Had his heel turn been done slightly better I wouldn't mind, but it has been utter shit. At this point though, I suppose I'd rather see him holding the belt than Cena... almost through my computer out the window when HHH tapped last night.

I actually threw my sky remote and broke it when Trips tapped, I was like WTF NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Then Vince come out and i knew Tista was going to take the title. I'm still no happier though. Much rather Sheamus retained TBH.

And i will be even less so if Bret wins it and hands it to Cena @ Mania.

I hope Bret wins the strap for the sole reason that once he relinquishes it, we might get a tournament for it, and it's been like what? 12 years since a WWE title tournament? Would make for a good PPV.

BTW Cena title reign> Triple H title reign. Trips has been bland as fuck for the last two title reigns he had, don't care if he turns heel, he's a boring fucking champ. It's better to see him hungry for the strap, but since he feels it's his god given right to be the one to break Flair's record (which is actually something like 19 instead of 16) we'll probably be getting a dose of stale around June.

Survivor Series 1998? If I am not mistaken. That would be pretty damn awesome, I could see it starting a whole angle where some guys from SmackDown make their way into the tournament to "steal" the WWE title from Raw and start another Smackdown VS Raw type of Angle from the very beginning of the brand split lol

Cena title reign can't be much better. A boring promo with him sucking up to the fans crying "thank you for beliving in me". Same ol shit

But what have HHH's last few title runs consist of? Him claiming to be "The King of Kings"?

Its been a while since Batista held a belt (long time for a guy like Batista). He is a decent heel now so it's in a sense fresh. I would have went to bed pissed with Cena being champ tbh

I wouldn't mind Batista if they're slightly repackage him. Give him a mouth piece and make him just be like a monster destroying people.

That is likely what would happen; I could see it going down something along the lines of this:

Bret says he thinks he has "öne more" in him.
Teases a HBK or Vince match.
Batista comes out interrputs his saying he is going to end his carrer again blah blah.
Cena comes to make a save
Bret challenges Batista
Bret makes Batista tap out to the sharpshooter at Mania flashbulbs going crazy
Immediately after the match he thanks the WWE Universe for one last opportunity and relinquishes the belt to Cena
Cena thanks Bret and tells the fans to give him one last "sendoff"
Awkward male embrace
Bret Hart goes home to Calgary to never be seen again... Or so we think?

I'm not sure how Bret could really be believable in beating Batista, but if they wanted to do a Cena heel turn they could change it to this;

Bret makes Batista tap out to the sharpshooter at Mania flashbulbs going crazy
Immediately after the match he thanks the WWE Universe for one last opportunity and relinquishes the belt to Cena
Cena thanks Bret and tells the fans to give him one last "sendoff"
Cena hits Bret with the title and FUs him.
Bret Hart is carried home to Calgary to never be seen again...While Cena says Hart is old and had his time and that it's now Cena's generation, blah, blah, blah.

What has Cena's last few title reigns consisted of. Its all repetition

Really the only veteran Main Eventer that they could put the title on and seem somewhat fresh is HBK since it's been so long since he's had it. Everyone else besides a Shemus or another young guy would just seem like the S.O.S.

I wish people would stop bringing up the HBK title run thing. Just like Undertaker you know damn well if HBK wanted the title, they'd have given it to him long ago. He has never been a guy who made his career off tallying up title wins.

I honestly think that if HBK seriously wanted to he could have the number of runs with the title that guys like HHH have had but he looks beyond World Titles and moreso on living up to the nicknames The Showstopper and Mr. Wrestlemania. I may not be a HBK fan myself but I have to respect that everything he says he backs up: any match that HBK is involved in, steals the show. Of the last few Wrestlemania's he has been involved in some of the best matches:

Jericho
Benoit/HHH
Cena
Flair
Taker

Despite the idea of Bret being champion probably never coming to fruition, if it did then it should be the first time the Money in the Bank(if they have one at Mania) should cash in the same night they claimed it.

Massive heel heat for whoever would do it.

I'm thinking we may indeed see an immediate cash in this year. MITB qualifying matches are rumored for RAW tonight and with another MITB ppv coming up in June? it seems like having someone walking around with the briefcase all that time would make the PPV a moot point.

Briefcase unification match anyone?

If they were to cash in at Mania, then I'd hope it would be on Cena or Batista. But I can't see that happening because of the angle they pulled at EC which in a way was very similar.

On the other hand, cashing in on Edge/Jericho I'm not that big on. Unless someone...say Christian...cashes in on Edge. But even then, it's not that great of an idea. Not at Mania. Maybe the next Raw.

If Bret was to win the title then how would he lose it? Retire it? Have another match? Hand it to John Cena? Yeah that's it the last one....... FUCK!

Sorry, but it's about damn time that the person cashing it in...doesn't win the fuckin title.
