During an interview promoting Fozzy’s upcoming U.K. tour, Chris Jericho noted that he believes WWE officials are not happy with him pursuing interests outside the sports-entertainment organization.

“I don’t know if it’s bullsh*t, but there is very much that attitude in WWE – sometimes ‘if you’re not with us you’re against us’. It’s been there so long I find it kinda weird. As you and I know, WWE lives in its own world and you can see that for any outside ventures that they do,†Jericho told Daily Star.

“I’m always cool with them and always open to going back, but it’s difficult – I would have liked to have done more, maybe, but they want your time exclusively and the longer I’ve been there, the less time I have,†said Jericho. “Hopefully we’ll work together in the future.â€

He continued, “If we don’t, well, I can walk away knowing I had an amazing run and achieved everything I wanted to achieve in wrestling.â€
I think that wwe should let him do his thing and he can show up to push younger talent when he can.

It's not a waste of time if you enjoy what you're doing, and he obviously does.

I've liked a few of his albums. And he was also pretty good in Albino Farm and on the VH1 stuff he did perhaps WWE should give him some leeway to do these other projects instead of trying to own everything he does.

The last few albums they have produced have been pure garbage. I understand he enjoys it, and all the power to him. But come on man, how can anyone think that shit's good?

Jericho and his band fozzy played at the rodeo where I live two years ago and I really enjoyed it. But if Jericho prefers Fozzy over WWE then thats his decision.

NO! Wrestling first! Shitty music second! That's the rules!

Honestly though, I don't see why he'd need to go back, he's done it all.

Yeah shame on him for not making everyone happy.

I don't think you read what I said correctly, but that's okay, all those Quebecer's have affected you. 8D

I honestly think he should stick to wrestling though. He's much better at it.

But that's just your opinion. Even if he's better at it, shouldn't he do what makes him happy? Not like he needs the money, so I say do whatever he wants. I've never gotten the hate for Jericho doing his music stuff, just seems selfish for his so-called fans to get all pissed when he's doing what he wants to do.

Re: Chris Jericho Addresses Possible Retirement, Says “WWE Lives In Its Own Worldâ€￾ R

It's not about what he's better at. He's happy pursuing other interests, so good for him. It clealry makes him happy and another source of income, so I don't know why anyone would knock him for it. He works for himself being a musician, so surely anyone could see how that's preferable to a WWE wrestler's life. I'm not a fan of his music either, but everyone wants to live a rockstar's life and if you have the goods for it, why not?

What he needs to do is write another book. Seriously the best autobiographys i have read.

As for Fozzy, they have gotten so much better. Sandpaper is actually really good.

WWE only want him back because he's a big game player there... if this was someone like JTG, well, no one, including the WWE, would care.

Jericho could literally be done now, losing to Ziggler which enables Ziggler to be a bigger heel right now. If Jericho does return, I'd like to see him in a big match possibly at Mania to go out on a high.
