Vin Diesel might've just hinted at an eighth Fast & Furious film — following the likely success of the seventh, out this weekend. He explains that they got Kurt Russell onboard to help with "a story that follows [the characters], that takes place in New York." That definitely implies more adventures with the Fast & Furious crew, right? Can't wait to see how they deal with the traffic in midtown.

Really do we need another especially after Paul is dead. 7 should be the last.

Why not keep the series going as long as it makes money. Fast 8 has already been hinted at for hella long time.

Exactly. If it makes money, they may as well continue. It's not like it's some Shakespearian opus that needs a grand finale.

Yeah but one of the lines in the new trailer is one last ride. End it now and go out on top

Yeah, as much as I detest all of these movies, the creators would be stupid to stop going to the well.

Personally I love the franchise going back to the first film, I didn't like the second one but the movies now are way better quality movies versus the old ones. They were missing something that really helped them make money, and what went wrong in those films, isn't happening in the past few lately. I said even better Paul's passing, that they would do two more leave it be. You can pretty much take them anyway in the world, and it will make money nuff said.

Funnily enough I just saw Furious 7. The ending would be a good way to end the franchise completely tbh but if it makes money, fuck it. Keep it going

The other day I saw Furious 7 and yeah the ending could wrap up the Franchise perfectly. I would say if they wanted to.

With Jason Statham in Jail, but not dead he could easily get out. Remember he said, I have loads of friends, don't be shocked one of those friends gets him out like his brother!

His little brother isn't dead either.

Statham just said his little bro is just crippled, which could mean anything.

I read a while ago that the first 6 were two separate trilogies, so 9 seems like a likely number.

But 9 is an awkward number to finish on, may as well go the whole hog with 10

Tokyo drift didn't really mean anything to the series except Han's death. There easily could have been 6 movies. I'm not sure how the first three were a trilogy since Tokyo drift didn't relate to the first two at all

Indeed which tells me if they want, next movie both of them versus Dom's crew. Problem is, Paul character wise is done he told Mia this is it for this life. So the crew is going to be weak, I'm shocked why didn't they use Lucas Black more the guy from Tokyo Drift, who was Han's friend? It would made sense for Sean to help Dom in finding Statham for Han. I would be smart next movie they add him to the team why not.
