I don't disagree with the latter, I just personally enjoy different ways to get there. specifically on the attitude era obviously, modern wrestling is a lot better in that regard. though RAW still moved at a snails pace until very recently
Oh I don’t even think any modern company needs to be the attitude era again. I think WWE and AEW are finding a good balance today that works. I think once AEW has cemented its monthly PPV model it’ll be easier for them to plan out because you really need a monthly payoff to do justice to the storytelling on tv and build a match model to work properly.
I haven’t watch the full raw from yesterday yet, but from seeing the clips and social media posts, it feels like at least right now wwe is creating masterpiece theater. The bloodline, Cody, Drew, Liv, Becky, Solo and the Usos, all advancing storylines both in the ring and in segments throughout the whole show. It makes me more hype than ever to see them get each other in the ring on PLE.
