No limit and no rule set to be introduced.

Will only enforce something on a one-to-one basis if someone is starting a new thread every week.
Does that say...."Mod"?
Damn sheriff.... move into a new town and pick up another badge?

Hey Ya'll
I am new around here and I was just wondering what the rules are in terms of how long we have to wait to start a new thread? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask

So, just to start some conversation. How to people go about their booking? How far do they plan in advance?

I use EWR which throws up curveballs but I generally have the main things locked in up to WrestleMania in my BTB. A couple of big things have already changed though.

I like to be kept on my toes.

I try to plan from PPV to PPV with some long term in the mix like main events of big shows but quite frequently I do book on the fly.

Depends on each story and goal of that story. Usually everything's only roughly planned and booked from show to show.

I never liked the idea of planning every single little step of each and every single story for months and months in advance, because in my opinion you can really read it out, if it's done that way and it usually feels less fresh.

I'm not a BTBer but on TEW, I've started booking matches realistically in the pre-booking feature for TV and PPVs as I think they'd be announced IRL (instead of my previous terrible method of trying to remember my plans week to week) lol and that has helped me keep coherent stories flowing so much better.

I don't usually plan too long term outside of like "I want these two to be my title match for my season finale show" but anything a tad long term I put in the notes until pre-booking makes sense. I tend to have most of my entire show pre-booked the day after my previous one for weekly TV and if I'm booking only month to month, I usually plan the show throughout as I'm simming forward and signing people/managing finances. Similar to how GCW books their shows irl I guess?

I don't plan much in advance. Generally go from week to week with a rough idea in my head of what I want, chances are it'll change. I used to plan month to month, sometimes months in advance and found it didn't work for me since I'd just want to skip ahead.

How much is your BTB story driven and how much of it is match/wrestling driven?

For something like WCW or WWE, I could have a looser booking plan. For something like Lucha Underground, I need to be very precise in how I book.
