RAVEN CASTING ANNOUNCED

Continuing the casting announcements for future DC projects. We today now have our fourth member of the group known as the Titans revealed. With us already being introduced to the more grounded and street level Dick Grayson (Dacre Montgomery), the more technological and futuristic Victor Stone (Denzel Whittaker) and now the alien princess Koriand'r (Savannah Smith). We will now be introduced to a more darker and horror element with the story of Rachel Roth aka Raven. Described as a troubled young woman who has spent many years in Azarath being raised by Monks, unlike the other heroes we have met so far, there are a lot of questions regarding just who is Rachel Roth and where did she come from. Shown to be incredibly powerful with gifts going further than her own comprehension.

This of course wouldn't be the first live interpretation of the Raven character as similar to many of the titans we first saw a look at her in the titans series as she was played by Teagan Croft. Seen as a true highlight of the show by many it is believed that writers of Tale of the Titans and producers rather than cast anew, actually brought in Croft and allowed her to audition for the role. It was said while Croft did well in her audition, it was instead a case of Croft being offered a different role in the DC Extended Universe which ruled her out of the running for the character of Rachel Roth/Raven. With Raven being such a popular character and one with such a darker story to tell it was said the casting process for this was extensive.

Taissa Farmiga who voiced the character before in animated films was also a candidate we know who was considered. Sadly an early fan favorite casting of Jenna Ortega was ruled out due to scheduling conflicts but we know that writers of the DC Extended Universe are eager to work with the Wednesday star. A few names we know for definite to have auditioned or spoke about the role included Megan Suri, Esme Creed Miles, India Eisley, Britt Baron, Joey King and Talia Ryder. It was said of this group both Eisley and Baron were in big discussion for the role when an actress who writers also had sought to work with similar to Ortega would agree to audition and became the hands down choice.

We can now confirm today in some exciting news that Dafne Keen has signed on and agreed to play the part of Rachel Roth. The 19 year old actress of course is no stranger to Superhero movies having memorably played the character of Laura aka X-23. It is said that Keen very much was able to portray the awkwardness and introverted side of Raven as she was never quite sure of who she could trust or let in. It has also been confirmed that Russian actress Yuliya Snigir has signed on to play the part of Raven's mother Angela Roth.

BEAST BOY CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT

In a continuation of a recent trend of announcements which preview chapter four of the DC Extended Universe. We know that today we will for now meet the final member of the Tale of the Titans Series. Having already been introduced to Dick Grayson (Dacre Montgomery) and Victor Stone (Denzel Whittaker) and having had announcements relating to Koriand'r/Starfire (Savannah Smith) and Rachel Roth/Raven (Dafne Keen). We know that the final film in the tale of the titans series has been described as it's most off the wall, ambitious, wild and comic centered yet as we focus on the story of Garfield Logan aka Beast Boy.

Described as playful, energetic, and often immature. It is said there is a lot more to these antics beneath the surface as there is a sadness and depression to Beast Boy which might be missed by the untrained eye. This of course won't be the first ever live action appearance of Beast Boy with Ryan Potter playing the character in the Titans series. In a similar fashion to what happened with Raven it was believed that Ryan Potter was afforded the option to reaudition for the role, but in this case Potter opted to pursue other roles within the franchise while also offering to help with the casting process.

It was said early on that at the top of the casting director's list was Timothee Chalamet. Reports indicate that Chalamet himself was very much open to the role and interested in working with the DC Extended Universe. Unfortunately due to outside scheduling conflicts, a deal could not be made but we know that both parties are very much said to be eager to working together in the future. A couple of names we do know who expressed an interest in the role were Ian Ousley and Inaki Godoy. Unfortunately for both it was said that neither got too far in the audition process. One name who did however was Gen V star Derek Luh who we know narrowly missed out on the part, the same was also said for Shazam star Asher Angel who was described for a time to be the first pick for the roel.

jack-dylan-grazer-losersclub.gif

Narrowly edging out his former Shazam colleague, we can now confirm that Jack Dylan Grazer has in fact been the actor selected to portray the role of Garfield Logan/Beast Boy. Glazer of course is no stranger to the DC universe as he previously played Freddie Freeman in the Shazam film series. It is said that Glazer's performances as Freddie showed that he could very much bring the intricacies of Garfield's character to life in his Tales of the Titans debut.

This chapter will not only continue stories of some already introduced and established characters but will also help introduce more characters to the franchise in the run up to the third Justice League film.

Dream Team - Suicide Squad film
Opening the fifth chapter of the DC Extended Universe will be it's first ever Suicide Squad film. This film will focus on a collective of villains and rogues brought together by the government in the hopes that they can do some good. It can firstly be confirmed that this film will see both Jensen Ackles and Kristen Stewart reprise their roles as Rick Flag and Copperhead respectively. On top of this we can confirm this film will feature the live action debuts of Deadshot, Amanda Waller, Bronze Tiger, Solomon Grundy, Count Vertigo, ManBat and Killer Frost. It has been said in homage to the Arrowverse, that the character of Ryan Wilder will also be making an appearance. It can be confirmed today that Sucker Punch star Emily Browning has been tabbed for a villainous role while Max Martini, Sofia Boutella and Kelly Reilly have also joined the cast.

Flashes of the Multiverse - Flash III
The third film of chapter five will be perhaps one of the most ambitious projects that we have seen since it's inception. As we know that in this film we will begin to explore aspects of the multiverse and alternative universes in the DC. This will be explored in the third Flash film as we know that Barry Allen will be thrust into the Speed verse where he will be introduced to all manner of speedsters some friendly and some not. This includes names such as Jay Garrick, Wally West and Jesse Quick. As we know Imogen Poots, Guy Pearce, Mark Harmon, Willem Dafoe, Gaten Mazzaro, Alexandra Ship and Luke Evans have signed on to appear.

The Darkest Reflection - Batgirl solo
Looking to continue on the establishing of the Bat family. We also know that the fourth film of chapter V will feature the first solo film of Jane Levy's Barbara Gordon/Batgirl. Showing her first solo operation as a hero out in the field as opposed to being stationed behind the desk. A plot point has been revealed that soon Barbara will find herself pursuing a dangerous criminal known as the Mad Hatter. We can confirm that Caleb Landry Jones, Kaya Scoledario and Peyton List have signed on to appear.

Sinestro Corps - Green Lantern III
In a tease of a future plotline to come we know that the third film in the Green Lantern series will introduce The Yellow Lanterns. With the sequel to Green Lantern still yet to air, details do remain scarce relating to the plot for this film. what we do know however is this film will feature the live action debuts of yellow lanterns such as Arkillo. It has been confirmed that Kevin Grevioux, Serinda Swan, Lorenzza Izzo and Michael Trevino have signed on to appear.

New Killer Star - Black Canary solo film
For the first time the character known as Laurel Lance aka Black Canary will receive her first live film. Having appeared in the Green Arrow film, we know that this film will very much act as a solo introduction for the character of Black Canary and what lead to her capture. Along with Laurel Lance, we know that this film will also act as the introduction of Dina Drake to the DC Extended Universe. In what will be a Cobra Kai reunion we know that William Zabka, Martin Kove and Sean Kanan have signed on to join the cast.

A New Guy in Town - Guy Gardener solo film
With Guy Gardner set to make his live action debut in the Green Lantern sequel. We know a solo film has also been commissioned for the character of Guy Gardner and will serve as his formal origin story. As we know this film will serve as the introduction of the characters fire and ice. With Cam Gigandet of course portraying the titular character this film will serve as a Twilight reunion with Peter Facinelli, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Jackson Rathbone and Rachelle Lefevre joining the cast in supporting roles.

Girl in the World - Supergirl sequel
With Saorise Ronan's Supergirl making her recent debut as part of the second Superman film. We already know that a solo film has been commissioned for the titular character. We can now confirm however a sequel film has already been green light and will be entitled Girl in the World. While details do remain minimal relating to this film it is expected that DC villain Toyman will appear. It has also been revealed that John Goodman, Charlie Hunnam and Mena Suvari have joined the cast.

Endless Flight - The Hawks II
While the first film may have received slightly mixed reviews. We know that Hawkman and Hawkwoman will return for a sequel film entitled endless flight. It is confirmed that Benicio Del Toro will be returning for this film also as the immortal villain Vandal Savage. On top of this we know villain the Monocle will be appearing. It has been confirmed today that both John Noble and Woody Harrelson have signed on for this project.

Assassin of the Sea - Aquaman III
A third film in the Aquaman has also been commissioned. This film as we know will feature the arrival of iconic Aquaman villain Black Manta. It is said that this film will very much serve as an origin story of sorts for the man who becomes Arthur's greatest enemy. With the second film of Aquaman not yet released, details apart from this relating to the plot are scarce. We do know however that Demetrius Grosse, Chaske Spencer, Demore Barnes and Michael Pitt have joined the cast.

Cry for Justice - Justice League 3
Ending this chapter of the DC Extended Universe will be it's third Justice League Crossover event. Having already faced dangerous threats such as the Queen of Fables, Despero and Starro. We know that following the events of Justice League II, the league won't find themselves against an intergalactic threat or alien. Instead they will a face a man on a quest for revenge as Prometheus makes his DCEU live action debut. While details remain scarce we know a Prometheus casting announcement is very much in the pipeline.

STEEL CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT

In some exciting news today a new hero set to arrive in chapter four of the DC Extended Universe has been confirmed. As we now have a casting for the upcoming Steel movie. This movie will of course focus on the titular character of John Henry Irons AKA Steel. While perhaps not one of the bigger names in the DC Universe, this will be far from Steel's first live action appearance or film for that matter. As we know the character was previously brought to life in the much maligned 1997 film with Shaquille O'Neal as the titular character while later the character found new life in the Superman and Lois series played by Wole Parks. It has been noted in relation to this character, with this film sticking true to the character's comic origins a full recast has always been the plan with this character.

Said to be a story of a man who gradually came to the horrifying realization of what his legacy would in fact become. A weapons designer and manufacturer, Steel's story is said to be one which will see him battle with his conscience and the decisions of his past. It was said for this role, while there wasn't perhaps an out pouring of auditions everyone who did elect to audition for the role was said to have been in heavy consideration making this one of the most competitive roles yet. Some names we do know to have auditioned for the role include Mike Colter, Henry Simmons, Kofi Siriboe, William Jackson Harper and Trevante Rhodes. It is said that these actors while unsuccessful at this time, are people that the DCEU is eager to work with in the future.

