AEW better hope that they stay on TNT forever cos if they ever move networks, that name won't make sense

EDIT: Also yes I realise TNT relates to Dynamite, but a lot of people are gonna automatically think of the network lol.

Tournament = Good
Naming the title after the TV Channel which suggests an actual TV title = good.

I really want them to go the WCW TV title route with this: defended every week, with lets say a 10 or 15 minute time limit (draws are SO underrated for building characters) - this should be defended on every Dynamite and main event every episode of Dark. . I remember back when all this was fields and Stunning Steve Austin was the WCW TV champ, that belt got him over huge just by drawing all the time.

Edit: just read the announcement - they're announcing half the participants tonight on Dark and the other half tomorrow on Dynamite and very much bigging up the "TNT" aspect of the title.... interesting stuff and a good way to move us past the lack of Blood and Guts and generate some singles competition in an era of social distancing... I like it a lot.

It'll also be interesting to see whether they pay any attention to the rankings with this. In theory, for a prestigious title all of the top ranked guys should be involved, no?

Here's what the the rankings currently look like on the AEW site (not a big fan of the MMA style "it's not how many you win, but who you beat" philosophy myself... or the way they're listing 2020 results first if they're using total results, but it is what it is)

Regardless of his ability, he looks like he has a memeable gimmick which is very important on the indies so I'm not surprised he got over

Warhorse is pretty dope. Coincidentally he's adjacent to Danhausen. But yeah, the guy is kinda over the top but he can also go in the ring. Pretty fun guy to watch. I think he's still the reigning IWTV Champion even.

I believe the quick googling I did earlier confirms he is the IWTV Champion currently. I also believe quite a few people here do not know what IWTV stands for but they could probably use their context clues to figure it out

TNT shifts AEW schedule to accommodate NBA

We knew it was coming, but here's the official word from a TNT press release:

TNT Programming Alert Week of August 17
Due to the NBA’s schedule, AEW: Dynamite will make the following shifts on TNT:

• The Wednesday, August 19 episode will air on Saturday, August 22 at 6:00pm ET / 3:00pm PT
• The Wednesday, August 26 episode will air Thursday, August 27 at 8:00pm ET/PT
• The Wednesday, September 16 episode will air Thursday, September 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT
