Saturday Morning Cartoons have been a thing as far back as like 2007.

They were a staple as far back as the 70's through mainly the early 2000's when they disappeared for thevmost part. It's not like it was back then though.

The only reason it stopped was the advent of 24/7 cartoon channels like Nickelodeon, Disney, and most prominently Cartoon Network (which more or less aired those Saturday Morning Cartoons at several points); there was also Fox Kids and 4Kids
