For the record I do love Shania Twain but I don’t like country music it’s kind of like when Taylor Swift was pretending to be a country artist I kept waiting for Shania Twain to do the change fully into pop music.

So? Smells Like Teen Spirit is Nirvana's claim to fame. Yes, obviously they have other popular songs but that one is the one everyone knows are arguably why they've lasted so long
Hard disagree with Nirvana. Smells Like Teen Spirit is obviously their most popular song but again, they were fucking everywhere with their music. I mean their biggest moment on MTV was a cover of "The Man Who Sold The World".

This is still the “greatest” country song, though. Fight me.

Most bands in general have like two or three songs everyone knows and the rest is just for fans if I'm being honest lmao

anecdotal : smells like teen spirit was a massive hit at the time, but their other songs have had much longer airplay. I still hear heart shaped box, all apologies and man who sold the world (amongst others) a lot more than SLTS o nthe radio these days. now that obviously doesnt mean much other than thats whats popular still now but thats what i have personally noticed.

what are you even talking about lol
If you tell people to name a song by a certain band, there's a few songs that will always come up which are the band's claim to fame.

Okay but their most popular songs don't always mean their best or most meaningful lmfao.
