiot, Jeff Hardy, Petey recaps his history with Sabin and again declares himself the better of the two.

LOLTNA moment as they fuck up Petey's them and play Abyss' instead. You sir are no monster Abyss.

Match#4 Chris Sabin vs Petey Williams
Tenay announces that Shocker was booked by AAA tonight, and he was replaced by Petey. This is a really cool 10 back and forth as each dude knows each other so well that they do all the old tricks, and then have to break out new ones to get ahead. Petey slams Sabin into the rails to take over and his control is good as it's mostly strikes and Sabin selling his ass off for him. Sabin fights back and it turns into another back and forth that these two do really well after years of it. Close calls and sick counters for a few minutes. Sabin hits a running Razors Edge against the buckles and hits the Cradle Shock to beat this asshole.

Post match, Matt Bentley returns and lays Sabin out with a Superkick. He grabs the mic and says they thought he was gone up north, but TNA is his home. (damn it) he's bound for glory and you can't have that show without the match he made famous, the Ultimate X. He fakes leaving and then hits Petey with a Superkick as well.

Hype for Sabu/Abyss

Match#5 Abyss w/James Mitchell vs Sabu (No DQ)
Abyss messes him up to start with power stuff and keeps it simple with fucking him up as it's the smart play ( and it makes sense with Mitchell's influence). Sabu bumps his ass off and finally says fuck it and grabs a chair and it turns into a hardcore brawl with plunda and lots of fighting on the outside, and it's my jam as you well know as it's just fun and never fails to make me smile. Sabu uses his speed to take it to him and keeps hitting him and running, BUT HE GETS CAUGHT WHEN HE RUNS AT ABYSS AND GETS FUCKING KILLED WITH A GROSS BELLY TO BELLY THROUGH TWO TABLES. He still won't die as he's fucking Sabu and keeps plugging along with chair shots and Sabu offence despite being badly hurt. He fires off a sick facebuster to send him through a table maybe and has it won, but Mitchell puts Abyss' feet on the ropes to save it. Sabu goes after him, but he turns his back and Abyss kills him with the Shock Treatment and then the BHS on theumbtacks.

In the back, Alex Shelley is all alone. He says he doesn't know where Waltman is despite people knowing he's a bit kooky and odd, but that's ok. He's one half of the cup winners and he's going down to the ring with or without him. So, yeah Waltman no showed like a real piece of shit, so now TNA has to scramble to fix it. Fucking asshole.

At the booth, Tenay and DW bury Waltman for letting down the memory of Chris Candido. The KLIQ fucking with a dead guy is super on brand, sadly.

Match#6 Bobby Roode vs Jeff Hardy
Nero is wearing pink makeup in his return and it gets all over Roode. Nero is trying tonight as he wants to keep his job after months and months of fuck ups, so he takes big bumps for Roode and gets his ass handed to him for most of this, and it's good shit. Bobby is again really damn good and growing, and it's nice to see Nero give him a lot and not ruin a big moment. (Also, i'm sick of not like Jeff, so yeah more of this)Nero's comeback is good as he hits most of it clean and Bobby bumps big in return. Petey runs down and hits Jeff with a flagpole to help Bobby, and Roode hits a sweet belly to belly off the top. Nero fights back and takes them both out on the floor, but that pesky shithead JJ runs down and hits Nero with the flag and rolls him back in for Roode to pin him.

The worst part is TNA never runs Jeff vs Jeff (THANKFULLY) again so this is a massive waste of time. Also, doesn't do anything to help Bobby in the long run, so fuck this.

Hype for the tag title match.

In the back, AMW walk up to the Nats and talk some shit and laugh at them for being camera shy. The Nats get angry and say they're sick of this obsession with them, and it ends tonight. Harris says they no deep down they can't beat them and it's over. Storm looks at this wrist and says this is over in about 15 minutes.

Match#7 The Naturals (c) vs America's Most Wanted vs Eric Young & A1 vs Alex Shelley (NWA-TNA World Tag Team Championships- Elimination Match)
Alex works this alone to start as he's got all the guts in the world and he does very well for himself, and the fans get behind him because how could you not root for him doing the right thing despite the odds being against him. Everyone refuses to tag him to let him have a break and he keeps getting his ass beaten, SO CHRIS CANDIDO'S REAL LIFE BROTHER JOHNNY JUMPS THE RAIL AND MAKES IT FOR HIM AND THE REF LETS HIM JOIN THE MATCH. FUCK YEAH. HE THROWS LARIATS AND SPIN KICKS AND THE CROWD EXPLODES AT IT ALL. EY kicks him in the dick and rolls him up to ruin a moment. Amazing moment and a great tribute to his brother. AMW finally get in and are pissed and fight with a lot of anger, and it's a blast as they fit so well as tweeners who are super close to snapping. They have a really fun fight with EY again, and i wish he was there with anyone other than fucking A1. A1 breaks a stick over Harris back to get rid of him, and the Nats finally get in after not doing a lot at all, and they beat EY with the Natural Disaster.

Match#8 Raven (c) vs Rhino (NWA-TNA Worlds Heavyweight Championship-Raven's Rules)
RAVEN BRINGS DOWN THE SHOPPING CART FULL OF PLUNDER LIKE IT'S 2001 AMAZING CALLBACK. They waste no time and get to weapon shots with chains, canes, staple guns and cooking trays. Rhino bleeds buckets and buckets in a goddamn gusher as Raven finally gets to tear this fucking bastard to shreds after months of attacks. RHINIO GRABS A FUCKING BEER KEG AND HITS HIM IN THE ARMS AND RIBS WITH IT. Jesus Christ. Raven ducks another shot and throws it at him and then brains him with a nasty cane shot and attacks his ankle for a while, Love him mixing shit up from the norm because why not take out the ankle so he can't Gore you. Rhino manages to grab a chair and hits him in the face and takes over. HE BUSTS OUT THE STAPLE GUN AND TNA ZOOMS IN ON EVERY SHOT GOING INTO RAVEN'S SKULL. FUCK YES. Rhino beats the shit out of him, but Raven is able still pepper in shots to the ankle and move out of the way every once and a while to say alive. Raven finally makes his comeback with the epic babyface running knee and batters him in revenge. Cassidy Riley tries to help, but he distracts the ref and it lets Rhino kick out of the Evenflow. They fight over a ladder and Raven hits a powerbomb through it to break him in half, but Rhino won't fucking die. He gets the cart and throws it in the ring and goes for the GORE BUT RAVEN MOVES LIKE IT'S 2001 AND RHINO CRASHES HIS FACE INTO IT. Jarrett runs down for some bullshit, but Nero saves and Raven takes JJ out with the Evenflow. He then beats Rhino with another one.

Incredible hype video for the main event.

As always, JB does the introductions to give it the big match feel, but given this is the first ever time the X-Division title has been in the main event on PPV, it's even bigger than ever. Kudos to TNA for doing the right thing.

Match#9 Christopher Daniels vs AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe (NWA-TNA X-Division Championship)
Daniels can't help but talk some shit that these two can't touch him. so they beat his ass in a game of top this. Amazing strikes to Daniels back from both, and each one sounds like a gun going off as they murder him. AJ and Joe fight on the mat and it's epic again as they move at 100kms an hour and go for any limb they can get before that little shit Daniels gets involved. He uses his speed to drop them both as it's his best shot, but he can't stick and move forever and gets caught by Joe, who unloads another insane flurry on him, and then AJ when he gets in his way. Love that AJ and Daniels are trying to play a chess game, while Joe is just cracking heads and the first one to break is the one he's going to pin. He NUKES AJ with a hideous overhead that sends AJ onto his head and neck. Joe goes for the fashwash but Daniels takes him out with a hip and shoulder and hits a dropkick and then the Arabian Press to drop him and the crowd loses it, AND THEN AJ COMES OUT OF NOWHERE AND HITS THE SPRINGBOARD SHOOTING STAR PRESS TO TAKE THEM BOTH OUT. MY GOD. Joe and AJ finally get back in the ring and alone and we get a killer fight for a couple of minutes with both men throwing more bombs to try and end it quick. Daniels gets back in and monkey flips AJ, AND JOE TRIES TO CATCH HIM BUT AJ HITS A SNAP RANA HOW IN THE FUCK AJ??? Daniels backdrops him to the floor in a really scary moment that sends AJ face first to the floor. Daniels decides to try and fight Joe in a strike battle and he gets the everloving shit beaten out of him. Joe locks in the choke and has it won, but AJ comes back to life and hits the Spiral Tap to break it up. DW shouts he had to use the most force possible to make sure it worked! AJ places Daniels in the tree of woe and starts kicking the shit out of him, but Joe comes out of nowhere with a fucking running knee right to AJ's face. He kills Daniels with a running dropkick as he's still upside down!!! Joe nukes AJ more and more with another crazy flurry of offence and somehow AJ keeps kicking out. Daniels runs back in and hits him with a gross DVD to finally stop him. AJ and Daniels fight to the outside for a minute AND JOE RUNS AT FULL SPEED AND HITS A FUCKING TWISTING SUICIDE DIVE OVER THE TOP ROPE TO TAKE THEM OUT AGAIN. AHHHHHH. All 3 fight back in the ring and Joe hurls them both off the top rope with a double backdrop to crush them both. AJ COMES BACK TO LIFE AND GETS INTO AN INSANE STRIKE BATTLE WITH JOE AND THEY GO SLAP FOR SLAP UNTIL JOE DROPS HIM ON HIS HEAD WITH A GERMAN AND HITS THE MUSCLE BUSTER. Joe catches Daniels running in with title and kills him with a powerslam, but Daniels kicks the title into his face to finally get rid of him. AJ and Daniels fight and it rocks a ton as they break out new counters and moves. Joe runs back in and kicks the shit out of Daniels again, but Christopher hits the Angels Wings to knock him out. We get back to AJ and Daniels and they have a mini match again, but fucking Joe still won't die and breaks it up again. AJ fucking snaps and kicks him in the face with the Pele and picks him up in the Rack Bomb and sends him right down on his head. AJ hits Daniels with the Clash, but Joe saves again. Joe misses a charge on Daniels and flies out of the ring and seems to be dead for real this time. AJ and Daniels have a sweet finishing run and AJ counters the Angels Wings into a pin where he drops all his weight onto Daniels and he gets the 3 and wins the title back.

TNA is off TV for a couple of weeks as they wait to debut on Spike on the 1st of October. So hey, TNA being TNA they decided to book Raven/JJ in a world title match on Scott D'Amore's promotion instead of Spike, or you know PPV where they could make money. But hey, i'm sure this will just be a cool little house show deal and won't have major ramifications for TNA's future or anything.

