In the back, Shane and Traci are standing by. Shane says people have been playing a political game to keep them apart, but they're back together and stronger than ever. It was part of a major plan. Traci rubs her hands over him and says he looked sexy with the X-Division title and she wants him to get it back for her. Oh, no.

In the ring, Tenay brings out our new worlds champ AJ Styles. He's holding the most important title in the world and this might sound cheesy, but he's not here without all the fans behind him. Tenay says Abyss is the #1 contender and he's coming for him. AJ says Lockdown was one of the most gruelling matches of his life, sadly Jarrett's music hits because fuck moving onto a new heel and face in the world title picture. Jarrett says they should be ashamed of themselves for doing this after it took 2 men to steal the title from him. He says he's using his rematch clause at Slammiversay. AJ dares him to fight him now and he lays the title down in the middle of the ring! Monty runs through the crowd and attacks AJ from behind and kicks the shit out of him as JJ laughs. It turns into a cool fight before Jeff turns the tide on him. Abyss comes out now and teases siding with AJ, but it's a classic swerve as he murders AJ with a massive Black Hole Slam when he gets o his feet. Waltman and AMW run down with chairs to make the save.

In the back, JJ is screaming at Dusty Rhodes about screwing him over time and time again. Dusty says he can have the rematch IN KING OF THE MOUNTAIN!!!! He adds Abyss and Monty to the match and says a wildcard will be in this as well. Jeff laughs as it dawns on him that the numbers are on his side this time.

Back in the Zone, Raven storms the booth and yells at Larry Zbyszko to make him the wildcard in the match. Larry says he has to wait to see who it will be, and Raven says he's an old cripple with bad ankles held together by tape. He's been living off fighting Bruno for a decade and he's had enough. He slaps Larry and keeps ranting, AND LARRY GETS UP AND PUNCHES HIM IN THE FACE AND THEY HAVE A WONDERFUL FIGHT. RAVEN THROWS A CHAIR IN HIS FACE AND KILLS HIM WITHT TWO EVENFLOWS AND SCREAMS HE WILL DESTROY THIS COMPANY IF HE'S NOT THE WILDCARD. Raven attacks blackshirts when they try and stop him. Dusty now walks out and screams how dare he put his hands on a TNA offical. As of this moment he is suspended. Raven says he's quits and walks out. Wonderful stuff.

in the back, Killings is yelling at BG for not having his back at the PPV, and he wants to know if they have heat. Uhhhhg. Truth wants to know the deal with him and Outlaw, and BG says it's not true they're still the Krew. Truth says this is all his fault before walking off.

During Daniels' intro he's confronted by Shane and Traci. Daniels shoves them away and tells them to piss off, and Shane actually backs off and leaves.

Match#2 Christopher Daniels vs Cassidy Riley
Fantastic Daniels showcase as he gets a few minutes to showoff his stuff. A lot like the ones i've been watching in 85, he just gets it all meant to be about him beating a dorks ass with ease. Angels Wings dose it

SHANE RUNS BACK DOWN AND HITS DANIELS IN THE FACE WITH THE TITLE. Sabin runs down and tries to save but Shane ducks and he takes out Daniels with a dropkick. All 3 fight each other until blackshirts drag them apart.

In the back, AJ walks into Dusty's lockeroom and says he's done with this. Jarrett is trying to ruin the show they've worked for and now Raven is doing the same. He can't wait until June 19th to get his hands on Jarrett, so Dusty makes a tag match where AJ can pick anyone he wants to face Jeff and Monty. Hell yeah.

Match#3 Petey Williams & Eric Young w/Scott D'Amore vs America's Most Wanted (#1 Contenders Match)
Not sure how AMW are in this considering they just lost to the Nats. Awesome opening with Storm beating the fuck out of the boys in super angry fashion, and DW notes that AMW seems to be letting everything get to them lately. We come back from the break with Petey in control of Harris. Good control seg with EY doing the bulk of it with great offence and cut offs. Storm has a fun hot tag cleaning house before it breaks down. Lots of close calls and A1 getting involved to turn the tide. Petey slips out of Storm's arms and rolls him up to steal it.

Match#4 Abyss vs Chris Sabin
Hell yeah this episode. Sabin uses his speed to stick and move and keep the monster on the backfoot and he does pretty well for the opening minutes. He hits a stunning rana off the top to send Abyss flying, but he gets caught on a second attempt and Abyss rams his head into the steps to take over. Killer control seg with tons of power moves and wicked Sabin selling throughout. Chris slowly fights back and gets closer and closer to knocking the big man down and getting something going, and he rules so much as a plucky underdog fighting big ugly motherfuckers. Sabin dropkicks a chair into Abyss' face and gets him up for the shock, but Traci runs down and distracts the ref and Shane slides in and kills Sabin with the superkick. Abyss then hits the Shock Treatment to win.

Post match, the new trio celebrate. Fuck yeah proto Planet Jarrett. NAH ABYSS MURDERS JARRETT WITH THE BLACK HOLE SLAM AND STARES DOWN MONTY TO CLOSE THE SHOW. FUCK YEAH.

This is the last Impact on FSN has the contract wasn't renewed, sadly. There's no more TV until the week after Slammiversary on the 24th of June when they start putting them online. They'll get signed to Spike in October and the rest is history.

BG & Ron Killing come out for their match and Truth snatches the mic away when BG attempts to do his intro. Truth says he can talk to him before he speaks to anyone else, and BG is very sad and confused.

We see clips of AMW arguing after their loss last week

Match#1 America's Most Wanted vs BG James & Ron Killings
Really good match as the 3 wrestlers work really hard, and BG doesn't fuck too much up. AMW get super aggressive with 3LK as they beat the shit out of them, and even drop some trash talk for the first time. They make pretty good heels... 3LK keep arguing and being dicks to each other, and it's hard not to side with Truth given what a tool BG has been since his old friend showed up. Storm gets a chair and slides in to Harris who weirdly now hesitates to use it, and Truth runs over and hits an Axe kick to send him face first into it to win.

Post match, AMW argue and walk out on each other.

Back in the ring, BG and Truth also argue, AND BG SHOVES TRUTH OUT OF THE WAY AND TAKES A LARIAT FROM OUTLAW RUNNING IN FROM BEHIND. Truth fights Outlaw and Konnan makes his return and has a bad fight with Outlaw as well. He throws a shoe at him, and then Truth throws one at BG. Outlaw runs for it as 3LK argue with each other. You gotta love family drama.

In the back, Terry Taylor is with AMW. Harris says they can have a slump like everyone else, but they're going to pick it back up. Storm says they're making a change at the next PPV starting with 3LK. HERE WE FUCKING GO.

Match#2 Zach Gowen vs Romeo
TNA is now giving Gowen showcase matches lmao. Really. bad as he's not only got one leg, but now he doesn't have freaks of WWE 2003 to bump or kill him. Tenay announces Daniels vs Sabin vs Shelley at the PPV. Gowen wins with the Moonsault

In the back, Sabin says he should have never trusted Traci and he's at fault for this. Trinity walks over and says they should work together after what's happened to them. Sabin reluctantly agrees.

Scott D'Amore joins commentary.

Match#3 Lance Hoyt vs Bruno Sassi
Bruno is one of the PDS fat fucks and he sucks a ton, so this is a bad squash for the zones new favourite wrestler. Tenay says Hoyt will be facing Roode at the PPV, in a really weird choice. Hoyt wins with a Moonsault.

Post match, Lance kicks the other fat fuck in the face for being a dick. D'Amore gets the mic and says Roode will teach him a very painful lesson of what happens when you mess with him. Roode sneaks in from behind and hits Lance with a hockey stick a few times as D'Amore shouts he's done for.

We see footage of Raven running over a camera man last week when he was suspended. He jims the camera and says this is a conspiracy from Dusty to stop his destiny. He's going to make everyone suffer and cry and show them why he's the human cancer of TNA. He will never give up fighting for what he wants and needs, the NWA world title. The blood is on Dusty's hands.

In the back, The Nats say they more than ready to fight Team Canada thanks to the help of a legend in their corner.

Match#4 The Naturals vs Lex Lovett & David Young
Fine squash for the Nats. Natural Disaster gets it done.

In the back, Jarrett rants about Abyss making the worst choice of his career last week when he attacked him. He and monty have the numbers games, and Monty looks at him like he's an idiot.

Sean Waltman is AJ's parter. Love to see he's here for a while (well, until he shows he's still an asshole, but we'll cover that when its time to cover it)

Match#5 AJ Styles & Sean Waltman vs Monty Brown & Jeff Jarrett
The faces have the classic opening as they own the heels with an array of wonderful kicks and massive spots from AJ. Pac looks very good again and he's still got that chemistry with Jarrett. Abyss watches on the stage. Monty isolates him and the control is really good thanks to JJ being in charge of beating the fuck out of Pac. He breaks out a wonderful dropkick right to the face to send Pac's head into the mat in a really nasty bump. AJ gets the tag and goes fucking wild on them before Jarrett pulls the rope down when he tries to run them and falls outside. Jarrett is distracted by the ref when he tries to steal the guitar and Pac holds Monty in place and Jeff turns back around and swings without looking and brains Monty! Pac kicks him out of the ring and AJ hits the Spiral Tap on Monty to win.

Incredible opening video detailing the history of the last 3 years.

We go clips from the preshow where Jarrett and Raven had a fight in the ring that was broken up by blackshirts. Jarrett was standing at ringside where a fan kept yelling at him, so he dragged the fan over the rail and beat the fuck out of him and got himself arrested and is now out of the main event. AND NOW LARRY HAS PLACED RAVEN IN THE MAIN EVENT AS HE'S GOT NO OTHER CHOICE AT THIS LATE STAGE. OH MY GOD THANK YOU.

Match#1 Amazing Red vs Shark Boy vs Zack Gowen vs Elix Skipper vs Jarrelle Clark vs Delirious
Tenay explains this is opening as a way of showcasing the division in the biggest show to date, but opening with the title match would have achieved that in a far better and more impactful way. Still, this is a cool 6 minute spotfest with everyone going crazy to showcase themselves in the biggest chance most of them have had at this point. Gowen is again the worst and really shouldn't be here, but the other 5 more than make up for it. Big dive train with Red topping everyone with the Infrared. Everyone hits their finish in the last minutes and Sharky beats the Lizard with the Deep Sea Drop.

In the back, Shocker in interviewed (and he's now dressed as 2000 Rey Mysterio). He says he's the best wrestler in the world, and ALEX SHELLEY WALKS ON. He says he's a great luchadore, but he's not an unholy hybrid wrestler like him. He can do his lucha libre, European catch-as-can, American pro wrestling, Japanese strong style and even MMA if it's needed. He has a counter for everything he can do. God yes.

