Prior to signing a new contract with TNA, Taz tried very hard to get back in WWE. Specifically, he wanted to return in time for WWE’s recent RAW taping from Brooklyn, NY. Taz called several people in WWE, but it soon became obvious that Executive Producer Kevin Dunn had no interest in bringing him back.

During a recent production meeting, WWE EVP Triple H said, “TNA doesn’t have anyone we need.â€￾

So nope. I agree for the most part. Until Jerry decides to leave they don't need another wrestler/announcer. Nobody in the ring is really needed in WWE sure Angle or Sting would do well may even get a small ratings bump.

Yeah, agreed... are there guys in TNA that could do well in WWE, sure... but there is certainly nobody the WWE "needs".... LIke ^^^^^^ said, Angle and Sting would be immediately over and I think guys like AJ, Joe, Roode, Aries and the Dudleys could do fine in the company but I don't see Trips and Vince going out of their way to get any of them.. unless it's Sting for a Rumble, Mania, HOF, DVD package.. but I doubt they'd lose sleep if that deal never happens

This is absolutely ture, TNA has nothing WWE needs. I've looked throught th entire roster and don't see anyone who is going to be a game changer for WWE.

Maybe they could do something with Joe, WWE seems to be the only company who knows how to successfully push Samoans. AJ Styles is too vanilla to be anything, high flyers are a dime a dozen and you can find them anywhere these days. Bobby Roode is a person they could use, probably won't get further than midcard in WWE though. And thats it.

They have no creative member they would want, no VPs or agents who are worth a shit, and Al Snow who seems to being doing everything there right now will most likely be legit talking to his mannequin head pretty soon from his heavy workload.

I miss Mickie James. Otherwise, only Joe would be exciting to see in WWE for me. I don't care about the Sting hype anymore but neato if that ever happens.

I wouldn't mind seeing AJ Styles go to WWE honestly. He may not be interesting as a character anymore but there would be so much potential for fresh and good matches in the WWE, even if he only goes as high as the mid card I'll still take it. I hear a lot about Booby Rhoode being successful in the ring but I don't see it, he's just too boring for me. And regarding Samoa Joe... no. I think WWE's tried to push enough of the big men through WWE, but rarely if ever do they ever go over (Umaga being the only exception).

Need? They don't even need the TNA library.

There is a few things they may be nice to have like Sting or Hogan or Eric just for a few more bucks. Same with Joe and AJ as mid card workers. That said they aren't a necessity at all anymore than NXT going on the road full time isn't

I'll echo the sentiment that they don't need anybody from the roster but it wouldn't hurt to have some of their guys who honestly need WWE. I think Roode, AJ and Joe could be guys who could make an impact in WWE. AJ and Joe are guys who are capped out in TNA who need a fresh start esp Joe. Would love to see Joe in WWE who would probably get motivated again going up against guys like Punk, Bryan and Cesaro.

Matt Morgan? Oh wait...

I don't think that there is anyone on the TNA roster that WWE really need. They have some useful wrestlers but of their current maineventers I can't see any getting a decent run in WWE. If I was WWE I would go after Magnus because he has the most potential of anyone of the roster and is young enough that he can be moulded to their style. I still think that WWE could do something with Abyss if they really wanted, wouldn't be a long term thing but a 12 month storyline based on a similar character that he has now that ends up being the old neighbour of Kane and Undertaker. Bad Influence would be a good addition to the tag team division but WWE don't worry about pushing that division so they don't need another tag team.

If WWE were serious about women's wrestling Gail Kim and Mickie James would be targets but as we saw with Gail Kim a couple of years ago they clearly don't care.

Yeah I don't think WWE need anyone that works at TNA but I would love to see Roode and Aries get a shot in the big times.

Turns out to be HHH's long lost brother. I can see WWE looking at him but I don't see him as someone that will become an instant star in WWE plus he is getting on in age, must be getting close to 40 now.

WWE have never "needed" any TNA talent and honestly anyone worthwhile they could have got should have been years ago (Roode, AJ, Joe, Aires)

I have been calling him Triple Roode ever since he cut his hair, could do a story with HHH's mom just gave him away to some Canadian family on the street. He's 36 right now so you never know WWE could give him that "Del Rio first year push"

There is enough of a resemblance for them to pretend to be brothers on television. Have Roode appear as his long lost brother but in the end it was all a lie and he was just using HHH to get a job with WWE. Thought he was older than that, should have a few more years left in him but honestly if WWE haven't reached out to him during his ten years in TNA I doubt they will start now.

Pretty much what most of the others have said, WWE doesn't necessarily need anyone from TNA but there's damn sure a decent group of talent who they could take and do some good stuff with.