We can now confirm that actor Omari Hardwick will be the actor tasked with bringing John Henry Irons aka Steel to life. It is said part of the reason for Hardwick's casting was down to his portrayal as Ghost in Power. This is thanks in part to the character's cold, ruthless behavior which will be on display in the character's earlier appearances. It is said that Over the course of the film we will see John Henry Irons and his personality change as he no longer wished his legacy to be defined by a body count.

DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE PRESENTS
wonderwomanvol1.png

WONDER WOMAN II: VILLAINY INCORPORATED
Looking to continue on chapter two's success when it came to sequel films. The next film in the DC Extended Universe would be a sequel to Wonder Woman. Unlike many of the sequels which have featured some time jumps be it a few months or weeks following the conclusion of it's first entry. In the case of this Wonder Woman however we'd receive a direct continuation from the first film as we showed Diana Prince (Jaime Alexander) returning home to Paradise Island. Bringing with her the statue of the captured and defeated Ares (Daniel Craig) for it to be stored by her people. On her return Diana would be given a heroes welcome by her people even those who doubted her the most. After an emotional reunion with her mother Hippolyta (Kate Winslet) and general Philippus (Naomi Campbell). With Hippolyta wishing to celebrate her daughter's return and triumph, we'd also see Diana reunite with Antiope (Laurie Holden) who was truly impressed with what her niece had achieved.

On top of this Diana would also reunite with her close friend Mala (Tracy Spiridakos) and also Artemis (Elodie Yung). Having achieved her mission and won over many of her critics or rivals, it seemed the only person to still have some ill feeling towards Diana was Orana (Rose Leslie). This would be shown by a noted coldness to Diana and even to her fellow Amazons. On her return Diana well tell her people all about her time in the world of man. This included the story of how she bested Ares and her meeting with Nubia not too mention how she met Steve Trevor. During these stories Philippus and Antiope would notice how much Diana wished to return to the world of man. But this would be ruled out by Hippolyta who wished for her daughter to resume her life with her people. A time jump of one year exactly would then pass and we'd see Diana still longing to return home but despite this she'd put her best foot forward with her mother's wishes. This included personally mentoring a young amazonian by the name of Donna Troy (Ella Balinska).

Similar to Diana when she was growing up, Donna was not the most naturally skilled or talented warriors. But she had a strong will and sought to prove herself even at a young age. As we'd see in a similar fashion to Diana not only would Donna have to deal with being bested on several occasions by Artemis but she'd at least find some respect from that side. As when it came to Orana, Donna like Diana would be treated a lot harsher. This of course wouldn't be the first time Diana had acted in some ways as a mentor and we'd then come to the world and see Nubia (Nicole Beharie). Still very much looking to finish the mission and gain some revenge on those who had manipulated her and hidden the truth from her, as we'd learn Nubia had travelled all across the world under the guise of Candace Osei. We'd see Nubia finally finish her mission as she found Phobos (Oliver Stark). The last remaining son of Ares was very much shown to be a cowardly figure who was once working for Maxwell Lord (Channing Tatum).

Despite Phobos and his pleas to save himself and trying to show his own usefulness, Nubia would not hear him out or listen and instead cut him down where he stood. Having completed her mission Nubia finally wished to see Paradise Island for herself and after chatting with Steve Trevor (Josh Duhamel), she'd agree to pass on a message that he missed her. On top of this Nubia warned Trevor that Phobos appeared to have made some connections in his time on earth. Having followed Diana's instructions on how to contact the amazons, Nubia for the very first time would journey to paradise island. On arrival having slain the last child of Ares, Nubia would also be met with a heroes welcome and quickly reunite with Diana. With these two being close friends Diana would introduce Nubia to Hippolyta, Antiope and Philippus. Of this trio Nubia would form a quick bond with Antiope as the pair recognized one another as fellow warriors. She would also form a close bond with Artemis in this time for similar reasons.

However Nubia's presence didn't sit well with everyone as Orana continued to grow more angry and disillusioned with the changes in the Amazon culture and way. This festering rage as we'd learn would spread to a fellow Amazon warrior known as Clea (Rebecca Mader). Clea as we'd learn was once apart of a rival family which had contested Hippolyta's rule and because of this she herself had always seen or harbored resentment to Diana for living what in her opinion should have been her life. After numerous talks and discussion, this pair would elect to flee and head to the Man world themselves. Recognizing this act of abandonment as treason and also potentially dangerous to their land. Diana would elect to go after them this time with the approval of Hippolyta. But she would not be going alone as she'd be joined by Artemis, Nubia and Donna Troy. This would be Diana's first trip to the man world in over a year and quickly we'd see just how much things had changed. With Nubia now showing her around, Nubia would bring them to England where she would furth bring Diana to speed about how things have changed.

This includes a special government unit from America which was put together and funded by Maxwell Lord. This team would be known as Argus and would be headed by General Phil Darnell (Colin Firth). Joining him as his second in command would be Steve Trevor and per Max Lord's request we'd learn that Nubia would be joined in the field by Vanessa Kapatellis (Astrid-Berges Frisby) and Etta Candy (Orla Brady). Unfortunately in recent times Lord has been forced to pull away from Argus due to a politician named Brad Covington (Jim Beaver). We'd learn that Covington and Darnell personally had some history with one another and would frequently come into conflict as Covington looked to stone wall Argus. This also meant the plan to keep Lord close and monitor exactly what the businessman was doing was brought to a halt. Since last time as we'd learn Lord in secret had been working with Paula Von Gunther (Sophia Marceau) and Doctor Poison (Rachel Weisz). It would be through these connections that Lord had become aware of a faction known as Villainy Incorporated.

With Diana's return it would be through the government and Argus that she would have her first meeting with Veronica Cale (Emily Blunt). Cale as we'd learn similar to Maxwell Lord was a business magnate who specialized in technology. Her company Empire Enterprises would be a great source of weaponry and equipment for the government and argus. Shown in some ways to be reminiscent personality wise of Miranda Priestly in that she is a cold, critical and sophisticated woman. Cale in some ways was a total opposite to Lord in that she was always upfront and brutal honest to a point. This was shown in while she respected what Diana had done and her efforts before in the wars, she felt her world view was naive and her message of love and peace to be ineffective. This would lead to a civil yet at times tense relationship between the pair. With Diana and her allies looking to trace Orana and Clea, it seemed this was building to a collision with Villainy Inc as with two rogue amazons loose in the world, they quickly would become affiliated as such.

The collective known as Villainy Inc was a shadowy faction which sought world domination and extinction of it's threats. This included Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman. As we'd learn in their recruitment of Orana and Clea, it said that Villainy Inc was looking to learn all they could about Paradise Island and the Amazons. What led the rogue amazons to this group as we'd learn is Orana seeking out Maxwell Lord who she'd remembered from Diana's stories. While Orana and Clea began to learn their place in the world, we'd see Diana still trying to settle into this new world herself. During her next visit to Argus she'd meet a close friend of Steve Trevor by the name of Dale Gunn (Mekhi Phifer). A long time soldier and ally of Trevor, Dale had long heard the stories and legends of Diana and was thrilled to meet her in person. The same could not be said for Isabelle Modini (Hannah Alicia-Kim). A recent recruit into Argus who very much faced the same struggles which Etta Candy had faced as a woman in a man's world. She was also far from impressed with Diana who in her opinion never had to work for anything in her life.

While Diana tried to fit into Argus, we'd see both Artemis and Donna Troy face their own challenges in adapting to the world of man. While Artemis was unimpressed with what was in her words a brutal and putrid land, Donna was captivated with the world she had witnessed and would go out to explore it on her own when she could. In doing so she'd make her very first friend a young woman named Cathy Perkins (Annalisa Cochrane) who like her was someone new to town. These two would very much bond as fishes out of water while we'd see Artemis in a similar fashion to Nubia begin to impress Argus higher ups thanks to her soldier like mindset. In a stark contrast to Wonder Woman, Artemis would earn the respect of Modini swiftly and continued to form a close friendship with Nubia. It would be during this time that Diana first met Brad Covington, also aware of the stories and legend Covington thanked Diana for her service but warned her that Argus is not the place for her to be as he will be stopping this operation very soon.
From here we'd slowly see Villainy Inc in it's glory as Max Lord, Paula Von Gunther and Doctor Poison would stand before them with Orana and Clea. It would be here we'd begin to meet their members and those in their ranks and realize this was an assembly of female supervillains. This would begin with scientist Adrianna Anderson (Zooey Deschanel). A former scientist and researcher who worked closely with Veronica Cale, Anderson was in fact a rare person who would be identified as a friend by Cale. Sadly as we'd learn her physical body died when experiencing testing on her cybernetic cyberwalker system crashed. While her physical body may have died, her mind remained alive in the cyber walker system and with the help from those in Villainy Inc she was able to construct a new cybernetic body turning her into Doctor Cyber. As we'd learn Cyber led and ran a a human trafficking operation. While some of those who were collected would be apart of her research, others would be used as follows of Zara (Adria Arjona).

A manipulative priestess, Zara was skilled with pyro abilities which made her followers believe she was a higher power and do her bidding. This is why they wouldn't question being drafted in for Cybers' experiments and testing. Aiding this duo would be the twisted Saturna (Ruby Rose) who acted not only as a enforcer for the pair but also a torturer. While we'd see these numbers of course grow, Maxwell Lord would return to the public eye with a cover story of some threats being made against him leading to go into hiding. Lord would look to put himself back into Argus on realizing that Diana was back with her fellow Amazons and we could see that Diana still to this day did not trust Lord. Unfortunately any attempt to investigate Lord again would be affected by Covington's involvement in shutting down Argus. During one of Zara's rallies it seemed some of her followers looked to recruit Cathy Perkins. Their attempt to kidnap her however would backfire as Donna Troy was on the scene to fight and defend her friend.