Match#2 Alex Shelley vs Shocker
Alex is now here full time until he leaves in 2012, and i can't be any happier because i adore this man. Really cool mat work to start with Alex breaking out some wild stuff, and Shocker meets him right there and does some fancy stuff of his own to go hold for hold for Alex. Shocker moves ahead and starts getting Alex to make mistakes. Alex suckers him in when he gets on his knees and kisses his feet, AND HE JUMPS UP AND KICKS HIM IN THE FACE. AMAZING. Shocker beats him up in revenge and hits a sick dropkick to the floor. Fuck yeah Shocker for once. He goes for a Moonsault but Alex gets his knees up and takes over. Really good control seg worked mostly on the mat as that's the story, and he's incredible at it so it works damn well. Tenay says the Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe is going to debut tonight. Well, fuck yeah. Alex keeps controlling on the mat working on the ribs for a while, until Shocker fights back. They go hold for hold again and Shocker gets a super tight cradle to win.

#5 All time TNA moment; AJ Styles wins the NWA championship for the first time.

in the back, 3LK argue again and BG begs them to trust that he's on their side. They both finally put it all away and fist bump him. I'm sure they'll be happy forever.

Hype for Truth/Outlaw

Match#3 Ron Killings vs The Outlaw
Massive waste of Truth as always, but at least it's not K-Dawg. He works really damn hard to make it work for 7 minutes, but Gunn either botches stuff or very obviously sandbags him like a giant asshole. Truth misses a kick and lands on the ropes and Gunn takes over in a terrible lazy control seg. Bad stomps and chinlocks, and it's wild to think he got that push in 99 because he's never shown a goddamn thing in singles matches 99.9% of the time before or after. Gunn hits the Fameasser and goes for the One and Only, but Truth slips out and gets a bad cradle as Billy doesn't bother to actually roll over and has a shoulder up, but it gets the 3.

Post match, Gunn lays him out and goes for a chair shot but BG makes the save. He gets the chair and goes to hit Billy, but he can't bring himself to do it. Konnan runs out and knocks Gunn out of the ring. 3LK argue again like little kids before helping Truth out out of the ring.

#4 All time TNA moment; Raven debuts.

In the back. Roode says Hoyt feels like a winner because he got lucky a couple of time and some idiots like him, but tonight he's being Canadianised. D'Amore says he's concerned on what his men are going to do tonight to win their matches. He says when you think of great leaders you think of Hitler and Stalin, and in wrestling you think of him. hahahahahahahaha what the fuck man.

Hype for the tag title match.

Match#4 The Naturals (c) vs Eric Young & Petey Williams w/Team Canada (NWA-TNA World Tag Team Championships)
Love to see a nice new fresh tag match in what's been a dead space for a long while. Nats aren't natural (no pun) faces but given the last couple of months and how hated TC are, they fit in pretty well.. Good opening few minutes before the ref is distracted and A1 gets in and presses Chase over the ropes onto the floor in a scary moment, and TC go to work. Really good and Petey make me look like an asshole by throwing some great punches and doing some good work on top of it with cool spots and cheating. D'Amore does nothing to get his guys over and instead has to get his fat face all over the camera, and i really hate him a ton. Control goes too long and gets very boring, before Andy gets the hot tag. it of fucking course breaks down and everyone gets their shit in before Jimmy Hart of all people runs down and throws his megaphone to Chase and he brains Petey and Andy pins him to win.

In the back, Douglas interviews Sean Waltman. He asks how he became the wildcard, and Pac says he's a hell out of a backstage politician and he's always running with the kliq and he's winning the NWA worlds title.

Match#5 Samoa Joe vs Sonjay Dutt
Samoa Joe is the fucking man, and in his peak year he debuts and everything changes for TNA. Tenay puts him over huge covering his ROH run and the fact he's only lost one match in the last 3 years (Final Battle 2004) and he more than lives up to the hype by KILLING poor Sonjay for 6 minutes. He unloads every piece of his amazing offence and fucks him up at every turn, and Sonjay takes a a goddamn insane beating for our hero. Joe hits the Ura-Nage and DRILLS Sonjay into the mat and DW loses his mind and you can hear him fall in love as he realises what he's seeing before his eyes. Joe keeps throwing strikes that sound like a gun going off and the crowd is 10000000% behind him at every turn chanting his name and ole. Sonjay tries to fight back and Joe takes some big bumps before he shuts him down again and nukes him out of anger. Muscle Buster ends it.

In the back, we find Raven sitting on a staircase!! He doesn't envy his opponents tonight, in fact he'd rather hug a suicide bomber than be them because tonight he will be stopped. Fate has opened her bosom and pulled close whispering sweet nothing about their future together of a future paid with bloody kisses and horror. He will ride his chariot of destiny running over those who try and stop him under the wheels because only he is sociopathetic enough to leave them dead. He's going to make them expire from hate and from the sheer force of his will, He is a human cancer and his host must be killed to stop him, but no one in this match can take that step to do it. TONIGHT HE BECOMES THE NWA WORLD CHAMPION AND FULFILS HIS DESTINY,

Match#6 Bobby Roode w/Scott D'Amore vs Lance Hoyt
As stated, Lance is LOVED because he got drunk with the fans and now he's the guy in their eyes. Can't fault him at all. This is a good 6 minute match with Roode finally getting to show off on PPV in a singles match again, and Hoyt does well with good power stuff and ok selling from a guy whose never really had to do it before. Finishing run is good as they trade big moves for a while, but D'Amore again gets involved because anyone other him be the star of this group. Asshole. He distracts Lance and causes him to turn his back and Roode clobbers him with the Northern Lariat to win.

Post match, Roode attacks him again as D'Amore talks shit on the mic to further prove my point. D'Amore tries a moonsault but Lance moves and takes out Roode. He grabs D'Amore and pulls his pants down and kills him with a chokeslam and moonsuault of his own.

#2 All time TNA moment; Jeff Hardy debuts.

Match#7 America's Most Wanted vs BG James & Konnan
AMW are again super pissed off and don't play nice with the Krew. They beat the shit out of both of them and quickly isolate Konnan, and Harris has some wonderful work showing how good of a heel he can be. BG gets the tag but he's messed up as well, and this is all AMW being awesome and getting treated as such and i love it. Crazy they won't turn for another 3 months because this feels like the time to do it, but TNA has something else in mind for the long term and not blowing their load is the smart play. Outlaw runs down and fights Konnan away allowing AMW to break out the Hart Attack on BG to win.

Post match, for the 500th time tonight the Krew argue and BG finally has enough and walks out through the crowd leaving Konnan in the ring and Outlaw on the stage.

Hype for the X-Division title match.

Match#8 Christopher Daniels (c) vs Chris Sabin w/Trinity vs Michael Shane w/Traci (NWA-TNA X-Division Championship. Elimination Match)
Mad flurry to start as everyone goes at a fast pace and hits all high impact moves and shows what the division is truly about in terms of it being a true successor to the famed CW division in WCW. Sabin and Shane hate each other but are forced to work together at point to get rid of Daniels from their issues. It's a cool little story and gives Daniels a chance to show off his toughness as he's fighting two guys for 90% of the first part. Lots of cool dives and counters now that he's here to reign them in and make them do new stuff after a year of feuding. Sabin hits a gorgeous summersualt planca on Daniels. A catfight breaks out and Shane tries to hit Trinity with the Superkick, but Sabin catches Shane with one of his own and hits the Cradle Shock to pin him. Daniels murders Trinity with the Angel Wings to get rid of her, and we finally get Sabin and Daniels without any bullshit for 6 minutes. They have a killer back and forth with new counters and near falls and i bite on a few all these years later, which really speaks to the match and the talent. Sabin gets a huge moment when he kicks out of the BME and goes on a crazy run and gets a few close near falls. He goes for a dive off the ropes but Daniels kicks his legs out and crotches him and Sabin smacks his head off the mat and Daniels swarms him and hits the Angels Wings to retain the title.

In the back, Monty cuts a proper nutty promo for the first time in months and months about how he's going to eat and cook everyone in this match. Jeff being in the pokey has nothing to do with him, and he's laughing at him. He's going to beat these omega males and take the title back to the Serengeti

Hype for KOTM

In a cool little thing the match graphic hasn't been updated and still has Jarrett on it and not Raven.

JB does the introductions to give us that big fight feel. He announces Zbyszko will be holding the title and will give it to the wrestlers to HANG it to win.

Raven makes his intro through the crowd now 100% a babyface with the entire Impact Zone behind him in a wonderful moment.

Match#9 AJ Styles (c) vs Raven vs Monty Brown vs Sean Waltman vs Abyss (NWA-TNA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. King of the Mountain)
-WALTMAN DIVES OFF THE TOP OF THE BOX ONTO RAVEN TO START. AJ THEN HITS A SICK RANA OFF THE APRON TO SEND ABYSS INTO THE RAIL. BUT BACK IN THE RING MONTY KILLS RAVEN WITH THE POUNCE TO PIN HIM AND SEND HIM TO THE BOX. HOLY SHIT
-AJ follows all of that with up with a goddamner of a dive over the ropes onto Abyss
-Monty tries to climb but Pac fights him in the ring to stop him
-Raven is let out and goes right after Monty in revenge
-Monty kills Waltman with a gross Alpha Bomb and pins him to send him to the box
-DW points out that this is the smart strategy as it gets rid of wrestlers and makes it easier for him to climb without someone to stop him
-AJ jumps off the box and kills Abyss with a dropkick
-Monty murders AJ with a Pounce that drives him right into the corner, and Raven drags him out and pins him on the floor to send him to the box
-Raven brings in a trash can and kills Abyss and Monty with it to add some more cool shit to this
-Waltman is let out and kills everyone with a trash can of his own before Abyss drills him with a sweet big boot
-AJ is let out
-Abyss hits Monty with the BHS to pin him and send him to the box
-DW suspects Pac and AJ have made a deal when they were both in the box together
-Raven and AJ finally fight again and it's wonderful as always.
-AJ hits the Clash on him and Abyss makes the save, and DW says it's so smart to stop someone else from having the chance to win.
-All time work from Don West
-Waltman brains Abyss with some gross chair shots to the head and sets him up on a table, AND AJ HITS A PITCH PERFECT SPIRAL TAP OFF THE TOP ROPE TO SEND HIM THROUGH IT AND PINS HIM TO SEND HIM TO THE BOX
-It takes all the refs to lock him up as he fights like not to be put in there, and he keeps trying to rip the door open
-AJ climbs to hanh the title but he drops it and Waltman picks it up and gives it back to him, AND HITS A LOW BLOW AND HITS A FUCKING X-FACTOR OFF THE LADDER AND PINS AJ. JESUS CHRIST.
-Raven breaks out the staple gun and shoots them into the top of Waltman's skull in a wild moment. Waltman then steals it back and shoots Raven in the balls and DW shouts that he just got a vasectomy
- AJ is let out and goes right after Waltman on top of a ladder, but Abyss shoves them off and they go through a table and both men are dead.
-MONTY POUNCES ABYSS OFF THE LADDER AS HE'S CLIMBING AND SENDS HIM THROUGH A TABLE. HE GOES TO HANG IT BUT RAVEN SPINS HIM AROUND AND HITS THE EVENFLOW AND GRABS THE TITLE AND CLIMBS UP AND HANGS IT UP. HE KICKS ABYSS OFF AS HE TRIES TO STOP HIM AND HE PULLS THE TITLE BACK DOWN TO WIN IT.