Raven (c) vs Jeff Jarrett (NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship-15/9/05-Border City Wrestling)
They both cut shitty promos about America and Canada and it doesn't fit at all, and there are far better ways to kill time than this trash. They finally go at it on the mat and Raven does very well for himself with takedown and dominating JJ for a while, and it's a cool little change of pace from the norm. He works the arm and gets really far with it, and Jeff's selling is good. They brawl on the outside as JJ can['t help himself, but given how small this venue is they find in darkness and what we see is the standard good shit we always get when Raven is involved. JJ hits a lowblow to take over and has a fun little control seg, though not his best as he's not killing himself for 100 people. Raven fights back before it all breaks down as it tends to. The ref is bumped as Raven and JJ go through a table. They fight some more and Raven brains JJ with the guitar and goes for the Evenflow, BUT AMW RUN OUT AND FINALLY TURN AS HEEL AS HARRIS SUPERKICKS RAVEN AND THEY KILL HIM WITH THE FUCKING DEATH SENTENCE AND THROW JJ ON TOP AND HE REGAINS THE TITLE. SON OF A BITCH NOT LIKE THIS

Post match, AMW beat Raven down and JJ joins in. They raise their arms in victory and new sweet trio has been formed.

TNA easily could have done this on the next PPV and made a ton of money and got serious buzz, but it's LOLTNA for a reason.

Super wonderful sprint as both men go for broke right away and throw a million nasty shots and bombs, and it's just the coolest thing in the world. AJ kills him with the combo and then a wicked flip dive that crushes Roddy in the barricade. AJ stays on him and whips his ass, and Roddy is amazing at fighting from underneath. Daniels makes his way out and screams AJ is holding his title, and Tenay announces they'll be facing off in an Ironman match at BFG. AJ hits the Styln' DDT and the Clash to win

5 sick as hell minutes as the boys go wild as the opening match did as this is the biggest exposure they've gotten, so they go for broke and do anything and everything they can think of to steal the show. The Guns are the standouts as they jell so well together, and Petey is working his ass off to keep up and does well for himself. Big dive train happens that Sabin smokes everyone with a stunning moonsault. They go nuts again and Sabin beats Shelley with the Shellshock

Nero only has his hands painted green this week as he's getting super lazy with everything. Tenay announce a MONSTERS BALL between Rhino, Abyss, Nero and Sabu!!!! This is ok enough as they keep it a brawl and Rhino bashes Nero's body in for a while, and the painted goof sells his ass off and makes some sweet attempted comebacks to his credit. Nero hits a flash Twist of Fate, but Abyss runs down and attacks for the DQ

Post match, Rhino and Abyss go nose to nose and the lights go out! Sabu shows up and cleans house with a chair and wreaks them all because fuck yeah Sabu.

We see footage from the title switch!! We go backstage where Harris says this is the first step in taking TNA back over. Scott D'Amore walks into the scene and says he loves it when a plan comes together. Oh Fuck.

Jeff Jarrett and AMW make their way out looking like the coolest trio TNA could put together as a top heel faction, and credit where it due as always. Jeff says he has built TNA from the ground up and this is his vision come to life. He thanks two men who are the cornerstones of TNA, the team that has changed tag team wrestling for the better AMW. He then introduces Scott D'Amore as the smartest man in Canada. Scott comes out and hugs them and says it's so good to be back after holding up his end, but anytime he needs Jeff he wants him there. They shake hands and hug. Jeff says for the last 4 months he's been told what to do and now the shoe is on the other foot. 3LK come out to cut him off and Konnan says he's already boring the people half to death. The fans and them built this company and he needs to shut up. 3LK rush the ring and a brawl breaks out. Team Canada rush down and turn the tide and beats the piss out of 3LK!! Some new terrible music hits and it's BROTHER RAY AND BROTHER D-VON MAKING THEIR DEBUT AS TEAM 3D. They hit the ring and fight AMW and it's really fucking awesome. They kill AMW with 3D's, and then corner JJ but he bails to the outside. Some new music hits and Kevin Nash makes his return for the first time since April. The Dudz kills Jeff with the Wazzup, and then Nash hits a sweet Jacknife on Jeff. Nash gets the mic and says Planet Jarrett is a little off axis tonight. At BFG he's got some unfinished business and that world title is coming home to him. (or not, but we'll cover that in a couple of week). D-Von gets the mic and challenges AMW to a match NEXT WEEK. Super odd to not do it at the PPV where money is to be made, but fuck logic, i guess.

TONIGHT; AMERICA'S MOST WANTED VS TEAM 3D FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER.

Another sick as fuck recap video to kick us off. TNA are sooooo good at this, and to this day can put a motherfucker hype video together.

We go to 3D in the back. Bubba says no other team has made a bigger impact than them in tag wrestling and this is another step. AMW got a little taste last week, and they make a step to the most prestigious pairs of gold in the NWA tag team championships. D-Von says in 30 minutes they'll show AMW why they're the baddest team on the planet.

In the back, Raven is again dragged off by blackshirts and thrown into the back of a cop car.

Match#1 Bobby Roode, A1 & Eric Young w/Scott D'Amore vs 3 Live Kru
I hate this matchup so goddamn much it's not actually funny anymore. I'd rather watch Tony Garea and IRS as a team than any of these 6 fighting again for as long as i live. D'Amore joins commentary just to stick the knife in a little more. He takes credit for Raven being thrown out, and that at least clears that up. Kip James sits on the stage to watch, so Tenay feels it's important to talk about the history of the Outlaws like we don't know. Yeah, not having a good time right now. The match is the same as always with Roode, EY and Truth working their asses off for the other 3 goobers, and i just can't do this anymore. Truth beats EY with the Axe Kick

Post match, TC attack them until Kip runs down and gets them to back off as he stands over BG. Konnan gets in his face and they argue again as BG tries to keep the peace.

Match#2 Christopher Daniels vs Austin Aries vs Matt Bentley w/Traci
Aries won an internet poll to get another chance in TNA, and if not for a snowstorm in a few months that will kill off the TNA/ROH friendly partnership, he would be a regular years before it happens . Still, he's 2005 Austin Aries and is incredibly smooth and awesome, and he and Daniels match up perfectly again. Matt is ok as a cheating little asshole, and he mostly stays out of the way as the other two steal the match, which is nice of him. Aries gets a ton of time to shine and just kills it in every aspect and the crowd loves him so much. Petey runs down to talk shit, but Sabin comes out of nowhere to attack him and then Shane dives on both of them to get rid of them. Aries is crotched on the top rope and Daniels hits the Angels Wings to steal it.

TNA could run any of the 40 squash matches between these two and i couldn't tell the difference at this stage. Abyss wins in a real shocker.

In the ring, Tenay is standing by with Larry. Mike demands to know how Jeff got a title shot in Canada in the first place, and Larry ignores him and says he's now bringing in a guest referee for Jeff vs Nash, a man who will not be scared off by anyone. That man is Tito Ortiz. Tito comes out and DW says he's already proven he can do it once before and this is a smart move on Larry's part. Tito says the fans will get bound for glory on the 23rd. hahahahahha and this is why he's not allowed to talk. He says he's got two rules. #1 he is to be respected and #2 he will break fingers if they touch him. More than fair. JJ now comes out and bitches about this and calls Tito "simple" and says he'll break his freaking neck if he touches him. He'll send Nash back to Hollywood once he;'s done with him. It won't be the Longest Yard (2005) it will be the longest night of his life. Nash comes out and brawls with Jeff, and mostly whips his ass with ease. Tito drags Nash off and chokes him out with a rear naked choke, and then throws Jeff away like he's nothing. Lmao what a way to make Tito look like the strongest dude in the match. Also, this match never happens as Nash gets sick again and won't be back for another year, so maybe it's time for TNA to stop trying to book this.

In the back, Shane is interviewing Christopher Daniels. Chris screams that he ruled the X-Division for 6 months and beat everyone, EVERYONE they put in front of him. AJ Stole the championship from him and there is no better night than to right the wrongs. He asks AJ to pick 3 of his friends from the X-Division so he can beat them in 15 minutes to show him how easy this will be. AJ walks on and says he's got a deal and he knows exactly who he's picking.

Match#4 America's Most Wanted vs Team 3D
Good opening as 3D are fully caring and throw some stiff shots and pinball AMW around the ring. While, i hate to see my boys get done like this, they're at least amazing in this role and do a ton to make me and you give a shit about 2005 Dudley Boyz. We come back from break where Ray is being beaten on by AMW. Short but fun control as they lay in shots and kick the shit out of him. Ray throws GROSS chops as he fights like hell to get anything going and each one sounds like a gun going off, and Storm sells his ass off for them. D-Von gets the hot tag and it's not all that good as he's slow and old and makes AMW slow it all down. Things break down AND GAIL KIM RUNS DOWN AND LOW BLOWS BUBBA FOR THE DQ. FUCK YEAH

Post match, JJ runs down and hits D-Von in the face with the world title and busts him wide open, and then he smacks him again. AMW take Ray out with the Death Sentence and rip his head open and leave him a bloody mess as well. AMW hit on on D-Von to further fuck him up, and he does the seizure sell.JJ gets the guitar and kills Ray with a nasty shot and Harris kicks his dead bloody body over into a heap. Incredible angle.

Match#1 Monty Brown vs Mikey Batts & Jarelle Clarke
TNA is going back to handicap squashes to try and heat Monty back up for the next big debut (won't spoil it, but it's an Instant Classic) so he murders these two for a minute or so. He kills them with a Pounce and Alpha Bomb and pins both to win.

Post match, Monty gets the mic and welcomes everyone to the Serengeti and declares no one will stop him from winning the World title. Lance Hoyt's music hits and he comes out and gets in Monty's face, but Brown leaves the ring. Lance gets the mic and says not to forget this 6ft7 ticked Texan coming for him at BFG, and he will remember the name of Hoyt forever. Tenay then confirms the match.

In the back, Shane is with Larry and a bunch of blackshirts. Larry announces next week for the first time on Spike TV, it will be The Naturals vs AMW for the Tag Team Titles! Raven runs out of nowhere and tries to tackle Larry, but the blackshirts hold him back. Raven screams he's a piece of crap and he wants to know why he let Jarrett screw him out of the world title, and now he's giving Nash HIS title shot. THIS IS BULLSHIT, LARRY. WHAT ABOUT ME, WHAT ABOUT RAVEN?. Larry kicks him out again and demands they keep him out this time. Raven is 100% in the right as always.

JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER VS SAMOA JOE AT BOUND FOR GLORY 2005. HOLY FUCKING SHIT.


Match#2 David Young w/Simon Diamond vs Matt Bentley w/Traci
The fans are now dancing for Bentley, leading to Tenay dubbing it "The Bentley Bounce" of all things. So, he's now a dancing babyface in the oddest idea TNA has. had in a while. Good little showcase for him as DY is the best punching bag in the company and makes him earn every bit of offence he gets in this, and also has some sick offence of his own as he should be the one getting the push. Shane fights back and apes Shawn's offence with the Elbow Drop and the Superkick to win.

Post match, Petey comes out of nowhere and attacks Bentley. He lays him out with the Destroyer, and then he sees Traci checking on him so he grabs her and forces a kiss like a scumbag. She slaps him for it, so he he tires to hit her with the CD, but Sabin makes the save and chases him off.

IT'S NOW TIME FOR THE SINGLE GREATEST MOMENT IN TNA HISTORY, THE TEAM 3D FUNERAL.

I in no way can do this justice as it's the best pure comedy segment TNA has ever run, and maybe the best one ever. So, please watch it, but hurry up i gotta piss.



