As the DC Extended Universe continues to progress in it's second chapter with a wave of highly received sequels as thus far the Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman sequels have been met with mostly positive reviews. Looking to continue on this momentum was the Flash sequel with it's first film Born to Run being one of the more highly received movies of the first chapter. Similar to what we saw with the Wonder Woman sequel, this film would begin with a direct continuation from the first film but in a stark contrast from the first film. This film wouldn't focus as much on the origin of Barry Allen/The Flash (Dylan O'Brien) but instead would act as more of an origin story of the criminal faction known as the Rogues. As we'd later see the origin of the Rogues would begin following a conversation between former Iron Heights prison turned Central City mayor Gregory Wolfe (Eamonn Walker) and his legal counsel Clifford Devoe (Jamie Campbell Bower). As we'd see in the conversation between the pair Wolfe held a lot of prejudice towards not just the Flash but Metahumans as a whole and he did not want a Metahuman as the cities' protector nor did he want them living in Central City.
During this particular conversation and several other after, we'd see Clifford Devoe carefully gaslighting Wolfe. Using Wolfe's prejudice and disgust as a means to manipulate and influence Wolfe's decision making. This as we'd learn was by design of Devoe as we'd delve into the backstory of this shady lawyer. Shown to have always been someone who was unafraid to take short cuts, Clifford Devoe wasn't however that skilled of an attorney. While shown to be highly studious with a thirst for knowledge, he wasn't naturally gifted in his field and at times lacked the charisma and confidence needed in his speeches. This would cause much frustration in Devoe's life and we'd see him constantly seeking to improve himself in anyway possible. This included expanding his own intelligence and this would lead to him conducting many experiments to try and make this possible. Similarly to Barry Allen, his life would be forever altered during that freak series of lightning. As while Barry Allen was working with chemicals and granted Super Speed, Devoe was conducting an experiment known as a thinking cap when he was struck and thanks to this Devoe would become a Metahuman with enhanced intelligence and some small psychic gifts.
This very much altered everything for Devoe who found himself gaining that confidence that he'd not had before. Thanks to his increasing knowledge and ability to influence others, Clifford Devoe would swiftly go from a loser in the legal world to an outright winner. Yet in time with a mind as great as his, Devoe got tired of merely dominating cases and getting criminals reduced sentences. Needing a challenge to further prove his intellect, Devoe instead turned to crime himself with this conspiracy as he wished to test himself as the fastest mind alive against that of the fastest Man alive. Seeing this in some ways as a game with many moving parts. Devoe in private notes and recordings to himself likened this to a game of chess and would remark that he would need many pawns in order to truly achieve checkmate. We would then be given a montage or should we say Flashes of Barry Allen in action. In these scenes we would see more of Barry continuing to progress as The Flash, the first of these scenes would include The Flash stopping a vicious assault by noted thug Tony Woodward (Callan Mulvey).
Another scene would show The Flash stopping and confronting bumbling career criminal Drury Walker (Topher Grace) before he is arrested by Frank Curtis (Michael Rapaport). Another event which saw the Flash unite with the Central City Police Department would be when the Flash helped intercept a bank robbery and hostage situation organized by a prolific criminal Sam Scudder (James Ransome) who was joined by his girlfriend Rose Dillon (Malin Ackerman) and Roy Bivolo (Owain Yeoman). This would allow Captain Daryl Frye (Rufus Sewell) and his officers to arrest these dangerous criminals. Further building a strong relationship with the CCPD much to the anger and annoyance of Gregory Wolfe, the Flash would also help David Singh (Jay Ali) in capturing a wanted killer Mark Mardon (Peter Serafenawicz) and also twisted serial killer James Jesse (Billy Magnussen) when both had managed to escape from prison. Continuing this trend The Flash would also intercept an arms deal orchestrated by criminal George Harkness (Sam Worthington). With these acts of heroism all being reported by Iris West (Shailene Woodley), it would seem public opinion of the Flash and his attempts to stop crime in Central City were at a high.