We open with a recap of the PPV with JB narrating over the top. He says that Dusty Rhodes has quit TNA and has been replaced as DOA by Larry Zbyszko. This happened because Dixie wanted Dusty to work with a booking committee, so he threw a fit and quit like a big old bitch.

Match#1 Michael Shane w/Traci vs James Storm w/Chris Harris
DW dubs this "the battle of the superkicks" in another wonderful moment for the best to ever do it. TNA no longer has the awesome time limits or the bumpers at the top of the screen. Still, really fun 10 minutes of your classic babyface vs coward shithead. Traci crotches him on top to help Shane take over, so Harris tries to handcuff her and the ref throws them both out!!! good control seg from Shane as he's very good at basics if nothing else, and Storm takes a hell of a beating for him icluding a sick bump when Shane throws him down the ramp. James makes a good comeback and makes Shane eat shit. Traci returns with ALEX SHELLEY and demands he help Shane, he seems reluctant to do it, but he eventually runs down and distracts the ref. But it backfires when Storm sends Shane into the ref and then kills Alex with one. BUT SHANE DUCKS ANOTHER AND KILLS JAMES WITH ONE OF HIS OWN TO STEAL IT.

IN THE BACK, JAMES MITCHELL IS SPEAKING TO ABYSS. He asks him how close he got to winning the gold with 4 other men in the ring, but he's never been given the one on one shot he so richly deserves. He's never had anyone to navigate the politics for him and keep the swine at bay, and he wants to help him. Abyss seems to want to murder him, but James backs off and asks for one chance before leaving. So hyped for this.

TNA NO SURRENDER JULY 17

We go to a pre=tape interview with Mike Tenay in the ring with Ron Killings and Konnan. He explains that he invited all 3 members of the Krew, but BG no showed it, and he wants to know where he is. Truth says BG gave him his word and he trusts him. Konnan says sorry for losing against Outlaw and this is on him and no one else. Outlaw walks through the crowd and says he has all the answers and you can hear from BG himself. Monty Brown shows up dressed as BG and helps Outlaw beat the shit out of 3LK. Monty does BG's intro and declares them as the next tag champs and calls them the 2LK.

Match#2 Shark Boy vs David Young
This is my TNA. DY beats the crap out of him with cool power stuff and looks awesome again, and it helps that Sharky is such a rad babyface and dies on everything. Sharky makes a sweet comeback and the Zone comes alive for every second of it. Sharky wins a rollup.

In the back, Jarrett confronts Larry about when he's getting his rematch for the worlds title. Larry says he's already had it in KOTM as per his contract, but he messed it by attacking the fan/ He says Abyss deserves his title shot, plus he's got new talent coming in who are also looking for a shot. Jarrett rants that this is crap and then asks who the new talent is, but Larry walks off leaving Jess pissed off.

Match#3 Samoa Joe vs Delirious
FUCK YEAH. Awesome Joe showcase against an old pal who is game to take a motherfucker of a murder for a few minutes. Joe again breaks out all his stuff and it's sooooo good and fun to watch him be unleashed on TV. He DRILLS him with the uranigie as he Lizard takes a hideous bump where he folds his head and neck as he lands. Joe wins with the Muscle Buster and
Coquina clutch combo.

Elix Skipper makes his way out for the main event and sprints from one tunnel to the other and hides on the side and attacks Christopher Daniels as he makes his intro!!! They have an awesome fight to ringside and the bells rings and shit is on.

Match#4 Christopher Daniels vs Elix Skipper
This is non title, but if Skipper wins he's next in line. He whips his ass on the outside against the rail and on the floor, and Daniels takes some wild bumps for it. They get in the ring and Skipper keeps it and has a wonderful control seg breaking out loads of cool kicks and punches, and Daniels is a great face in peril when called upon. The crowd gets behind him without much of a fight, and he ramps up his bumping and selling for the beating to get them even hotter for his eventual comeback.Tenay announces that Larry has just made Joe vs Sabin for the next PPV!!!!!! Daniels fights back and kicks the shit out of Skipper all while selling the damage in a really nice moment. He knees Skipper in the back of the head a dozen times and really fucks him up, and he basically gets his own control seg as Skipper sells like hell and the crowd chants for both of them. Finishing run is awesome as Skipper fights back and throws it all out and get closer and closer to ending it. Daniels catches him with an STO into the buckles and hits another and locks in the Koji Clutch to pull the win out of his ass.

THE NEW WORLDS CHAMPION RAVEN MAKES HIS WAY OUT TO THE RING AND THE TITLE LOOKS PERFECT ON HIM. He says he has risen from the ashes of a broken youth and his eyes have been opened by violence. He has endured everything that fate has thrown at him, WHAT ABOUT RAVEN? WHAT ABOUT THE FACT HE FULFILLED HIS DESTINY AND HAS BECOME NWA WORLD CHAMPION. James Mitchell interrupts and says he's sure Raven thought he was never coming back after leaving him for dead. He's going to see to it that he's destined for failure. Raven says he welcomes the fight as he can give him a second helping. He hopes Abyss is smart enough that he realises he makes for a poor pet. James says dinner is served as Abyss hits the ring and a great fight breaks out. He kills Raven with the Black Hole Slam. Mitchell makes him strangle Raven with the chain to close the show. Incredible angle.

DW gives credit to Pac for helping to create the very idea of the X-Division!!! Really fun showcase as his second peak is a lot of fun as old bitter asshole that hates kids and wants to kick the hell out of them for being alive and in his way. DW and Tenay talk about how angry AJ Styles is after being screwed over by Waltman in KOTM, and now he wants revenge for costing him the title. Pac slips in a low blow and hits the X-Factor to win.

TONIGHT. AJ SYLES VS ALEX SHELLEY

Recap of Lance Hoyt getting his revenge on D'Amore.

We go to an interview with Team Canada. Bobby says Scott is in traction and this is all his fault. Petey says they're still TC and they'll be fine. EY says they don't have a leader, so Petey screams he's the captain of Team Canada and he wants EY to destroy Hoyt for Canada and D'Amore.

Match#2 Lance Hoyt vs Eric Young w/Petey Williams
EY jumps him from behind and has an ok series of attacks on the big man, but sadly Hoyt isn't a very good face at alll so the beating falls flat as a result. Lance makes a bad comeback with really bad looking strikes, and not even EYs amazing bumps can save it. Lance wins with a big boot.

Post match, Team Canada attack him until the Nats make the save. I guess everything is forgiven then???

In the back, Monty sings "My Way" as he talks about how he left everyone laying in KOTM time and time again. He has been disrespected now that Abyss has been given a title shot before him. He will earn his respect as he's always done time and time again. He and Outlaw are coming for 3LK very soon.

Match#3 Abyss w/James Mitchell vs Sonny Siaki
Very good Abyss murder now that he's finally getting his monster push without any (for now) bullshit attached to it. Sonny sucks shit as always, but Abyss fucks him up and makes him sell by beating his head in. BHS ends it

Post match, Apollo gets in the ring with a chair to get Abyss to back off. Abyss fakes leaving, but he attacks him from behind and tries to kill him, but Raven makes the save. He hits the Evenflow and wraps the chain around his neck and pulls on it to send him headfirst into a chair. He gets the mic and says the title match can now be a Dog Collar match, and DW shouts "HOOK THEM UP LIKE DOGS? IS THAT SMART" Raven says he doesn't care how bad the beating the gets or much they bleed, no one can throw in the towel as it can only end by pinfall. Hell yeah.

Simon Diamond and Trytan make their way out and Simon says he has a problem. Well, no it's the rest of TNA who now has the problem because he's got the 7ft wreaking machine in his corner. Simon sucks, but he's so much better as a heel with a heater, even if the heater is a terrible wrestler.

Match#4 America's Most Wanted vs Simon Diamond & Trytan
JJ invades the booth and bitches about Larry screwing him over and he wants to know who is to blame for this. TNA is his world and he doesn't care who walks in the door, it stays the same. He keeps yelling at Tenay as we watch a really bad match because the heels are horrible! AMW can't do anything to save it (nor could anyone to be more than fair). Storm beats Simon with a Superkick.
Stinky Poop

In the back, Christopher Daniels says he now the symbol of excellence in the division. He has turned them all back from Mexico's best in Shocker to two of America's best last month. There are no more empires left for him to conquer. Petey Williams walks on and gets in nose and says has he hasn't beaten Canada's best X-Division wrestler. He says they took out Hoyt, and Daniels says he's not him. Petey demands a title shot, and Chris actually accepts it. Petey smiles as he pats him on the shoulder and leaves having goaded him into the match. Tweener Team Canada sounds awesome to me.

Match#5 AJ Styles vs Alex Shelley
Beautiful back and forth to start with Alex attempting to go to the mat where he's much more comfortable, and AJ opting to go for trying to take his head off. AJ nails a brainbuster and takes him to school for a time, but Alex catches him with eye poke to take over and goes to work. Really cool control seg with a mix of high impact moves and fancy work on the mat with painful looking holds that bend AJ and turn him purple at points. AJ's selling is so good as he struggles to catch his breath and really leans into every single thing Shelley throws at him. Alex goes to throw him in the ropes, BUT AJ DUCKS UNDER AND HITS ONE OF THE NASTIEST SPIN KICKS OF HIS LIFE AND BREAKS ALEX'S NOSE CAUSING BLOOD TO SPLURT EVERYWHERE Waltman walks out and joins commentary to talk about AJ. He says he's pretty good and does remind him of him, but he's lot more naive than he ever was. AJ beats the fuck out of Alex with an amazing flurry of strikes, and poor Alex gets more and more fucked up with each one of them. They fight on top and the blood drips down on AJ back as Alex's face is covered in it. Alex shoves him off and gets a super close near fall with a reverse pedigree. Alex gets hit with a rana and AJ holds on and deadlifts him into the Styles Clash to smash his face off the mat and gets the win.

Post match, Waltman gets in the ring and goes nose to nose, but Jerry Lynn makes his return and holds them back to close the show. Love bringing him back into this story where he has SO much history with both of them.

Sabin gets a showcase match now that's finally free of the Shane feud, and gets to move on to Joe. Really good shit as always as he's so smooth and crisp with everything, and DY is a solid son of a bitch on offence and defence. Cradle Shock ends the fun.

SAMOA JOE RUNS DOWN TAKES HIM DOWN AND KILLS HIM WITH KNEES TO FACE AND HEAD. HE LOCKS IN THE CLUTCH AND CHOKES HIM OUT AND POSES OVER HIS DEAD BODY. SO FUCKING GOOD.

In the back, AJ is doing an interview with Larry. He says Waltman cost him the title and can accept it as it was every man for himself, but he can't accept him coming down during his match and he wants Larry to give him a match. Larry says he can have the match at No Surrender with Jerry Lynn as the guest referee.

