Just saw this. Would be a good match IMO. Not sure what the story will be behind it though.

The story would be something like 'Let's steal the show, bro!'

Oh my bad. Since you quoted it here I'll delete that thread. No need to merge when you already got all the info. The story would be something like 'Let's steal the show, bro!'

EDIT: Seems someone already did
Sorry, haha.Umm, not sure if I follow. What's the deal here, again?
Sorry, haha.
That post was actually a thread I started. I thought you quoting was a nice way of saying "this thread already exists" so I was going to go delete mine.
Turns out my thread was already merged with yours and you just quoted it from the thread. I didn't notice it until I went to delete my thread (after that last post).
That clear it up?
:dafuq:
This seems like that 'lack of ambition' test Daniel Bryan was referring to in this interview: http://www.alternativenation.net/daniel-bryan-interview/
He's resigned himself to working the low card. It reminds me of what happened to Eddie Guerrero just one year following WM 20 when he accepted a 'friendly' match with his buddy Rey Mysterio.
Steve Austin had issues when he wasn't main eventing, which tells me he was the very definition of ambitious.
I enjoy Bryan's attitude, but it only justifies the perception from the management that he is a B+ level player.
Bryan isn't just small in stature, but he is perceived to be a hippy with a lack of capitalistic drive. I personally disagree, but that perception is magnified even more now in the eyes of management.
I disagree. If you resign yourself to something, or in this case, Bryan's resigned himself to working the midcard, that doesn't mean he likes it, but he must accept it because he can't change it.
According to the rumors he asked to face him, so it must've mean't they had different plans, possibly more "Main event" caliber plans.Just because Bryan's resigned himself to working the midcard, that doesn't mean he likes it, but he must accept it because he can't change that situation.
I disagree.
That is a self defeating mentality to employ.
It's the main reason Bryan tested with low ambition.
Vince sees Daniel Bryan as weak. It isn't true, but it doesn't help matters that Bryan 5'8.
The reason Vince 'says' Cena was the only person who wanted to grab the brass ring was because John Cena never accepted being mediocre.
The perception is that Bryan accepts a mediocre 'look', a mediocre fanbase and a mediocre position in the company. I don't believe this, completely, but management probably sees this.
The cream always rises to the top. If you are truly the best, it will show.I don't think anybody wants to accept being mediocre, but when you have the higher-ups holding you down, there's not much you can do.
Umm, Bryan is not Vince's fetish, he's not the prototype of what Vince thinks the ME superstar should look like.
However, if Bryan can't change Vince's mind with his performances in the ring and such about that he is THE guy, the crowd can. Just like they did last year.
At the end of the day, Vince has the final ['Screw you, we're going my way.'] say, so if you don't like it, there's the door.
Bryan's been the hottest thing on the roster for the last 2 years, Vince keeps on brushing it off. And at the Royal Rumble, it backfired.
