Creative having trouble ending WWE championship match, Lesnar may interfere

Not a bad way to end it at all considering the circumstances. It seems too logical for WWE so expect something the complete opposite, like Ryback actually beating CM Punk.

Unfortunately, I see them doing this and hotshotting the title back onto Punk before the Rumble, which just damages the credibility of the champion and both guys in the match, so...no big deal. #wwelogic

I don't think Ryback needs the streak. They can continue to build the character with a loss, if the win is "dirty" (although it would technically be within the rules in a no-dq match, but you get my point). Have Brock (or Swagger, or somebody who might be some kind of shock) come out, get into the cage, and work with Punk to thrash Ryback, have Punk get the pin and retain the title, now you can do what you want with Punk and Cena and Ryback has a feud with whoever was the surprise entrant who helped Punk (the more I think about it, Swagger would be perfect for that; he's a big guy who has a history and needs some kind of jolt to his character to be relevant when he returns...being part of a Heyman-led stable with Punk, Brock, and Swagger would be perfect for him). #TeamOptimism

To be honest I think WWE need to insult our intelligent and have an outside distraction result in the match ending in a draw. Yes it shouldn't happen like that with HIAC but if Henry or Lesnar breaks the cage, takes out Ryback and Heyman tells Punk to leave and walk to the back then no one is really hurt by it. It then gives Ryback a feud outside of the WWE title scene which is what he needs and protects his streak, while Punk stays as champion where he belongs.

I'm thinking it'll probably be because Ryback and Punk end up fighting outside of the cell and the match going to a no contest from there. Heyman sees that Ryback is dominating Punk and is perhaps close to finishing him off, so he steals the keys from the outside referee and enters the cage and distracts Ryback. Ryback destroys him, then Punk tries to escape the cage and take his title and leave. Ryback catches up with him and they brawl and eventually they end up going off the stage or something (imagine the Batista/Taker ending of Backlash 2007, where Batista speared Taker off the stage and they were both out.) They declare that both (or at least Punk) is unable to continue and consider it a no contest as a result.

Both are very nice ways to end the match imo, I'd enjoy seeing those.

I really hope that punk just gets the clean victory and Ryback proves to wrestle a 20 - 30 min match. . I think Ryback needs to lose to shake the goldberg chants and be his own person.