In the back, AMW are interviewed. Harris says they haven proven they are the best team in the business in the world today, and the boat might rock but it makes them stronger each time. Two punks in Shelley and Shane want to fight them, well they can get it. Storm says they're the kings of poo poo town and they want them at No Surrender. He says after the match they'll find a church and ask for forgiveness after what they do to them.

Match#2 Zack Gowen vs Mikey Batts.
Tenay calls him an human interest story, which sounds horrible and in no way a nice thing to say about someone. We get two minutes of wrestling before Jarrett walks down and rings the bell and demands they leave, and the match ends.

Post match, he yells at Zack and calls him hope-along, so Zack shoves him. Jeff gets the guitar AND HOPS ON ONE LEG AND KICKS HIM IN THE BALLS AND BREAKS THE GUITAR OVER HIS HEAD. AMAZING SHITHEAD THING TO DO. He gets the mic and warns the blackshirts not to get in this ring, or else. He says if any of these new talents come into Planet Jarrett there will he hell to pay. Raven has his title and Abyss has his title shot, and at No Surrender he's taking them both.

Match#3 Samoa Joe vs Elix Skipper vs Shark Boy
Oh shit, he's got two people to nuke. He has a karate battle with Skipper to start, before Shark dives on them. Turns into a killer little sprint with the other two going nuts trying to beat him, but he can't be beaten and somehow keeps coming back to life and kicking ass in cooler and sicker ways each time. DW loves him and says no one can figure this man out and it's going to take something amazing to do it. JOE DROPKICKS ELIX OFF THE ROPES WHEN HE TRIES THE WALK AND PULLS SHARK OFF AND KILLS HIM WITH THE MUSCLE BUSTER AND CLUTCH TO WIN.

Match#4 Petey Williams vs Amazing Red
Daniels says he was not tricked into the title match as he was always going to challenge an international star, and it was always going to happen with Petey. Pretty good match, after the last one, i adore the best division getting the spotlight. Daniels says the Canadian Destroyer is very pretty, but it's not going to work on him and more to the point, Petey lacks the wrestling skills to beat him any other way. They keep having a good back and forth and Red looks good, but his knee hampers him on some stuff. He misses the Infrared and Petey kills him with the CD and locks in a Sharpshooter and stares down Daniels as Red taps out.

In the back, Monty cuts another promo about him and Outlaw coming for 3LK. Breaking zero new ground in terms of his promos as they're pretty much the same, and it sucks how much this year really broke and exposed him.

Match#5 Abyss w/James Mitchell vs Cassidy Riley
Fifty seconds of murder and stuff. BHS does it.

Post match, he nukes him with another one as the crowd chants for Raven. On cue, he runs out with a chain wrapped around his arm and lariats him out of the ring. Mitchell distracts him and Abyss crotches him against the post. Abyss steals the chain and strangles him through the ropes and hangs him in the air!!! Blackshirts rush the ring and try to get him off, but he shakes them off and clears the ring. Love this feud so much.

Match#6 Bobby Roode, Eric Young & A1 vs The Naturals & Lance Hoyt w/Jimmy Hart
I forgot Jimmy is here and i wish he wasn't as he doesn't fit this group at all, and really adds nothing to them. Bad 6 minutes of pro wrestling from some good wrestling and not so good pro wrestlers shitting the best. Control seg sucks so bad as A1 is really, really bad and the other two do chin locks and lazy ass strikes, so fuck them as well. Lance's hot tag is better as they finally bump their asses off for him. He beats Roode with a big boot.

Match#1 Samoa Joe & Christopher Daniels vs Eric Young & Petey Williams
Daniels has recruited Joe to have his back against a problem he created. The more things change.... The super team go after Petey right away and his nose his bloody off a series of Joe slaps in the corner, and they focus on it and bash his brains in. Petey makes a very good face to his credit, and EY has a sick hot tag going wild on Daniels before the break cuts it off. Hate that so much. We come back to TC controlling Daniels and what we get is very good, but far too short for what it could have been. Joe rushes the ring and hits EY with an elbow and screams at Daniels to get up and tag him in. He finally legally gets in and wreaks shop in incredible fashion and sends them all over the place and they have zero answers for him. SABIN JUMPS THE RAIL AND ATTACKS JOE AND THEY FIGHT OFF TO THE BACK. EY hits Daniels with an elbow to save Petey from the Koji Clutch, and Willams gets back up and beats Daniels with the CD in a fantastic fuck you.

In the back, Cassidy Riley thanks Raven for saving him last week. Terry brings up the time Raven snapped his fingers and hit him with the DDT, and Cassidy laughs and says he was introducing him to pain and he loves it now. Any time Raven needs a friend, he's right here.

Konnan & Ron Killings walk out to the ring and try to talk, but Monty and Outlaw attack and we get a brawl around the zone. Blackshirts eventually break it up.

Match#3 Shocker vs Sonjay Dutt
A really slow and plodding showcase for Shocker. He just has zero urgency on anything he does, and Sonjay works at the same pace and does nothing to actually help and make him do something cool. Shocker wins with the mouse trap. The move not the fun 90's movie.

In the back, Mitchell and Abyss are standing by. James says Raven thought he was pulling a fast one by making it a dog-collar match, but he's an idiot. He's chained at the neck to a 6ft9 300 pound monster who can drag him down the road in a car if he wants. He will leave him crippled and broken, and he can't surrender as wanted. He did this to himself. Abyss hands are like a judge's gavel and he will pound down on him until there is order.

We go to a video with Jerry Lynn. He says he has dealt with them in the past in feuds and teams, and he knows how to deal with them. This will be a big night for him being back in the ring for TNA and being back in the ring with them. He has an interest in them because he wants them to do it right, and may the best man win.

Match#4 AJ Styles & Sean Waltman vs Bobby Roode & A1
Larry is forcing them to team so they can get along, which seems like a silly idea. It works to start as they show each other up and own these two punk kids in cool ways. A1 is again terrible, but Bobby brings it against them and really shows why he's here. He leads the control against AJ and really shows off even more, while his idiot partner sucks the life out of it. Call it even on good and bad. Pac's hot tag is really fun before it all breaks down as it tends to. Waltman misses a kick and takes AJ's head off, and he turns back around into a lariat from Roode and that's it.

Post match, Pac and AJ go nose to nose and AJ walks away, BUT SEAN DECKS HIM AND THEY HAVE A SICK FIGHT. Lynn runs down and pulls them apart.

In the stairway, Raven says Mitchell has asked Abyss to commit suicide by accepting this match. He would be better off laying in a bath and throwing in. a toaster than doing this. He is going to beat and bloody him and make him live in pain. There is no surrender and it can only end once he decides to pin, but he might beat him up forever.

Another motherfucker of a intro video starts us off.

Match#1 America's Most Wanted vs Alex Shelley & Micheal Shane w/Traci
Wonderful start with Alex going hold for hold with Storm and really getting to show off what he can do with the bigger stars of TNA. Shane tries his hand next and it's way less cool and fun because he's bland as fuck, but it's perfectly fine if nothing else. It turns into a fight on the outside when tempers flair and it's good stuff as Alex fits really well with AMW's brawling around the Zone, and Shane is fine again in the role of shithead. Harris handcuffs Traci to the post to stop her from getting involved, and AMW take over and kick their asses for a while. Shane kills Storm with a gross baseball slide when he tries to skin the cat, and he smacks Harris with Traci's boot. He goes for another but Harris gets it and knocks him out with it. Shelley jumps back to help but he gets caught with a Superkick from Storm for the 3.

Post match, Shane hits Storm with a Superkick and runs for it like a pussy.

We go to footage of the pre-show with Jarrett yelling at Tenay about all the fired WWE wrestlers and how TNA will open the doors for them. Jarrett asks if RHINO is in the building, and Mike says he spoke to Larry and he confirmed Rhino will be here. On one hand, fuck yeah Rhino. On the other, way to spoil a big debut, you idiots.

In the back, Team Canada promise Canadian payback on the Nats and Hoyt for what they did to D'Amore. Petey says Daniels will fall victim to the CD. Jarrett walks on and says they need to sick together after building TNA from the ground up, and fight against these Johnny come lately's. Petey agrees to have his back. Jeff leaves the scene, and Roode says he can't trust that guy.

Tenay announces the winner of the next match will complete for the 2005 Super X-Cup.

Match#2 Shark Boy vs Mikey Batts vs Sonjay Dutt vs Elix Skipper (Winner advances to X-Cup)
Really rough and sloppy for a few minutes, sadly. Lots of missed stuff or weak looking strikes, on top of it being boring. Sonjay wins with the Hindu Press after being the worst guy in the match. Goddamn it.

Simon Diamond and David Young come out to the ring and Simon says he has found a man with untapped potential that can do it all despite not winning a match in two years. Simon says that happened because he didn't have anyone to guide and teach him, well now he's his newest member of the Diamond In the Rough. Woooooo DY getting to do something.

Match#3 Diamonds in the Rough vs Sonny Sikia & Apollo
5 crumby minutes as DY might rule a ton, but he can't carry 3 losers no matter how hard he tries. After some bad wrestling, Apollo beats DY with his TKO

Match#4 Samoa Joe vs Chris Sabin.
HERE WE FUCKING GO. Sabin shows zero fear and goes hold for hold with Joe and uses his speed to put him on the backfoot! He tries for the Shock, but Joe wastes him with strikes and start obliterating him in amazing fashion with a series of knees and elbows that look and sound nasty as fuck, and each one is harder than the last. Sabin's KO selling is amazing on top of all of that. Joe has a wonderful moment when he gets too into killing him and enjoying the damage that he doesn't kill Sabin when he should, and it lets him survive it. Joe gets more violent as a result and locks in one of the grosses head vices ever where he bends Chris's head and neck all the way to one side and shakes and claws at it like a fucking lunatic. Sabin ramps up his selling as he's purple and grabbing at his head and neck. Joe keeps it up and drops him with a series of punches that send Sabin face first to the mat. Sabin fights back and gets some space AND NAILS A STUNNING SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK TO THE FACE THAT FINALLY KNOCKS HIM ON HIS ASS. HE JUMPS OVER THE ROPES AND CATCHES HIM WITH ANOTHER ONE TO DROP HIM TO THE FLOOR AND HITS A FUCKING THIRD DROPKICK TO SEND JOE HEADFIRST INTO THE GUARDRAIL. JESUS CHRIST. Sabin goes nuts with speed and strikes and keeps throwing everything at him and gets closer and closer to beating him. Joe's selling is incredible as he's badly hurt and in shock, but he's still a fucking truck and throws bombs of his own in between all of that to stay alive. Sabin hits a gorgeous springboard DDT and gets the closest 2.9 anyone has gotten on Joe since Punk in December. Joe catches him with a knee to the gut and hits a powerbomb and locks in the STFJOE and strangles the hell out of Sabin. He turns it into a Crossface and wreaks the injured neck, and Sabin somehow crawls to the ropes so Joe turns into a gross armbar/body lock

Sabin manages to turn his legs and get to the ropes and breaks it, and Joe's face turns to pure anger. He hoists him to the tope rope for a suplexplex, but Chris slips out and hits a running Ligar Bomb for another insane 2.9 count that makes the entire fucking crowd explode. CHRIS FIRES UP AND FINALLY LIFTS JOE FOR THE CRADLE SHOCK BUT JOE KNEES HIM OVER AND OVER IN THE FACE AND DROPS HIM TO A KNEE. SABIN TURNS INTO A SPIN KICK AND GOES TO THE TOP BUT JOE SWEEPS THE LEG TO CROTCH HIM AND KILLS HIM WITH THE MUSCLE BUSTER AND LOCKS IN THE COQUINA CLUTCH AND SABIN PASSES OUT.