This would be furthered when The Flash in a personal mission stopped Hartley Rathaway (Andrew Garfield) from breaking into Star Labs after the former lab tech had been harassing Tina McGee (Madeline Mantock). The last flash back would be perhaps the most impressive as again working in perfect cohesion with the CCPD, Barry Allen managed to bring a stop to a jewelry robbery orchestrated by Leonard Snart (Adam Driver) and his team which included his own sister Lisa Snart (Riley Keough) and Mick Rory (Logan Marshall Green). At the same time while the Flash's efforts couldn't be ignored, extra praise had to go to Barry himself and the CCPD department. Following the previous film which really expanded on a lack of cohesion or trust between the officers and the crime lab itself. In this film we'd see thanks in part to Captain Frye and also James Forrest (Morgan Freeman), that these walls would steadily be broken down. In fact officers Frank Curtis and David Singh in particular seemed not only more willing to work with the lab but also engage with the team for their opinions and input.
At the same time as we'd see Kristin Kramer (Kacey Rohl) continue to excel as a supervisory role at the lab. While far perhaps from being a people person, Kristin Kramer was a highly skilled and intelligent worker who in many ways was seen by James Forrest as his successor when he finally retired. On top of Kramer would of course be Barry's colleague and best friend Patty Spivot (Elizabeth Lail). Shown to be a highly intelligent young woman and very gifted in her field, Spivot as we'd learn in several scenes actually had some designs on being a police officer herself at one stage. This is something she'd talk about in private with Barry and also three new officers who have joined the CCPD. One being a young rookie detective by the name of Julio Mendez (Lorenzo James Henrie) and the other detectives we'd be introduced to would be Angela Margolin (Sydney Lemmon) and veteran detective Charles Conwell (Peter Jacobson). With these additions to the CCPD, we'd continue to see the department further itself along from it's darker days in the previous film.
Along with the changes professionally we'd also see a lot of changes in Barry's personal life. While of course he had sadly now lost both parents with his father dying in prison. Shown with his gifts and new purpose to have improved his work life and time keeping to become a respected member of the team. Barry personally would be helped through this tough time by his girlfriend Iris both of whom helped one another with their grieving having each lost their fathers in the last film due to violence. Along with this healthy relationship, Barry also had a close friendship with criminal profiler Hunter Zolomon (Sam Rockwell). At one stage a high ranking agent, Zolomon of course was left maimed and paralyzed because of Eobard Thawne in the last film. While Hunter's life since this had taken a downward turn thanks to being confined to a wheel chair with some doubting he'll ever walk again. Despite this despair Ashley Zolomon (Betty Gabriel) would stand by and support her husband as much as she could. Barry would also frequently engage with Hunter about his cases and by doing this it appeared that Hunter would snap out of the fog and dark clouds over him.
During these conversations about Barry's cases Hunter Zolomon's profiling and knowledge would be on further display as he'd act in some ways like a mentor to Barry. On top of this Hunter would candidly tell Barry about his confrontation and experience with Eobard Thawne and how to this day he finds himself haunted by visions of Eobard sparing him but only when he learned his name. Enquiring as to why he did that, Hunter said some things he guesses will always be unanswered. Curiously though Zolomon also warned Barry to be careful of Mayor Wolfe, as he said in his time working for other agencies he was well aware that Wolfe wasn't someone who could particularly be trusted. Of course as we'd learn it wasn't Wolfe that Allen so much had to be concerned with it was in fact Clifford Devoe. Clearly having a plan in mind Devoe reached out to a criminal known as Noah Cutter/Calculator (Jared Harris). Described as a hacker, cyber criminal and information broker it was Noah Cutter who was able to provide Devoe plenty of information relating to the criminals captured by The Flash and also some government projects.
It would be through Calculator that Devoe would also be put in touch with Abra Kadabra (Shane West). A skilled metahuman with wizard like abilities who often used his powers as a means to commit petty theft at his magic shows. Abra Kadabra seemed during his conversation with Devoe to have some knowledge of the Flash and was willing to help Devoe even if it meant breaking his usual play by getting his hands a lot more dirty. So would begin a series of breakouts from transit vans and Iron Heights in which Abra Kadabra was able to collect several villains for Devoe. Devoe meanwhile in this time would use his connections to get Tony Woodward released from jail and in turn the noted leg breaker would follow Devoe loyally and carry out various crimes and heists for him without hesitation. Woodward of course as we'd learn was always a violent man and goon for hire making him the perfect soldier for the more physical aspect in comparison to the rest. Along with this specific recruitment, Devoe sought out and got Hartley Rathaway free. Very much a sad story and one of abandonment Hartley as we learned was born to a wealthy family but because of being born deaf he was always seen as a weak link.
