All Wrestling News Sites have CM Punk stories under Lock n Key thru VIP purchases

This is total bullshit.

All the sources that WP find credible have all the CM Punk status stories under their VIP protection. I can't read anything for it. What a crock of shit.

I watched the Royal Rumble, and even though he almost won the match, he looked tired, exhausted. He didn't have the it factor anymore, and is a shadow of his former self (being a shell of himself, he stilll ended up performing better than Batista did).

I'm sure he'll be back someday. Two years from now maybe.

Punk's motivation was lost. According to a source I've trusted befofe...

Punk was originally planned to win the Rumble as far back as June last year. All the way up until Batista's return he was told he was still going to win... and even AFTER Dave's return, they told him more than once that he was still their guy, obviously a play to get him to show up to the event. It was only once he'd arrived at the arena that they told him Dave was winning. An infuriated Punk no longer cared and didn't give half an effort in the Rumble.

As far as him coming back in 2 years, don't count on it. It's well known he was planning on retiring soon, while he still had a body to use. But who knows. He strong armed them into a contract favoring him once.

Tbh, I can't quite blame Punk for his frustrations. He's been working his butt off for almost ten years , and has yet to main event at WM (last match of the card I mean). The Rock did it TWICE ((although the WM28 match was to be "Once in a lifetime."), and now Batista's doing it again. This is a slap in the face to the full-time superstars and the fans.

I think Punk should have won and gone to face Bryan for the belt (Bryan could have won it at EC), and maybe turn CM Punk heel.. Would have been an amazing match, and fans would have been saisfied.

I consider him to be a bigger and better star than Dave Batista was, but alas Triple H seems to be living in the past, and pulls deaf ear on crowd demand.

That being said, walking out before WM is abig slap in the face for the fans. If he was physically burned out, he could have told talked about it on the RAW following the RR. I'm not blaming Punk, but ultimately the fans are the ones suffering for this.

To be quite honest, the fans are standing behind Punk on this one. We all understand his frustrations, and I can understand certain fans being pissed about it, but personally, I didn't want to see him face Triple H in a half assed match that he could care less about. We all knew it was only a matter of time before someone stood up to Vince and his cronies behind the scenes, and thank God someone finally has. Word I heard was there was more said than just, "I'm going home" ... there were some harsh words in there, and who can blame Punk? Good for him. He deserved so much more than what they gave him, even DURING his title run.

If Punk ends up coming back before WM, not likely, he'll prove that his actions were warranted.

He clearly deserved better. Even as champ, he kept getting buried in favor of Cena (well, like the entire constantly is, really) and The Rock. Heck, The Miz would go on to main event WM27. Nothing against Miz. I liked him during his late 2010-2011 run, but he wasn't ready for WM yet. CM Punk was former champion who had improved significantly and had was far better suited to main event WM (though he probably would go on to get buried by The Rock that night like The Miz was, but I digress). Certainly not over Punk. Cena vs Punk would have been far better. I just think he should have asked some time to tell the fans about his situation, which he clearly didn't.

I'm still not sure what to think of Austin walking out in 2002. While I certainly agree with him, that things started going downhill for he company (Raw especially, which never recovered following the roster split), and the Stone Cold character really started to get abysmal in terms of creative direction, the man still had three Wrestlemania main event and multiple championship reings in his resume. It's not like he had been second fiddle to the Rock or something. He was the defining superstar of the Attitude Era. Even if he disliked the product, he could at least stuck around to help build new stars like Lesnar. And if not for himself, he should have stuck around for the fans (one of the two nights he walked out happened to be the night following Wrestlemania 18; a show I attended; and remember asking to myself "Where's Austin?"). And if he was physically broke down, he could've asked for his character to be downplayed his character to a general manager or something. Raw really started to suck when he left so abruptly. (Not to mention that after going home, Austin would have a domestic violence tragedy with Debra...). I mean, he stuck around and contributed everything he had when he had a freakin broken neck. What happened to THAT Steve Austin?

Guys, how much better did he really deserve? He went over the top guy in the company multiple times, had the title for longer than anyone in recent memory and a run with The Rock, arguably the dude getting the most exposure on their weekly programming. What else do you think he was going to accomplish when he was on top? Not to mention, he'd never be the face of the company because there's no way he'd work the Cena schedule. He's just not devoted enough nor do I think he really gives a shit about PR (unless its self-promotion), the company he works for (he wouldn't have just walked out) or the fans themselves.

So again, what more did this guy deserve? As far as I'm concerned we should all be shocked a person like that got anything at all.

Well considering he was champion for the entire calendar year of 2012 and a little extra, I'd say he did pretty well for himself. Even though Cena was main eventing, the fans were all talking about about how Punk was stealing the show every night. So yeah he's pretty much being a bitch and has to realize that not everything can go his way all the time.

He deserves the ridicule. The fucker wants to leave? Then go away. Bye.

I'm sure I'll come around when it comes out that it's all a gigantic, elaborate work but until then, fuck CM Punk.