Match#5 The Naturals & Lance Hoyt w/Jimmy Hart vs Bobby Roode, Eric Young & A1
Fine enough cooldown match after that goddamn match. The Nats and the Canadians again match up super well as they're young crazy kids going for broke to make it, and the other two meatheads are kept as clean up crew for the most part. They brawl on the outside and the Nats hit some wonderful dives onto them. EY takes some insane bumps on the floor, and i love him so much. They fight back in the ring and it's a nice back and forth for a while. Roode frames Hart with the flag to get him kicked out, and TC isolate Chase and beat the shit out of him in a good control seg lead by Bobby. Dude is growing leaps and bounds and this is another case of it. Hoyt has a fine hot tag before it all breaks down as it fucking tends to fucking do. Roode uses the megaphone to brain the Nats and EY steals the win.

In the back, Douglas is with Monty and Outlaw. Outlaw says Bullet Bob loves and cares about him like a son, so he's going to change his name to Kip James to honour him. Jarrett walks on and asks if they're with him, and Kip says he's got his back. Monty says he likes his suit, but they work on an agreement that Monty gets a world title shot and it looks like Jeff can't hold up his end.

Match#6 Ron Killings & Konnan vs Monty Brown & Kip James (Street Fight)
Decent bullshit plunder brawl as it should be. Most of these dudes suck as we know, but they can use plunda and beat the shit out of a man, and that's enough for me to enjoy it. Kip knocks the ref out and goes to work on the Krew. Monty kills Truth with the POUNCE to win.

Post match. BG walks out to watch on the stage, so Kip gets the mic and calls him his brother and invites him into the ring. BG gets in and Kip hands him a chair and tells him to hit Truth, but BG throws it and walks away as Kip yells at him to come back.

Hype for AJ/Waltman.

Match#7 AJ Styles vs Sean Waltman (Special Guest Referee-Jerry Lynn)
Fantastic struggle to start with them fighting for every inch of possible control. Waltman is there with AJ for every second and even gets the best of him a few times to piss him off, so AJ ramps up his speed to get it going in his favour. He stays on him and works him down with amazing strikes and holds on the neck, and Pac's selling is great as always but it's his facials as you can see him realise in real time that AJ is even better than the last time he faced him in 2002, that fucking rule. Pac manages to crotch him against the post to take over. Super fun control with all his amazing offence mixed with sick counters of AJ's comebacks as he's more than ready for it. He hits a gross spin kick and a wild dive off the top to further wreak him, and AJ's selling is awesome. AJ gets revenge when he crotches Pac against the post like he did to him!! AJ gets back up and his nose is broken and he goes fucking crazy in revenge and pinballs him all over the place. Waltman sneaks in a low blow and turns it back on and gets super close to ending it, but AJ ain't dead yet and hits one of the dirtiest Styles Clash ever when he sends Pac right top of his forehead BUT PAC FUCKING KICKS OUT HOLY SHIT WHAT. AJ misses the tap and Pac hits the X-Factor, but AJ kicks out of it. Pac gets a chair and tries to Pliimanise the leg, but Lynn takes the chair away and gets in his face. AJ gets back up and tries the clash, but Pac gets his hands on the ropes, but Jerry kicks them off and AJ hits it to win.

In the back, Jarrett finds Larry and tells him to tell Rhino the TNA welcoming committee is waiting for him, slapnuts.

Match#8 Christopher Daniels (c) vs Petey Willams w/A1 (NWA-TNA X-Division Championship)
Petey is very mad at Daniels for being a dick to him, so he takes the fight right to his face and we get a nice brawl with some cool dives and moves mixed in. I'm not a Petey cheerleader as we know, but he's a far better face than heel when he can just do cool shit and not have to lead anything. Daniels catches a pop-up-rana into a powebomb on the apron to take over. He works on the back and it's good times, and Petey's selling is good times for a guy whose not that type of wrestler. NEVERMIND THAT SHIT, SAMOA JOE WALKS OUT AND WATCHES ON THE STAGE. AHHHHHHHHH. Match turns into a back and forth and it's a lot of fun, but not a lot in terms in direction or story. Daniels wins with the BME

Match#9 Raven (c) vs Abyss w/James Mitchell (NWA-TNA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Dog-Collar-Match-No Surrender)
Zero time is wasted as they use the chain and steel chairs to mess each up in amazingly violent and nasty ways. Abyss takes over with a chain shot the face and then crushes Raven with a splash to hurt his ribs, and he gets more insane as Mitchell shouts orders at him to further hurt Raven. He strangles him with the chain again, but Raven smashes a chair into his face and breaks out a staple gun and staples money to the bloody forehead of Abyss. They fight on the outside and Raven gets posted and busted open with a real ugly cut. They fight on stage and Abyss is dropkicked off through some tables, BUT HE USES THE LAST OF HIS STRENGTH TO YANK THE CHAIN AND DRAG RAVEN OFF THE STAGE INTO A TABLE. JESUS. Abyss puts the chain into Raven's mouth and pulls back as Mitchell taunts him and laughs at the fact he can't quit per his own making. They get back in the ring and Raven fires off the Evenflow and chokes Abyss over the ropes, but Mitchell hits him with the cane over the back of his head. Abyss tears his chain off and gets his bag of tacks out and dumps them in the ring. He sets him up on the top to throw him off, but Cassidy Riley distracts Abyss and gets murdered for his troubles with a chokeslam through a table. Raven powerbombs Abyss into the tacks and they have a sick back and forth before Raven hits the Evenflow to win.

Post match, Jarrett makes his way out to the ring and says the nightmare is over and it's time for the wakeup call. There is no one who can stop him from taking back what is rightfully is as TNA is his world. RHINO GETS IN THE RING AND JARRETT TELLS RAVEN TO TURN AROUND AND HE WALKS RIGHT IN THE GORE, GORE, GOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. BAW GAWD RHINO IS WITH JARRETT.

All in all a really good set of wrestlers with the potential finals being amazing if they go that way.

Christopher Daniels joins commentary to scout.

Match#2 Samoa Joe vs Sonjay Dutt (Quarterfinals)
Joe gets 10 minutes to beat the crap out of Sonjay and further himself as the fucking man of TNA. Sonjay is great crash test dummy once again for Joe as he leans into everything Joe smacks him with and makes it look like death. Of course it helps that Joe is a motherfucker that hits like God, but you get my point. Daniels says this should be the called the "Christopher Daniels Invitational" as he's going to beat whoever wins with ease, so there's point calling it anything else. Sonjay has a fun comeback using his speed to actually knock Joe down a few times and he hits a sweet dive over the top to send him into the rail. Joe cuts him off with the powerslam and beats his head in and crushes him with a powerbomb and locks in the STFOJOE and switches over to the Clutch to win.

Post match, Shane Douglas tries to interview him about the Clutch and who he has his eyes on next, and Joe stares a hole through him and walks off. FUCK YEAH.

In the back, Waltman is yelling at Lynn about screwing him over and stealing his spotlght. Jerry says he was a homeless kid with nothing and he fed him and gave him a roof over his head, and when he got to the big leauges he never heard from him again. Sean says he was working 300 days a year and didn't have time to talk to his family let alone him. Lynn says Sean tried to hurt AJ and his family, and he should know better given what he's been through. Sean says no one looked after his family when he broke his neck, so don't cry to him. They go nose to nose and Sean says if he feels froggy he can jump on him at Sacrifice!! Lynn agrees but says he needs to be careful what he wishes for. Fantastic angle that uses so much history that even if you weren't aware of any of it, you now truly care and are invested in them.

Match# Kip James & Monty Brown vs Sonny Sikai & Apollo
BG watches from the stage as TNA is going to run this nonsense no matter what. This is horrible as Monty is the only good wrestler and he's been exposed as a limited big man, sadly. Monty hits Sonny with the Pounce to send him into the ref, so another ref runs down and ends the match.

Post match, Konnan and Truth jump them and a big fight breaks out around the Zone.

In the back, Simon Diamond yells at DY for being a loser, and offers his leadership to take him through politics and make it to the top.

In the back, all the referees refuse to call any more 3LK/James matches are they're too dangerous. Larry is very mad and says he might fire them, but they walk off on him.

Raven makes his way out to the ring, and i have to say his body is breaking down after reaching destiny as he's gotten fat and is noticeably limping. Heartbreaking stuff. Anyway, he says he was going to take more abuse than Abyss and outlast him and win the match that way, and that's what he did. He sent himself through thumbtacks to make sure it was over. Jarrett and his little buddy Rhino stole his thunder and took it away from him. TNA is not big enough for the two of them and one of them has to leave, and he's fed up with this and it needs to end once and for all. Jarrett's music hits and he comes out and calls him a whining bitch with no friends and he needs to be fired before him. He wants his belt back and he's sick of Raven hiding from him. Raven lays the belt down and dares him to come and get it, but Rhino sneaks in from behind! He tries the Gore but Raven moves and fights him off. Jarrett runs down and turns the tide, and Rhino nails the GORE and they beat the shit out of him as Don shouts Raven has no friends who can rescue him and he's on an island by himself.

Match#4 AJ Styles vs Matt Bentley w/Traci (Quarterfinals)
Pretty fun AJ carry job as he gives Bentley a lot and does all he can to make his stuff look good and impactful, as Matt can't do it on his own. Traci causes a distraction to let Matt takes over, and his control is fine enough as he works on the shoulder and AJ sells it ok for the work on it. AJ nails a beautiful Pele to start his comeback as he catches Matt right on the top of his head, and DW loses his mind over how cool it is. AMW run down and stop Traci from getting involved again and Storm sneaks in and kills Shane with the Superkick and AJ makes the pin to advance.

Match#1 Elix Skipper vs Shark Boy vs Sonjay Dutt
Our standard super fun 5 minute spotfest with everyone throwing out anything they can think of. Skipper is the standout once again as he's breaking out new cool kicks and dives, and the other two are ok as well. Dutt takes out Skipper with a dropkick and beats Sharky with a DSD of his own. '

In the back, Larry is talking to BG about all the happening of last week with the refs refusing to call the match. BG says he wouldn't do it either given how crazy it's gotten. Larry says he has an idea to fix this, and he hands BG a refs shirt and says he instigated this and now he can finish this. He says he'll fire BG if he doesn't do it. BG is pissed but doesn't have a choice and takes the shirt as Larry walks off.

