I mean, I get the motivation for a town governor wanting to stop the phase, but given that Smark and Haza were top of the charts, it's not a good look.

Adding in to the expected Smark/Odo exchange, I've seen it used from both town and scum, but it's predominantly scummy.

Yes indeed. It was 1/10 effort to start something to maybe get him into playing. Similar tact to what I used with Big Man in Ys origin. The fact that Banez and Haza followed it is where I'm looking tomorrow.

Governors are meant to be twilight roles. We just don't expect them to be around for a lynch so we allow early submissions.

Standard mafia, the party game would have the host ask the governor after the lynch was decided and they'd give a thumbs to reverse it.
