I have the same opinion Grim has with Mariah (The Ice Queen ) Carey and her putrid Christmas song. She thaws out every year after labor day and tortures us with the blasted song. I wished the original copy would shrivel up and disappear so we never have to listen to it ever again.

I didn't have a choice. They kept playing it in the school I worked in at the time... and in every store I went to... Oh and let's not forget the wrestling video game scene used it as the theme song for every shitty CAW they had because nobody is original...

That's honestly the biggest issue. The so called Top 40 is one of the worst station ideas because the top 40 songs are the songs the station plays the most... which in itself is just an echo chamber of the same material. Radio does the most damage to certain songs tbh.