Match#2 Alex Shelley vs Shocker (Quarterfinals)
Fuck yeah rematch. Wonderful mat work to start with a lot of fancy shit from both, and Tenay says Shelley is a hybrid wrestler that can do it all against any wrestler. Shocker does really well for himself as he uses some sick arm drags and out cool stuff as Alex is the perfect guy for him to fight. Shelley hotshots him against the ropes and hits a tope as Tenay shouts he can do it all!!! They fight back in and the finish run is quick but super fun as they go to the mat again and Shelley uses Shocker's mouse trap pin to steal it. WOOOOOO

In the back, Abyss and Mitchell are standing by with an ominous red light over them. James says TNA is up and arms about Abyss' attack last week and it happened because Abyss refuses to wait in line for his world title shot. Mitchell says he can't control him and he gets out of his way and lets nature take its course. There are pray and predators and everyone in his way is pray. He says they have nothing against Hoyt, but he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and he won't be the last. ABYSS WILL CARPET BOMB TNA AND REBUILD IT IN HIS NAME AND IMAGE AND DISPLAY HIS DOMINANCE OVER TNA.

Match#3 Mikey Batts vs Cassidy Riley
Cassidy is now dressed like Raven and uses his offence like a true flunky. Rhino runs out and kills Batts with the Gore and then murders Riley with the Rhino-Driver.

Raven makes his way out and says they have decided they can get rid of him using a tag match because he has no friends and it'll be 2 on 1. Raven says it's amazing what you can find after 17 years of giving your heart and soul to wrestling. You can bond over it with those you've fought to the death. He says he has no friends but an enemy will do, AND THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND WHEN THEY COME BACK ON SABU IS IN THE RING WITH A CHAIR HE KILLS THEM WITH SHOTS TO THE HEAD AND HITS THE MOONSAULT ON RHINO. RAVEN SAYS IT'S NOW TWO ON TWO AND HE CAN PROMISE THEM PAIN. FUCKING GOD YES.

Match#4 James Storm w/Chris Harris vs Matt Bentley w/Traci
It breaks down right away and they have a cool little fight around ringside with some big bumps against the rails and posts, and Storm takes a wicked bump to the post to allow Shane to take over. Good control seg as he might be basic as hell, it work as Storm knows how to take a beating no matter whose dishing it out. Storm doesn't actually make a comeback, instead he shoves him off the ropes and hits the 8 Second Ride to win the battle of Superkick. lmao

In the back, Douglas is with AJ. Styles says this is the best of the best and it wasn't along ago when he made. the Division and it made him. Petey and Sabin are amazing wrestlers in their own rights, but they'll find out why they call him phenomenal.

Match#5 Chris Sabin vs Petey Willams w/A1 (Quarterfinals)
The old friends meet once again for 10 minutes and put on another sneaky banger. After the flurry opening, Petey takes over and works the back of Sabin with some good focused work on it, and Chris' selling is good. He makes a comeback before they go to the finishing run that's fun as always as they throw out new counters for the old stuff, and break out new ones. Petey wins with the CD

Match#1 Samoa Joe vs Alex Shelley (Semifinals)
Alex tries to out wrestle him to start as that's his bread and butter, and it would work if Joe wasn't a goddamn freak that can and does go hold for hold with him. Alex targets the arm with his fancy lucha work and gets far with it, but it also opens him up to Joe being able to throw shots as he has to stay close to make it work. Joe gets out and targets the head in revenge which forces Shelley to get fancier to get out of it and the fight over control is fantastic. It turns into a slug fest and Joe moves ahead with a series of insane kicks to the body that sound like a baseball bat hitting steel. Alex toughs it as the beating gets worse and fucking worse, and he tries his best to get it going but Joe wastes him at every turn and Alex can't answer in the end. Joe catches him on the top with the Muscle Buster and locks in the Clutch and makes Shelley pass out.

In the back, Cassidy thinks Raven is his friend and cares deeply about him, but Shane points out that Sabu is his place. Cassidy says it's cool because they'll be the best team ever and he wants a front row seat to the action and he's going now.

Match#2 The Naturals (c) w/Jimmy Hart vs Bobby Roode & Eric Young w/A1 (NWA-TNA World Tag Team Championships)
About time these titles were defended after months and months. This rules as they match up well again despite it not being a match TNA has given us much. EY is insane again dying on everything, and Bobby is sick as hell in the muscle clean up role, and out Nats are growing more and more as faces. Really nice control seg on Andy with EY getting the time to shine this time with solid offence and cheating. Chase has a fun hot tag before it breaks down, and TNA's most upsetting habit is not letting the hot tag go long enough before they let it all go nuts. Andy hits EY with the megaphone and frames Roode for it and the Nats retain via DQ

Post match, TC go on the attack but AMW make the save for their old rivals. They grab the titles and hand them over as both teams get ready for it to boil over, but it doesn't happen and AMW leave without incident

Match#3 Abyss w/James Mitchell vs Apollo w/Sonny Sikia.
This is 8 fucking minutes because even peak TNA has to do stupid shit no matter what. Apollo is terrible and can't do anything well or fun, so of course they have a bad brawl for most of it. Abyss with his a BHS

Lance Hoyt runs through the crowd and fights him and manages to knock him out of the ring. He gets the mic and says Abyss picked the wrong man to mess with it, and he gets the fans to chant his name.

In the back, Monty yells at Larry that this isn't fair on him or Kip. Larry said he has no choice after the last few months, so Monty says he's going to turn this into his hunting grounds.

Match#4 Raven & Sabu vs Diamonds in the Rough
Good showcase for the reunited super team. Sabu gets a lot of time to work as Raven is breaking down by the week, so it's a lot of fun watching him beat up these two dorks. DY is beaten by an Evenflow and the Arabian Skullcrusher

In the back, Douglas asks Shocker if he took Shelley lightly, and Shocker admits he did. He asks for another match with him at Sacrifice so they can finally settle this now they're 1-1. Seems fair.

Match#2 AJ Styles vs Petey Willams w/A1 (Semifinals)
Daniels is on commentary and is pissed that people think AJ is better than him when he's held the title longer than he ever did. He also says he beat Petey, so he wants his respect. AJ builds the match from the ground up as always and it's a good slow burn to the eventual explosion. AJ tries for a apron powebomb, but Petey counters into a sick legdrop and A1 hits him with a larit and Petey goes to work. He's super focused again working on the neck and back and his growth over the last few weeks rightly makes me look like an asshole. AJ's selling is the classic working man style of holding at it but fighting through because it's who he is. He slowly fights back and goes right for power stuff to fuck him up as quick as he can, and it's the smartest play as he's hurt and outnumbered so he can't waste a second. Finishing run is good as they change things up from their last meeting and both have to use new stuff. AJ pulls Petey down when he tries the Sharpshooter and rolls him up to win

Awesome showcase for Rhino as Sabin is the best plucky underdog they can pick for him. He's on fire with his offence and makes Rhino chase him down to get him to stop, and Rhino breaks out some sick power moves looking the best he has since 2003 when he was teaming and feuding with Benoit. Sabin takes a wicked beating but also refuses to die and keeps throwing hail Mary's any time he can, but he can't stop him and dies via the GORE GORE GOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Post match, Raven runs down and fights him until Jarrett joins in. They beat him down until Sabu makes the save. They all fight and Raven is placed on a table AND RHINO POWERBOMBS SABU THROUGH HIM BUT THE TABLE DOESN'T BREAK SO RHINO SMASHES HIM THROUGH IT AGAIN. JESUS CHRIST. Jarrett locks Raven in the Figure Four to end the show.

To kick off the show, Simon Diamond announces that Elix Skipper has the Diamonds In the Rough as he's a real star that needs guidance. Hate this stable a lot because Simon is a goof, but anything is better than nothing.

TNA making the most hodgepodge teams ever for the fuck of it is such a cool thing. Like a dartboard of wrestlers they need to fill time with. This is a good 6 minutes of bullshit as the good wrestlers do really well, and the bad ones are kept at the wayside for the most part. Tenay announces that if Raven is pinned tonight by Jarrett. he faces him at the next PPV, but if Raven wins, Jarrett doesn't get a title shot for 12 months!!! Also, Jeff Hardy has been forced to show up at this show after his suspension, and if he doesn't show his career in TNA is possibly over. PLEASE NO SHOW NERO. Anyway, match is good between all this news, and Sabin beats Skipper with a cradle

We go to footage of the Spike TV announcement on the pre-show which is then interrupted by Jarrett and Rhino that in turn lead to all the added stips for the main event.

In the back, Douglas is standing by with the Nats and Jimmy. Jimmy says he cant plan for a night like this and this all about the titles, but it's not about that. The Nats say this about ending Team Canada's reign of terror. Jarrett walks on and says with TNA heading to Spike, these boys could be heading for the unemployed line as it's about what they've done now and not in the past. The Nats rightly say he haven't spoken to them in 9 months when he last needed something. Jeff says they have to stick together otherwise they're all in trouble. Jimmy says this is paranoia and they've got Team Canada to worry about. They leave as Jarrett asks Shane where AMW are.

Fuck yeah, rubber match time. Fantastic mat work to begin with both men being smooth and cool as hell on top of always doing something different and cool. Shocker gets the knee as his main target and bends it with a gross single leg crap that bends it all the way back. and Alex's selling is awesome. Alex fires back and goes after the knee in revenge for some duelling limb work. Shocker breaks first and turns into a fight and it's good times as he really gets brutal at this little shit and his knee, and Alex is so good at getting his ass beaten and selling the knee throughout as Shocker beats the hell out of it with a ton of cool stuff. Shocker stays on and him and really whips his ass and kills the knee, and looks to have it done, BUT ALEX COUNTERS A PIN INTO ONE OF HIS OWN AND PUTS HIS FEET ON THE ROPES TO STEAL IT. FUCK YEAH ALEX WINS ON PPV

In the back, Douglas is with Abyss and Mitchell. Shane says many military men thought that had it won but realised it was an all time blunder like when Pear Harbour happened and Yamamoto famously said "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve". Mitchell says they aren't concerned at all. Lots of great big men have been in this spot before, but not one can compare to Abyss. Lance is a sizeable bump in the road that they told wasn't a target, but he stood on his legs and wanted to fight. His redneck fans cheer him on and give him that heart, but Abyss is going to be so cruel that even Saddam would says it's excessive. There is only room for one giant in TNA and it's Abyss.

