Lockard isn't so "genius" with things not related to WWE.

My main genius is outside of pro wrasslin', actually. Sorry that I'm once again smart enough to realize something that 99.9% of you don't.

I may have put my hand in it for a few moments before and if memory recalls, I don't recall being that painful. I can't imagine quickly dumping a bucket over my head would put me in terrible pain.

Like I said, people have done some pretty weird and even disgusting (and yes, 'painful') stuff for fun before.

lol wow. Maybe most people are just wussies. And how does any of that prove that people won't do something like this for fun (which was my whole original point?) You don't think someone will try something like this just to test their durability?

And why is any of this relevant anyhow? It's not like any of the people being asked to take the challenge are being asked to dump their entire head underneath a water full of ice-cold water for one minute or swim around in it for a hour or something. All you're doing is pouring a large bucket of water on yourself and then within seconds the worse part (when the water is first rushing down on you) is over. You're drenched in cold water but I can't imagine it puts you in terrible pain. And I'm willing to bet that 99.9% of people doing this have never experienced it before either, so even if it ended up being "painful" to them, they wouldn't know it before doing it, which is part of the fun in taking the challenge.

Don't know, don't care. Debating how painful it is or isn't isn't the point anyway. I said a lot of people were taking the challenge for fun and from what I can see, they are. You can tell by how many of them (all?) pump themselves up for it in a giddy matter before the water is dumped on them.

These are some clear examples of someone having fun doing it. I imagine most people who do this would react like this.

Hand != Head. Also, this is a sudden feeling, it happens like a snap of fingers. It's still painful upon original action, you're treating it like it's nothing. That's called undermining it when you can't put yourself in a proper position to cast judgment on it.

You can't cast 100% correct judgment on something without directly either being experienced in said field or having done said challenge that we are referencing.

It clears lactic acid up too by increasing blood flow or something similar, the mental challenge is pretty awesome too even on my basic level (I never stack it with ice just use a bag of ice cubes in a cold run bath.) It feels pretty OK after a few minutes IMO.
I have never tried it, but I wanna some day, guess its reasons like this why this challenge went so big. weeeird...

Yes, exactly - a sudden feeling. And then it's over. A sudden feeling of pain, no matter how intense, is not something I would describe as 'all that painful' on the whole. And I never said it wasn't a little painful or that it was the greatest feeling in the world, just that one of the large motivations for taking the challenge was for fun. You can see kinda see that in how people have fun also challenging others to do it.

What's your area of expertise?

Perceptive/intuition. Being able to see and realize certain things (not everything) on a deeper level than most everyone. If you have such a deep enough level of insight that you can figure out some things that even history's greatest minds couldn't, I believe that is a legitimate claim to genius or very close to it.

Is it incriminatory to try to have fun while doing something for a good cause?

I don't think that was the debate, he said it wasn't painful then it's changed to just a sudden pain or something similar. I lost interest in all honesty.

What great minds have you out thought? Or is this all just a belief you have without any actual substance to it?

You should probably use your timer more wisely if that's the case m8.

Anyway no we're done shouting at Lockard I've just sent a 50 dollar donation over, I'll post the email if anyone would like me to (also sent an ecard to myself like a sad bastard :silva: has anyone else donated yet?

I donated $10 when I posted the video of myself doing it on here, however total I have donated about $30ish.. I would donate more but I have multiple causes I have to spread around funds to, especially with the NIH budget cut.