Shown to have a vested knowledge of technology thanks to actually working for Star Labs in the past as a former apprentice of Emil Hamilton. Rathaway had turned to crime in order to further develop his research of sound and technology. In exchange for providing Rathaway with resources, Devoe and this burgeoning team would have someone able to design them technology. With Rathaway and Woodward not too mention Cutter and Abra Kadabra onside already. Now would the next stage of his plan as in secret Devoe with help from Cutter and Abra Kadabra used a particular compound which Cutter had found the framework of in Argus files. This was designed to awaken Metahuman DNA in others for as we'd learn the reason in which Devoe had taken an interest in Woodward is down to Woodward actually doing some steel work the night of the lightning storm and like the other's he'd been in the vicinity of a lightning strike. Thanks to this injection we'd see Woodward's meta powers activate and him transform into a literal man made of Steel. With that an attack on the CCPD would begin with Woodward now renamed Girder walking through the front door as an attack and diversion while Abra Kadabra snuck in and managed to release Leonard Snart, Mick Rory, Lisa Snart, George Harkness, Drury Walker, Mark Mardon, James Jesse, Sam Scudder, Rose Dillon and Roy Bivolo.
With this collection of criminals or Rogues amassed the Flash couldn't stop Abra Kadabra from teleporting everyone away. Amassing this collective with the promise to take times back to before the Flash with crime running rampant. Clifford Devoe would steadily make the point of meeting with these villains one by one as he spoke of their purpose and future. The first of which would be Leonard Snart who Devoe credited as highly intelligent, resourceful and a survivor. Snart as we'd learn wasn't ruled by greed but instead the challenge and like Devoe he wanted to prove himself against the Fastest Man alive. This is why along with Rathaway they provided Leonard and his cold, stoic presence a weapon befitting him which would be a cold gun. In total contrast to this would be Leonard's partner Mick Rory. A hot tempered pyromaniac, Rory would at times frequently clash with Snart's more cerebral approach. However despite their constant and frequent issues, this pair would work together in cohesion. As with their personalities Rory was outfitted with a weapon in contrast to Snart which was a Heat Gun capable of producing fire at blistering temperatures.
The third in Snart's group would of course be his younger sister Lisa. Formerly a burgeoning pro figure skater who had no interest in a life of crime like her brother. Sadly with a career cut short by injuries Lisa in desperation would begin to work with her brother. Despite not truly having her heart in crime, Lisa would follow her brother's plans loyally and in order to put her in her best position. Devoe would provide her with a set of experimental skates which create their own ice allowing her to skate on any surface even the air and on top of this they would equip her with a gold gun. In the case of George Harkness who we would learn was a former Australian Serviceman, Harkness was a skilled marksman with a talent in particular for projectile weaponry. Which is why he was supplied with a series of boomerangs from his youth to christen him as Captain Boomerang. In the case of Mark Mardon who was a prolific violent offender and who had even murdered his own sibling. Remarking on his volatility and ever changing nature, Devoe would outfit him with a weather wand capable of altering the weather. With James Jesse who by this point was shown to be completely insane, Devoe would outfit him with weaponry based on his sense of humor as he donned the name the Trickster.
While these villains were outfitted with weaponry and costumes in the fashion of their comic counterparts. We'd see in the case of Sam Scudder, Rose Dillon and Roy Bivolo. These three dangerous criminals in a similar fashion to Tony Woodward had been out on the night of the lightning storm. This is something that Devoe had clearly been studying with the help of Abra Kadabra and The Calculator. In a similar fashion to Woodward it would be thanks to a mysterious experiment that these three would all have their metahuman abilities awaken. In the case of Roy Bivolo who's parents were both artists but he was sadly born color blind, he would be able to shoot solid beams of light from his eyes. With Rose Dillon, the loyal girlfriend of Sam Scudder she would be able to generate and manipulate centrifugal forces while in the case of the vain Sam Scudder. He would be granted with full control of mirrors and the world in the reflection. The one outcast of the group was Drury Walker who was regarded as a joke by many except Abra Kadabra. Having created his own costume, Moth would name himself the Killer Moth and would wield a gun known as the Cocoon Gun. Despite this though he was perceived as a joke and not a threat.