Match#3 Abyss w/James Mitchell vs Lance Hoyt
LANCE RUNS RIGHT DOWN AND FIGHTS HIM BECAUSE FUCK BEING AFRAID OF ANYONE. Killer offence as he unloads punches and other good stuff, and it's the best he's looked thus far. Abyss bumps really big for him, and it's nutty seeing a dude that size move the way he does. Tenay points at that Lance is actually taller but weighs less than Abyss, and he needs to be quicker than ever. Abyss flings him into the rail the moment he gets a chance, and turns into a back and forth for a while until he catches hm with a lariat to cut him off. Good control seg from the big man, and Lance does well as a FIP for the first time in a single match as he sells well for the big man. His comeback rocks as he nails a huge chokeslam and the moonsault and gets a super close near fall no one has gotten since AJ. Abyss brings in a chair, but Lance boots into his face for another 2.9 count, and it's insane watching the Zone lose it's damn mind at it. AND THEN LANCE HITS THE FUCKING VAN TERMINATOR FROM ONE SIDE OF THE SIX SIDED RING TO THE OTHER FOR ANOTHE CRAZY 2.9 COUNT. HOLY SHIT YEAH. Lance picks him back up and goes for the boot, but Abyss catches him out of nowhere with the Black Hole and gets the 3. That fucking ruled

In the back, Shane is with BG James. Shane says everyone wants to know where his head is at the moment. BG says he feels like the sacrificial lamb at the moment and he's got his wrist taped for a reason. Ron and Konnan walk on, and Konnan screams that he doesn't trust him anymore and his head is up his ass and he cant believe he stood up for Kip. Truth says Spike is coming up and he still has belief in him and he wants him to do the right thing.

Match#4 Konnan & Ron Killings vs Monty Brown & Kip James (Special guest referee; BG James)
A big brawl breaks out right away like last month in the street fight, and it's good fun as only of these men is a good wrestler, but all can at least fight to their credit. Truth is isolated by Monty and the control is good thanks to him being good again for one night. Kip is dogshit and brings nothing to it, but Truth works his ass off for him. Should have sandbagged him tbh. BG is honest and shit and wont let either side cheat and calls it down the middle, which in turn pisses all of them off. BG takes a chair off Kip when he tries to brain Konnan, AND HE PUNCHES HIM IN THE HEAD AND SENDS HIM INTO A CHAIR SHOT FROM KONNAN FOR THE 3

Christopher Daniels comes out for his match, and Tenay explains this is the internet dream match where fans voted for an independent wrestler for him to face tonight!!! Daniels gets the mic and says Jarrett is wrong about being replaced as no one can replace him. TNA is bringing someone from the outside to face him, and that man is AUSTIN ARIES!!!!!!!! He might be Mr ROH, but this is TNA and he is going to be nothing but a tune up match for Mr TNA. Awesome angle, but i wish to Christ TNA had actually promoted this and made it a big deal. LOLTNA as always.

Match#5 Christopher Daniels vs Austin Aries
Tenay says Aries beat out Sydal, Lethal and Strong for this spot at 55% of the vote! Super crisp opening as Aries takes it right to him and turns it into a sick back and forth with both men looking fantastic as you'd expect. Tenay does a great job of explaining who Aries is and what he brings to the table, and Austin more than lives up to the hype being fucking stellar on offence and defence as he's in his peak as one of the best in the world. He hits a gorgeous tope and is stupidly smooth on everything he hits, and really fucks Daniels days up. DW is in love with him from the bat as he says Tenay explained to him who he was, but seeing is believing. Daniels catches him with a shoulderbreaker to finally kill his run of offence and goes to work with another run of wonderful offence. He pinballs him all over the place and Aries takes a ton of abuse and really shows out what he can do getting his ass beaten. Aries won't die and keeps fighting back and whipping Daniels ass whenever he can, and his eventual full comeback is awesome as he breaks out all the cool shit he can do including that dropkick and pendulum elbow along with everything being smooth and crisp as possible. Daniels misses the BME and Aries punts him in the head and nails the 450, but Daniels gets the ropes!!! They go for broke trying to end it and Aries gets super close, but Daniels counters a suplex into a the Angles Wings to pull the win out of his ass.

In the back, Shane is with AMW. Harris says not a day goes by when its not about them and the Nats, but tonight they'll take out Team Canada and get back on the hunt for the titles. Jarrett walks on and says this is the biggest night of their lives and there are major changes coming. They are the cornerstones of TNA, but AMW are on the to be fired list!!!! Aries is here now and that shows the changes that TNA management are making, and he got to Rhino before anything could happen. They better not trust anyone. Storm says he doesn't trust his mama or his third cousin whose dog got ran over, let alone him Jeff cuts him off and says he knows for a fact they're talking to a big tag team to debut. Harris asks for proof! Jeff says he doesn't like to be called a liar and come October there will be major changes. He leaves the scene as AMW seem to seriously think about what he has just said.

Match#6 Sean Waltman vs Jerry Lynn
DW asks about the history and Tenay does an amazing job breaking it down explaining the history of these two from the early matches in GFW back in the early 90's that put them on the map and lead to the X-Division as we know it. He calls them true pioneers of wrestling in a really incredible call that 100% true. Really good feeling out to start as they play on that history and neither man can truly get ahead as they know each so well, and Sean is thrown off that Lynn is actually still that motherfucker from all those years ago that he thought was long dead. Pac decks him with a gross kick to the face, but Jerry is able to fight through and hits a sick crossbody off the top and beats the shit out of him. Pac catches him with a shoulderblock to the post to hurt the injured shoulder!!! Awesome control from Pac as it's him just wreaking the arm like a complete asshole, and Lynn selling his ass off. Shark Boy comes out to watch and it followed by babyface X-Division wresters who all cheer on Lynn. Jerry fights like hell to get something going and he gets closer and closer despite the arm being dead, AND HE HITS A SUPLEX OVER THE ROPES TO SEND PAC TO THE FLOOR TO FINALLY KILL HIM FOR A MOMENT. DW LOSES HIS MIND AS HE SCREAMS THIS IS HEART. Jerry's comeback rocks as his arm is still dead but he fights through and reigns hell down on the Kid one last time. He counters him time and time again and hits a nasty sitout powerbomb. His arm dies again when he tries the Cradle Piledriver and it turns into a sweet back and forth for the last part with a ton of counters and near falls. Pac lifts Lynn up, but Jerry jumps on his shoulder and gets a tight victory roll to steal the win!!!

Post match, they shake hands and Pac raises his arm in victory, NAH HE HITS A FUCKING SHOULDERBREAKER TO THE INJURED SHOULDER AND HITS IT WITH A CHAIR!!! The X-Division wrestlers run down and make the save. Pac walks over to the desk and says respect means nothing to him.

In the back, Team Canada hype themselves up and shit.

Match#7 America's Most Wanted & The Naturals w/Jimmy Hart vs Team Canada
Good opening of the faces working together to fight the common enemy and doing ok to put aside the shit for a time. A1 hits Storm in the dick to isolate him, and TC have a fun control seg lead by the ever improving (yeah i know i keep saying it, but he's fucking gooooood) Bobby Roode. Chase gets a faux hot tag before he is isolated as well, and that's very good as well. Chase manages to knock EY to the floor in which the latter takes a Flair drop the fucking ground!!!! Andy has a sweet hot tag before the breaking down happens as it tends to do. As always, everyone gets crazy trying to end it and it's fun as hell. Roode sends Chase into Harris and grabs the tights to steal it for the Canadians

Match#8 AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe (Super X-Cup Finals)
They go slow to start as neither wants to make a mistake, and it feels like a chess game between two masters not wanting to mess up. AJ breaks first and hits a leg sweep to drop him and he goes on a flurry of offence to keep him grounded (hip tosses, kicks and punches and awesome forearms) BUT JOE DROPS HIM WITH ONE PUNCH TO THE FACE TO SEND HIM TO THE ROPES AND THEN SPRINTS AT HIM FULL SPEED AND KICKS IN THE FACE TO SEND HIM TO THE FLOOR. JESUS CHRIST. Daniels says he nearly killed him outright, and then Joe runs again and kills AJ with an amazing elbow suicida!!! AJ won't die and slides under the rail and hits the forearm over the top to crack him in the head, and goes back into the fray. He grounds him and works the head and neck in a cool idea as fighting him is the wrong idea, so doing this is the smarter play. HOWEVER, AJ can't help himself as always, and goes for the power game and gets caught with a nasty slam and Joe starts beating the fuck out of him with an array of incredible offence that batters and damn near kills AJ. Joe breaks out the knees and punches mixed with a goddamn flurry of power stuff that AJ dies off time and time again in new and insane gross ways. Love that AJ could have had the match in his way if he wasn't a hot tempered moron, but that's why he's the fucking king. Joe keeps wreaking him and gets super cocky and has so much fun doing it. He hits a gross powebomb and turns into the double leg crab and lets out this amazing smile like he's having the best time of his life just killing this fool. AJ won't die though and keeps fighting back and dropping him in spite of the beating. He hits the Dropkick/DDT combo and gets a super close 2.9 off it, and Joe snaps back to life and goes for the kill. AJ won't die and knocks him down and hits a sweet springboard splash and tries the Clash, but Joe hooks his legs and spins him all over the mat and lets go as AJ attempts a Pele, but he's too dizzy and hits nothing but air, AND JOE KILLS HIM WITH A LARIAT TO THE FACE AND TURNS HIM INSIDE OUT BUT AJ KICKS OUT AND SOMEHOW MOUNTS ANOTHER COMEBACK AND SLAPS THE SHIT OUT OF HIM, BUT JOE SLAPS HIM BACK AND THEY BOTH COLLAPSE TO THE MAT. JOE GETS BACK UP AND TRIES THE MUSLE BUSTER BUT AJ FIGHTS OUT AND GETS HIM IN A RACK AND SWINGS JOE LEGS INTO THE REF TO KILL HIM. Daniels rips his headset off and gets in the ring and hits AJ!! Joe walks over and stares him down like he's nothing, and AJ runs back over hits a lariat to knock him out of the ring. JOE CLOBBERS AJ AGAIN AND LIFTS HIM UP INTO THE MUSCLE BUSTER AND KILLS HIM AND LOCKS IN THE CHOKE AND AJ FIGHTS TO HIS LAST BREATHE BUT HE CAN'T DO IT AS JOE CHOKES HIM TIGHTER AND TIGHTER AND FORCES AJ TO TAP.

A goddamn motherfucker of a match, and again a scary thing to consider it's not even the best match they'll have in this year. I love TNA 2005 so much.

Post match, Daniels clutches at his title looking fucking terrified as Joe holds up the trophy and stares his ass down like he's just his next victim and nothing else.

