I agree that it should only be used once in a while. Otherwise, it loses it's effect. There was a time some years ago (before the PG era began) were it seemed like people were getting busted open all the time in the main events. Maybe it's just me. But because of it's overuse in the past, I don't miss it at the moment.

Surprised? Certainly not. But I think there is a good chance one of them bleeds. I just can't see these two putting on the typical PG Era HIAC match, ya know? I think they are taking HIAC back to it's roots

It being at Wrestlemania and HHH being involved you're probably right - since he does get special treatment. I might be thinking too deep here but would Undertaker bleeding sort of ruin the "dead man" gimmick? I can see the blood being used to further HHH's ego as making Undertaker look more human.

There was no blood last year bro..

Hence why I mentioned the chair shot also. They broke of the big rules and I couldn't remember if it was blood or the chair shot to the head. I don't want to watch that crapfest again to see.

Nah, it's happened before

I'm not sure which one of them I think will bleed, but I just have a feeling one of them will.

HHH took 1 on the back,
Taker received a DDT on a chair, 6 on the back.

HHH had a little bit of blood on his nose, but that must have been an accident.

They should bring both back IMO. Especially chair shots, it just annoys me how they hit each other in the back and stuff.

Pursuant to WWE's Concussion policy, the stunt of using a folded metal chair shot to the head is prohibited. Triple H and The Undertaker have both been fined for violating this policy at WrestleMania XXVII. WWE penalizes through fine and/or suspension for violation of this policy, which is unchanged and still in effect."

@[R'Albin] Cheers me fella. I agree they should bring them back but is it worth the risk? If a guy doesn't get his hands up then we could be dealing with another Benoit.

Unprotected chair shots to the head are one thing, but I don't see why we can't get the occasional protected head shot.

As someone said, it defeats the purpose of attacking someone with a chair when you just hit them in the back, IMO at least.

Maybe it's unprotected, but from my point of view, it are just hand shots..

Cheers for the answer as well. I never new they actually harmed them. I suppose for the sake of a little detail it isn't worth bringing them back. Although Triple H and Undertaker would have been doing them for years, doing it once isn't going to make a big difference.

It won't do any serious damage if they get their hands up to block the blow abit but when they take direct shots to the head like this :

They can cause serious concussion issues, which is never a good thing. It could be one bad shot which messes them up especially when your bumping flat on your back you can bang the back of your head on the mat or anything. I wouldn't mind experienced guys like Taker and HHH doing them rarely but like I think I can speak for everyone when I say we need to avoid another Benoit incident.

HHH and Taker were "fined". We all know they weren't.

Wouldn't Hunter have technically had to fine himself? He is the EVP of Talent relations on the WWE corporate site so I assume that's his role. #EvenHasToShovelHimself.
