Justin Gabriel was wearing a New Zealand Rugby Top.

Isn't he South African? WTF.

I want to know why he did this.

Yes but in his promo he was seen wearing a Springboks shirt when they hyped him as the South African Sensation and now he wears a New Zealand top...

That's kinda disrespecting your own country kinda... Eh, Just curious to know why.

I saw it too and thought it was wierd. If anything, you'd think as a South African he would've wanted France to beat New Zealand and that he wouldn't be caught did wearing a Kiwi shirt on live television.

Who knows, maybe it was a bet or something.

He's now a face.

They hyped him a month and a half ago as the 'South African Sensation' his promo also had him working with kids in South Africa and such. Part of BE A STAR Campaign.

Now thinking of that, maybe it was a kid's wish that Gabriel had to wear it on Smackdown.

That came to mind.

Probably did it to see if anyone would notice. Plus maybe he was trying to get some exposure out there for rugby and was supporting the new champions. Although pretty much all Australian and South African fans would have been cheering for France to beat New Zealand so they didn't go level with two World Cup wins.

LOL Andrew you dick I pointed this out to you. hahahaha. I dunno i think he was like no one in the US wil notice and the All Blacks just won a World Cup I think it was a more congratulatory thing. If it was a bet so be it but I dont think it was a major thing otherwise commentary probably would have pointed it out. But lol at taking credit for something I pointed out. Douchbag haha

Yeah, me being America, I had no clue what any of that stuff was. I just thought it was a Jersey. Didn't really care who, or what it was for. Honestly, I couldn't even tell you what sport it was for. Maybe a rib by him, or another, I dunno.

I noticed it was a Rugby jersey but had no idea who it was or the rivalry that he was wearing it against and whatnot. Like I said earlier and Tapout proved most Americans probably didn't even notice it, or thought cool Soccer Jersey since they tend to think that's the only non-American sport. (I have a Sport Management Degree, trust me on that one).
