Well, I guess that's that then.
It's been mostly clear for awhile that his career was over when WWE's own doctor publicly declared that he should never wrestle again, but for Bryan to actually make it official himself still makes me feel a little gutted. Regardless, he had an excellent career and despite how shitty it is for how everything fell apart right when he reached his zenith in popularity (especially considering how unprecedented it is for a guy his size to become so astronomically popular), such is life sometimes. Shame we'll never get to see that Bryan/Lesnar match, but it was clear when it didn't happen at WM31 that it was never meant to be.