As we'd see however Troy despite her best efforts would soon be overwhelmed thanks to Saturna and her weapon abilities not too mention the surprising involvement of Clea who by this point had been fully converted to the villainy inc way of life. Orana meanwhile however recognizing Donna Troy being brought in would begin to suffer a bout of conscience and this would lead to a surprising change of heart as she reached out to Argus and met with Artemis. Tipping her off to this operation, Artemis in turn brought this back to Argus only for Brad Covington who was increasingly looking to establish his power over the operation. Max Lord meanwhile would attempt to bring some normality to Argus and deflect some questions about himself Max Lord would host a gala in which we was introduced to his girlfriend and socialite Priscila Rich (Emmy Raver Lampmann). During this Gala Diana, Nubia and Artemis looked to make a plan realizing that Argus' hands were tied. Offering to help them would be Etta and Vanessa both of whom wanted to shut down this trafficking operation. Willing to break the rules for them as well would be Dale Gunn but as Trevor and Darnell advized now is not the time for all of them to step out of line.

Arriving at this illicit base of operation Diana, Artemis, Nubia, Etta and Vanessa would soon find themselves up against the full force of Zara's followers and Cyber's experiments. While battling these cyber enhanced people and also the cultists, Diana would look to breach the compound with the aid of Artemis and Nubia. Once inside Artemis would find herself confronted by Saturna who was armed with a spiked whip. As we'd soon find there was something not quite human about Saturna thanks to her strength and resilience and it would in fact take a combination of Nubia and Artemis to not only take down but kill Saturna. During this conflict Orana looked to help Donna and Cathy escape only to be confronted by Clea. This led to the two former friends and allies fighting with a heart broken Orana being forced to break Clea's neck. On freeing Cathy, Donna and several other captives Orana would help guide them to Etta Candy while Vanessa also entered the field and began to chase after a fleeing doctor cyber. Diana meanwhile battled against Zara and during the fight Diana would be able to cut down the priestess of the flame. Unfortunately what wasn't counted on was Cyber having the protection of Hypnota (Julianne Hough).

A former stage magician who has the ability to enter the minds of others. Hypnota would enter Vanessa's mind and give her flashes of the White Swan. This would overwhelm Vanessa and allow Cyber and Hypnota a chance to escape. Helping Vanessa get her grip with reality would be Donna Troy while we'd see Orana meet with Diana and the others. Apologizing for allowing her rage to fuel her, Orana sought death for her crimes but Diana instead spared her and told her to return home to make amends. Artemis would elect to take her back while Donna wished to stay with Diana and further find out what was going on. In retaliation to his orders being ignored Brad Covington looked to turn Argus against Diana and demanded she be arrested for illicit operations. While Darnell was able to save Nubia/Etta and Kapatellis with them being employees, Diana wasn't a member of Argus officially. Steve and Dale would also want to fight this and in turn they bring Diana to Russell Abernathy (Nick Searcy).

Reaching out to Abernathy would give Diana a place to hide out. As we'd also learn Abernathy actually left the government not long after Lord started working there. Believing Lord to be a rot which had set into the government Abernathy very much showed Diana a more cynical view on life. He was also one of the rare people to know of Villainy Inc and had done his research into their designs. It would be through Abernathy that we learned some codenames of other members of Villainy Inc which included Giganta, Blue Snowman and Cheetah. While Abernathy gave this talk to Diana we'd see Max Lord meet with Brad Covington, here it was revealed that Covington was a puppet for Max Lord and finally had began to grow scared and concerned for what he was involved in. Wanting to stop interfering with Argus, Covington found himself met by Priscila Rich who revealed herself to be the costumed villain Cheetah. Cheetah would then slit Covington's throat killing him before he could expose their plans.

This as we'd learn would begin a planned attack on Argus by Villainy Inc and here we would be introduced to both Blue Snowman and Giganta for the first time. In Blue Snowmman we had a brilliant inventor known as Bryana Brilyant (Olivia Thrillby). The daughter of a reputable scientist, Bryana had often been overlooked or disregarded for being a woman. Shown to be angered at constantly being overlooked she turned to crime and villainy inc who recognized her talents. Meanwhile Giganta would be a sadder case as Doris Zuel (Bryce Dallas Howard) was once a hard working doctor and scientist who even had worked for Argus at points. But following a terminal diagnosis she sought to save herself but instead mutated herself into the giant woman known as Giganta. This attack very much would be multi pronged with Snowman and Giganta going on an all out onslaught while Hypnota would influence the minds of agents turning them against one another.

Rich meanwhile would out herself as cheetah when inside the building. In the process she'd even wound Max Lord to keep up pretenses of his innocence. Doctor Cyber meanwhile looked to gain entry to Argus systems while Paula Von Gunther stood watch and lastly Doctor Poison would provide weaponry to help further defeat Argus agents. While General Darnell looked to lead many of his people to safety we'd see Hypnota influence Dale Gunn leading to him attacking Steve Trevor in a short fight until Steve managed to knock him out. Hypnota would then confront Vanessa again who this time had strengthened her mind thanks to the Amazons and in turn white Swan would finally be able to kill Hypnota and break her spell on everyone. Shown to be one of the more vicious assailants Blue Snowman was purely fueled by anger and Nubia attempted to each her to no avail. Realizing that there was no reasoning with Snowman Nubia would be forced to cut her down. While Wonder Woman fought against Cheetah, we'd see Donna Troy and Steve Trevor band together to combat Giganta.

Steve aware of Doris from her previous work tried to reason with her and it appeared for a moment that this may work as Giganta began to question what she had become. Unfortunately Giganta would then remember her fate if she stopped and resume her attack when Donna Troy was able to wrap her arms around Giganta's neck. Looking to grow in order to escape Giganta was halted when Nubia used Blue Snowman's weaponry on her to keep her on ice while Trevor promised to look for a cure. Diana meanwhile continued to fight Cheetah and managed to disarm and knock out Priscila Rich to end the fight. Realizing her time was running out Doctor Cyber looked to flee only to turn to see Paula Von Gunther pointing a gun at her. Revealing this to be a ruse, Paula opened fire and shot Doctor Cyber in the head killing her instantly. On seeing her team failing Doctor Poison would attempt to flee only to be captured and beaten in a short fight by Etta Candy.

In the fall out from this attack Maxwell Lord tried to spin things as a secret mission of his to take down Villainy Inc. Revealing that thanks to her efforts Paula Von Gunther had been given amnesty and would soon be working with Argus. Lord's words didn't sit well with Steve Trevor or Phil Darnell as Steve introduced Tim Trench (Jere Burns) to Maxwell Lord. A slimy individual and private investigator, Trench had been following Lord in secret for sometime and had proof he had been working with Phobos among others. Looking to spin this knowing his connections, Lord called himself a necessary evil which for now Darnell and Trevor would have to agree. However they also had the ability to expose him once and for all and in turn, that meant he would be forced to play more by their rules as opposed to them playing by his. We'd then see in a farewell Nubia return to Paradise Island with Vanessa coming along with her having approved her as a suitable amazon trainee.

Having communicated with her mother, Diana had for now been allowed to stay in the world of Man and spend some more time with Steve. In this time she would also be officially sworn into Argus as would Donna Troy who would continue to stay also in order to further both her training and experience more of the earth. Of course for Diana she would have to live with the fact that one of her greatest foes Paula Von Gunther would at least for now be considered an ally at Argus. Meanwhile following his chat with Argus, Max Lord would receive a phone call from the head of villainy inc themselves. During the call this would be revealed as Veronica Cale and she made it crystal clear that not only would she becoming for Max Lord and everything he has. But that she will also kill that naive Amazon also as the Wonder Woman sequel came to an end! In a post credit scene set in present time we would see Rick Flag in a private facility finding the frozen body of Giganta and ordering it to be transported to a new location for his boss.

THE FLASH: ROGUES GALLERY CHARACTERS CONFIRMED

The Flash will also return as part of chapter two of the DC Extended Universe. Believed to be a follow up film with a time jump of 6 months, the world will witness just what a difference the Scarlet Speedster has made to Central City. Although while he has a lot of support and fandom, he does also have some detractors and that includes the criminals he put away. It's said that the main plot of this film will feature a variety of criminals who have either been captured or had their lives made trickier by the actions of the Flash all come together in the hopes of stopping him once and for all. While this film is entitled The Flash 2 it is said that the primary focus of this Rogues Gallery film will be the Rogues themselves and how they was brought together not too mention the dynamics they share with one another.

giphy-downsized-large.gif

Logan Marshall Green as Mick Rory/Heatwave
A long time ally of Captain Cold, it is said that Mick Rory and Leonard Snart share a far from harmonious relationship. This is down to Rory's often rash and reckless way of operating. Not even by his own teammates who feel he has his own agenda.

VBqTvAi.jpg

Peter Serafenawicz as Mark Mardon/Weather Wizard
A career criminal and drug dealer who recently saw his criminal syndicate fall. Holding the Flash partly responsible for this, Mark Mardon is currently believed to be serving time in Iron Heights for killing his own brother and his sister in law. A close ally of Abra Kadabra based on both men's penchant for the theatrical. James Jesse was once a talented circus performer who departed from the circus to pursue a life of crime. Riley Keough as Lisa Snart/Golden Glider
A former professional figure skater and the younger sister of Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold. Lisa Snart is said to be a reluctant member of the Rogues. It's said Lisa's been presented with two weapons one being a pair of skates allowing her to skate anywhere even in the air and the other is a jewel gun which transmutes anything into jewels.

Krx4PZ.gif

Toper Grace as Drury Walker/Killer Moth
A wannabe supervillain who commands little to no respect and is seen by many as a punchline. milan-power.gif

Callan Mulvey as Tony Woodward/Girder
A low level thug and mob enforcer. Tony Woodward is a man who has little trouble committing acts of violence for a pay cheque. With a notorious mean streak and someone who has always boasted of his knockout power. tumblr_mucvuyxfMG1rkvl19o1_400.gif

Owain Yeoman as Roy Bivolo/Rainbow Raider
Once a budding artist who despite suffering from colorblindness wished to share his vision with the world. It's said that Roy Bivilo's impairment limited his success and the embittered Bivolo turned to crime. Becoming an art thief as he looked to rob the world of it's art. Bivolo like many was stopped by the flash but on his release from Iron Heights, he has been presented with some goggles which not only improve his vision but allow hard light projection.

james-valdez-queen-of-the-south-peter-gadiot.gif

Peter Gadiot as Manuel Lago
A former police detective at Central City who found himself recruited to be apart of Argus. Manuel Lago is described as a loyal officer who never forgot about the people who stuck by him and supported him in his rise. This includes Barry Allen and Captain Frye, both of whom Manuel considers close friends. The reason for Manuel's return is that he's been tasked to identify the rise in meta humans and advanced technology through his home.

