Btw unpopular opinion. I’ve always hated grunge music and this competition just reaffirms that sentiment lmao. Literally I love Nirvana for some reason but all other grunge bands I don’t like. Just was never my thing.

well it certainly makes his opinion hold a lot less weight, when you say "this genre sucks except for this band" it kind of puts your expertise of said genre into question tickled me

It’s what got me into the genre and I believe what helped the grunge explosion in the early 90s. Grunge was everywhere until the early 2000s or so.

not to mention if you hear pretty much any alt rock song, after 00 up to now, very good chance it has some grundge influence of some kind. its the precursor to alternative pretty much