Despite the Rogues all being criminals and having common enemies and goals. They did not at all have common ground. This would very much be clear in the case of Snart and Scudder who while aware of one another, they didn't get along. There would also be a contrast in goals for while Leonard Snart just wanted to continue pulling off heists, Sam Scudder craved power and to kill the Flash. Slowly we would see some factions forming in the Rogues and we'd also see Mick Rory begin to be swayed by Scudder's way of thinking. Despite not agreeing on a solution or a goal, they could agree on Devoe's plan to start presenting Flash with issues he can't fix. Namely targeted crimes and acts all at the same time! This would begin with a jewel theft being planned by Leonard Snart now calling himself Captain Cold. He would be joined in this planning and process by Mick Rory/Heatwave, Lisa Snart/Golden Glider and Hartley Rathaway/Pied Piper. Unsurprisingly during this robbery which triggered the alarms thanks to the aggressive Rory, The Flash and CCPD would arrive on the scene. This would be when the Flash would come up against this weaponry of the Rogues for the first time.
Despite managing to narrowly avoid the blasts of Glider and saving officer Mendez from Rory. It would be the sonic weaponry of The Pied Piper which stunned Flash and a blast of the Cold Gun which nearly killed him. With Snart's team able to make their escape, we'd see at the same time a second attack and bank robbery was being orchestrated by Sam Scudder/Mirror Master, Roy Bivolo/Rainbow Raider, Rose Dillon/Top, Tony Woodward/Girder, Mark Mardon/Weather Wizard, Drury Walker/Killer Moth and James Jesse/Trickster. In stark contrast to Snart's surgical and precise approach, this was carnage with many casualties claimed both in the general public and the CCPD. Due to being weakened because of the cold gun Barry wouldn't be able to help the CCPD who suffered multiple casualties. The team at Star Labs would grow concerned with the rise of Metas in Central City and this weaponry with Iris West looking to investigate the night Barry got hit with lightning. As she does so she realizes there were multiple blasts and begins to look into who would have been hit.
With the CCPD suffering many casualties and chaos in the street, Gregory Wolfe would begin to use this as a means to blast the Flash as a beacon for these monsters. Yet in private, Wolfe himself would begin to express concern to Devoe regarding this matter as it was clear this has gone further than he had predicted or expected. Seeking extra help in what has gone on in the city Daryl Frye would reach out to Star Labs for their support and Professor Hamilton's advice. Together as a group, they begin profiling just who is in this faction and even recruit Hunter Zolomon to offer his opinions on the matter. In his profiles not only would Zolomon with the help of Hamilton list what each person is armed with or outfitted with but also begin to predict some next steps based on certain members' patterns. The most noted of which was the greed and recklessness of Captain Boomerang. What he and the rest of the CCPD didn't predict was who else had taken an interest in what was transpiring in Central City. This was on display when Boomerang swore in Killer Moth to carry out an out of hours heist off book. During the process they would be confronted by a group of ARGUS agents led by Manuel Lago (Peter Gadiot). With Boomerang being swiftly captured, Killer Moth who was not deemed as a priority wa allowed to escape by ARGUS.
Returning back to the Rogues with news of what has transpired. Moth would be met with much anger and frustration by all apart from Abra Kadabra. As we'd see however in a later private conversation with Devoe who's own powers seemed to be growing as he experimented on himself. Devoe revealed he knew that Abra Kadabra was from the future and this is why he had knowledge of exactly who to recruit and how to bring out the best in them. In the fallout of Boomerang's arrest and the first wave of attacks we'd see more conflict form between Snart and Scudder regarding their means. Meanwhile in the case of Pied Piper it was clear that the Rogue member was perhaps not as comitted to evil as some of his counterparts. Heeding Zolomon's earlier words to Barry, Iris would meanwhile begin to research Wolfe. As she would delve into his past however, this would force Devoe to send out Tony Woodward in a means to silence her. This outright order of Murder wouldn't sit well with Leonard Snart who wanted to be more than just a hit man. Yet as he went to leave with his sister, he would be surrounded by his cohorts with Mirror Master threatening to trap Lisa in the mirror world if he didn't cooperate. Despite his earlier misgivings Mick Rory proved his loyalty by standing with Snart. In the process of this however, no one noticed that Pied Piper had made a swift exit.
With Girder heading to the Central Citizen in order to handle his part of business. He would be surprisingly confronted by the Pied Piper who refused to allow this to stand. Piper would be joined by the Flash to battle against Girder and with the two together, they would manage to blast Girder with a fire hydrant leading to him starting to rust. With Girder stopped in his tracks, the CCPD and Argus would arrive on the scene with Lago revealed to have a history with the CCPD as a former rookie officer. Now an Argus lieutenant, Lago had been brought in as per Wolfe's orders to help bring control back to Central City. This included having a place to hold people like Girder who was taken away. While this happened Clifford Devoe would confront Wolfe and would remind him of his place in this world as he warned him that if he goes down he will take Wolfe with him. Pied Piper meanwhile would fully redeem himself as he rejoined the Flash at Star Labs and apologized in his part of the Rogues. Piper would also provide some valuable intelligence to The Flash and professor Hamilton when he like Barry would be surprised by the appearance of Abra Kadabra.
