That's honestly the biggest issue. The so called Top 40 is one of the worst station ideas because the top 40 songs are the songs the station plays the most... which in itself is just an echo chamber of the same material. Radio does the most damage to certain songs tbh.

That and it used to be MTV when it actually played music videos that call in shit with Carson Daly and whomever took over for his dumb ass that played the same songs everyday.

It really is. The downside of me not listening however is me not knowing songs if it’s not an artist I listen to, or one that doesn’t go viral on tiktok some how. Which leads to me not knowing alot of good songs lol

I have the same opinion Grim has with Mariah (The Ice Queen ) Carey and her putrid Christmas song. She thaws out every year after labor day and tortures us with the blasted song. I wished the original copy would shrivel up and disappear so we never have to listen to it ever again.
