Could Tito Ortiz go to the WWE?

UFC star Tito Ortiz has posted the following on Twitter:

Quite a few UFC/MMA stars lately commenting on WWE since Mania and now that Lesnar is also back. Won't surprise me if some go there within a few years time. I'm not a big UFC fan so don't know much of Tito Ortiz but would you like to see him in the WWE? I don't think he really meant it anyway with that tweet.

I think he would actually be a pretty good guy in WWE. Give him a reduced schedule, it would be very interesting. He is already quite a character so he'd fit. Just have to get him some of the basics but it'd be interesting. He'd be a good fit.

Would bet anything he'd get over as a heel easy with how he comes off as easily as someone to hate. So might not be a bad idea but seems like Brock coming back has opened the flood gates for MMA to wrestling.

This is one guy I legitimately dislike in life. So getting over as a heel would be very easy. I'd still say no, these guys getting into pro wrestling in their late 30's-40's just doesn't work for me.

During a recent interview conducted for ESPN, UFC star Tito Ortiz had the following to say when asked if he had one more MMA fight in him following his retirement match:
