Louis Theroux's documentary pretty much turned me away from the idea of even watching it for good. Not to derail the thread, it's dirty not only according to health standards, the entire industry is just devoid of any kind of morality, and there are real lives being destroyed.

This is true. There are A LOT of scumbags, lowlifes, convicted felons, and losers in porn. There's low level mafia people funding some of the companies (not like the Corleones from The Godfather or the high rolling gangsters from Casino, these are low-level guys from Eastern Europe or elsewhere that operate in a mafia context)
