I'm sure if you rushed through the main story without regard to upgrading, renovating all the shops, maximizing the guild, assigning den masters to all dens, synchronizing all the view points, finding 30 animus fragments to get all the Desmond memories, or mastering the new bomb stuff, it could be pretty short, but that would fucking suck.

Never understood why people rush through games like this, that always annoys me.AC's gameplay is incredible, and I tend to be a completionist with games like this.

Ok how the hell do I win a fucking Den Battle, maybe I'm just stupid but I make it to the end and then just get torn up by the big machine on wheels they bring.

You have to have a fuck load of riflemen when the battering ram arrives, or whatever big ass machine they bring. Like, max out every single roof top with as many as will fit, and replace any crossbowmen with riflemen. And keep shooting at the fucking thing with your own gun. The cannon never seems to want to fire when it shows up for some reason. '

Thanks I'll try that out next time I'm stuck doing a den battle, cause the last one I had I got destroyed by the ram in like a minute even with my roofs full, but I had a lot of archers and Air guys so, I'm just going to load the shit up with rifles.

I had about 8 riflemen when the flame throwing battering ram showed up, dropped down half its health before it got through my first barricade. Never even reached my den.

Thinks that's part of my problem to, need to start using barricades more often.

I've been concentrating on the majority of the side stuff and have most of the shops renevated and all the viewpoints done, only to sequence 4 in the main storyline.

The barricades aen't going to save you from the battering ram thing at the end, it just goes through them like butter. But they do a decent job holding off the swarms of soldiers. You want at least two barriers at any given time. And when one starts to lose it's integrity, sell it quickly and replace it in between waves.

I still haven't mastered it. I fucking hate strategy games and this crap was definitely not needed or wanted in AC. Hope this is it's last appearence.

Finally finished up the main storyline so if you didn't don't scroll down.

Thought the ending was well done, wrapped up Altair's story and gave you a idea more of what's going on with Desmond and the end of the world plot. Would of liked to see Enzio get some more explanation to what happens to him after, but it was kind of implied and then explained completely in the Embers short film. Next game I don't know what there going to do, they found what there looking for so there's really no reason for Desmond to go back into the Animus, unless they still need to find more temples. They can really stretch this out though, and there's the options to do games based on subject 16 time.

The last few chapters of gameplay left me wanting more though, wasn't the epic finish like the end of brotherhood. Looking forward to the next game though, just want details on who your going to be playing as and where it's going to be.