The Flash Rogues Gallery Cast rounded out

The next step in Chapter II's DC Extended Universe will be our sequel to the Flash solo film Born to Run. As we know in comparison to the first film which featured a sole antagonist in Eobard Thawne (Matthew McConaughey). This film will feature a collection of villains or shall we say Rogues who have been assembled and brought together with designs to bring a stop to the Scarlet Speedster once and for all. With a majority of the cast already announced including the big announcement that Adam Driver will be portraying the villainous Captain Cold. We can now reveal the final few characters and cast members for this film.

tumblr_inline_mxb8ezKm2C1rghlkc.gif

James Ransome as Samuel Scudder/Mirror Master
A career criminal who has seen his efforts as of late, constantly halted by the Flash. Scudder would soon find some hidden metahuman abilities of his own which gave him mirror based abilities. A violent criminal who has no issue with murder, it is said that Scudder has frequently came into conflict with Leonard Snart in the past.
tumblr_inline_p602ffWMo91qgvr3g_500.gif

Sam Worthington as George Harkness/Captain Boomerang
A former serviceman turned career criminal. George 'Digger' Harkness is very much described as a criminal and gun for hire. Shown to be disruptive and thanks to his use of narcotics unreliable, Harkness is far from a popular member of the Rogues. However he is one of the most dangerous thanks to his marksmanship and incredible aim.
Game%20of%20Shadows%20Moriarty%20gif-thumb-700x298-213245.gif

Jared Harris as Noah Cutter/Calculator
A highly intelligent career criminal and information broker. Noah Cutter is not atypically described as someone who gets his hands dirty in the field. Yet he is a very dangerous opponent thanks to his intelligence and hacking ability. Even if his loyalties will be in question as he's always in search of a higher bidder.
laughing-andrew-garfield.gif

Andrew Garfield as Hartley Rathaway/Pied Piper
Having been born death before receiving cochlear implants. Life was tough for Hartley Rathaway with his wealthy family often looking at him as a defect or imperfection. Shown as well to be a former student of Emil Hamilton, Hartley has long been obsessed with sound and has recently developed some sonic technology to make him the Pied Piper.
200w.gif

Malin Ackerman as Rose Dillon/Top
The long time girlfriend and partner of Samuel Scudder. Rose Dillon while perhaps lacking the showmanship and confidence of Scudder, is shown to be just as ruthless and violent while also possibly more intelligent. Similar to Scudder, Rose as we'd learn is harboring some metahuman abilities of her own which can not only cause vertigo in people but also allow her to lift and smash certain objects.

Firestorm coming to DC!

Continuing on the announcements of future films as part of the DC Extended Universe. We know that another character set to be introduced in Chapter Four will be the titular character of Firestorm. Unlike many heroes we have seen so far, Firestorm is not a solitary man with gifts. But instead thanks to an accident Firestorm is an amalgamation of two people together as University student Ronnie Raymond and Professor Martin Stein are able to fuse into the hero known as Firestorm. It is said because of the accident and the way it all came together that Ronnie Raymond is primarily in control and in the drivers seat. While Martin Stein is able to act as voice of reason and mentor to Ronnie.

Despite this being the first Firestorm solo film, this will not be the first time appearance of Firestorm in live action with the character appearing as part of the Arrowverse. Ronnie Raymond in the series would be played by actor Robbie Amell. It is said that there was no discussion of Amell returning to the role with producers looking to very much start a new for this character. A few names we do know to have at least taken discussion for the role include George Rexstrew, Amadeus Serafini and Fred Hechinger. In the end however it was decided that to bring the wise cracking Ronnie Raymond to life would be Riverdale actor KJ Apa. Apa was very much described as the top choice for this role in question.

68747470733a2f2f73332e616d617a6f6e6177732e636f6d2f776174747061642d6d656469612d736572766963652f53746f7279496d6167652f586c4d4e51474a36696d543742413d3d2d3534363433353935342e313531616663633766343334663535623430383433363239323131332e676966

While the Casting for Ronnie Raymond was said to be quite an easy process, the casting for Martin Stein was a lot tougher. With many questioning if it would be worth keeping Victor Garber in the titular role following his impressive performance as part of the Arrowverse. After much deliberation, a new casting would be the decision made. A few names we do know to have undergone talks for this role would include Jeremy Irons, Bill Nighy and JK Simmons. It was said one audition stood out most and following a successful screen test with KJ Apa, we can now confirm that John C. McGinley will be bringing the character of Martin Stein to life.

Following the events of Wonder Women Villainy Incorporated. We know now that a miniseries has been green lighted focusing on the creation of the Government organization known as Argus. Formed in part by Maxwell Lord (Channing Tatum), this group is an offshoot of Homeland security designed to tackle Superhuman threats. We can confirm that along with Channing Tatum as Max Lord that Josh Duhamel, Colin Firth, Natalie Beharie, Orla Bradly, Sophia Marceau, Astrid Berges Frisby, Jennifer Garner, Mekhi Phifer, Jere Burns and Alicia Hannah Kim as Steve Trevor, Phil Darnell, Nubia, Etta Candy, Paula Von Gunther, Vanessa Kapatellis, Jane Kapatellis, Dale Gunn, Tim Trench and Isabelle Modini respectively. WHO IS DONNA TROY - Donna Troy Solo Film
Following her debut in the Wonder Woman story. We now know that a solo film has been commissioned for the character of Donna Troy (Ella Balinska). This film will focus both on Donna's training on Paradise Island as well as her time spent on Earth. It is believed that Jaime Alexander will be reprising her role as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman for this film. We also know that both Elodie Yung and Rose Leslie will be returning as Artemis and Orana respectively. It is believed this film will focus on Donna coming up against members of Hippolyta's former guard led by Alkyone and a terrorist known as Nikos Aegeus who is outfitted with weaponry of the gods following a deal with this Rogue Amazon sect.

DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE
PRESENTS
img_20230713_143248.jpg
THE FLASH II: ROGUES GALLERY
As the DC Extended Universe continues to progress in it's second chapter with a wave of highly received sequels as thus far the Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman sequels have been met with mostly positive reviews. Looking to continue on this momentum was the Flash sequel with it's first film Born to Run being one of the more highly received movies of the first chapter. Similar to what we saw with the Wonder Woman sequel, this film would begin with a direct continuation from the first film but in a stark contrast from the first film. This film wouldn't focus as much on the origin of Barry Allen/The Flash (Dylan O'Brien) but instead would act as more of an origin story of the criminal faction known as the Rogues. As we'd later see the origin of the Rogues would begin following a conversation between former Iron Heights prison turned Central City mayor Gregory Wolfe (Eamonn Walker) and his legal counsel Clifford Devoe (Jamie Campbell Bower). As we'd see in the conversation between the pair Wolfe held a lot of prejudice towards not just the Flash but Metahumans as a whole and he did not want a Metahuman as the cities' protector nor did he want them living in Central City.

During this particular conversation and several other after, we'd see Clifford Devoe carefully gaslighting Wolfe. Using Wolfe's prejudice and disgust as a means to manipulate and influence Wolfe's decision making. This as we'd learn was by design of Devoe as we'd delve into the backstory of this shady lawyer. Shown to have always been someone who was unafraid to take short cuts, Clifford Devoe wasn't however that skilled of an attorney. While shown to be highly studious with a thirst for knowledge, he wasn't naturally gifted in his field and at times lacked the charisma and confidence needed in his speeches. This would cause much frustration in Devoe's life and we'd see him constantly seeking to improve himself in anyway possible. This included expanding his own intelligence and this would lead to him conducting many experiments to try and make this possible. Similarly to Barry Allen, his life would be forever altered during that freak series of lightning. As while Barry Allen was working with chemicals and granted Super Speed, Devoe was conducting an experiment known as a thinking cap when he was struck and thanks to this Devoe would become a Metahuman with enhanced intelligence and some small psychic gifts.

This very much altered everything for Devoe who found himself gaining that confidence that he'd not had before. Thanks to his increasing knowledge and ability to influence others, Clifford Devoe would swiftly go from a loser in the legal world to an outright winner. Yet in time with a mind as great as his, Devoe got tired of merely dominating cases and getting criminals reduced sentences. Needing a challenge to further prove his intellect, Devoe instead turned to crime himself with this conspiracy as he wished to test himself as the fastest mind alive against that of the fastest Man alive. Seeing this in some ways as a game with many moving parts. Devoe in private notes and recordings to himself likened this to a game of chess and would remark that he would need many pawns in order to truly achieve checkmate. We would then be given a montage or should we say Flashes of Barry Allen in action. In these scenes we would see more of Barry continuing to progress as The Flash, the first of these scenes would include The Flash stopping a vicious assault by noted thug Tony Woodward (Callan Mulvey).

Another scene would show The Flash stopping and confronting bumbling career criminal Drury Walker (Topher Grace) before he is arrested by Frank Curtis (Michael Rapaport). Another event which saw the Flash unite with the Central City Police Department would be when the Flash helped intercept a bank robbery and hostage situation organized by a prolific criminal Sam Scudder (James Ransome) who was joined by his girlfriend Rose Dillon (Malin Ackerman) and Roy Bivolo (Owain Yeoman). This would allow Captain Daryl Frye (Rufus Sewell) and his officers to arrest these dangerous criminals. Further building a strong relationship with the CCPD much to the anger and annoyance of Gregory Wolfe, the Flash would also help David Singh (Jay Ali) in capturing a wanted killer Mark Mardon (Peter Serafenawicz) and also twisted serial killer James Jesse (Billy Magnussen) when both had managed to escape from prison. Continuing this trend The Flash would also intercept an arms deal orchestrated by criminal George Harkness (Sam Worthington). With these acts of heroism all being reported by Iris West (Shailene Woodley), it would seem public opinion of the Flash and his attempts to stop crime in Central City were at a high.

