Honestly I don't think the guy would go through the trouble of reporting if he didn't think he saw the gun pointed at him, but it wouldn't be the first time someone thought they saw something that wasn't there. Best case scenario is that Cash was just driving like an asshole and never pointed a gun

Yeah I'd have a hard time believing someone made it up, homeboy was clearly scared enough to call the cops and make a statement that lead to an investigation and a charge. I think it's a weak argument to use lack of video footage as some defence either. I think even by MJFs reaction there is some admission of wrong doing here, so I don't think it's out of line to have an opinion on this.

A neighbor actually recently pointed a gun at me when I went out looking for my cat. It’s a very surreal experience digesting seeing that and the very deliberate choice of words that usually follow it and then having to remember that for a police report.

But even if it's the worst case scenario of everything happening exactly like the report, it being only the one witness, again that's why I'd be shocked if this is anything more than some kind of probation. I mean unless they do somehow end up with some video

let's be honest too, its a 3rd degree felony on a first offender with a 2500$ bail bond. 0% he is going to jail

Oh no I 100% believe the dude thought he saw one and it's probably what happened in his statement. I just think there is a possibility he simply thought it was a gun bc he was already scared and Cash was driving like a maniac already.
