What's the difference between SSD AND SSDH.. Is it noticeable/worth the extra money?

SSHD is just a hard drive with a flash memory cache. SSD is all flash memory, faster and lasts longer. Performance isn't too different though.

Also, the sshd needs time to speed up. It'll perform the same as a regular hard drive at first, but it learns what to cache over time and then speeds up things you access most to ssd speeds.

Hmm. I have a TB external that I could use if I got the SSD. Think I'll go for the SSHD as this external is almost full anyway. Was it 3.0 the SSHD? Can't remember and I'm on mobile

hey @Solidus, wanna help me build a gaming rig? budget is $1,500 with a good monitor and decent keyboard/mouse.