This would be furthered when The Flash in a personal mission stopped Hartley Rathaway (Andrew Garfield) from breaking into Star Labs after the former lab tech had been harassing Tina McGee (Madeline Mantock). The last flash back would be perhaps the most impressive as again working in perfect cohesion with the CCPD, Barry Allen managed to bring a stop to a jewelry robbery orchestrated by Leonard Snart (Adam Driver) and his team which included his own sister Lisa Snart (Riley Keough) and Mick Rory (Logan Marshall Green). At the same time while the Flash's efforts couldn't be ignored, extra praise had to go to Barry himself and the CCPD department. Following the previous film which really expanded on a lack of cohesion or trust between the officers and the crime lab itself. In this film we'd see thanks in part to Captain Frye and also James Forrest (Morgan Freeman), that these walls would steadily be broken down. In fact officers Frank Curtis and David Singh in particular seemed not only more willing to work with the lab but also engage with the team for their opinions and input.

At the same time as we'd see Kristin Kramer (Kacey Rohl) continue to excel as a supervisory role at the lab. While far perhaps from being a people person, Kristin Kramer was a highly skilled and intelligent worker who in many ways was seen by James Forrest as his successor when he finally retired. On top of Kramer would of course be Barry's colleague and best friend Patty Spivot (Elizabeth Lail). Shown to be a highly intelligent young woman and very gifted in her field, Spivot as we'd learn in several scenes actually had some designs on being a police officer herself at one stage. This is something she'd talk about in private with Barry and also three new officers who have joined the CCPD. One being a young rookie detective by the name of Julio Mendez (Lorenzo James Henrie) and the other detectives we'd be introduced to would be Angela Margolin (Sydney Lemmon) and veteran detective Charles Conwell (Peter Jacobson). With these additions to the CCPD, we'd continue to see the department further itself along from it's darker days in the previous film.

Along with the changes professionally we'd also see a lot of changes in Barry's personal life. While of course he had sadly now lost both parents with his father dying in prison. Shown with his gifts and new purpose to have improved his work life and time keeping to become a respected member of the team. Barry personally would be helped through this tough time by his girlfriend Iris both of whom helped one another with their grieving having each lost their fathers in the last film due to violence. Along with this healthy relationship, Barry also had a close friendship with criminal profiler Hunter Zolomon (Sam Rockwell). At one stage a high ranking agent, Zolomon of course was left maimed and paralyzed because of Eobard Thawne in the last film. While Hunter's life since this had taken a downward turn thanks to being confined to a wheel chair with some doubting he'll ever walk again. Despite this despair Ashley Zolomon (Betty Gabriel) would stand by and support her husband as much as she could. Barry would also frequently engage with Hunter about his cases and by doing this it appeared that Hunter would snap out of the fog and dark clouds over him.

During these conversations about Barry's cases Hunter Zolomon's profiling and knowledge would be on further display as he'd act in some ways like a mentor to Barry. On top of this Hunter would candidly tell Barry about his confrontation and experience with Eobard Thawne and how to this day he finds himself haunted by visions of Eobard sparing him but only when he learned his name. Enquiring as to why he did that, Hunter said some things he guesses will always be unanswered. Curiously though Zolomon also warned Barry to be careful of Mayor Wolfe, as he said in his time working for other agencies he was well aware that Wolfe wasn't someone who could particularly be trusted. Of course as we'd learn it wasn't Wolfe that Allen so much had to be concerned with it was in fact Clifford Devoe. Clearly having a plan in mind Devoe reached out to a criminal known as Noah Cutter/Calculator (Jared Harris). Described as a hacker, cyber criminal and information broker it was Noah Cutter who was able to provide Devoe plenty of information relating to the criminals captured by The Flash and also some government projects.

It would be through Calculator that Devoe would also be put in touch with Abra Kadabra (Shane West). A skilled metahuman with wizard like abilities who often used his powers as a means to commit petty theft at his magic shows. Abra Kadabra seemed during his conversation with Devoe to have some knowledge of the Flash and was willing to help Devoe even if it meant breaking his usual play by getting his hands a lot more dirty. So would begin a series of breakouts from transit vans and Iron Heights in which Abra Kadabra was able to collect several villains for Devoe. Devoe meanwhile in this time would use his connections to get Tony Woodward released from jail and in turn the noted leg breaker would follow Devoe loyally and carry out various crimes and heists for him without hesitation. Woodward of course as we'd learn was always a violent man and goon for hire making him the perfect soldier for the more physical aspect in comparison to the rest. Along with this specific recruitment, Devoe sought out and got Hartley Rathaway free. Very much a sad story and one of abandonment Hartley as we learned was born to a wealthy family but because of being born deaf he was always seen as a weak link.

Shown to have a vested knowledge of technology thanks to actually working for Star Labs in the past as a former apprentice of Emil Hamilton. Rathaway had turned to crime in order to further develop his research of sound and technology. In exchange for providing Rathaway with resources, Devoe and this burgeoning team would have someone able to design them technology. With Rathaway and Woodward not too mention Cutter and Abra Kadabra onside already. Now would the next stage of his plan as in secret Devoe with help from Cutter and Abra Kadabra used a particular compound which Cutter had found the framework of in Argus files. This was designed to awaken Metahuman DNA in others for as we'd learn the reason in which Devoe had taken an interest in Woodward is down to Woodward actually doing some steel work the night of the lightning storm and like the other's he'd been in the vicinity of a lightning strike. Thanks to this injection we'd see Woodward's meta powers activate and him transform into a literal man made of Steel. With that an attack on the CCPD would begin with Woodward now renamed Girder walking through the front door as an attack and diversion while Abra Kadabra snuck in and managed to release Leonard Snart, Mick Rory, Lisa Snart, George Harkness, Drury Walker, Mark Mardon, James Jesse, Sam Scudder, Rose Dillon and Roy Bivolo.

With this collection of criminals or Rogues amassed the Flash couldn't stop Abra Kadabra from teleporting everyone away. Amassing this collective with the promise to take times back to before the Flash with crime running rampant. Clifford Devoe would steadily make the point of meeting with these villains one by one as he spoke of their purpose and future. The first of which would be Leonard Snart who Devoe credited as highly intelligent, resourceful and a survivor. Snart as we'd learn wasn't ruled by greed but instead the challenge and like Devoe he wanted to prove himself against the Fastest Man alive. This is why along with Rathaway they provided Leonard and his cold, stoic presence a weapon befitting him which would be a cold gun. In total contrast to this would be Leonard's partner Mick Rory. A hot tempered pyromaniac, Rory would at times frequently clash with Snart's more cerebral approach. However despite their constant and frequent issues, this pair would work together in cohesion. As with their personalities Rory was outfitted with a weapon in contrast to Snart which was a Heat Gun capable of producing fire at blistering temperatures.

The third in Snart's group would of course be his younger sister Lisa. Formerly a burgeoning pro figure skater who had no interest in a life of crime like her brother. Sadly with a career cut short by injuries Lisa in desperation would begin to work with her brother. Despite not truly having her heart in crime, Lisa would follow her brother's plans loyally and in order to put her in her best position. Devoe would provide her with a set of experimental skates which create their own ice allowing her to skate on any surface even the air and on top of this they would equip her with a gold gun. In the case of George Harkness who we would learn was a former Australian Serviceman, Harkness was a skilled marksman with a talent in particular for projectile weaponry. Which is why he was supplied with a series of boomerangs from his youth to christen him as Captain Boomerang. In the case of Mark Mardon who was a prolific violent offender and who had even murdered his own sibling. Remarking on his volatility and ever changing nature, Devoe would outfit him with a weather wand capable of altering the weather. With James Jesse who by this point was shown to be completely insane, Devoe would outfit him with weaponry based on his sense of humor as he donned the name the Trickster.

While these villains were outfitted with weaponry and costumes in the fashion of their comic counterparts. We'd see in the case of Sam Scudder, Rose Dillon and Roy Bivolo. These three dangerous criminals in a similar fashion to Tony Woodward had been out on the night of the lightning storm. This is something that Devoe had clearly been studying with the help of Abra Kadabra and The Calculator. In a similar fashion to Woodward it would be thanks to a mysterious experiment that these three would all have their metahuman abilities awaken. In the case of Roy Bivolo who's parents were both artists but he was sadly born color blind, he would be able to shoot solid beams of light from his eyes. With Rose Dillon, the loyal girlfriend of Sam Scudder she would be able to generate and manipulate centrifugal forces while in the case of the vain Sam Scudder. He would be granted with full control of mirrors and the world in the reflection. The one outcast of the group was Drury Walker who was regarded as a joke by many except Abra Kadabra. Having created his own costume, Moth would name himself the Killer Moth and would wield a gun known as the Cocoon Gun. Despite this though he was perceived as a joke and not a threat.

Despite the Rogues all being criminals and having common enemies and goals. They did not at all have common ground. This would very much be clear in the case of Snart and Scudder who while aware of one another, they didn't get along. There would also be a contrast in goals for while Leonard Snart just wanted to continue pulling off heists, Sam Scudder craved power and to kill the Flash. Slowly we would see some factions forming in the Rogues and we'd also see Mick Rory begin to be swayed by Scudder's way of thinking. Despite not agreeing on a solution or a goal, they could agree on Devoe's plan to start presenting Flash with issues he can't fix. Namely targeted crimes and acts all at the same time! This would begin with a jewel theft being planned by Leonard Snart now calling himself Captain Cold. He would be joined in this planning and process by Mick Rory/Heatwave, Lisa Snart/Golden Glider and Hartley Rathaway/Pied Piper. Unsurprisingly during this robbery which triggered the alarms thanks to the aggressive Rory, The Flash and CCPD would arrive on the scene. This would be when the Flash would come up against this weaponry of the Rogues for the first time.

