What about the claim makes it not a preferably lynch exactly? Seems like a good rule of thumb is to lynch of play not claims unless it's like a vig or doc role on D1. I've never played a game with a hider I don't believe and a quick google search of doesn't make me seem like it'd be something to avoid lynching if you think the person claiming is scummy

Hider is a pretty strong role I think, it's a good way to confirm people

there are different variations to my knowledge though, i'd be interested to hear which kind of hider he is but at face value on that claim he shouldn't be lynched here even if his play sucks

how would it confirm people exactly bc what I googled basically just said they can't be killed if they're targeted but if they person they hide behind is killed then the hider dies to? I didn't read the variations though lol

Also this kind of fits with Odo's assessment of Banez a few games ago where he said that Banez loved to get "confirmed" and then more or less fuck off. I'm not sure how accurate that is though but it def fits with him motivating Jeff with a daykill in the cowboy game. Could be a case of that here too. Idk I'm feeling less sure of Banez with that claim but I think I kinda just need to take some more experienced people's word for it here since I've never seen the role

It's often policy lynched? Haza and CP both instantly decided against lynching him bc of his claim though

to my knowledge if he hides behind scum he dies so when he doesnt die he can confirm people. This could be the totally wrong variation of the role though, it's the one I put in my first game here

well banez could hide behind inactives and help sort that mess out(and if scum want to shoot an inactive to go for a double kill on banez+inactive be my guest) or hide behind haza so that's settled with too.
