No.
The PPV was awful.

WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY THAT
Well for some of it, I believe in Capital punishment, but sometimes I don't think a punishment like that is very needed. If someone had a psychological episode once and they killed someone, yeah it is bad and I don't say they should just go around free roaming, but in a case like that I don't believe in capital punishment. I think what that person would need is to be put in an insane asylum. Although in a case where this guy is a mass killer and has killed/raped many people, and really doesn't seem to care maybe it is a case where Capital punishment is needed, because if he's done it without regrets he can easily do it again. But I do think before we would automatically execute someone we would have to think about life in prison too, but then that really makes me think whether Capital Punishment is needed for anything. Life in prison would be just as worse if not more worse, the only thing to think about is if they escape and then get caught again maybe Capital punishment is the only option you'll have, which doesn't happen often. So I am really on the edge with this thing, sometimes Capital Punishment can be necessary, but sometimes life in prison/insane asylum can do the trick.
Good input, still on the fence myself.
Thanks m8. Generally where I come from its immediate capital punishment for anything (Nigeria not Canada) which is part of the reason I'm unsure. Although I am not a huge "eye for an eye" mentality many people use in this world which is part of the reason I don't really believe in Capital Punishment also. So I guess we're all on the fence, haha
Say you were a juror and the vote came down to you. Would you be okay killing a man essentially?
To be honest I don't think so. I don't think I would be okay with being the reason some one is dead. Nice question though, how about you?
Hell yeah. Pedo who molested girl under 10? Put him up against a wall and shoot the fucker down. Sociopath? Give him 2 attempts at getting things changed, and then call it fair.
I've been lucky enough to spend around 4 weeks inside, and it wasnt prison, it wasnt lockdown jail, no. It was huber. People are on their best behavior (about 70% of a normal nice person) during hours they aren't out for work, drug court, AA meetings, or whatever the hell else they can get out for. Some babysit their kids and shit.
Anyways, there have been a # of those people i would have rather had disappeared. 2 dudes were chi-mos and were in huber so they didnt get their ass beat to hell in regular jail, and i think that's pitiful. There was this fucking pedo who was in a lockdown cell and would scream/kick walls (hard and must have hurt like hell) because he had been on lockdown for about 80 days of his 200+ day sentence. They had to move him because it took all of 5 minutes of him being in for people to recognize/figure out (On this note, people in jail are pretty damn street smart, some of these people did some things i would deem genius. Im getting off topic again) and therein lies the problem.
Watch a tv show like lockdown sometime, they do a few episodes where they show how prisons have side/lowered priority areas for narcs/pedos/other people who need to be kicked in the dick until they call it quits on life, and instead they have it about as easy as it possibly gets. Sheriff Arpio in NM is a huge piece of shit as he sets up some of the inmates to be raped (how fucked up is that, hes unapologetic about it too) but even he realizes pedos cant be cured.
A ton of wording that all boils to the point i think some people earn a right to be removed from this world. The only issue is how they are judged on their case, as it's easy to say "kill them all" until you see the one who was falsely accused/god knows what happened for years and years. Hindsight is 20/20, we just have to accept a moral ground on things we find to be unforgivable. Dont put god into this, let him do what he does, but let the law stand in favor of those who are innocent and the ones to whom justice is deserved. That is how i feel.
I'm pretty sure they have higher security for the narcs/pedos/ and gang drop outs, not lower. Other than that, great post. Agree to disagree
Also, you're assuming that people believe in your god. It's really an issue on morality rather than anything else.
No im saying i dont care about my god in this case and point, leave him out of the conversation whether you believe in one or dont (im not 100% either way tbh, i just hate how people blend church and state like it matters. People are good or people are bad.
Also just watch the show, it's called higher lockdown but they spend less time solo/have more access to tv/food/outside sources/etc. The one i watched two days ago had cantine hookups, good jobs, longer hours of activity/time outside your cell even though it was called a higher security area. I guess i worded it wrong, more staff doesnt mean more violence issues or people like the ones the others get. To get into that facility you were a pedo/narc and you knew if you fucked up you were going back to the main area to get your due.
And yes, what you asked before. If i was the last juror and it was all on me, if the evidence pointed to this person I would have 0 problem pulling the trigger. My only point there would be how secure the evidence was. If it was a coin flip, no i wouldnt want to punish the fucker with death. A grip of serial killers have been lucky enough to get convicted in states (through help of their lawyers) where the death penalty isnt an option, so they can ride out their lives contributing shit, in some cases STILL sending letters to the families they offend, and enjoy medical care i wish i could get hooked up with. Those fuckers need a quick bullet and no burial, you put those fuckers in the fire and then in an urn. That would save a ton of cash.
I'm a bit on the edge of this subject.
On one side I believe in equality, if a human takes another human life, I think it's fair that their life should be taken unless contained with a mental illness. Then send them to a mental facility, but keep them for life in prison still.
On another side, it seems that death is to easy of an escape for them. I don't say torture them, because then that makes us look like animals in a way too, even if they did murder or rape someone or multiple people. I say keep them in the rubber rooms. They get fed, have water and everything, but they can't do anything. No visits from anybody and no communication to the outside world. Their life is then just thoughts, thinking about what they did, thinking if it was really worth where they are at now. They cannot kill themselves, they have no rights, they are just there. That seems to be more suffering on a person than a death sentence in my opinion.
