What about the feelings of those involved in the match who were misintroduced? I'm sorry but when you're on LIVE television trying to entice in new fans to your product, and your announcer cannot identify the wrestlers correctly, then what impression does that make on the viewer? She should be dropped for a few weeks whilst she learns how to announce properly - it's embarrassing and painful to watch, especially when Borash is there and can/should do a much better job.

Yeah, what happened to Borash doing the announcing? I can't believe there are so many people noti looking at this as a wrestling business thing. Think about it, he's looking for cheap heat, and what better way than to do what he did to the chick everybody loves? I think this is chopped down to Aries being in character. His tweet certainly helps justify that theory.

I doubt she'd be complaining too much. The over exposure of her is just terrible from TNA.

TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter addressed Austin Aries' lewd behavior towards ring announcer Christy Hemme on last week's episode of Impact Wrestling with a stern statement via Twitter this afternoon.

"TNA has ZERO tolerance for inappropriate behavior," she wrote. "The incident with Austin Aries was taken very seriously and handled immediately."

TMZ.com reports that TNA star Austin Aries has been hit was a "severe" fine as a result of his actions last week on Impact Wrestling.

After TNA announcer Christy Hemme botched her duties and announced Aries & Bobby Roode as Christopher Daniels & Kazarian, Aries got in her face, cornered her in the ring, stood on the ropes and "shoved his man bits" (TMZ's words) into her face. The incident was unscripted and led to at least one journalist contacting Spike TV and asking what actions they would be taking against Aries.

Hemme tweeted afterwards that Aries' conduct was "unacceptable." Aries has since apologized to Hemme privately and a source told TMZ that she was satisfied with his apology.

At least they've handled the situation and it's hopefully put to bed now.

tna could've made this a storyline, Aries does that to christy, several faces & knockouts get in his face & call him a sick perv & challenges him to matches, Aries also becomes more sexist saying women are nothing but eye candy & in the end, Austin gets his comeuppance

It all depends on whether her gripes with Aries are real or not. Two possibilities:

1. Her complaints are kayfabe, in which, good for her. She's acting better than any knockout or diva in any company.

2. Her complaints are real, in which, she didn't read the script for that night, so it's an example of unprofessionalism on her part.

She botched the ring introduction which shows she's clueless and/or can't recognise the entrance music or the appearance of those who are coming down to the ring. Although I think it's a huge work to get people talking, as she didn't screw up anything else.

Was a silly split second decision from Austin Aries that has been made into a much bigger deal that it should have been. Was Aries wrong to stick his junk in her face, most definitely but there was nothing malicious there. He made a decision on the fly after she introduced them wrong and decided to do what he thought an arrogant heel should do. Stupid move on his part but a sincere apology backstage to Hemme should have been enough.