Match#3 Sabu vs Rhino
Sick opening flurry from Sabu as he uses his speed and offence to floor the man beast over and over. Sabu misses a moonsault and Rhino starts beating the shit out of him with forearms and clubs, and it's good fun. Sabu won't die and comes back with a wild Summersault Plancha and then it turns into a chair war where Rhino brains Sabu with it right to the skull. He tries the RhinoDriver, which leads to Tenay shouting that there are no restriction in TNA like the biggest nerd in the world. Sabu counters into rana and goes to come off the top, but Abyss runs out so Sabu smacks him with a chair! He jumps back down and turns into the Goreeeeeeee and Rhino wins.

Abyss runs and fights Rhino in a cool monster fight. Abyss gets the best of it and breaks out a bag of tacks, but Nero joins the fray and gets rid of him. Sabu is back up and smacks Rhino in the face with a chair! All 4 meet in the middle and fight until the blackshirts break it up.

Hype for Jarrett/Nash. This is not happening, but we'll get there in a moment.

NEXT WEEK; MONTY, JARETT & ABYSS VS AJ, NERO & HOYT.

Match#4 15 Minute Ironman Gauntlet
Shark Boy is the 1st challenger, shell yeah. He tries to use his speed to get Daniels to chase him down and use his energy, and it works for a little while as he goes on a fun run and pinablls Daniels around. Chris cuts him off and hits the Wings to get rid of him in maybe 90 seconds. Sonjay is up next and looks way better than before he left as he's hitting everything clean and breaking out new springboard assisted offence on Daniels to knock the hell out of him. He hits a stunning Moonsault to the outside to hurt him even more, and keeps dominating back in the ring. Daniels finally catches him with an STO to stop him and beats him down focusing on the back with high impact offence to it, and Dutt sells it pretty well. They shift in a cool back and forth and the time goes down quick to nearly 3 minutes. Daniels posts him and hits the Wings to beat him with 3 minutes left.

Daniels gets the mic and demands AJ bring out the next victim, AND AJ STYLES MUSIC HITS AND HE WALKS OUT IN THE STREET CLOTHES AND HE'S THE FINAL MAN. Daniels tries to run for it, so AJ chases him and has a chair thrown into his face. Daniels beats his ass on the outside and hurts AJ's back. He smashes him into the rail and the buckles, and AJ DIES on each bump in cooler and nastier ways. It gets down. to a minute and AJ finally fights back and ramps up his speed and beats the dog shit out of him with lariats to drop him. He goes for the Forearm off the top, but he slips off with one second left and Daniels bails as the match ends.

AJ gets the mic and says normally he would run up there and kick his butt, but he's got him for 30 minutes as BFG to just that so he's waiting.

Match#1 Samoa Joe vs Elix Skipper w/Simon Diamond
Don says there is no one better to fight Joe as Elix can do amazing things in that ring that Joe won't see coming. Joe murders the young man with a wicked kick to the head and obliterates him time and time again with the coolest and meanest offence in the world as he is Samoa fucking Joe in his peak. Skipper takes a wonderful beating leaning into it all, but won't die and tries to fight back with some great kicks and springboard Moonsault, but it's not enough as Joe is a force of nature and can't be killed. He catches him with the scoop powerslam and murders hm with the Muscle Buster and the Choke to win.

Match#2 The Naturals (c) vs America's Most Wanted (NWA-TNA World Tag Team Championships)
The first ever title match in Spike TV history for TNA, and there is more fitting team to get that chance than AMW. AMW jump them for once and we get another brawl between them that kicks all the ass as it always does because it just works! CHASE HITS A FUCKING SHOOTING STAR PRESS OFF THE TOP ONTO EVERYONE. WHAT THE HELL? Gail comes down to the ring and helps her boys regroup and clam it down. We come back from the break where The Nats are controlling in the ring until Gail gets Andy to chase her, and he runs right into a tag title to the face courtesy of Harris. He's busted wide open, and Harris goes mental on the cut in his first heel control seg, and he does an imppecible job of it. Chase gets the hot tag shortly after and does well holding his own kicking their asses around the ring. Gail distract the ref so Harris can brain Chase with the title, and he somehow kicks out on 2.9. Harris misses a lariat and takes out the ref, and Andy comes back to life and hits the ND on Harris, but the ref is dead. Gail gets involved again, so the Nats try to take her out but Jarrett runs down low blows Andy, AND STORM COMES BACK FROM THE OTHER SIDE AND BREAKS A BEER BOTTLE OVER CHASES FACE AND AMW MAKE THE PIN AND FINALLY GET THE TITLES BACK. FUCK YEAH

Post match, they beat the crap out of the Nats as Don West shouts he hates this as he used to have so much respect for AMW, but they threw it away for Jarrett.

Match#3 Bobby Roode w/Scott D'Amore vs Ron Killings w/BG James
This feud is forever and forever, sadly. Still good back and forth as always as Roode's growth is continuing and Truth is the fucking man. HE HITS A GODDAMN RUNNING SENTON OVER THE TOP HOLY SHIT DUDE. Roode manages to crotch him on top and kicks his ass with some killer body blows and really whips Truth's ass, and Truth takes a beating for him. Kip walks out and tells Tenay he's going to talk to his brother BG and settle this once and for all. Konnan sees it on the TV with Apollo and leaves pissed off. Back in the ring, they fight happens and it rocks, but then the camera focuses on Konnan and Kip arguing for the 500000 time. Kip and Konnan fight on the outside, and then Team Canada come out and fight Truth. Bobby gets the stick and breaks it on Truth's back and steals the win.

In the back, Shane is with JJ, Abyss and Monty. Brown is very mad about being in this match as TNA is forcing him, and he wants to hunt Jarrett and the title down. He hasn't forgotten they have a deal, and Jeff says he walked away from that deal but he'll give him another chance. Go out there and play your cards right and impress him! Monty says he's got a royal flush and he's cashing in sooner rather than later. Jeff then warns Abyss to do the same, and the big man stares him down .

Match#4 AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy & Lance Hoyt vs Jeff Jarrett, Monty Brown & Abyss w/James Mitchell
Nero is painted red and green tonight on his his arms and it looks dreadful. Fun battle with Abyss to start as Lance and Nero match up super well with him as we know. Jarrett knees Nero in the back to isolate him, and the heel control seg is a fine and basic beating of this painted goon. Said goon sells it ok and sees to kinda care, but it's always hard to tell during this stage of his career. AJ's hot tag rocks so much as he beats the crap out of everyone as he ramps it up to a thousand miles an hour. LANCE HOYT RUNS THE ROPES AND HITS A DIVE ONTO ABYSS AND TAKES A HEADER INTO THE GROUND AS ABYSS CAN'T CATCH HM. AJ finally fights Jarrett again and it's good as always, so is his fight with Abyss as he goes on a sweet run of offence. Jarrett and Abyss takes his head off to isolate him leading to a short but fun control seg where they beat his head in, and AJ bumps like crazy. Cassidy Riley joins commentary to say Raven will be at BGF. Things break down as it seems to happen and everyone fights and hits massive moves. It comes down to AJ and JJ again and AJ whips his ass and has it won, but Daniels shoves him off the top rope and Jeff goes for the stroke, BUT MONTY RUNS OUT AND KILLS AJ WITH THE POUNCE AND PINS HIM. OH SHIT

Post match, Daniels joins in with the heels and attacks AJ. Sabu and Rhino also get involved and brawl in the crowd as Daniels chokes AJ out with the Koji Clutch. Kevin Nash comes out and gets in the ring as the show closes. We'll see on Bound For Glory

TNA BOUND FOR GLORY-PRE SHOW

So, i found the pre-show match on YouTube which is a 4-way X-Division Showcase, so we're starting with that. Also, Mike Tenay announces Kevin Nash has been hospitalised and won't be competing against Jarrett for the world title tonight, so TNA officials are working on a new title match right now. Nash was reported as to be suffering a mild cardiac episode, and given his family history, it's lucky that's all it was.

Match#0 Alex Shelley vs Sonjay Dutt vs Austin Aries vs Roderick Strong
GenNext ask Sonjay to stay out of it as we start with Roddy and Alex going at it, and it's sooo good as they're smooth and crisp and match up stupidly well. Sonjay gets in and holds his own against Shelley as his game has been upped since he got back, and Alex gives him a lot and he does well with it as he never looks lost and hits everything clean. Aries gets in and smokes everyone with the insane pinpoint offence that looks incredible, and the crowd sides with him right away, and get hotter and hotter as he breaks out more cool stuff they've maybe never seen before. Roddy gets back and in and shows off even more with an insane array of backbreakers and chops! HE AND ALEX START CHOPPING EACH OTHER AND THEY GET CRAZY AND SLAP EACH OTHER RIGHT IN THE FACE. It all breaks down and ramps up as they get faster and progressively more crazy and wild with offence, and the crowd is white hot for all of it. GenNext fight and breaks out all the big stuff and it's such a goddamn blast to see it. It comes down to Sonjay and Roddy, and Sonjay hits a stunning Dragonrana to win.

A spectacular opening video kicks us off.

Samoa Joe gets a sick intro with Samoan dancers beating drums and dancing with him. Its a wonderful sight as TNA realises what they have for at least one night.

Match#1 Samoa Joe vs Jushin Thunder Liger
This is 7;27 minutes because TNA somehow messes with a goddamn sure thing by shorting it by at least half the time it should get. Especially given some of the crap on this show that shouldn't be here. LOLTNA is needed is what i'm saying. HOWEVER, this still rocks because it's two of the best ever going at it and it can't be bad. Liger uses his speed to take the monster down and kicks his butt with wicked kicks and chops, and Joe gets blasted over and over. He finally catches Liger with a gross Samoan Drop that crushes him and then he goes to work with a short and stellar beating on Thunder with the insane array of violence only Samoa Joe can do, and Liger bumps his ass off. Tenay does an amazing job of giving a short history of Liger's career and sells him to those who may have never seen him. Liger fights back with his Wheel Kick aka combo kick and then drops him with a Suplex and goes for broke trying to pin him as quick as he can with chops and kicks to drop him a few times. He tries to come off the top but Joe kicks his legs out and drags him down into the Muscle Buster and locks in the Choke to make Liger pass out!

In the back, Simon Diamond hypes up his Diamonds by saying they're winners and not losers. No, they are indeed big stupid losers.

Match#2 Diamonds in the Rough vs Apollo, Sonny Siaki & Shark Boy
This would be the crap i wrote about earlier as what the fuck is this trash doing on PPV, and why does it screw the opening out of time. Only Elix, Sharky and DY are good on top of that, so it's even. more baffling TNA pulled this. Bad lame wrestling for 7 minutes happens and none of it all that good or worth wasting anyone's time reading about it, and i wouldn't do that to you. DY beats Sonny with a Spinebuster to prove he's not a loser.

At the boot, Tenay recaps the opening 4 way and praise the match for showcasing the division.

