Haha thanks! I write these to vent.

Here's another one called "The Valley of the Ignorant"

Some seem so blinded by their own ignorance. They walk head held high, believing they have a purpose without believing in anything at all. Shame be to the man that cries, yet the man that never does; dies young. How is it that in a world so prim, popper and perfect do we act so inadequately imperfect? We all have our own demons, this is true, yet do our demons now have demons? This world seems over run by garbage and not the type you can bag. The filth is spread mainstream in papers, movies and music. Filth seems to spew from the mouths of the youth like an infectious, disgusting disease. Sure, sex sells, yes; but sex also gets a young girl pregnant. Thanks MTV, I got that memo.

Did anyone ever think that this world is in dire need of a savior? Afraid to leave the doors unlocked, the windows opened or to be out at night. We shelter ourselves as the sun sets and never look back. Fear seems to be our night time companion and the fear we have won't keep us warm. We fear death, disease but most of all... Each other. It seems as though we have an ignorance that has plateaued us all. If we are rich or poor, young or old... We all seem to lack real intelligence when it comes to how the mind works. Our eyes see things we may not want to see... Yet most of us choose to not turn away. We soak in all that we see. Our eyes, then, shock our hearts and our hearts can't make any sense of it. So its up to the mind. The same mind that mimics and replicates anything it soaks in just for better understanding. That's only when we're 5 years old. Did it ever dawn on anyone that the children end up the way they do for lack of parenting or day I say, ignorance? There is always room for mistakes and we all make them, but who's counting anyway? One mistake could get someone killed but that never stopped one from owning a gun, now has it? For as much fear as we hold in our back pockets, we sure have a lot of balls in our fronts, to doubt God.

So stand, head up a dark hole, and tell me what you see. It's hard to see anything with the blind leading the blind, now isn't it?

oooh that one was even better. I like how you tell it how it is. You ask the questions which are rhetorical because they need no response because that's how it is.

Here's another! I think I have one more after this.

This one is called "For the Sake of Felling Nothing"

Living life on an endless quest to be different from everyone else is a failed attempt at best. Challenging our own differences, when, in all reality, we are no different from anyone else. We are all hypocritical liars with scars on our fists.

Our restless eyes resent one another, including the reflections we face every day. Broken mirrors can't save us from ourselves. Do you feel safe in your own insanity tonight?

We judge each other, as if we ever had a clue. No one knows what its like to be me, and no one knows what its like to be you. Burning flames within a broken heart, blaming someone else... Yet you let your heart be broken. Blaming others for your own mistakes...What purpose does any of this serve?

Freedom is never free, money doesn't come cheap.. Why are you so easily decieved? We are the down fall of humanity. We stand, spiritually dead, emotionally broken, and scared with kerosine. Broken wings don't fly and we can't escape our fate.

Shame brings you to your knees, because deep down inside, its all your fault. You chose the path you, so foolishly, walk. What will you leave behind once your gone? Something, anything at all? You got what you wanted, so why not just move on?

This world cries for freedom, yet we've all damned ourselves. Fighting a vicious cycle of self-hate and hate for one another. So how is it now, after all this time has run out, do we finally try to see purpose in life without realism? We can't fake this, no, we can't deny this... We are all mad at ourselves.

Was it for the diamonds, or the power of control? Or was it for the sake of feeling nothing, at all?

Found it! lol Here ya go Danny! This one is "I'm My Own, On My Own"

I lose life in the sight of my eyes in this reflection; As if time some how past me buy without my recognition. I am a flee to many, as I am so insignificant. I can't even recognize my own innocence anymore. Chimes ring as people play follow the leader; I only back down and hide in the corner. I am not a simple drone, I choose to turn my back to the blueprint.

I can't relate to many, I can barely relate to few. I, as I am, always was, and may never change my view. All because of you I have regret in many sections; Forming distant blank holes in my own world's imperfection. I don't fit a perfect mold, I never did. Even if I could, I would never go in. Stupidity is the new pass time as past life always alters. How does history rewrite its own identity?... It don't.

My reflection may not always appeal to me, but of this concern, concerns me not. The thoughts of others on my skin should not justify my life within.

I don't drink poison and I don't inhale toxins, I don't relate to your immoral reactions to blanket life because its to hard to accept. I accept it and it may not always be my way, but it is so. I will not walk the way you like, or speak the way they do, I truly am a true blue. I am crazy, but as of lately, I am in my own way to blame for my insanity. You can't justify my feelings unless you felt what I feel, so don't bother with your prescription pad of inadequacy, I have my own.

Take your pissed off hypocrisy and swallow it whole. I will never fit your idiotically point of view. There is a God, there is a Hell. There is evil all around. Use common sense and live for something or die for nothing, because nothing is all we ever had.

That one was about accepting responsibility, right? Because you said you chose the path, so foolishly walk. I liked that line a lot.

This part spoke to me personally. Thank you for this one. That was brilliant. You are a very smart young woman and you can put your words together magically that makes the reader feel what your saying. That is commendable and i appreciate you sharing.

I wrote this one several years ago but I think it's one of my best ones. It will seem a bit emo so I apologize :lol1:

Feeling like I don't fit in
Not knowing where to begin,
Or where to start
When I'm falling apart.
Did I really get that afraid
Of being hurt and betrayed
That I shut myself down
And can't turn myself around?
I don't want to be sad
Or sit around wishing I had,
But how do you reach out
When no one knows what you're about?