Marveling at this particular world, Abra Kadabra would muse to Barry Allen that he comes from a very different time and world. This is why when Eobard Thawne returned to his time as a mere museum worker and no memory of who he once was. He had to come and see for himself what was so special. Remarking that he also didn't see the Pied Piper turning to the side of good, Abra Kadabra would issue them a warning that he was going to return to his time for now but would see them very soon. With that Abra Kadabra would vanish into thin air. Having lost members and seen ARGUS now in Central City, the Rogues would begin to feel some pressure with Calculator being the next to vanish as we'd learn that the information broker had taken with him a bunch of illicitly gained money from the many crimes of the Rogues. Mirror Master meanwhile would begin contesting for more power and rebelling against Devoe's instructions to make plans of his own. This would include a planned attack on Star Labs who he believed had knowledge of The Flash.
As this attack would go on, it became clear that the Rogues were not in fact on the same page as again they all had their own tactics and methods. With ARGUS using power dampening technology and having armor to combat the Rogues weapons, not too mention the efforts of the Pied Piper and the Flash, this would force the Rogues to begin making an escape. In a further display of Scudder's ruthlessness, he would abandon Roy Bivolo and leave him to face ARGUS on his own despite having the means to save him. With Barry able to avoid his light blasts, the Rainbow Raider would soon be equipped with power dampening handcuffs and handed to ARGUS. What Star Labs and the rest didn't count on however was what Captain Cold did in this time. This was on display when later that evening off his own back Leonard Snart would show up at Barry Allen's home when he was having dinner with Iris. Saying he is there to make a deal with him to bring a stop to the madness and the Rogues, Snart agrees to work with Barry from the inside if Barry helps him rescue Lisa. Despite not fully trusting Snart, Barry agrees to go along with this plan.
As we'd see however in the fall out of this failed attack, The Rogues would continue to fracture with James Jesse being the latest to go out on his own much to the concern of many of the others thanks to his insanity. Mark Mardon would also storm off heading to the nearest bar while Scudder and Dillon would show their own faults going on a binge with narcotics. This would disgust Clifford Devoe and allow Snart a chance to sway Mick Rory to his side in this plan. As part of the plan, Mick Rory would head out for a drink but this would in fact be the same bar as Mardon. It would be here that Rory tipped off The Flash and this allowed Mardon to be blindsided and captured by the CCPD. In return to prove himself as a man of his word, Barry Allen with help from Pied Piper managed to find where Lisa was being held and would find that only Killer Moth was holding her prisoner. With Barry saving Lisa Snart, Pied Piper would easily knock out Moth temporarily but when the CCPD showed up Moth had managed to make an escape.
His sister now safe, Leonard Snart looked to make his leave but would be surprised when Barry asked for his help more so. Surprisingly it would be Lisa who instead proved to be more helpful as she revealed that she had in her captivity managed to take a USB of some of Calculator's recent research. This material would provide details of Wolfe's plot and alignment with Clifford Devoe. Handing this to Iris, the Citizen would then publish an article exposing that the Rogues had been formed as per a plot of Mayor Wolfe and Devoe. A livid Devoe would be forced to go into hiding yet as he did so, we'd see him truly becoming the Thinker while Wolfe having no intention of going quietly would shoot himself. Returning to Star Labs, Barry would be surprised to be met by Patty Spivot. Having figured out Barry's secret on her own and proud of what he is doing, Spivot wanted to help. Despite Barry having some misgivings, Spivot reminded him that she had trained for this in looking to be a police officer and was always at the top of the class in combat training. While Barry may have been hesitant, Spivot's wishes would be heeded by Hamilton and McGee who would be joined by Rathaway to assist in Spivot's training.