We go to the pre-show where Raven confronted Larry about getting the world title shot, and when Larry refused he choked him. Rhino came down to the ring and asked what happened to the guy who kidnapped a man's family and would do anything to win. He wonders if a girl got to his head, which um, does he mean Beulah or Lori? because that's a weird thing to say. Anyway, Raven was kicked out again, and Rhino gored Cassidy Riley.

In the back, Shane asks JJ who is getting the title shot tonight. Jeff tells him to pump the brakes and says he called the hospital and it shows he'll go to any length to prevent getting his ass whooped. Rhino and Raven have lost their damn minds, screw Jeff Hardy. Screw Abyss. Screw Sabu. Monty walks on and says to say it to his face, and Jeff backs off and says he wouldn't say that. Monty says he can smell the fear and he knows he afraid of him. He's going to show him whose on top of the food chain. Jarrett says he needs to impress Larry and the championship committee and if he loses to Lance Hoyt, he'll have a long climb back to the top. Monty says he's going to take him out and pop him with the Pounce. Jarrett says it's playoff time and he can't afford this lose.

Match#3 Lance Hoyt vs Monty Brown
Tenay says this match is dedicated to the Crusher who passed last night, and i wish he was alive and making people bleed. The opening is SUPER rough as Lance is trying to be fancy and move really quick with his stuff, and as a result he's sloppy and nearly kills him again on a tope when he lands face first on the mat. Lance goes on a flurry after that thats not very good at all, but he tries hard and it's endearing at least. Monty shoves him off the top and he's again lacking any real fire and skill during it as the die has been cast and it's over for him. It moves to a back and forth and it's far better as they just do stuff and don't mess it up. Monty wins with the Pounce.

In the back, Shane asks if 3LK can stick together tonight against Team Canada. BG cuts a bad promo that basically states they're staying together. Kip walks on and says h's got their back as last night was a mistake. BG and Truth agree, but Konnan says it's a terrible idea and he's not working with that bitch. They argue again until Konnan storms off.

Match#4 Eric Young, A1 & Bobby Roode w/Scott D'Amore vs 3 Live Kru
Goddamn it, not again. 6 minutes on PPV when they could have put this on IMPACT and nobody would have cared. Once again, the standouts standout and the bad wrestlers suck a lot. Kip watches on the ramp. Truth and Roode fight again and it's a lot of fun, and i wouldn't have hated these two in a singles match here with Bobby winning. Truth is isolated and the control is fine enough as always. Finishing run is ok as always, and Roode breaks the stick over BG's head to steal the win. PLEASE let this be the end of this.

Post match, TC beat up the Kru until Kip walks down and pulls BG to safety. He gets in and gets a chair as they hold Konnan up for him to kill, but he smacks A1 instead and runs the heels off. Yuck.

In the back, Shane is pressing Larry for an answer about who will be facing Jarrett tonight. Larry says the problem is they have too many contenders as everyone wants a shot, and he's waiting on a call to figure this out. Shane will be the first man to know when he knows. Eww, don't tell him.

Match#5 Chris Sabin vs Petey Williams vs Matt Bentley w/Traci (Ultimate X-#1 Contenders Match)
-There's a giant red X hanging above that the winner needs to grab. Keep this in mind for no reason at all
-Everyone fights to start and single out Petey for being Petey, so he takes the lions share of it.
-Sabin and Matt fight on the ropes and Matt pulls him down right on his knee in a scary moment.
-Traci distracts Petey with her beauty and Matt is climbing behind him, SO PETEY PULLS HIM DOWN BY THE LEGS AND MATT TURNS IT INTO A SICK ELBOW DROP ONTO A PRONE SABIN.
-Sabin comes back to life and goes on a sick run and kicks both their asses.
-Dive train happens with Petey taking it with a sick Rana on Matt
-Matt and Sabin fight on the cables AND SABIN HOOKS HIS LEGS AND HITS A FUCKING POWERBOMB. JESUS CHRIST
-Sabin and Petey fight on the top rope and Petey hangs upside and crushes his balls with his boot, but Matt shoves him off onto the ground in a nasty spill.
-Sabin has a clear path, but he can't help himself and takes them out with a Moonsault.
-He gets back up and Don says he needed to clear the filed to get the win. God Bless
-Sabin climbs across and is close, but Matt tackles him off, AND THE X FALLS DOWN TO THE MATT
-Everyone is confused as to what to do, so the ref as to stop the match and call for someone to hang it back up
-Everyone improvises and fights on the outside as this happening and you can see the camera catching Matt and Petey talking about what to do next.
-The X is hung back up and everyone tries to fight, but it falls off again and Petey catches it and the match is called.
-Matt and Sabin storm off looking PISSED, and even poor Petey looks really upset as the fans chant bullshit
-Massive botched ending aside, that was pretty fun.

Hype for AMW/Nats, only the video focuses on the attack of Team 3D and pretty much ignores the Nats outside of beating them for the title last night.

Match#6 America's Most Wanted (c) w/Gail Kim vs The Naturals (NWA-TNA World Tag Team Championships)
The Nats are all bandaged up from last night and they kick off another sick hate filled brawl all over the Zone. Classic stuff between them using their environment to kill each other time and time again. Storm is powerbombed into the rail to crush his spine and back! Harris is alone and gets his ass kicked, and he fits so well as a shithead cowardly heel after years of being such a great face. Nats really step up again and unleash hell on them with all the anger in the world. Gail gets in Andy's face allowing Storm to smash his face into the steel post for the UX setup and he busts him open again, and punches the cut to make it even worse. AMW get a sweet control seg as heels for the first time and it's tremendous as they just get it right away and murder poor Andy and cut off in new and cool ways. Chase has another fun hot tag and shows off his chops and cooks well. CHASE BREAKS OUT THE POWDER AND BLINDS HARRIS AND HE TAKES OUT STORM BY MISTAKE. THE NATS KILLS HARRIS WITH THE DEATH SENTENCE BUT HE KICKS OUT. Gail again gets involved and stops the Nats from winning, Andy chases after her but Harris follows and handcuffs him to the rail! Chase does his best to fght the odds, but Storm breaks the bottle over his face and then they kill him with the Death Sentence to retain.

-Nero is painted green on a PPV again. Oh no
-Big shamoz to start with it all breaking down as it damn well should
-Nero hits the Whisper in the Wind off the chair onto Abyss over the ropes.
-Everyone brawls in the crowd and Sabu is busted open above his eye in a real gusher.
-Nero dives off the second row balcony onto Abyss
-Abyss is now painted green.
-Sabu tosses a chair right in Rhino's face and then kills him with Air Sabu
-Abyss kills Nero with the Shock Treatment.
-Rhino cracks everyone in the face with chair shots.
-He then breaks out a cane and beats the piss out of poor Abyss with it
-ABYSS CATCHES HIM RUNNING AND KILLS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM ONTO A CHAIR FOR 2.9
-Abyss and Nero fight off near the stage as Abyss beats him up with a ladder.
-Abyss sets up some tables, but Nero brains him with some ugly shots to the face and lays him out on a table.
-Sabu puts Rhino on a table of his own and kills him with an amazing legdrop
-Nero climbs to the top of the stage

-Nero gets back in and fights Rhino, but he's cooked and he knows it.
-They fight on top and RHINO HITS THE FUCKING RHINO DRIVER TO WIN.

Jarrett walks on is very mad and upset and calls this a screwjob and he wants to know whose in the match. Larry refuses to tell him and says destiny is in control, so good luck. Sadly, this will not lead to Raven getting his title back.

Hype for AJ/Daniels

Match#8 AJ Styles (c) vs Christopher Daniels (NWA-TNA X-Divison Championship-30 Minute Ironman Match)
Daniels is now wresting with a priest collar around his neck in a really terrible look. He jumps AJ to start and beats the hell out of him as only he can, and AJ rules at fighting underneath. He takes his licks and then takes Daniels head off with the Dropkick to knock him out of the ring. He throws him over the rail, AND JUMPS OFF THE APRON OVER IT WITH A FOREARM INTO THE CROWD AND HITS HIM CLEAN IN THE FACE. He takes him back in and works his neck for a while with a headlock and Daniels fights like hell to get out, so AJ locks on even tighter and controls him on the mat. Daniels grabs the arm to finally get free for a moment, so AJ switches to the arm to drag him back down and holds the neck again. AJ finally snaps as he boots him in the ribs and drops a knee on his face and starts kicking his ass in awesome form. He goes back to neck work with a Last Chancery to it, and he really cranks it and hurts him bad. Daniels finally catches him coming off the top into a sick Exploder that drops him right on his head and neck (and into Nero's green paint) and Daniels goes on the attack targeting the head and neck in revenge. He uses a vice grip to twist and turn in it in a really unique idea, and AJ's selling rocks. Daniels locks in the Koji Clutch and chokes the hell out of him, and AJ's attempts to muscle himself out fail at first, but he deadlifts him again and reaches for the ropes to break it up. Daniels stay on him and keeps attacking the neck and never loses focus on it. AJ mounts a comeback that targets the already hurt neck of Daniels in a really smart play, but Daniels again cuts him off with a gross DVD and goes back to kicking his head in. Daniels goes for the BME and kills him with it, but AJ kicks out! AJ fights back again with a Rack Bomb, BUT DANIELS FIGHTS BACK AND HITS A KNEE RIGHT TO THE BODY AND AJ FLYS OUT OF THE RING AND LANDS ON THE STEPS, AND THEN DANIELS RUNS OUT AND KILLS HIM WITH A TOPE. AJ is dead but not dead yet as he hits a Pele and then a flip dive of his own. They both slowly get back up on the apron, AND DANIELS PICKS HIM UP AND BACKDROP SUPLEXS HIM TO THE FLOOR WHAT THE FUCK, MAN. AJ's back selling is amazing as he's hobbling and looking near death, and Daniels is just as hurt. They get back in and have another wild back and forth with a ton of momentum shifts throughout, but no one can get a pin. They go insane in the last 90 seconds trying to end it, but it comes down to the last ten seconds where AJ counters a Rollup into the Styles Clash to win it.

-#1 is Samoa Joe
-#2 is Ron Killings
-Truth dances and messes about as he tends to, so Joe punches him in the mouth and kills him with a nasty fashwash.
-Truth won't die and fights back and puts Joe on his ass, and they have a great fight near the ropes.
-#3 is Sabu
-He brings his chair with him and throws it as Joe and Truth's faces and hits cool Sabu offence with it.
-His face is also all taped up and his head is covered in blood.
-Joe throws the chair into his knees
-#4 is Lance Hoyt
-He squares up to Joe and they have a cool fight.
-#5 is Abyss
-He's holding his hand as Don says he thought he broke it earlier.
-HE GOES NOSE TO NOSE WITH JOE AND THEY CHOP THE HELL OUT OF EACH OTHER AND IT RULES

-He's selling his back and knees, also still painted green
-Sabu is laying in the corner bleeding again
-Joe catches Lance in an armbreaker and tries to snap it

Jeff attacks right away and controls because TNA is at least, or i should say, Jeff Jarrett is at least smart enough to work this the right way. They fight on the outside because what else is Jarrett going to do in a big match. He gets him back in the ring and keeps beating him up until Rhino catches him with a choke and kicks him in the dick to even it up. He misses the Gore and rams his shoulder into the post. Gail tries to get involved, but Tito catches her coming off the top and throws her out. Jeff gets the guitar and smashes it into Rhino's face as Rhino is running for another gore in a sick moment. Rhino kicks out of it, and then AMW come down and get in Tito's face and Storm throws JJ another guitar, BUT AS HE GOES TO SWING IT, RHINO CATCHES HIM WITH THE GORE, GOREEEE. GOREEEEEEEEEE AND WINS THE TITLE

Post match, Planet Jarrett and 3LK all run down and brawl, and the heels get the best of it as the numbers are too much. They bring in the coffin and set it up in the middle of the ring and JJ smashes another guitar over his head! They shove him in it, and Jarrett poses on top with the title. Team 3D's awful music hits and they rush the ring and attack everyone and the other faces join and help to even it up. EY gets hit with the 3D and shoved into the coffin. The face celebrate in the ring and give Rhino HIS world title as the crowd loses their minds in happiness.