Despite managing to narrowly avoid the blasts of Glider and saving officer Mendez from Rory. It would be the sonic weaponry of The Pied Piper which stunned Flash and a blast of the Cold Gun which nearly killed him. With Snart's team able to make their escape, we'd see at the same time a second attack and bank robbery was being orchestrated by Sam Scudder/Mirror Master, Roy Bivolo/Rainbow Raider, Rose Dillon/Top, Tony Woodward/Girder, Mark Mardon/Weather Wizard, Drury Walker/Killer Moth and James Jesse/Trickster. In stark contrast to Snart's surgical and precise approach, this was carnage with many casualties claimed both in the general public and the CCPD. Due to being weakened because of the cold gun Barry wouldn't be able to help the CCPD who suffered multiple casualties. The team at Star Labs would grow concerned with the rise of Metas in Central City and this weaponry with Iris West looking to investigate the night Barry got hit with lightning. As she does so she realizes there were multiple blasts and begins to look into who would have been hit.

With the CCPD suffering many casualties and chaos in the street, Gregory Wolfe would begin to use this as a means to blast the Flash as a beacon for these monsters. Yet in private, Wolfe himself would begin to express concern to Devoe regarding this matter as it was clear this has gone further than he had predicted or expected. Seeking extra help in what has gone on in the city Daryl Frye would reach out to Star Labs for their support and Professor Hamilton's advice. Together as a group, they begin profiling just who is in this faction and even recruit Hunter Zolomon to offer his opinions on the matter. In his profiles not only would Zolomon with the help of Hamilton list what each person is armed with or outfitted with but also begin to predict some next steps based on certain members' patterns. The most noted of which was the greed and recklessness of Captain Boomerang. What he and the rest of the CCPD didn't predict was who else had taken an interest in what was transpiring in Central City. This was on display when Boomerang swore in Killer Moth to carry out an out of hours heist off book. During the process they would be confronted by a group of ARGUS agents led by Manuel Lago (Peter Gadiot). With Boomerang being swiftly captured, Killer Moth who was not deemed as a priority wa allowed to escape by ARGUS.

Returning back to the Rogues with news of what has transpired. Moth would be met with much anger and frustration by all apart from Abra Kadabra. As we'd see however in a later private conversation with Devoe who's own powers seemed to be growing as he experimented on himself. Devoe revealed he knew that Abra Kadabra was from the future and this is why he had knowledge of exactly who to recruit and how to bring out the best in them. In the fallout of Boomerang's arrest and the first wave of attacks we'd see more conflict form between Snart and Scudder regarding their means. Meanwhile in the case of Pied Piper it was clear that the Rogue member was perhaps not as comitted to evil as some of his counterparts. Heeding Zolomon's earlier words to Barry, Iris would meanwhile begin to research Wolfe. As she would delve into his past however, this would force Devoe to send out Tony Woodward in a means to silence her. This outright order of Murder wouldn't sit well with Leonard Snart who wanted to be more than just a hit man. Yet as he went to leave with his sister, he would be surrounded by his cohorts with Mirror Master threatening to trap Lisa in the mirror world if he didn't cooperate. Despite his earlier misgivings Mick Rory proved his loyalty by standing with Snart. In the process of this however, no one noticed that Pied Piper had made a swift exit.

With Girder heading to the Central Citizen in order to handle his part of business. He would be surprisingly confronted by the Pied Piper who refused to allow this to stand. Piper would be joined by the Flash to battle against Girder and with the two together, they would manage to blast Girder with a fire hydrant leading to him starting to rust. With Girder stopped in his tracks, the CCPD and Argus would arrive on the scene with Lago revealed to have a history with the CCPD as a former rookie officer. Now an Argus lieutenant, Lago had been brought in as per Wolfe's orders to help bring control back to Central City. This included having a place to hold people like Girder who was taken away. While this happened Clifford Devoe would confront Wolfe and would remind him of his place in this world as he warned him that if he goes down he will take Wolfe with him. Pied Piper meanwhile would fully redeem himself as he rejoined the Flash at Star Labs and apologized in his part of the Rogues. Piper would also provide some valuable intelligence to The Flash and professor Hamilton when he like Barry would be surprised by the appearance of Abra Kadabra.

Marveling at this particular world, Abra Kadabra would muse to Barry Allen that he comes from a very different time and world. This is why when Eobard Thawne returned to his time as a mere museum worker and no memory of who he once was. He had to come and see for himself what was so special. Remarking that he also didn't see the Pied Piper turning to the side of good, Abra Kadabra would issue them a warning that he was going to return to his time for now but would see them very soon. With that Abra Kadabra would vanish into thin air. Having lost members and seen ARGUS now in Central City, the Rogues would begin to feel some pressure with Calculator being the next to vanish as we'd learn that the information broker had taken with him a bunch of illicitly gained money from the many crimes of the Rogues. Mirror Master meanwhile would begin contesting for more power and rebelling against Devoe's instructions to make plans of his own. This would include a planned attack on Star Labs who he believed had knowledge of The Flash.

As this attack would go on, it became clear that the Rogues were not in fact on the same page as again they all had their own tactics and methods. With ARGUS using power dampening technology and having armor to combat the Rogues weapons, not too mention the efforts of the Pied Piper and the Flash, this would force the Rogues to begin making an escape. In a further display of Scudder's ruthlessness, he would abandon Roy Bivolo and leave him to face ARGUS on his own despite having the means to save him. With Barry able to avoid his light blasts, the Rainbow Raider would soon be equipped with power dampening handcuffs and handed to ARGUS. What Star Labs and the rest didn't count on however was what Captain Cold did in this time. This was on display when later that evening off his own back Leonard Snart would show up at Barry Allen's home when he was having dinner with Iris. Saying he is there to make a deal with him to bring a stop to the madness and the Rogues, Snart agrees to work with Barry from the inside if Barry helps him rescue Lisa. Despite not fully trusting Snart, Barry agrees to go along with this plan.

As we'd see however in the fall out of this failed attack, The Rogues would continue to fracture with James Jesse being the latest to go out on his own much to the concern of many of the others thanks to his insanity. Mark Mardon would also storm off heading to the nearest bar while Scudder and Dillon would show their own faults going on a binge with narcotics. This would disgust Clifford Devoe and allow Snart a chance to sway Mick Rory to his side in this plan. As part of the plan, Mick Rory would head out for a drink but this would in fact be the same bar as Mardon. It would be here that Rory tipped off The Flash and this allowed Mardon to be blindsided and captured by the CCPD. In return to prove himself as a man of his word, Barry Allen with help from Pied Piper managed to find where Lisa was being held and would find that only Killer Moth was holding her prisoner. With Barry saving Lisa Snart, Pied Piper would easily knock out Moth temporarily but when the CCPD showed up Moth had managed to make an escape.

His sister now safe, Leonard Snart looked to make his leave but would be surprised when Barry asked for his help more so. Surprisingly it would be Lisa who instead proved to be more helpful as she revealed that she had in her captivity managed to take a USB of some of Calculator's recent research. This material would provide details of Wolfe's plot and alignment with Clifford Devoe. Handing this to Iris, the Citizen would then publish an article exposing that the Rogues had been formed as per a plot of Mayor Wolfe and Devoe. A livid Devoe would be forced to go into hiding yet as he did so, we'd see him truly becoming the Thinker while Wolfe having no intention of going quietly would shoot himself. Returning to Star Labs, Barry would be surprised to be met by Patty Spivot. Having figured out Barry's secret on her own and proud of what he is doing, Spivot wanted to help. Despite Barry having some misgivings, Spivot reminded him that she had trained for this in looking to be a police officer and was always at the top of the class in combat training. While Barry may have been hesitant, Spivot's wishes would be heeded by Hamilton and McGee who would be joined by Rathaway to assist in Spivot's training.

Swearing in costume designing Paul Gambi (Bob Odenkirk), We'd see weaponry and a suit designed based on the abilities of Weather Wizard, Rainbow Raider, Girder and with some of the Rogues other weaponry and gifts. In turn this would allow Patty to enter the field under the hero name of Metamerican. Here we would learn more about Patty Spivot's story and the fact that she was in fact the daughter of a cop who lost his life because of James Jesse. This is why when Spivot heard of James Jesse orchestrating a hostage situation with planned, public executions she would insist on entering the field. With her full abilities and skills on display, Spivot easily disarmed and defeated The Trickster and handed him over to the CCPD. Back at the crime labs meanwhile Barry would be surprised by Manuel Lago. Shown to be old friends from Lago's rookie days, Barry couldn't help but express his misgivings about Argus. In response to this Lago would reveal that they know exactly who Barry is but have no designs in stopping him from continuing his work. Continuing to further his own self experimentation, Clifford Devoe as the Thinker finally began to see the truth about Killer Moth. Remarking that he now sees what Abra Kadabra did, The Thinker with the help of some experiments start to awaken the meta inside Moth.

At the same time Hunter Zolomon would leave the CCPD after another days work profiling. As he did, he would be met by Abra Kadabra who was in disguise as a janitor. Recognizing Hunter and greeting him on seeing his name, Abra Kadabra would present Zolomon with the same chemical given to others to recognize their Meta DNA. Telling him to think about it as it will give him answers, Abra Kadabra would vanish without a trace. With the Rogues near enough fully fractured, Mirror Master and Top looked for a last score before making their exit. They would be joined by Captain Cold, Heatwave and Golden Glider under the guise of it being one last heist. Of course during the score Mirror Master and Top attempted to betray them with Top causing bouts of Vertigo in the trio. Before Mirror Master could kill them however, the Flash and Metamerican would show up. As Mirror Master entered a mirror however he would be surprised when Snart froze all the others with his cold gun leaving him trapped. This allowed Golden Glider and Metamerican to team up and knock out the top before outfitting her with power dampeners. With the Rogues now defeated however we'd see shockingly Lisa Snart blast Patty with the gold gun pinning her to the wall while Snart shot Barry with a small blast of his cold gun to hold him.

Wanting to make another deal with Barry Allen, Leonard Snart says he doesn't want to wish for his life to be on the run looking for a flash to pick him up. So he offers Flash a deal, if he doesn't hunt them and leaves them be Snart will keep their identity safe. Barry in return counters he will only agree to this if they stop killing and hurting innocent lives. This would be deal Snart agreed to when suddenly the group were surprised with a roar as we saw Killer Moth in his Charaxes form. The Monstrous moth was terrifying and made the character in the Rogues perceived as a joke, as it's most dangerous threat. However the Flash and Metamerican would be joined by Captain Cold, Heatwave and Golden Glider to combat this threat with Cold managing to freeze Charaxes for ARGUS to work on a cure. With Cold, Heatwave and Glider escaping we would then see ARGUS arrive on the scene with Lago personally ensuring that Top, Mirror Master and Charaxes are all taken in under his command.

