Are his sales really still that decent? I would've suggested doing a complete sale on all of his merch right before payback then when/(if) he doesn't show up void his contract after that. People aren't going to buy his merch if he doesn't show up for a PPV in his home town after being rumored for returning or what now or at least from an outsider perspective that's how I would see it.

This just further indicates a Payback return for Punk, he's just working us marks.

He said he wanted out pretty young didn't he? If he comes back great if not I'll keep jerking it to his trilogy with Punk and the cunt of personality era.

Dun dun dun....

I honestly think they're doing this deliberately now internet fags will tune in expecting him to show up at the Raw before which means better views for the E.

I wouldn't doubt it considering it'd be pretty weird to 'accidentally' advertise CM Punk for a TV taping when the guy has been absent for over four months... The fact that Payback is in Chicago probably influenced their decision quite a bit since some marks are still holding out hope that Punk will show up (especially with Bryan possibly forfeiting the title and whatnot.)

I actually liked punk, a lot. I am going to miss his work, It was a bitchy way to go out, though, should have at least have one last feud to show appreciation for the fans. Oh well, he probably was screwed up in the head, dude is always acting like he is seriously depressed. Anyway, WWE will live without him, lots of young wrestlers out there, specially in nxt.