Swearing in costume designing Paul Gambi (Bob Odenkirk), We'd see weaponry and a suit designed based on the abilities of Weather Wizard, Rainbow Raider, Girder and with some of the Rogues other weaponry and gifts. In turn this would allow Patty to enter the field under the hero name of Metamerican. Here we would learn more about Patty Spivot's story and the fact that she was in fact the daughter of a cop who lost his life because of James Jesse. This is why when Spivot heard of James Jesse orchestrating a hostage situation with planned, public executions she would insist on entering the field. With her full abilities and skills on display, Spivot easily disarmed and defeated The Trickster and handed him over to the CCPD. Back at the crime labs meanwhile Barry would be surprised by Manuel Lago. Shown to be old friends from Lago's rookie days, Barry couldn't help but express his misgivings about Argus. In response to this Lago would reveal that they know exactly who Barry is but have no designs in stopping him from continuing his work. Continuing to further his own self experimentation, Clifford Devoe as the Thinker finally began to see the truth about Killer Moth. Remarking that he now sees what Abra Kadabra did, The Thinker with the help of some experiments start to awaken the meta inside Moth.
At the same time Hunter Zolomon would leave the CCPD after another days work profiling. As he did, he would be met by Abra Kadabra who was in disguise as a janitor. Recognizing Hunter and greeting him on seeing his name, Abra Kadabra would present Zolomon with the same chemical given to others to recognize their Meta DNA. Telling him to think about it as it will give him answers, Abra Kadabra would vanish without a trace. With the Rogues near enough fully fractured, Mirror Master and Top looked for a last score before making their exit. They would be joined by Captain Cold, Heatwave and Golden Glider under the guise of it being one last heist. Of course during the score Mirror Master and Top attempted to betray them with Top causing bouts of Vertigo in the trio. Before Mirror Master could kill them however, the Flash and Metamerican would show up. As Mirror Master entered a mirror however he would be surprised when Snart froze all the others with his cold gun leaving him trapped. This allowed Golden Glider and Metamerican to team up and knock out the top before outfitting her with power dampeners. With the Rogues now defeated however we'd see shockingly Lisa Snart blast Patty with the gold gun pinning her to the wall while Snart shot Barry with a small blast of his cold gun to hold him.
Wanting to make another deal with Barry Allen, Leonard Snart says he doesn't want to wish for his life to be on the run looking for a flash to pick him up. So he offers Flash a deal, if he doesn't hunt them and leaves them be Snart will keep their identity safe. Barry in return counters he will only agree to this if they stop killing and hurting innocent lives. This would be deal Snart agreed to when suddenly the group were surprised with a roar as we saw Killer Moth in his Charaxes form. The Monstrous moth was terrifying and made the character in the Rogues perceived as a joke, as it's most dangerous threat. However the Flash and Metamerican would be joined by Captain Cold, Heatwave and Golden Glider to combat this threat with Cold managing to freeze Charaxes for ARGUS to work on a cure. With Cold, Heatwave and Glider escaping we would then see ARGUS arrive on the scene with Lago personally ensuring that Top, Mirror Master and Charaxes are all taken in under his command.
With the Rogues defeated and the Metahumans captured, all focus would turn to locating Clifford Devoe. When the Thinker did appear before the CCPD and the Flash however, we no longer saw the confident leader of the Rogues. Instead we saw a sickly and frail man. During this conversation with the Flash, the Thinker revealed that in his quest for knowledge he sacrificed his help as thanks to his self experiments while his intelligence grew so did the cancer inside of him. Now a dying man and wanting to test himself as the Fastest Mind alive. Thinker's plot involved trapping the Flash, but remarked that he knew with the Flash's friends around him this wouldn't work in his favor. Succumbing slowly to his illness, Devoe would refuse to be saved as the CCPD and ARGUS flanked him. With that the Flash sequel would wrap up with Barry and Iris hosting a party joined by Frye, Curtis, Forrest, Spivot, Lago, The Zolomons and other friends. Here the pair would announce to everyone that they was getting married. From here we would see not one but two post credit scenes. The first of which would see Manuel Lago returning to ARGUS. Here he would be met by Rick Flag (Jensen Ackles). Congratulating Lago on a job well done, Flag would reveal that Captain Boomerang, Killer Moth, Mirror Master and the Top were all in holding. On top of this he would also reveal that Clifford Devoe was currently against his will being held in a private ward as Waller looked to talk with him. The second scene meanwhile would focus on Hunter Zolomon who in private had taken this chemical provided to him by Abra Kadabra. This compound would begin to make Zolomon's feet twitch and slowly we'd see him rise gingerly from his wheel chair. An emotional Ashley would embrace her husband branding this a miracle while a stunned Hunter looked at his hand to see it phasing like the Flash as blue lightning appeared in his eyes. |
