I agree that HHH has an ego. But what successful person doesn't? As to his ego not "allowing" him to job to Bryan, I don't think you're at all right about this point.

HHH wouldn't just job to a guy just to job to a guy. It's reminiscent of Austin refusing to job to Lesnar in the first round of the KotR tournament many years back (this was when he "took his ball and went home"). It wasn't that Austin didn't want to job to Lesnar. It wasn't that Austin wasn't willing to make Lesnar look like a hoss. It was simply that Austin didn't like the idea of what he felt would be a cheap loss to Lesnar. If WWE had booked Austin and Lesnar into the final of the KotR and wanted Austin to job, he would have been fine with it. If they had spent two or three weeks hyping the Austin-Lesnar match so it would be a major draw (even a Raw main event), Austin would have done it. He just felt it was bad for business (remember that phrase) to have Lesnar go over him without any build or meaning beyond "Lesnar goes on to the second round of KotR".

I see the HHH/Bryan match as something very similar. If HHH and Bryan were having a random match on Raw, there's no way I would see HHH putting him over. It would be bad for business to waste the years of credibility that HHH has built up (even if he wasn't Vince's son-in-law, he'd be a surefire "first ballot Hall of Famer") on an unhyped, pointless match. But that's not what they're setting up. This is going to be a major event. Bryan's been built as the "next HBK" (I can already hear teeth grinding on that because "BRYAN'S NO HBK!!!!!", but that's the role he's been put into [the smaller, quicker guy who's going to get over with charisma and guile and beats guys with his smarts and his impact ability more than power moves]....and he's performed damn well in it). Add to that the fact that Bryan's been "held down" (in storyline) by the Authority and this is likely the blow-off match of that feud. After Mania, Bryan probably goes on to feud with the winner of Orton/Batista (I still think Orton walks out of that match as Champ the way it's set up now) for the WHC.

When looked at from that perspective, Daniel Bryan winning over HHH at Wrestlemania XXX is what's "best for business".

My analogy wasn't about predicting what would literally happen only that those were the options on the table.
Yes, his ego would prevent him from jobbing, but if they have an angle for Bryan moving forward after Mania he will do the job.
We're on the same page.... the Austin analogy is well taken... the part where you and I do not see eye to eye is that Triple H does not like losing at all really
I wouldn't give Triple H credit for being a team player... he takes his persona very seriously (actually too seriously) and throws talent under the bus (tongue in cheek) on the live stick if he particularly feels like being a d*** that night

I don't like Bryan one bit honestly, but I'm done seeing Triple H highlighting main events when he should be a washed up executive getting his arse handed to him by new talent.... otherwise GTFO and don't wrestle at all.

In the future, post the article here in full with a source. Do not force users to click the link to read it. That's forced advertisement and it's something we do not allow.

I will do what I want with MY article, thanks. I'm not bothering you or hurting your website and I get feedback so please do not talk to me unless you want to talk about the article. I will not lose views because you are jealous of our company getting views.

This is bullshit. Why does HHH have to be a jobber? He is still in better shape and younger than Taker who everyone faps to watching that old ass smurf win every year.

HHH should be the goddamn WWE WHC. fuck the world

Well, no you won't. You are posting on MY website. If you're not going to abide by the rules, your threads will be deleted, and then you'll be banned if you continue. I'm not having some idiot who's desperate for views spamming my forum with article links that contribute nothing. You either post the content of the article within the thread so users can discuss it, or don't post at all.
