I'm glad Bully resigned.
I also didn't like the idea from the get go. Heyman's involvement in WWE right now seems to get be to get behind the next cash cow. I think more so this could lead to Punk v.s Lesnar without any real alignments behind it. Bringing in the Dudley's just because of their relationship with Heyman doesn't seem to work with this current thing he is doing. It looks like backtracking just for what bodyguards with a familiar relationship? I'm sure if I scoured over a list of names I'd find a bunch that would fit this current situation better. People that Heyman could use to make more money, The Dudley's at their age would end up getting overexposed in a top feud too fast and probably fall to obscurity within 2 months. Also the internet would turn on this in a week so you should make sure to point that out as good as some people are making the idea look great here, they would hate it once WWE implemented their own way.
Maybe I'm biased or something for the fact that Bully Ray is having the greatest run of this life. I don't know but to give up what he's doing to become a stooge and then forgotten about later in the cluttered midcard that is WWE just doesn't seem like the best option for him overall... If he wants a legacy for himself instead of just another pile of cash.