With the Rogues defeated and the Metahumans captured, all focus would turn to locating Clifford Devoe. When the Thinker did appear before the CCPD and the Flash however, we no longer saw the confident leader of the Rogues. Instead we saw a sickly and frail man. During this conversation with the Flash, the Thinker revealed that in his quest for knowledge he sacrificed his help as thanks to his self experiments while his intelligence grew so did the cancer inside of him. Now a dying man and wanting to test himself as the Fastest Mind alive. Thinker's plot involved trapping the Flash, but remarked that he knew with the Flash's friends around him this wouldn't work in his favor. Succumbing slowly to his illness, Devoe would refuse to be saved as the CCPD and ARGUS flanked him. With that the Flash sequel would wrap up with Barry and Iris hosting a party joined by Frye, Curtis, Forrest, Spivot, Lago, The Zolomons and other friends. Here the pair would announce to everyone that they was getting married. From here we would see not one but two post credit scenes. The first of which would see Manuel Lago returning to ARGUS. Here he would be met by Rick Flag (Jensen Ackles). Congratulating Lago on a job well done, Flag would reveal that Captain Boomerang, Killer Moth, Mirror Master and the Top were all in holding. On top of this he would also reveal that Clifford Devoe was currently against his will being held in a private ward as Waller looked to talk with him. The second scene meanwhile would focus on Hunter Zolomon who in private had taken this chemical provided to him by Abra Kadabra. This compound would begin to make Zolomon's feet twitch and slowly we'd see him rise gingerly from his wheel chair. An emotional Ashley would embrace her husband branding this a miracle while a stunned Hunter looked at his hand to see it phasing like the Flash as blue lightning appeared in his eyes.

DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE
catwoman-2018-33.jpg
NINE LIVES OF A FELINE FATALE
For the very first time since the beginning of the DC Extended Universe, it's next entry would not be a feature film. Instead it would be an eight episode miniseries entitled Nine Lives of a Feline Fatale. The titles of the eight episodes would be "Crime Pays", "The One you love", "Crooked Little Town", "The Dark End of the Street", "The Long Road Home", "Race of Thieves", "Friend or Foe" and lastly "Her Sister's Keeper" in order. These titles of course would all be names taken from Catwoman collected editions. This of course would be a direct continuation from Batman: Year One in which we last saw Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Eiza Gonzalez) and Holly Robinson (Cailey Fleming) being given safe passage out of Gotham City thanks to Bruce Wayne (Wes Bentley). Before we could get back to this stage of the story however first we would see some flash backs of the past of Selina Kyle and what shaped her into becoming the woman she is now. The youngest daughter of Brian (DJ Cotrona) and Maria Kyle (Marta Milans).

The younger sister of Maggie Kyle, Selina very much had a sad and lonely childhood. Her mother was a distant woman who only seemed to prefer the company of stray cats in the neighborhood, while her father was a cruel and abusive man in particular when alcohol was involved. His anger and rage would in particularly be directed towards his wife but this did not at all mean his daughters were protected or shielded from his rage. In response to this Selina would spend a lot of time on the street rather than going home. During this time we'd see her graduate from just a pickpocket into a thief as she looked to survive. While Selina showed herself to be survivor on her own, her sister Maggie in contrast was shown to be more of a caretaker spending her time volunteering or acting as a caretaker for her mother and father. One day Selina would return home after spending many nights away and would tragically find her mother dead having taken her own life.

Having clearly had enough of this harsh life, her mother had opted for an escape. In doing so Brian as we'd learn would fully take out his rage on Selina. Hating the fact that she looked like her mother, Brian's actions saw Selina spend more time on the street as he slowly continued to drink himself to death. When that did in fact happen as we'd learn Maggie was taken into care and sent to an orphanage while Selina ran away and stayed on the streets with this being the last time she saw her sister. Sadly of course as we'd very much see in this time would be Selina's descent into crime and prostitution as she fell in with the likes of Stan the Pimp (Kirk Acevedo) and Johnny Viti (Cameron Britton). As we'd see however with Selina's crimes and robberies by this point had grown a lot more proficient with her being a skilled cat burglar. On top of this Selina would act as a dominatrix for her clients allowing her to find out more details for future crimes. In this time as we'd see Selina would come to care for young Holly Robinson, a girl brought in by Stan who greatly reminded Selina of herself.

From here we would return to present time in this storyline as we'd see Selina and Holly fleeing Gotham City. With Bruce Wayne of course providing them safe passage, Selina recognized that Holly needed some help immediately. This was thanks in part to Stan who hoped to prostitute Holly and would in fact get Holly addicted to drugs to do so. With Holly experiencing withdrawal symptoms, Selina despite wanting to go back for Bruce, would be forced to return home to Port Orsegwo. A small quiet town in the outskirts of Oregon, it had been a long time since Selina had been here. The reason for her return to her hometown was to search out a rare friend who Selina still had in town this being Lola McIntyre (Geena Davis). In many ways Lola was perhaps the closest thing to a mother Selina had in her younger days as she often allowed Selina to stay at hers. However Lola never approved of Selina's lifestyle or choices which is why the pair drifted apart.

Despite this Lola was always fond of Selina so that when she reappeared on her door out of the blue after many number of years asking for help. It was without hesitation that Lola opened her door as we'd learn that Selina was one of a few young women that Lola had helped in her day. Stating that while she never condoned or appreciated many of the choices Selina had made, her door would always be open to herself. Lola would prove to be a great asset in helping Holly overcome her withdrawal from narcotics and would say that Selina and Holly could stay with her as long as they needed. Selina however was a little more cautious as she knew that her return in Port Orsegwo would not remain quiet for long. This would especially be the case in the underworld after a series of thefts were carried out targeting a prolific businessman in Port Orsegwo. As these thefts began to take place we'd start to be introduced to the small police unit of Port Orsegwo. This included detective Carlos Alvarez (Gabriel Luna).

A highly respected detective and former soldier with honors. Carlos Alvarez was very much seen as a benchmark for the police force in Port Orsegwo. Also on the scene for this case would include veteran detective Francis Laney (Nicholas Brendon) and his partner Max Eckhart (Ian Tracey). This would be at the behest of Port Orsegwo police captain Michael Akins (Eric Bogosian). As this investigation would begin to take place Carlos would meet his new partner on the job as Tammy Keyes (Olivia Cheng) arrived on the crime scene for the first time. A newly graduated detective who has come to Port Orsegwo for her very first case, Tammy Keyes as we'd see is a very eager and keen young woman who is looking to progress and impress in this career. Adding to the pressure of this case was the presence of Carlos' former partner turned private investigator Slam Bradley (Steven Dorff). The hard nosed Bradley had been hired independently for this operation and it would soon appear he was aware of the rumors of Catwoman being in town.

Also investigating this matter is a reporter name of Charlotte Rivers (Emily Rudd). An inquisitive woman who has long sought to expose the criminal exploits ongoing in Port Orsegwo. Rivers lately had been looking to expose a criminal known only by the alias of Bone. Believing Bone to be responsible for the rise in crime and corruption to this city. Rivers wished to expose him and bring down all those she believed were aligned with Bone including the mayor and many prolific businessman. As we'd see in a later scene this villainous mobster was in fact prolific businessman Louis Ferryman (Michael Imperioli). Having come from a background of poverty, Ferryman was obsessed material things to prove his worth now he'd 'made it'. This included artwork, jewels and other pieces of art all of which were apart of his collection until this theft. Livid at the heist, Ferryman would personally have his own men executed in retaliation to this. Hearing rumors of the Catwoman being in Port Orsegwo, we'd see the true grasp of Ferryman's power as he reached out to his right hand Lark (Jenny Slate).

While to the untrained eye Lark was Jill Hampton a government official who worked closely with mayor Sebastian Hady (Dirk Blocker). The truth of the matter would be that Lark was an enforcer and hit woman for Bone and it would be with this status and power that she was put in office to keep tabs on Hady who was on Bone's payroll. Using her connections it would be Hady who used her resources to delve into the past of Selina Kyle and through this she would find out information on Lola McIntyre. With this done, it would be later that day where Bone and his men showed up at Lola's apartment while her and Selina were checking on Holly. Ferryman would seemingly be holding Selina firmly responsible for his theft and demanded his stuff be returned. Despite Selina's protests of innocence, Bone remained adamant that Selina would return what was his. This is why to her shock, Bone would shoot Lola in the stomach. From here Lark would easily put Selina down on the ground while some of Bone's henchman would take Holly captive as collateral.

Warning Selina that he'd have little issue in killing the kid should he not get what he wanted. Bone demands that Selina get his stuff back from whatever two bit crooks she sold it to. With that Bone and his men would leave as Selina tended to Lola and took her to the hospital. Thankfully the doctors would later reveal that Lola would survive her wound but this didn't stop Selina from feeling guilty. Admitting that she is not a carer or a mother figure, Selina says that she should have just left Holly with Lola and left Port Orsegwo before anyone saw her. She'd be stopped by Lola however who told her that in her opinion she showed a mothering side in how she cared for Holly just like Lola did for Selina back in the day. With that Selina would enter the field of play and start chasing up some old names and contacts in order to find out who committed this theft. As she did so Selina came into contact with Slam Bradley. With Bradley also hired to investigate this robbery as we'd learn by Louis Ferryman much to his chagrin, Bradley was unaware of Selina's earlier confrontation with Bone. Bradley and Selina did have some noted history with Bradley arresting or being after Kyle during several of her previous crimes. What followed would be a short fight between the pair as the heavy drinking Bradley had fallen on tough times.

After knocking Bradley to the ground and expressing her disgust and disappointment at what he'd become, Selina would flee and continue her own work while Bradley got a much needed look at his own reflection and the person he'd become. While this was going on we'd go back to Port Orsegwo PD where we'd see Tammy Keyes continuing to research the Cat despite Alvarez remarking that they had to explore other avenues. Detectives Laney and Eckhart as we'd learn from a private phone call were in fact under Ferryman's payroll also. Soon however they'd be granted a new case thanks to the arrival of Jeremiah Arkham (David Dastmalchian). One of the chief doctors of Arkham Asylum, Jeremiah Arkham would reveal that he is in Port Orsegwo due to a recent prison transfer to Arkham which saw a serial killer named Jane Doe make her escape. Calling Doe a woman without a true identity, Jeremiah Arkham would reveal that she assumes the identity of the people she kills like a chameleon.

