That is some great footage. Fascinating when things like this happen that something from outer space manages to make it through the atmosphere without completely disintegrating. Good to read that there weren't any deaths but it just shows the power of it that it damaged so many buildings just from the shockwave alone.

That is one of the biggest WTF moments I've ever seen, the GIF in Legion's sig specifically when I saw it on TV. I didn't even know it had happened then.

I thought hundreds if not thousands would have died for sure.

Since I saw these news all I can think about is how I'd react if something like this would happen to me. Just imagine you're driving a car and all of a sudden you see a meteorite falling down. Must be really crazy. It's the type of a thing that goes with you for the rest of your life.

Exactly.

Do you know that feeling you get surging up your spine when you play a frightening video game? (When you have the headphones on.) Take that and multiply it by a 100 and you'd still probably be nowhere near it.

I don't mean to sound callous and I'm definitely not happy at the misfortune of these people, but I'm kind of jealous I wasn't there :side: (To see the meteor in the sky I mean)

We would want see it but what we're not getting is that it wouldn't be as awesome as we think. Sure, we'd see a meteorite falling from the sky but can you imagine being in the centre of the meteorite's landing? That must be some relly tough stuff. One thousand people injured, from that 82 were kids and 2 had to be taken to intensive care.

Take a look here for some more photos.