Really fun show.

Match#1 Abyss w/James Mitchell vs Lance Hoyt
Tenay notes Abyss is a bad mood according to Mitchell, and very angry at Sabu. They'll be in a no DQ match at Genesis on the 13th. Lance shows zero fear and turns into a slug fest and throws bombs at him, and Abyss fires back as well for a fun big man battle. Lance again hits a bad dive where he eats shit on it, but i can't help but smile when he does it because he's not giving up. Abyss turns the tide and starts clubbing the hell out of him, Mitchell slides a chair in to him, but Lance boots it into Abyss's head for 2.9 and then stupidly goes after Mitchell on the outside. He runs back into the ring and eats the BHS for the deserved loss.

Post match, Abyss gets the bag of tacks to send a message, but the lights go out and Sabu is in the ring with a towel over his hand. He takes it off to show he's got barbed-wire around it and it's cutting into his skin, and Abyss leaves freaked out.

TNA WILL BE 2HRS ON THE 3RD OF NOVEMBER AS THEY GO PRIMETIME.

At ringside, Tenay apologises to the fans and wrestlers on behalf of TNA for the ending of the UX match, so there will be a rematch on the 3rd between them to determine the #1 contender. Fuck yeah. Jarrett's music hits and he comes out with Larry Z in toe. He gets in Mike's face and says he's got big news for him, it's singed and sealed and he'll deliver it in the rematch on the 3rd against Rhino. He says the belt is coming home. Son of a fucking bitch, here we go again.

Match#2 Christopher Daniels vs Jarrell Clark
The fans chant for Daniels as soon as he comes out, and he looks very confused by it. Super fun showcase as he gives the kid a lot and takes some sick bumps, before he cracks him and beats his ass in epic form. Angels Wings ends it.

TNA GENESIS NOVEMBER 13TH

In the back, Shane is speaking to Raven about how angry he must be after being robbed by Larry. Cassidy walks on and says he was robbed and he's being played by TNA and Larry. He's smarter than all of them, but maybe she has gotten into his head and made him soft. Raven backhands him and leaves.

Match#3 AJ Styles & Sonjay Dutt vs Alex Shelley & Roderick Strong
THE FANS THROW UP THE EMBASSY DIAMOND FOR ALEX, AND HE THROWS IT BACK. Fantastic opening as AJ and Shelley go at it and blown the roof off the place. Sonjay is good again working his heart out and breaking out more cool stuff, and he and Roddy get into it and have some awesome chemistry. We come back from the break where Shelley has isolated Sonjay and GenNext has a killer control seg. D'Amore joins the booth to rant about this not being fair to Petey and screaming this isn't right. Roddy stands out during this throwing bombs and beating the fuck out of Sonjay with an array of sick backbreaker, all while talking shit to AJ as he does it. AJ's hot tag is goddamn insane as he goes for broke beating the hell out of them in the coolest and sickest ways possible, and GenNext take a wicked beating. It all breaks down and Roddy kills AJ with a gross backbreaker, and poor Sonjay is on his own and gets thrown headfirst into to the rail by Shelley. Back in the ring, AJ takes Roddy's head off with a discus lariat and then hits the Styles Clash to win as Alex is just a second too late to save as Sonhay grabs his foot to stop him.

In Larry's office, 3LK are demanding he give them one last match with Team Canada to finish this. Kip walks on and asks Larry if he told them yet. Larry says the rematch is something he wants and it can happen at Genesis. Kip says to make it fair he should be made the referee. BG and Truth are for it, but as always Konnan wants no part of it and gets in his face. Kip says he could have split his wig at BFG but he didn't, and he needs to let it go. Konnan yells at him and calls him a bitch and storms off. I hate everything.


Jarrett & AMW vs. Rhino & Team 3D is announced for Genesis.

Match#4 America's Most Wanted w/Gail Kim vs Ron Killings & BG James w/Konnan
Truth steals a cowboy hat and cleans house on them, and AMW fit right in as stooging goofs. Truly the best team in TNA history, and probably the world at this point as the Briscoes aren't active. AMW cut him off and go to work with another great control seg as they're mean and wonderful dickheads, and Truth is the best guy to take that beating for them as he dies on everything. BG's hot tag suck as he's fat and old and way past the point of giving a shit, so poor AMW can't do much with it. The bullshit hits when Konnan chases after Gail, and on the other side Kip stops D'Amore from getting involved and steals the flag and throws it to BG. Harris steals it, and BG walks back into a Superkick from Storm and loses.

Team 3D arrive and come out to the ring. Bubba says when the top management of TNA called them and asked them to come, they were ready to show up and make an Impact. HA GET IT. He tells the fans to cheer for their new favourite team in the world AMW!! They did something no other team in the last ten years has been able to do, but that was a deadly mistake as they didn't get the job and kill them. and we're too tough to die. They heard about them making fun of them and drinking beers at the funeral and pissing in the casket. They know every single person who was involved in this, and AMW are public enemy #1 and first on the hit-list. They've got them at Genesis. D-Von says it's time to lay out some vengeance and next week they'll reign a path of rage down on them. Not your line, you dick. Team Canada come out on the stage and Roode grabs the mic and says they're not waiting for next week, we're doing it tonight. Team Canada jump them from behind and kick the shit out of them with the flag. 3LK make the save and a big brawl breaks out, and in the ring A1 is hit with the 3D. JJ and AMW join the fray and attack 3D and leave them laying, but Rhino makes the save and brawls with Jarrett to close the show.

I just noticed that Simon is using a shitty rip-off of his ECW theme, and it somehow sounds worse than the original version which sucked a ton. 3 Minute nothing showcase for the faces as it should be even if everyone on that not named Sabu mostly sucks. Swanton to Skipper ends it.

Post match, Abyss sneaks in behind Sabu and kills him with the BHS. Hardy and Lance fight him off and check on Sabu.

In the back, Jarrett does his rottenproko about TNA being against him and ALL that trash he's been saying since the first goddamn show. No really, he's been doing since 2002, like shut up and never speak again. Monty walks on, and Jarrett asks why he's stalking him. Monty laughs off and says he wants to know what he has on Larry to get this match as he deserves the next shot. Jarrett says he's playing the game because it's in his contract to get a rematch. Monty claps for him and says good job on that, and in heart of hearts he wants to beat him for the title. If you want to see total domination and what's in his near future, watch what he does next with the POUUUUUNCE. Period.

Match#2 Monty Brown vs Brian Gamble
Good squash for 2 and half minutes as tonight is long, so fuck it let him kill this nerd for a while. Tenay announces Monty vs Nero at Geneses in what could be a nightmare match. Monty hits three POUNCES to win.

GenNext start us off with a wonderful back and forth that's beyond smooth and crisp as they're so damn good together. Sonjay gets in next and shows off the skills with Shelley again, and Alex bumps his ass for him before dropping him and tagging in Joe. Joe murders him like always with sick offence and even breaks out the famous walk away dive spot. Daniels blind tags in and Joe shoots him a look. OH SHIT. AJ and Daniels fight for 10 seconds before Joe tags in and fights AJ again, and it's just perfect as hell. Aries gets back in and and kills Shelley and Daniels with the tope, but when he turns back around, JOE RUNS AT HIM FULL SPEED AND BOOTS HIM IN THE FACE AND SENDS HIM INTO THE RAIL. HOLY SHIT. He beats the dogshit out of him, and then tags in Daniels super hard and screams at him to prove himself. Aries quickly gets free and tags in AJ, who goes insane with his hot tag and fights Joe! He smacks the shit out of him but Joe doesn't go down, so AJ cracks him again as Joe screams at him, and AJ hits the Forearm to finally knock him down. AJ and Shelley have another sick 30 second fight and AJ drops him. Daniels gets back in and hell breaks loose and everyone goes insane and breaks out everything they can think of, and it's all smooth and amazing as hell. ARIES HITS JOE WITH THE CRUCIFIX BOMB AND GOES FOR THE 450, BUT SHELLEY SHOVES HIM OFF AND KILLS HIM WITH A TOPE. BACK IN THE RING AJ IS FIGHTING BOTH JOE AND DANIELS, AND THE HEELS MISS SHOTS ON HIM AND HIT EACH OTHER BY MISTAKE AND THEY GO NOSE TO NOSE AND AK PELE KICKS DANIELS IN THE HEAD AND HE FALLS ON JOE. SHELLEY GETS BACK IN AND TRIES TO ROLL HIM UP, BUT AJ COUNTERS IT INTO THE CLASH AND KILLS HIM FOR THE WIN. What a goddamn match.

in the back, Shane interviews Rhino and asks him if he has anything left in the tank after BFG. Rhino says he's a war machine who proven he can deal with politics, scumbags and everything else to get to where he is now. Raven walks on and yells at him for stealing his world title and shot. He says Rhino's pep talk has bought the old Raven back and he better not step into any dark alley ways. Blackshirts and Larry run on screen and drag Raven off!! Rhino shouts he's going to Gore Jarrett and retain his world title.

Match#4 Team 3D vs Eric Young & Bobby Roode w/Scott D'Amore
TC put their working boots on for 15 minutes as 3D are fat, lazy and wearing jeans to really show you how much they don't care about this. D-Von is isolated after a crappy opening flurry, and the boys work very hard during the control seg to beat him down and make it as interesting as possible as D-Von is a turd doing lazy bumps and not much else. EY really stands out with some great offence and cut offs, and it's so cool to see EY get a big shot. Bubba's hot tag is ass as he cares even less than D-Von, but TC bump their asses off again to make it work. The bullshit hits when TC and 3LK fight on the outside for the 400th time, and EY eats the 3D for the loss.