In the stairway, Raven is standing by. Raven says the title is like Jarrett's teddy bear or binky and he's lost without it. He knows his old man taught him it's the holy grail fro birth, but he knows he's nothing without it. His partner Sabu is a man he hates, but the respect cancels that out and they are a human cancer and they will get rid of them

Match#9 Raven & Sabu vs Jeff Jarrett & Rhino (Title Shot vs 12 months of no title shots for Jeff Jarrett)
This a big brawl without being no DQ in an odd choice given the 4 men in this, but whatever. Opening brawl is rad as fuck as they all go nuts as per, and Sabu and Rhino match up super well as he learnt at ONS. Raven/Jarrett is good as hell as well. They fight around ringside and the plunder is broken out and it all rules as they nuke each other with nasty shots and bleed buckets. Jarrett gets a gusher and finally gets his ass handed to him by Raven in the most cathartic beating in TNA history thus far after the shitshow of 2003. Sabu is isolated by Rhino and gets uncorked and beats the shit out of him! Raven has a great hot tag and unloads this amazing babyface beating like he's 80's Magnum TA or Tommy Rich, and holy shit it's so good, Jarrett cuts him off and we get a short but sick control seg, and i love how chaotic this all is. Jarrett tries to use the guitar but Cassidy makes the save and steals it off him It doesn't make a difference though as Rhino wreaks Raven in amazing, amazing fashion and kills his ass. Everything breaks down as Sabu gets the hot tag and they all go nuts trying to kill each other. Raven hits JJ with the Evenflow, but Rhino saves and murders him with the GORE. The ref gets bumped and Sabu goes for the kill on Rhino with the facebuster, BUT ABYSS RUNS OUT AND CUTS HIM OFF AND PRESS SLAMS HIM THROUGH A TABLE. BUT NERO HARDY RETURNS AND KILLS ABYSS WITH A CHAIR SHOT AND HITS JARRETT WITH THE TWIST OF FATE AND THE SWANTON BOMB TO SAVE HIS JOB, SADLY. RAVEN MAKES THE PIN BUT RAVEN CUTS IT OFF AND SETS UP A TABLE IN THE CORNER. RAVEN GOES FOR THE EVENFLOW ON JARRETT, BUT RHINO RUNS OUT OF NOWHERE WITH THE GORE TO SEND HIM THROUGH IT AND HE MAKES THE PIN AS SABU IS A SECOND LATE ON THE SAVE, FUCK YEAH

Incredible Joe squash against an old buddy in ROH. He unloads a goddamn murder and then some for a few minutes. He breaks the amazing walk off spot and then kills the kid with a gross running senton. He hits a wicked Muscle Buster and locks in the Clutch to win.

DANIELS RUNS IN FROM BEHIND AND HITS JOE IN THE BACK WITH THE TITLE, BUT JOE DOESN'T BUDGE. HE HITS HIM AGAIN AND GOES FOR THE WINGS, BUT JOE COUNTERS IT.. AJ STYLES RUNS OUT AND ATTACKS DANIELS AS WELL. JOE TAKES OUT DANIELS WITH A GROSS LARIAT AND AJ KNOCKS JOE OUT OF THE RING AND STARES THEM BOTH DOWN. YESSSSSS.

In the back, Shane Douglas is standing out Larry's office and says he's in there with Jarrett arguing over Rhino getting the shot. They walk out of the office and Jeff says he's tired of being nice and he is demanding he gets the shot. Larry says if he can get Rhino to step aside and give him his spot, then he can have it. Jeff says this is a no brainer, and hey Rhino walks on and asks if he's looking for him. Jeff says he knows the, trick cons and lies that the TNA politicians tell, and for the good of the company with the debut on Spike, he needs the shot. He promises him a title shot once he beats Raven. Rhino says he can have the title shot...AFTER he pins Raven. He pokes Jeff's chest and says he's first in line before walking into Larry’s office and closing the door in JJ’s face.

Mike Tenay announces the first ever Chris Candido Memorial Tag Team Tournament ! Where a veteran will team with a rookie to give them help and guidance as Chris had done in the last part of his career, and the winners will earn a tag title shot that will take place at Unbreakable. It's a really lovely idea and a truly fitting tribute to him.

Mike says all teams were chosen by blind drawing this morning. Also, it's easy to forget that Sabin is actually a kid and not an old man given all he's done at this point. The faces slowly get on the same page and break out some cool double teams and look good in the process. Heel teams not much other than warm bodies, but they do it well enough. Short decent control seg on Sabin before Shocker has a fun hot tag. Sabin beats Mikey with the Cradle Shock.

In the back, Monty Brown is mad at hell at Kip for trusting BG James after months and months of him telling him otherwise. Monty is now on the hunt for BG to finally take him out, and then he's coming for the world title no matter whose holding it. Time for our by monthly Monty push before he gets thrown to side again.

Match#3 Rhino vs Sonny Siaki w/Apollo
Tenay announces Lynn is out for a month after the attack from Waltman. Not a great Rhino match as he gives far too much to this dweeb before he kills him with the GORE

Rhino gets on the mic and yells GORE GORE GORE. He says he's going to make Raven bleed and hurt him over and over before he gets that title. Hell, he's not waiting for the PPV, he wants his ass out here now. Raven walks out and says he's going to pay for goring him. He gets in the ring but blackshirts hold them both back, BUT RHINO GETS FREE AND KILLS HIM WITH THE GORE GORE GOREEEEEEEEEEEE.

Match#4 BG James & Cassidy Riley vs Ron Killings & Sonjay Dutt (Candido Cup Quarterfinals)
BG and Truth are wearing matching attire to show they're brothers again, and they dance together. The partners get mad at them, so they both deck them and it turns into a fun match. Truth and Dutt work well together and isolate Cassidy, and the kids work their asses off to show they can hang with the bigger stars. Cassidy drops Truth with a gross Fisherman buster, and BG gets mad and goes to check on him, so Cassidy righty shoves him, so BG takes him out with a Pump Handle!! Sonjay quickly hits the 450 to get the win.

In Abyss' lair, Mitchell says the championship committee must be deaf because they didn't hear him when he made it clear that Abyss will not wait for title shot. Imagine his dismay when he finds out Raven is facing Bobby Roode for the title next week. Roode is a good wrestler, but he's not 6ft8 300 pound monster like Abyss. Next week, he gets a shot or he's crippling everyone in his way. Larry needs to put the golf clubs down or the blood is on his hands. He calls Abyss his weapon of mass destruction, and the end result is obvious if they don't get the title match. CLICK! DOOMSDAY! AHHHHHH FUCK YES

Match#5 The Naturals (c) w/Jimmy Hart vs Eric Young & A1 (NWA-TNA World Tag Team Championships)
Damn it, A1 is finally allowed to wrestle on tv and he's sooooo bad and lame. A real case of D'Amore forcing his bad students on TV now that has booking power. Nats dominate EY for a while and it's not too shabby. AI hits Chase from behind to isolate him, and the break thankfully cuts off most of the control seg as what we do get is pretty boring compared to TC's normal work. But that's what you get when A1 can only do chin locks and bad slams, and moves at a snails pace. It all breaks down as it tends to and the rest of TC jump the champs for the DQ

Post match, they outnumber and beat the snot out of them until AMW make the save and clean the ring. Nats get back up and yell that they don't need their help and they shove them, so AMW fight these ungrateful fucks to close the show.

Tenay is horrified that Waltman is here after Sacrifice. The kids go to the mat to start with a fantastic little battle that i wish had been a proper match in TNA, but sadly not. Shark/Pac rules as well as he beats the shit out of him, and we get some killer Sharky bumps and a control seg. Abyss gets in and kills them both with ease and then murders Shark with the BHS on instinct, and leaves with James. Shelley gets in and kills him with the Shellshock to win.

Love to see TNA finally building new teams after months of the same boring crap. Good showcase for Diamonds as they wreak house and the kids take wild bumps for them. Well, for DY as he fucking rules and kills them. Simon is. bum. DY kills Clarke with the Spinebuster

In the back, Larry announces a 4-way elimination at the PPV for the tag titles between the Nats, AMW, Team Canada and the winners of the cup. Christopher Daniels walks in and says he is the most important part of the move to Spike, and he needs to be protected. He's facing Joe at the PPV, but he can't watch his back every time AJ attacks him. So, Larry needs to fire or suspend him, otherwise Larry will be managing a softball team. Larry says he's going to keep it simple stupid and go with the flow, so at the Unbreakable it will be A THREE WAY DANCE FOR THE TITLE. HOLY SHIT HERE WE GO.

Match#3 Elix Skipper w/Simon Diamond vs Apollo w/Sonny Siaki
Oh No. This is 5 terrible minutes as Skipper does whatever he can from his end to make it work, but then he chooses to work the leg to ground the monster, and hey Apollo can't sell so fuck that. Apollo wins with his awful TKO.

In the back, Shane is with Kip & Petey for their upcoming tag match. Kip says he's not old, he's really that good. (lame shot at HHH). Monty walks on and yells at him about the BG stuff, and tells him to get his head back into the game so he can get to his big plan that includes him. Jarrett walks on and says they're being hunted by TNA management and they will be replaced if they don't stick together. Petey says Coach D'Amore says they're with him. Kip is also on his side. Monty says Jeff blew his chance and now he's serving notice to him and everyone else that he's on top of the food chain and the NWA championship is coming to him.

Match#4 Kip James & Petey Willams vs Konnan & Lance Hoyt (Candido Cup Quarterfinals)
One of the ugliest matchups TNA could ever run. Konnan and Kip are even more horrible tonight as they wiff on offence and just don't give a shit. Konnan throws his shoe and falls on his ass during it in of the funniest things ever. The heels take out his knee and the control is boring as fuck as they don't bother to work the leg, and instead do bad offence that he lazily sells. It all breaks down and Lance takes Kip's stupid head off with a boot to win.

They're the most dominate team in TNA and they're walking out with the titles. Storm says they got that rep by beating people up and fighting for everything. Sorry bout your damn luck.

In the back, Larry and Shane are walking around looking for Jeff Hardy to keep him line and this happens


It's also announced that it will be Nero vs Roode at Unbreakable

Match#5 Raven vs Bobby Roode w/Petey Willams
DW gushes over Bobby getting this match and says one day this will be for real in a title match, and it's another moment of Don being the best. Really fun opening as they slug it out and turn into a fight, and with Raven's body breaking down it's the best choice as he's still a killer fighter if nothing else. Bobby slips in a kick to the dick and the Lariat to take over, and he has a great control full of awesome punches and cheating on top of selling his bad arm that Raven slammed into the post at the start of the match. Raven takes a beating and looks near death the entire time in the best way, and it's a super cool way for him to sell for Bobby. Again, the body is cooked but the mind is still one of the best to ever do it. They fight on the outside and Raven gets a flash Russian leg sweep to finally cut him off, and he makes a sweet comeback as he ramps up his speed and gives it all he's got. Finishing run is quick and fun as both dudes are hurt and do what they can to end it. The ref gets taken out and Petey attacks with the flag. Riley runs out and attacks him to save Raven! Raven fights out of the Sharpshooter and hits the Evenflow to pull the win out.

Post match, Rhino rushes the ring and fights Raven again. Awesome fight for 30 seconds before Abyss runs out and attacks Raven and helps Rhino double team him. THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND SABU MAKES HIS RETURN AND HURLS CHAIRS RIGHT AT THEIR FACES. HE CLEANS HOUSE AND POSES AS MITCHELL HOLDS ABYSS BACK AND FORCES HIM TO THE BACK. Wonderful stuff.
