you know this for a fact? source please? You mean to tell me this guy doesn't juice at all?
Yes this is a fact okay.. Big E was a youtube sensation and competed in multiple to dozens of bodybuilding competitions a year and then competed in College football while doing bodybuilding (for which he was also tested each season). When you juice directly, it can stay in your system from anywhere between 2 months and 18 months depending on how strong the substance is and how it worked with your body. Do the math.. He would've failed numerous drug tests because all of those competitions and all of his record attempts are tested. You don't become a YouTube sensation or a record holding bodybuilder by cheating..

As for a source, use Google and type in "Ettore Ewen failed drug test" you won't see anything.. you just have to use logic.

if you know the right people, you can get away with a lot. I mean I'm sure he's not doing them near what he use to, but to act like he hasn't is garbage. I want proof lol. sure, I don't have proof he has, but him looking like a freak, being as strong as he is, and only working out 3 times a week isn't adding up.
3 Times a week? He said in one of his radio interviews that in high school and college he was at the gym 6 times a week.. Just because he goes 3 times a week now doesn't mean he didn't go more frequently before to build himself up. When you get to the optimum size you wanna be you can't over/under workout perhaps why he only goes 3 days now.

I've done body building, I know how long it can stay in your system. I was saying that if you know the right people, you can get a way with a lot of shit. Also, were the body building competitions completely drug free? A lot of people can become a youtube sensation and cheat using drugs. That doesn't prove anything. And im just asking because I don't his backround very well. So I asked because if you asked me, it looks he was juicing at some point in time.

I was discussing his current workouts. I'm sure he worked out a lot before. And, yes, you're right....you can maintain working out only 3 times a week....highly unlikely to keep such huge size and maintain doing it this way, but yes it can be done I suppose.

I wonder what his diet is like. Lots of protein I'm assuming.

No offense here, but this is the worst argument ever that somebody uses steroids.

If you know people, you can get away with a lot? You might as well just say: "I have no proof that this guy is juicing, but I personally think he is, so here's my justification. It's a conspiracy." I know this isn't a court of law or anything, but let's keep our heads about ourselves when we're discussing things.

And, him only working out 3 times a week? Most guys who've written books about "life on the road" talk about how easy it is to find a gym to work out in for a day while you're in town. I think it was Nash on one of his commentary youtube videos (when he was asked about working out on the road) who bragged that, at his peak, he would be allowed to work out in most gyms for free, just because he was famous and it was a big deal to have a guy of his stature in the gym. So, it's not exactly out of the realm of possibility that he's working out 5 or 6 days a week. I mean, hell, I've got a membership at Gold's Gym here and I have the ability to work out in just about any Gold's Gym in the country. If I can afford that, I'm pretty sure Big E can, too. And that's not even getting into the fact that it's possible to maintain quite a physique lifting only 3 days a week. The hard part is getting to that level. At his age, staying at that level is a lot less challenging. As he gets older, that will change.

I wanna say Chicken and Rice? Although I may be mixing that up with Ryback.

He still works out pretty hardcore from what I've read, so I imagine he does a lot in those 3 days to compensate for at least one missing workout day.

well I agree. But, again, you can't be too sure if he hasn't done them. I wasn't aware that he'd done so many competitions before, I was just making a guess as the guy is a freak and most guys his size, with as busy as his schedule is, maintain it by doing steroids. Bad argument, perhaps. But not completely illogical.

Big E was quoted, after he fought at Summerslam this past year, that he works out 3 times a week. It's the video on wwe.com where he's working out at muscle beach. Again, not saying he can't maintain his size but damn, this guy is freakily big and huge....so yes, I assumed he has to be juicing or something considering he only works out 3 times a week and he can bench 585 (I think that's what it was).

I never said anything about him not being able to afford a gym lol...im sure Big E works out for free or can afford it if it isn't free.

Fair enough. Then I stand corrected. :)

And as far as his meal plan....yes, I'm sure lots of meats--fish, chicken, and even pork on occasion. Have some potatoes on occasion (for good carbs) and tons of veggies.

I initially thought the same thing, but after a few days of light research I just had to accept the fact he was a genetic freak of nature.
Yeah genetics must play a key factor. I mean Mark Henry is the world's strongest man, but he is not as "muscly" as Big E

A big part of that is what he's working out for. If you're building as a bodybuilder, you focus on lifts that develop the "muscled" look. If you're building for powerlifting, you focus on lifts that build strength. Those are often core muscles. Bodybuilders typically have small stomachs and trim waists. Powerlifters tend to be thicker through the middle because that's where power is generated.

As for Big E, he's something of a hybrid. That's why he's more "muscly" than Henry, but he still has some thickness through his midsection that probably causes him trouble if he goes into "Mr. Universe"-style bodybuilding competitions.