-Fun little brawl to start with Petey being ganged up on after the last match.
-The managers get involved for some shenanigans on the outside for something a little different at least.
-Bentley kills Sabin with a gross neckbreaker off the top of the truss set up.
-We get a dive train, and Petey nearly breaks his neck when he badly miss-times a rana and lands on his head.
-We come back from the break (which is why i hate these on TV tbh) and Petey is dropped kicked off the middle by Sabin after Matt holds him in place for it.
-Bentley works on Sabin's arm in a really smart idea, and finally climbs up, but petey cuts him off with a powerbomb like the last match
-PETEY GOES TO CLIMB BUT SABIN RUNS UP AFTER HIM AND HITS A FOLDING GERMAN SUPLEX TO SEND PETEY RIGHT ONTO HIS FACE. GODDAMN
-Shortly after, Petey goes to rana Sabin but he can't get him over, so Matt kicks Sabin in the face and Petey DRILLS him with it.
-Sabin tries to climb, but his arm is dead and he can't hold on, and Petey drags him down and hits the CD.
-The managers get into a cat fight as Petey and Matt fight on the ropes. Petey kicks him off and grabs the X to win again

In no way a bad match, but being on TV limits how nuts they can get and what we see with add breaks in between. But good on TNA for actually righting a wrong which few wrestling companies would actually do.

In the back, Team Canada are attacking 3LK with hockey sticks.

Match#6 Rhino (c) vs Jeff Jarrett w/Gail Kim (NWA-TNA Worlds Heavyweight Championship)
Good little back and forth to start with JJ using his speed to take on the big man, and it's a weird thing to type that out, but bless him for it. They get into the nonsense right away with a short crowd brawl and then Gail causes a distraction to help JJ shove him off the corner to take over. I don't hate JJ in ring at all as he always very good, but the booking and structure he puts himself in is some of the most abysmal and infuriating stuff in the world, JJ works the back with a bearhug for a while and its fine, but again weird way to do this. Rhino fights out and gets rid of Gail Kim. Jarrett puts him in the Figure Four, and Rhino's selling isn't a thing at all, and in fact, he looks really bad for the most part. Not sure why, but not his night at all. He fights back again and then the ref gets bumped and the dog and pony show hits with AMW getting involved by putting Rhino through a table with the Death Sentence. JJ brings back inside and hits the stroke to win the title back. FUCK

Monty Brown walks out to kick off the show to a pretty tame reaction from the fans. He repeats his points from last week about coming after Jarrett and the world title, so nothing new to report there. Abyss and Mitchell interrupt and say he must have been eating poison berries as his brain is not working at all if he thinks he's next. He mocks his football career, but then gives him props but says Abyss is the only man deserving of the next world title shot. They go to fight but Nero comes out now painted green and pink and brawls with both of them like a big dummy. The heels take him out and then fight amongst themselves until the blackshirts break it up.

Recap of last weeks amazing 6 man tag hits with an "ELIMINATION X graphic tomorrow night" flashing over the top of it.

At ringside, Daniels joins commentary as Tenay says Joe and Daniels will be on the same in an 8 man elimination match at Genesis. It will be Alex Shelley, Christopher Daniels, Roderick Strong & Samoa Joe vs Austin Aries, Chris Sabin, Matt Bentley & Sonjay Dutt. HOLY SHIT.

Match#1 Samoa Joe vs Austin Aries
Daniels is SUPER giddy about having Joe on his side, but DW doesn't see how they can get along after last week. Daniels says he's the leader and team captain of The Ministry and Joe understands that, so it'll be fine. Sick as hell 5 minute sprint with both dudes throwing it all out there for the world to see. Joe lays right into him to start with a big boot and beats his head in, so Aries fights from underneath and uses his speed to stay alive as best he can, but Joe is a motherfucker and keeps beating his ass more and more and wearing him down with gross shots. Aries tries the Brainbuster, but Joe counter and fucking deadlifts him to the corner and kills him with the Muscle Buster and Choke to win.

Post match, Joe and Daniels stare each other down.

In the back, D'Amore asks Larry if he can make it a Hockey Stick on a POLE match to make it as violent as possible. Larry is unsure until Scott talks about the potential buyrate being huge, so he agrees to it, but also makes Kip James the special guest referee. D'Amore is none too pleased about this. Hey, neither am i.

Match#2 Kip James vs Lex Lovett
Short nothing squash from this giant turd. Insane to think he's still on TV in 2024 being awful as hell 19 years after the fact. He wins with the One & Only

Post match, Team Canada come out with the stick to attack Kip, but 3LK make the save and beat them up. BG & Truth get in the ring with Kip while Konnan stay on the outside shaking his head.

Match#3 AJ Styles vs Petey Williams w/Scott D'Amore (Styles Clash vs Canadian Destroyer)
First man to hit his finish wins. If i wasn't 100% sure Russo isn't back until next October, i would say he's booking tonight with this and the pole match both happening. Good back and forth to start as these two always have good chemistry whenever they meet, and i always look forward to it. They have a lot of new cool counters for the other man's finish like a Pele kick out of the CD, or Petey flipping out and hitting a sick Neckbreaker out of the Clash attempt. AJ gets him in the Clash as Petey grabs onto the ropes, so AJ boots him in the back of the skull and tries it, but Petey grabs on the refs feet and shoves him over to knock him out. D'Amore gets involved so AJ goes after him which allows Petey to get the X title and hit AJ with it! He hits the CD as the ref gets back up to win.

In the back, Larry and Raven are with Shane Douglas. They go back and forth about how much they hate each other and whatnot. Larry says he can't be stuck worrying about him as he's too busy to deal with him. Raven calls it a failure to communicate and threatens to rip his arm off. Larry says he can't fire him, but he can put him through hell and give him any opponent he wants and that starts at Genesis. Larry then hands Raven a release form and offers him the chance to sign it and go do whatever he wants somewhere else away from TNA.. Raven throws it away and tries to strangle him before blackshirts drag him off. I hate this story so much, and it's only going to get fucking worse.

Match#4 Jeff Jarrett & America's Most Wanted w/Gail Kim vs Jeff Hardy, Lance Hoyt & Chris Sabin
What a random assortment of babyfaces tonight. Fun shine to start with the heels putting on the bumping boots as always, even if Nero doesn't deserve to have anyone bump for him at this stage. Nero is isolated after a lariat from Storm, and the control seg is good shit as they beat the hell out of him with good power stuff, and Nero bumps well for all of it. Also, he's painted pink and the boys are all covered in it. Lance has a bad hot tag before it all breaks down as it tends it. Jarrett and Sabin have a super fun fight for the last two minutes, i wish we had a longer match. Gail crotches Sabin on the top, and JJ hits the Super Stroke to win

Post match, Planet Jarrett try to take out Sabin, but Rhino makes the save and runs them off. They think they're safe, but Team 3D come out on the other side and everyone brawls to close out the show.

Another sweet intro video kicks us off.

Raven makes his way out for his match as Tenay says it's someone from his past. Raven gets in the ring where Larry is waiting for him. Larry says he bought this upon himself when he attacked him months ago and for blaming him for losing the title. He again offers him a full release paid out, or he makes his life a living hell as he did to him. Larry says he never realised so many people from Raven's past hated him so much, so Raven flips him the bird. Larry brings up Raven's girl troubles, so Raven tries to attack only to get held back. A terrible theme hits and it's Justin Credible under the name of PJ Polaco. YUCK

Match#1 Raven vs PJ Polaco
Raven's gut is expanding a lot, sadly. Credible has never been good outside of a few carry jobs from far better wrestlers, and Raven is cooked and can't do that. Raven tries to work on the mat but he's too fat and slow to make it work, so it's awful. Credible attacks the arm with lame weak offence that stinks, but Raven's selling is at least good. Cassidy Riley tries to help and ends up getting canned for his troubles. Raven has a bad comeback and wins with the Evenflow. Worst Raven match ever, and i hate everything.

In the back, 3LK cut the same horrid promo they've been cutting about TC literarily for the last year and change. BG calls Kip family and says he knows he'll have their back, and then asks K-Dawg to trust him. Konnan gets pissed as hell and shouts he'll never trust him. Great.

Match#2 3 Live Kru vs Bobby Roode, A1 & Eric Young w/Scott D'Amore (Hockey Sticks on a Pole. Special Guest Referee-Kip James)
Kip is wearing the same getup as ST Valentines Massacre in the only cool thing he's done in years. You can only get the stick down if you're legal, which is at least a good addition to this. For the 500th time this is a match taking place with good and bad wrestlers for several minutes in a professional wrestling environment . Konnan is the first to get the stick down and places his shoe over it when he hits people because he's the worst human ever. More wrestling and stick hitting happens as does Kip stopping everyone from cheating as he's a nice man now. EY is wazzup dropped with a stick over his balls to give 3LK the win.
NO MAS.

Post match. Kip offers his hand to Konnan. K-Dawg gives him a fist bump to finally become best pals.

In the back, Shane is with Abyss & Mitchell. Shane asks about the rumours of a brand new talent acquisition coming to TNA, and James says he doesn't care who you are, you will not be leap frogging over Abyss, or you're getting hit with the BHS. Mitchell says the no DQ was added because Sabu worked out what Abyss was afraid of, and he could never possibly understand what barbed wire does to a man like Abyss. He was nearly cured of his phobia, but he ripped over the puss filled scab of that memory and has now sealed his fate. He pulls out an egg and says it's Sabu's brain in the hands of a monster, and Abyss then crushes it.

At ringside, Mike and DW talk about this new talent coming in and how it's making everyone very nervous to see who they side with. They run down the rest of the card as now the show can finally start after getting past the trash. As they're talking, someone shows up in the back and we follow his or her legs as they walk out to the zone. Some amazing music hits...



IT'S CHRISTIAN CAGE. FUCKING GOD YES.

The Zone goes insane in a wonderful, wonderful heartwarming moment for our guy who should have gotten the world title in WWE after all his amazing work over 02-05, but Vince is a shitbag cunt that couldn't see it. So his loss is TNA's gain.

After he soaks in the reaction he gets the mic and starts to talk, and i'm going to post the entire promo because it's fantastic.

"So I guess you can imagine the question I got asked the most this week. Are the rumours we're hearing true? Is it true you're going to TNA? And if so, why?' Well I'll tell you this much, I'll tell you this much, I didn't come out here to see the same damn guy say the same damn thing week after week after week. And I didn't come here to see a grown man, dressed like a doctor, pulling things out of another man's ass. And you can be damn sure I didn't come here because I got fired.

Which brings me to another rumour I wanna address and put to bed right now, the rumour that I got lowballed in a contract offer. Well that's not true at all. See I was offered a very hefty sum to stay exactly where I was. But the reason I came to TNA is the same reason why each and every one of you is in this arena right now, the same reason why everyone's watching Genesis live on Pay-Per-View. And that reason is that I love wrestling!

Now you know, I've been known to crack a joke or two, say something sarcastic, pull a rib. But I don't want anybody to ever forget the fact that I am, without a doubt, the best all around performer in this sport today. It's like this. I'm tired of egos and politics. I wanna see guys in this ring busting their asses. I wanna see wrestling reinvented. Like last night, I turn on SpikeTV, I'm watching Impact-a little plug for you - and it reminded me of when I broke onto the national wrestling scene 8 years ago. There were two companies. One was old, stale, and lacking direction. The other one I was a part of. It was young, hungry, and cutting edge. Fast forward 8 years to this very moment, and there's still two companies. One is old, boring, and lacking direction. And the other one is TNA!

