I wish people would stop bringing up the HBK title run thing. Just like Undertaker you know damn well if HBK wanted the title, they'd have given it to him long ago. He has never been a guy who made his career off tallying up title wins.

I wasn't complaining that Michaels hasn't had a title run or saying he should have had more title runs. I know that if he wanted the belt, they'd give it to him. I was saying that compared to the other Raw Veteran Main Eventers, IMO Michaels is the only one who would seem somewhat fresh as champion. HHH, Cena, Orton, all would seem like the same crap we ussually get on Raw unless HBK or a young guy held the title.

I doubt they'll cash in the MITB Briefcase on the same night, but I guess it depends who wins it. Whoever did cash it in on Bret would get amazing heat right off the bat so it'd be a heel to win it obviously. But one thing WWE tries to push/sell with the MITB is how gruesome it is and how beat the guys are afterwards. Unless Batista attacks Bret after winning the title I don't see how they'd be able to make a believeable match out of it afterward....but then again this is WWE.

On top of that, if the talk is true that Bret is done with WWE after Wrestlemania then I would be really surprised if they ended us run like that.
"Hey Bret, remember how your first run with the WWF/E ended with us screwing you out of the world title and then you left the company? Yeah well we decided to end your second run with us, the exact same way."

But, again, it is Vince and WWE so I shouldn't be surprised.

I would rather have had the same thing happen at EC but leave the Cena/Vince feud for a little longer down the road. Like Batista is just a soldier in McMahon's war on Cena.

I meant in the strictly visual match up, when casual little kid fans see Batista they say "Wow that dude's huge, there's no way Cena can beat him."

I know what we, the IWC, want to see but it's up to the casual fans telling management what they want.

Batista's over in terms of that massive monster who is unbeatable, yet another mountain for Cena to climb? So, that's how it's going to be for a long time.

Yeah, I got what you meant... just fucking with you.
