Yeah thats the one mentioned in the OP I think but he's acknowledged other stuff about staying since so thought that was more talking about how the report mentions his reaction and feelings about the news lol

Hasn't his whole thing supposedly been that he wouldn't keep people under contract who didn't wanna be there? The main things that came from their split was supposedly that Cody wanted to be paid more and they had different visions I think? Maybe it just looks better in a PR sense for them to not to come to terms on a new deal / amicably? part ways as opposed to picking his up his option and then him maybe requesting to be released?