And I said this is something that I wanna be a part of. In fact, I wanna be the biggest piece of this puzzle. Which brings me to Jeff Jarrett. I've got two things to say to you. One - you should never wear white pants after Labor Day. And two - I've come to TNA to take the one thing that's eluded me my entire career. The one thing we can both agree on is the most important and prized possession in this sport, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. So I want everyone right now to stand up and take notice that Christian Cage is here. And Christian Cage will fulfil his destiny. Because THAT'S HOW I ROLL"

An incredible mission statement that sets the tone for this killer run.

Team Canada's music hits and D'Amore & Roode come out to the ring looking super happy to see a fellow Canadian. Scott says he's been looking for him all night, and no one is happier about him being here than him. Scott goes over memories of them coming up together with Edge working with bad promoters and staying in crappy hotels. Times with Bret Hart and Stu stretching Edge's ass. They've come a long and there a bigger things ahead for them, and he heard what he said about Jarrett and the world title, and he gets it. But he knows that Christian understands aligning himself with people in the back, and Petey is about to take the X-Title to add to the others. So, he needs to join the fold and help lead TNA. Christian goes to ask a question, but Roode grabs the mic and says he asks nothing. He has a chance to walk into TNA and be part of something they've been busting their asses for the last 3 years to build. It's quite simple Captain Charisma, you're either with them or against us. We want an answer right now. They go nose to nose before D'Amore gets them apart. Scott says they don't need the answer right now as they've got time, but he needs one by the end of the night and he knows he'll make the right choice. He hands him a Team Canada shirt. Christian says it's the right size, but he needs some time to see if it's the right fit.

Absolutely masterful stuff.

Hype for Monty/Nero.

In the back, Shane talks to Monty about him now being leapfrogged by Christian tonight, and how if he loses to Hardy, he's getting knocked all the way down. Monty says Cage reeks and his head is going to roll if he steps to him. He will not be denied as he's worked too hard to have anyone take this from him. He's going to big major game hunting. Nero and Cage are acquiring a POUNCE.

Match#3 Monty Brown vs Jeff Hardy (#1 Contenders Match)
To pay tribute to the worst ladder match in TNA history, in his last big PPV match in this run, Nero paints himself neon green and looks hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh as shit. Awful opening fight as he's slow on everything and moving bad, and Monty's not doing much to try and help, so it's a big old mess. Nero nearly breaks his knee on the rail runner as he falls off and just misses it. Monty takes over with a belly to belly on the floor and beats his ass, and it's a lot of fun as he keeps it simple and basic. Nero's comeback is sloppy and whatever, but Monty bumps big for it to help him out. Monty kicks out of the TOF, and then rolls out of the way of the Swanton and Pounces this green man to win.

Hype for Elimination X.

In the back, Daniels, Shelley and Roddy are with Shane. Alex says 3 is a party, but 4 is a party is as well and he wants to know where Joe is. Daniels says not to worry about Joe as his head in the right place and will be there for the team when the time is right just as they will be. Shane asks why he's the leader of this ministry, so Daniels says who else but the longest reigning X-Division champion a 13 year vet and the best wrestler in the world, the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels, could possibly lead this team. He takes the boys with him as Shane seems to not trust his words.

Match#4 Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Alex Shelley & Roderick Strong vs Chris Sabin, Austin Aries, Sonjay Dutt & Matt Bentley w/Traci (Elimination X)
Joe looks incredibly annoyed by Shelley trying to high five him in a very funny moment. Opening ten is a tremendous mix of feeling out and then everyone getting into it.. Lots of brand new matchups happen along with the old ROH classics, and it's a perfect storm of killer pro wrestling under the bright lights. GenNext again go insane and show the world how good they are and why TNA should invest but a snowstorm during an ROH show will murder that dream. Joe makes Sonjay his bitch again in my new favourite bully story in TNA. Joe and Aries fight again and even in the 30 seconds it gets, it's sooooo good as Joe CRACKS him with a gross running boot that sends Aries onto his face in a heap. Daniels and Sabin fight as well for the first time in months, and Sabin breaks out new rana's and smooth moves to own him, but Joe sneaks a knee into the back to isolate him briefly. Fun stuff there before Aries has a sweet hot tag showing it all off as 2005 Aries is different beast. It all breaks down and everyone gets their shit in, in. cool ways as they go for broke with high impact moves and a dive train from the faces. Aries and Roddy have the ring alone and go at it for a minute or so and it rocks. Aries kills him with the Brainbuster and 450 to get rid of him. Joe then distracts him so Daniels can run in and roll him up with the tights to even it up. It slows down and the faces isolate Shelley and beat him down, and that's good stuff as Sonjay again steps up big and works his ass off. Shelley catches him with a kick to the guts and locks in the BSC as the heels fight the faces, and Sonjay taps out. Bentley is in next and hits a flash Superkick to eliminate Shelley, and the Zone loves it because they're the worst. Sabin goes insane now trying to get rid of Daniels as he hits him with bomb after bomb and gets closer and closer, but Joe tags in and kills him before he can. Joe and Daniels work really well together tagging and in and out and watching each others backs. They do a Tower of Doom to kill everyone, and Joe then singles out Bentley for a great little fight. BENTLEY JUMPS ON DANIELS SHOULDERS FOR SOMETHING, BUT JOE RUNS OVER AND PUNCHES MATT IN THE FACE AND DRAGS HIM OFF DANIELS SHOULDERS AND HITS THE MUSCLE BUSTER AND LOCKS IN THE CHOKE TO BEAT HIM. AMAZING. Sabin is all alone and does his best to fight them and with a flurry to drop them both, and he once again gets super, super close to pulling it off. He tries the Cradle Shock on both, but they save each other from it. Joe goes for the Muscle Buster again, but Matt Bentley trips Joe and drags him out to the floor. Back in the ring, Sabin walks into the Angels Wings and Daniels beats him.

Post match, Joe gets in Daniels face and yells at him for how that ended. Daniels tries to explain it from his side as DW and Tenay say he got the victory for the team. Joe backs off and they share a fist bump together. Daniels turns back around, AND JOE RUNS AT HIM AND BOOTS HIM IN THE FACE TO SEND HIM TO THE OUTSIDE. HE GETS A CHAIR AND SMASHES IT OVER HIS SKULL TO BUST HIM WIDE OPEN. JOE SITS HIM ON ANOTHER CHAIR AND HITS THE OLE KICK TO SEND HIS FACE INTO THE GUARD RAIL. HE PUNCHES AT THE CUT AND SMEARS THE BLOOD ON HIS CHEST. HE ROLLS HIM BACK IN THE RING AND HITS THE MUSCLE BUSTER. JOE GRABS ANOTHER CHAIR AND KILLS SOME BLACKSHIRTS WHEN THEY GO TO STOP HIM. JOE PICKS HIM BACK UP AND SLAPS HIM IN THE FACE AND HITS A FUCKING MUSCLE BUSTER ON TO THE CHAIR TO SEND HIS HEAD AND SHOULDERS INTO IT. JESUS FUCK. JOE STANDS OVER HIM AND SAYS HE WANRED HIM. THE FANS CHANT ONE MORE TIME AS JOE SMILES LIKE A SICK BASTARD AND HIS EYES ROLL IN THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AS HE LOOKS LIKE HE'S REACHED NIRVANA. Refs get in the ring as do EMT's and they check on Daniels and prepare a stretcher for him. THE CROWD EXPLODES AS AJ STYLES WALKS OUT ON THE STAGE. HE LOOKS DOWN AT THE RING LOOKING CONCERNED AND PISSED AS HELL ALL IN ONE. Tenay talks about their rivalry and how respect has to come from those battles. Joe walks out through the crowd. Daniels is taken out on the other side as AJ shakes his head and walks back up the ramp.

One of the single best double turns you'll ever see, and the perfect next step for all 3 men as now this goes in brand new directions. Kudos TNA for the best stuff.

In the back, Planet Jarrett talk about how they've been calling this for months and months about all these people coming in so they can get rid of them as the cornerstones of TNA. Harris says they didn't realise how dumb they were, and they carried them out and they should have stayed buried. Storm laughs and says he's happy they came back as now they can bury them again. Sorry, bout your damn luck. Jarrett tells Christian to pick a side.

In the back, Daniels is loaded into an ambulance as DW watches on.

Hype for Sabu/Abyss.

Match#5 Sabu vs Abyss w/James Mitchell (No DQ)
TNA should have opened with this and used Raven as the death slot. Still, a pretty fun fight between these two as they use a chair in cool ways to cripple each other, and slowly ramp up the violence. Sabu hits him in the face with a chair and then hits a flipping Air-Sabu to send him through a table in a real sick bump for Abyss as his face splats off it. Mitchell brings in the tacks to even it up, so Sabu gets a chair covered in wire. Mitchell hits it away with his cane before Abyss can see it and freak out in a great bit. Abyss chokeslams Sabu into the tacks to send them right into his back. He goes for a splash but Sabu move, and Abyss eats shit and goes face first into them and they go into his hands and arms as well! They have a fun battle over the tacks and the chair, and Abyss hits the BHS to slam Sabu into the chair and that's that.

Hype for AJ/Petey.

In the back, AJ is with Shane Douglas. He's asked about the attack on Daniels and how he feels. AJ says he doesn't know what to think about this, but Joe has gone against what the X-Division is about. He and Daniels have never seen eye to eye, in fact, he doesn't even like him, but he respects him. They have an unwritten code in the X-Division and Samoa Joe has violated it and that will be dealt with. Douglas asks how he's going to avoid the CD, and AJ deadpans and replies "BY NOT TAKING IT" The CD might be the coolest move in the world, but it's not Phenomenal like the Styles Clash. Wonderful follow up to earlier.

