Interesting. I felt that a lot of people hated seeing Cena get all of the good matches. Now it seems they prefer him over Brock to fight taker. As a Cena supporter, I wouldn't mind either.

It's more of Cena's character pushing it. The "Never Give Up!" creed he has going, I don't think he's tapped out in like the past decade. Just two characters going at it and the storyline that goes along with it would be well played out.

Angle has made Cena tap, and he who shall not be named made Cena tap. That's it basically since he reached Main event status.

I understand, and I agree 100% I like Cena and it seems like the proper fit for taker. I wouldn't mind Lesnar either, because that angle could also make sense. I think it will be cool either way.

Shit, I was close. 9 years I guess.

Yeah, they'll both be good matches. I just hope if it is Brock Lesnar, that it's not like last years Wrestlemania. (Slow paced, chair shot after chair shot and boring.)
When you're in a match with Lesnar, it guarantees a NODQ match.

Its a term for smarks who want to care more about ratings and building new stars instead of just turning on WWE programming for entertainment.

I'll be honest I used to fall into the same line of thinking but those guys are where they are for a reason. Brock, Rock, Taker, ect don't have anything to prove and we all want to see them. The result? They only have to show up and play ball a few nights a year. And good for them.

Yeah, it's more than that even. These guys don't even have the most basic understanding of how this business has worked for well over 50 years. It hasn't changed much except for increased production value. Then they all accept their complete misconceptions as gospel, and do not deviate from these hivemind opinions about wrestling which are based on bullshit in the first place.

I'd enjoy Cena/Taker more than Brock/Taker because:

-The heat and drama surrounding the match thinking Cena might actually break the streak. There's no doubt that Lesnar would lose to Taker. Not that I'm complaining, sometimes things are predictable and still awesome, just saying. (I've no problem with Taker/Lesnar happening, for the record, Taker/Cena can always wait to next year.)
-It would have the build of Cena saying he's defeated everyone else and accomplished everything else, and he now feels it is fated for him to defeat the streak as the pinnacle of everything he's ever accomplished. This should make people dread the thought of Cena winning and make them side with Taker more than ever.
-Imagine how much people will be on the edge of their seats more than ever before when you get to the near falls late in the match and Cena starts hitting those AAs on Taker. Some people will probably be on the verge of a heart attack lol.
-Cena is the perfect opponent for Taker to retire on (in the event that he's retiring undefeated, as I expect him to.)

If WWE gave Cena the streak I would be legitimately upset, and I'm not even one of the marks who values the streak above all else, it would just be fucking gay.

Some feel it's the best chance to turn Cena heel. I don't think I'd be in support of Cena beating the streak even in that scenario and I doubt they'll be ready to turn Cena heel by next year anyway.

By having cena beat the streak it would be to show that he is (kayfabe) the GOAT, not to turn him heel.

At this point no one is taking The Streak, especially not Cena. I'm all for either match. Cena or Lesnar, they both sound good to me.

There's nothing to gain in Cena taking The Streak. It wouldn't happen. Working with Undertaker at WrestleMania is almost as high an honor as main eventing. That's what The Streak is at this point. You get to be a part of Deadman's legacy.

Jericho made Cena tap too, didn't he?

As for the topic at hand,I'd love to see Lesnar/Taker.

Aw shit. Pretty cool I guess. I don't have any belief Taker will lose this time around though. I said it when HHH lost the second time that if anyone was to beat the streak, i don't think it could be anyone other than someone on the same level as HHH. And Lesnar just isn't that. Still should be good though, Heyman involved again maybe.
