Best Horror film character

I could see it working if we could get 32 on either side, and then run brackets like March Madness, but that could be tough. I'm up for helping with this if everyone wants to participate.

I might need some help if we up to 64 entrants. We could run it like march madness and eliminate a slew of them in 2 days and then keep it going. I am all for it but I agree I like the all villian best.

I say we stick with just villains as well, unless we get a massive response from people who want to do both.

Hannibal Lecter, Buffalo Bill and the Tooth Fairy might be able to get in, despite not really being in horror movies, but I really wouldn't call Patrick Bateman a "horror" character or American Psycho a horror movie.

I'd take Lionel Cosgrove out, he's the hero in Dead Alive and just use David from The Lost Boys rather than the Frog Brothers.

And I'm not entirely sure whether to consider Ginger from Ginger Snaps a villain or not...

Ah, yes. I meant to add those in my list as well and I don't know if I'd agree on the Captain Splauding thing since in House of 1,000 Corpses he's not really a "villian" per se, it's not until Devil's Rejects that he really turns batshit killer and in that one he's working exclusively with the Firefly family.