Match#6 AJ Styles (c) vs Petey Williams w/AI (NWA-TNA X-Divison Championship)
Petey is now introduced as "The Canadian Destroyer" in a killer nickname. The ring is now covered in tons of blood from Daniels and Sabu, and it's a gnarly sight. DW and Teney gush over the ratings on Spike and hype the DVD's coming out, and that's great as well. Really good back and forth like last night for the reasons i said there. AJ moves ahead after the Dropkick and starts cleaning Petey's clock getting his anger out on him. AJ HITS A RUNNING SUMMERSAULT AND HAS SO MUCH SPEED HE BOUNCES OFF PETEY AND OVER THE RAIL INTO THE CROWD. A1 gets involved to turn the tide, AND PETEY AND AJ FIGHT ON THE APRON AND PETEY GERMAN SUPLEXS HIM OFF TO SEND AJ BACK FIRST INTO THE GUARD RAIL. WHAT THE FUCK MAN. The ref kicks A1 out, but the damage is done and then some. Petey targets the back and beats the snot out of it, and AJ is purple and badly hurt. So, it's a wonderful control seg. Petey keeps cutting him off and hurting the back even more, and AJ's bumps are nutty as heck. Petey really lays into him as he's getting really good as this and making me eat shit for not enjoying him. AJ mounts a pissed off comeback with the Pele Kick and beats the fuck out of him, all while selling the damage with the pain on his face. They move into the finishing run and it's a sweet back and forth with lots of cool counters and super close calls as they ramp it up and go for broke. They fight on the top and AJ shoves him off and signals for the Tap, BUT HE TURNS HIS HEAD TO THE RAMP WHERE SAMOA JOE IS STANDING WITH A TOWEL AROUND HIS NECK COVERED IN DANIELS BLOOD. Petey gets back up and fights him and tries a suplex, BUT AJ MUSCLES HIM INTO THE STYLES CLASH AND STARES DOWN JOE AS HE JUMPS OFF WITH IT AND KILLS PETEY AND BEATS HIM. HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

In the back, Shane is with the Babyface team. He makes ECW puns like a dork, and Bubba says it'll be like nothing he's ever seen before. He repeats his promo about the funeral and how they're coming for revenge. Rhino is very mad and swears revenge on them. Bubba ends it with a tribute to Eddie "Vaya Con Dios, Mi Amigo"

Match#7 Jeff Jarrett & America's Most Wanted w/Gail Kim vs Rhino & Team 3D
TNA Asylum Zone brawl kicks us off as everyone fights in the crowd and at ringside, and i can't lie i've missed this a touch. It also helps that AMW are the best and fit right into this and make it far cooler than it probably would be with a lesser team. Tons of great strikes and big bumps. Rhino and Jarrett brawl near the stage where Rhino press slams him through a row of chairs for a sick one. The teams brawl on the other side and take good ones as well, and this is the first time 3D truly look like they care, so at least they're not dogging it on PPV yet. STORM HURLS A BEER BOTTLE AT BUBBA'S HEAD, BUT HE SADLY MISSES AND IT SHATTERS ON A WALL. They bust out cheese graters and other plunda to make it cooler and bloodier, and i'm here for it as you know. I'm a simple man. AMW bleed like stuck pigs as they again rock in this type of match, and it's the best seeing them main event again after a year of awful booking, AMW isolate 3D in the ring and beat the piss out of them, while Rhino and JJ fight on the outside. They go for the DS on D-Von through a table, but Bubba saves and shoves Harris off the floor. 3D beats Storm with the 3D.

Post match, JJ kills Rhino with the guitar. He tries to attack 3D, but they fight him off and lay him on a table. They go to powerbomb Gail through him, but TC make the save and beat the Dudz down. Christian's music hits and he runs down with a chair and chases everyone but D'Amore and JJ off. He throws the chair down and takes his jacket off to show he's wearing the Team Canada shirt. He hugs D'Amore!! NAH, HE HITS THE UNPRETTIER ON HIM! The Dudz get back in and throw Jarrett off the top rope, and they and Christian 3D him through a table. He rips the shirt off to show a TNA one as the crowd loses their minds.

Tonight; Christian Cage makes his Spike TV Debut.

Match#1 Samoa Joe vs Jarelle Clark
Incredible squash as now Joe is a heel and can even more violent and mean than ever before. Tenay announces we will have an update on Daniels next week as he is at home in LA. Joe wreaks the kid in amazing ways and wins with the Combo.

Post match, Joe holds the choke in for a minute until he finally lets him go. AJ shows up on the video screen and talks about the code that Joe has now broken, and how he stepped on them and the fans. Joe turns his back and AJ shouts at him not to do that. He's giving him a massive opportunity by issuing a title challenge for Joe at Turning Point. His win streak vs his title, BIG MAN. AHHHH YES.

At ringside, DW announces it will be Sabu vs Abyss in BARBED WIRE MASSACRE.

Jeff Jarrett and Gail come out to the boot and demand to know who he's facing at Turning Point. Mike says Larry is on a call right now to determine who Jeff will be facing. Jeff and Gail walk off very mad. Um, Monty won on Sunday, so he's the rightful #1 contender. Super weird.

Match#2 America's Most Wanted vs Sonny Siaki & Apollo
Not the best showcase for AMW as these two are awful and have long since stopped even trying to be ok at this. Storm smashes a bottle over Apollo's head, and Harris cracks the handcuffs on Sonny's face. Death Sentence beats Sonny.

Post match, AMW get out a table and spraypaint 3D on it to send a message. 3D run down and chases them off. Bubba gets the mc and says they just spoke to Larry and he has made a Tables Match at Turning Point. Bubba and D-Von grab the table and chuck it up the ramp at AMW.

In the back, Jarrett, Gail and Shane are standing out the front of Larry's office. He refuses to answer them, so Gail tries to call but it goes straight to his voicemail.

Recap of all the horrible happenings in 3LK and their dealings with Kip.

In the back, Shane says 3LK will talk about the future next week. Truth gets mad he wasn't told, so BG says it's all good and there will be a good change for the Kru K-Dawn says he's not thinking straight and maybe he should go back to rehab. BG begs them to trust him as always, so Konnan says he hates cliffhangers and he wants some answers. BG says he's got people he needs to speak to, so Konnan says he's got a few people he needs to holler at as well, and walks off. Truth says he's sick of being in the middle of this and BG needs to fix it.

Match#3 Abyss w/James Mitchell vs Rhino
Cool big vs little monster to start with Rhino using his speed to get the best of him for a while, and the big man bumps his ass off in ways a dude his size shouldn't be able to. Mitchell distracts him so Abyss can crotch him on the post. Control is short and fun stuff as Abyss is mad and clobbers the hell out of him with boots and cool offence, and Rhino's selling is very good. His comeback is short and fine before they go back to a monster fight with some near falls and whatnot. Rhino brings in a table and they fight over it, and Rhino misses a Gore and goes through it. Abyss goes for the kill but the lights go out and Sabu is at ringside with the wire chair in hand. Abyss freaks out and turns around into the Goreeeeeeee for the loss.

In Larry's office, Jeff is mad and screams he thought they had a deal/ Larry says the deal is off and he's now facing Rhino at Turning Point. Jeff brings up Raven never getting his rightful rematch, so Larry responds that he thought he hated Raven. "I DO, BUT FAIR IS FAIR, LARRY" AMAZING. Jeff also says Monty never got a shot either and that's not fair. He knows that after he beats Rhino they'll slip Christian in the backdoor for a shot. He says he knows TNA suits are running the show and he's had enough. Gail tells Larry is on thin ice. TNA now addressing the awful main event booking gives me hope it might get fixed.

Christian Cage comes out to the ring for his TV debut. He says he's ruffled some feathers since his debut at Genesis after what he said there. He's here because this is the place to be, to get the damn respect he deserves. He came to TNA to take the NWA World Championship, and if any of the boys have a problem with it,(he starts fake crying) he doesn't care because that's how he rolls. Monty's music hits and walks out and says to pump the brakes on this garbage. He's not up north anymore, he's in the Serengeti. He hasn't proven anything to him yet. He brings up his clothes and says they shouldn't be worn ever. Monty has rolled over everyone put in his path, and the only way he's getting leapfrogged is if he lays down, and he lays down for no man. He's going to make him feel the...Cage cuts him off and says he knows he like to hurl his body and pounce on men. He doesn't judge what he does in his personal time. He's afraid of losing his spot, and he damn sure should be. Unless he wants to nut up, he needs to find someone else to pounce. Monty punches him and they have a super fun fight with Cage throwing some awesome babyface punches. Monty kills him with the Pounce and stands over him to close the show.

The jobber is a fat dude who looks like a Viking larper. Monty kills him in 15 seconds with the Pounce.

A recap about the happenings of 3LK airs.

3LK and Kip make their way out to the ring. BG thanks the people in back for letting them come out here and air some dirty laundry and get the stench out of the air. He loves them, and he loves Kip, they're all family to him. Konnan runs down Kip's history and says this ain't right. BG asks how Kip is meant to react when Konnan cusses at him in Spanish and never gives him a chance. Do you want a cupcake? He asks Truth to vote yes or no to let Kip into the family. Truth says he never doubted him, so any family of his is family to him. They hug. BG and Konnan get into it again, so BG says he's had enough of his bitching, and it's time to be with them or against them. He's never giving him a reason to doubt him, so trust him one more time and let him in. Konanan finally accepts him into the Krew has his brother, and he hugs Kip. 4LK is now here.

We go to a pre-tape with Daniels doctor. He says Chris has suffered the most serious of concussions after being knocked out by Joe, and he will not clear him until he passes all the tests to safely return to the ring.

Match#2 AJ Styles vs Chris Sabin
Hey, an actual dream match. Sick feeling out to start with Sabin showing he's not just hype, and he can more than hang with AJ on the mat. Sabin hits a stunning rana, so AJ hits dat dropkick to crush his face and move ahead with a great beating. DW talks about this match being what the code of the X-Division is all about. Almost like it's a code of honor, or something. Sabin refuses to die and fights back and drops AJ a few times with some killer moves that AJ can't counter in time, and he really beats him up. AJ rules at fighting from underneath as now he's mad and throwing super hard shots at this little shit whenever he can. Joe comes out and watches from the stage with the towel around his neck. Sabin uses this to hurt AJ more and gets super close to beating him, but AJ breaks out another nutty counter as Sabin tries to get him off of him by bouncing him into the ropes, but AJ holds on and flips back over into the Styles Clash to beat the kid.

Recap of the hideous Raven/Larry stuff

In the back, Raven is sitting in a car where Larry walks over and gives him the release papers again to sign, but Raven throws them away. Larry says he's now making a Clockwork House of Fun match for next week! Raven says he won't be held responsible for what he does next.

In the back, Christian tells Monty to throw a coma and semi colon in as he's not great at English. He wants him at Turning Point, so Larry has made the match. He needs to worry about Cage going through him. Gail walks on and gets in his face for turning against Jarrett, and AMW walk on scene and get in his face as well. It was a bad move. Storm says payback is a bitch and there is no way on God's green earth he's getting near Jeff Jarrett. Sorry, bout your damn luck.

Match#3 Jeff Hardy vs Abyss w/James Mitchell
Nero is red tonight and looks even worse than the PPV. Sloppy, botchy and not giving a shit as he's gone in a few weeks, so fuck it. Abyss is Abyss and does things well to his credit, but Nero is a sack of painted rotten fruit that stinks the place up. Abyss again is distracted by Sabu at ringside, and it lets Jeff hit him with two chair shots right in front of the ref without being DQ?????? Nero hits a bad TOF to win.

They air a really cool video on Rhino's life in Detroit and all the ups and downs that have bought him here. It's sad to think had ECW not died, or he hadn't broken his neck in 2001, his career is vastly different. Poor dude just couldn't catch a break.

Match#4 Jeff Jarrett w/Gail Kim vs Kip James
Uhhhhh, why. No for real, why is TNA running this back like it's 99 or 95, maybe. Kip is trash, so Jarrett works it as a an Impact Zone brawl in the only smart way to do this. It's fine thanks to JJ being JJ, but it's also a massive waste of time because fuck Kip. Jackie Gayda makes her debut by getting in Jeff's face screaming about him picking the wrong girl??? She slaps him and fights Gail for some goddamn reason. The ref is distracted by this and it allows Roode to come down and break a stick over Kip's head, and Jarrett nails the Stroke to win.

BG comes down and fights Jarrett until Roode attacks him as well, The rest of the Kru joins as do Team Canada for another show ending brawl.

Awful episode.
