Game comes out November 15th.

Right now this is easily my favorite game franchise, minus the first game which was somewhat a wreck the whole Enzio arch of games have been amazing, with Brotherhood topping 2 and I'm sure this game will raise the bar again.

Going to be the end of Enzio's story which is fine seeing as how they've covered it well, and should tie everything up here, and lead into the next game with a new character and a new time frame.

So who's picking this up?

My mate is a huge fan of this game and I watch him play.

I dont play video games much, but he's getting this and if it's good enough I might get it as well for Christmas.

If your going to get this you need to play AC 2 and AC Brotherhood first, you'll be lost story wise without it.

There is no way I'm not getting this game for Christmas. I've been a big fan of the franchise too and find myself actually wanting to finish the games 100%, which is something I could care less for doing for any other game.

I'm quite interested for this one as it's apparently gonna follow Ezio, Altair and Desmond's stories. Brotherhood's main focus was through Ezio, but this one will apparently "share the load" I guess you could say.

Either way, it's Assassin's Creed, so I'm definitely getting it.

I actually finished all these games with 100%, which is rare for me, because like you I really don't care for it to much. The only knock I'll give to the series is the present day game play they make you do, not really a fan of playing as Desmond and would be better served just giving cut scenes as opposed to playable portions. Just hope they stay in the past as they continue with the series.

I'm picking it up and am hyped. Ezio's storyline and the gameplay improvements have completely saved this franchise. Assassins Creed 1 was repetitive, boring, and not fun at all. Sadly, Altair is in this game, so we can probably expect more lackluster storyline in that portion. Hopefully not, but that's my big fear. I'm also not a big fan of the setting of the game. The middle east just isn't that interesting. It's Ezio, so it can't be bad, but it's no Italy.

I still expect an amazing game, because the last two were and they've probably poured their heart out into making this a great game since it's the conclusion of Ezio's storyline.

Going to pick this up tommorow and should get a decent amount of the way through. Looking forward to it and hopefully I get a week or so out of the single player.

I really enjoyed the first two, and Brotherhood was also pretty good, but I've lost Ubisoft's respect for whoring this out as an annual release series. The story has obviously suffered from it. Also, if the multiplayer is the only real improvement, I'll definitely pass; Brotherhood's multiplayer disappointed me.

Got this early this morning and played through for about 4-6 hours. Personally it's a great game, as it takes everything that was great about Brotherhood and replicates. Den battles are shit and I hope that doesn't continue with AC3, Hook Blade and bookmaking are nice additions.

I was planning on buying this game right away, from what I have seen it is the best Assassin's Creed game so far. I loved Brotherhood so I will definitely buy this one if it's the best so far, I hear the campaign is amazing. I love all the AC campaigns so I'm not expecting this game's campaign to be any worse than the others.

Playing through the game some more I will say this: they need to revamp the side missions in the next game. Climbing towers and burning towers, ect it's all getting a little old as it's been the same thing for 3 games now. The main story is gameplay is fun, but for the first time I find myself not wanting to mess around with side quests. Hopefully it's something they address in the next game.

Its definitely not the best AC game, ACII still stands as my favorite considering you roamed around a lot more and the story was more engaging. I still love using the Guild, definitely a great addition from the last game and the bomb-making stuff is cool. Constantinople is a beautiful setting as well and its good the setting steered closer to the real origins of the Assassins and away from Italy, as much as I loved Italy.

My only gripes are the den defenses, which are just horrible. I hate having to immediately reduce my notoriety after everytime I do anything, whether it be seizing a Templar den or just renovating a fucking book store. Not even sure how the latter SHOULD raise notoriety. And the AI is unnaturally aware of your position during den raids, which makes you have to systematically kill EVERYONE and not just those blocking your path to a target, and for some reason the AI's are always looking up because they will spot you unless you're two stories up. None of that ever stops me, it just bugs me when I always get spotted and never can seem to kill the den captain first, or without being detected by someone first.

The Den stuff is a mess, it's a cool concept and if they revamp it I'd be all for it being in the next game, but it's just meh in it's current state.

Also someone told me the game was really short, but I'm already 9 hours in and only half way through the main storyline, but that's granted I've been doing a lot of the side stuff, just to mix it up a bit, prob have about 15 hours of gameplay in when it's all done at 100%