Continuing her investigation, Selina would begin to look up some old contacts of hers. The first of which would be a former friend and rival Sylvia Sinclair (Danielle Moinet). Sinclair as we'd learn was another young woman who had been cared for growing up by Lola. She was also someone who still sadly was involved in some crime herself as a thief in her own right who targets cars. It would be Sinclair as we'd learn who sold Selina and Lola down the river. With that a fight would commence between the pair, during this fight which Selina would best Sylvia in. Selina would reveal to her former friend that Lola was in hospital. Unaware of this attack and looking to make amends for such, Sylvia would put Selina in touch with another former friend this of course being Gwen Altmont (Julia Stiles). An enigmatic woman and fence for many criminals out there, Fence is far from a people person and far from Selina's biggest fan. However like Sylvia and Selina, she was also raised and looked after by Lola and didn't want a girl to be captured by Bone. This is why Fence was able to give Selina a name of a criminal who may know all of the players in town.

This would lead to Selina Kyle to head to a venue known as the House. Owned and operated by a woman known as Veronica Sinclair/Roulette (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe). We'd learn that Roulette is a career criminal and financier. The owner of the House and all manner of illegal underground activities. Roulette's casino on this night along with Catwoman present would also be a few other characters of note. The first of which would be a rival thief by the name of Margaret Pye/Magpie (Josephine Langford). The thief and criminal had been a frequent rival of Selina's during their various crime sprees and it seemed that Magpie wanted nothing more than to be acknowledged by Selina as her equal. Another visitor on this evening would be Jaina Hudson/White Rabbit (Anaya Panday). A rising thief in her own right, the woman known as White Rabbit was shown to be more of a fangirl to Selina and Maragaret. With these three present in the House however, the trio would soon be held at gun point by Roulette's men.

It would be here that Roulette revealed that this group were assembled to take part in Roulette's latest game. To see who the best and brightest thief in Port Orsegwo was. As Roulette outlined the rules, it was Selina who put two and two together and realized that Roulette is in fact the person who robbed Bone. With this contest having winners and losers and bets put on it, it become clear by Roulette's outlining of the rules that the losers would be killed if they wasn't killed in the challenge itself to commit a heist. With this heist now being another one of Ferryman's sites, As the game began we'd learn White Rabbit was in fact a bored and wealthy heiress who had been committing her crimes for the sheer thrill of it. Equipped with gadgets and weapons White Rabbit would open fire on Magpie and Catwoman. This would force this pair of veteran thieves to ban together as they looked to fight back against White Rabbit. As this continued on however we would see Gwen had made a private tip off to the police. This led to officers arriving on the scene of the House while Kyle continued to figure out that none of the thieves would survive once Roulette got what she wanted. This led to White Rabbit, Selina and Magpie all fighting back against Roulette's men while Roulette herself would be arrested by Carlos Alvarez.

Coming across the stash and it's location, Selina looked to contact Bone's people when she would be attacked by Magpie. Wanting the money for herself Magpie looked to double cross Selina and a vicious fight between the pair would break out. At the same time we'd see White Rabbit manage to flee and make her exit while police continued to arrive on the scene. Using her whip to knock out Magpie, Selina would leave her for the police with Magpie also being arrested. Shockingly Selina would be aided in her escape by Slam Bradley who had taken her words to heart earlier. Looking to make amends and wanting redemption, Bradley was prepared to help Selina at all costs. However he warned her that Roulette by the time she makes the station will have already made bail and her exit from Port Orsegwo. He also warned her that the police would be acting as Bone's personal enforcers. After reuniting Selina with Fence and Sinclair, Bradley would later be meeting with Carlos Alvarez.

Bradley would tell Alvarez exactly what he told Selina as Carlos responded that already as per Mayor Hady, Selina is being hunted. Knowing that Selina wasn't responsible for this, Alvarez pledged that he will do all he can in an effort to make sure that Selina is given fair process. However he is also quick to warn Bradley that he cannot say the same about his new partner who has taken a personal mission to bring her down. Asking Alvarez to keep him updated on things, Bradley also mentioned that he was now being paid for his time to investigate the Jane Doe case. Alvarez in turn ask for him to keep him updated on that front also while Selina having returned to Fence and Sylvia would say that she knows Bone is trying to make an example of her now. He could have gotten that money anytime with his connections, so now she is going to get Holly herself. In response to this Altmont would provide Selina with a gift of some equipment she'd acquired through her connections. This would outfit Selina with a new catwoman suit reminiscent of her costume in the Darwyn Cooke's comic series. With this equipment Selina would go directly to Bone who was joined on this evening by Laney and Eckhart.

Confronting Bone, Selina says she knew he knew that Roulette was responsible all along. At the same time this was going on we'd see Sylvia Sinclair in her next attempt for redemption reach out to Slam Bradley and the pair would head to Bone's hideout. Along with this Fence herself would personally tip off Carlos Alvarez and with his captain's approval Alvarez would plan a police raid to arrest Bone showing that not everyone was under Ferryman's payroll. Calling taking down Roulette just him clearing the board of competition, Bone says that Selina never quite honored their agreement and for that he won't hold up his end either. With that Lark would attack Selina while Bone looked to leave with the two corrupt police officers. Arriving on the scene together would be Sylvia and Slam both of whom would be armed with guns and would engage in a shoot out with some of Ferryman's men as they looked to rescue Holly.

As Bone and the two officers looked to make their leave we'd see Alvarez and Keyes arrive and show up on the scene. Laney and Eckart would fire their weapons at Alvarez and Keyes leading to a shoot out in which Alvarez managed to wound Eckhart while Keyes shot and killed Laney. With Bone fleeing back into his hide out, Alvarez would go in pursuit with Tammy following close behind as more officers handcuffed Eckart. During her fight with Lark meanwhile we'd see Selina find herself outmatched by Lark's combat prowess. With Lark sadistically tormenting her, Selina would finally be forced to strike as she used her cat claws to cut Lark's throat and kill her. With Lark defeated, Selina would rush in looking for Holly and she like the rest would find Holly when Bone had snatched the girl and was holding a knife close to her chest. Thankfully however a well aimed shot by Slam into the shoulder of Bone would cause him to release Holly and this allowed Selina and Sylvia to get her away from Bone's clutches. With Bone wounded, Alvarez and Keyes would also arrive on the scene.

Wanting to bring in both Bone and Selina for their crimes, Alvarez would show himself once more to be a good man and officer as he allowed for Slam and Sylvia to take Holly out of there. With Bone and Selina both captured, Alvarez would state that he personally would be the one to take Selina to the police station while leaving Bone with several other officers. Despite having caught her woman as she intended, throughout this Tammy would remain silent as she and Carlos put Selina in their car and began to drive back to the precinct. Meanwhile Bradley and Sylvia having made their escape would head back to Fence's location where we'd also see Lola waiting having checked herself out of hospital. However as Slam would get to the door he'd be called by one of his sources and this would provide him with various photos and aliases of Jane Doe. As he reviewed them however, Bradley would be met with a shocking revelation and he'd immediately make a call.

Wanting to warn Carlos Alvarez, Slam would call him as Carlos of course was in transit with Tammy and Selina. As Slam was about to give Carlos a warning however, Tammy would appear to lose control of the car and would crash it in the street. Not wearing a seatbelt, Carlos would be knocked out during the crash while Selina was also groggy and rocked from this. As she'd begin to stir, she would find herself being pulled from the wreckage by Tammy. However Tammy now looked a lot different having removed the wig on her hair, revealing short black hair underneath and the contact lenses on her eyes which altered the color. Revealing herself to in fact be the serial killer known as Jane Doe, Jane would reveal that she happened to meet Tammy Keyes in a diner just outside Port Orsegwo and was very interested to see what life was like as a cop. Which is why she killed her and assumed her identity, now however she wants a lot more interesting kind of life knowing that she can't keep this ruse up forever. This is why her plan is to kill Selina and become the new Catwoman.

Distracted by Carlos begin to rise, Jane took her eye off Selina for one second and this allowed the handcuffed Selina to knock her to the ground and snatch her gun. As she held Jane at gun point, Selina would be confronted by a stunned Carlos Alvarez. Wanting answers on what is going on, Jane would give a story that Selina had looked to use the crash as a means to escape while Selina lowered her gun as she tried to warn Alvarez of who Tammy really was. While Alvarez tried to piece things together we'd see Jane Doe begin to slowly pull a knife discreetly from her pocket when Alvarez would shoot her in the shoulder to put her down on the ground. Knowing this is potentially what Slam was warning him about and believing Selina, Alvarez then would surprisingly give Selina a chance to escape as he said that he will let her leave as long as she leaves Port Orsegwo. However he'd be quick to Warn Selina that not only is Roulette still out there for her but also Magpie managed to escape custody and will be looking for her.
With that Alvarez would handcuff Jane Doe and bring her back to the station where she'd be reunited with Jeremiah Arkham. After thanking Alvarez for his work, Jeremiah would begin to arrange Jane Doe new transport for Arkham Asylum. The series would then gradually come to an end with Alvarez first thanking Slam for his help as both men put their differences aside. Rivers meanwhile having been given all the tips by Bradley would finally write her story exposing all the corruption which led to the arrest of Mayor Hady. Selina meanwhile returned to Lola's home where she'd find Fence, Sylvia and Lola all waiting for her along with Holly. Relieved to know that Holly is safe, Selina would say that she needs to leave as there are people out there after her still. Lola and surprisingly Fence would offer to look after Holly with Sylvia's help while she recovered. Promising Holly that she wouldn't abandon her and would come back for her, Selina would share a tearful farewell with Holly as she said she would be back soon once she had tied up some loose ends. With that this miniseries would come to an end but not before one last scene which saw Selina Kyle pull up at a church. Inside Selina would approach a nun and address her as Sister as she'd reunite with Maggie (Daniela Melchoir) for the first time since they were kids.
