Hmm, as i was looking that up....i noticed this

From WrestlingObserver.com (Dave Meltzer) on August 10, 2007: MVP was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, basically an abnormal accessory pathway in his heart during a physical. It can cause an abnormal heart rhythm and increase the risk for a heart attack. WWE is using this diagnosis to tout its wellness policy. It was during a company routine cardiovascular test in San Jose, the twice a year policy of running on a treadmill and then taking an EKG is done to check the heart valves. They detected an abnormal pattern. He underwent treatment on Monday of this week, which explained his not wrestling over the weekend. More tests will be taken next week to see if it was a success.

That may have something to do with why he was never pushed harder, and the losing streak.

His Streak went from Sept 12 2008 to Jan 16th 2009. (pointless losing streak)

I remember hearing about MVP's condition, it was actually mentioned on Smackdown during his feud with Matt Hardy (feud of the year that year imo). That was most likely the reason he has never gotten any higher than he has.

What the fuck are you talking about Adam??!?!? Sheamus not being on a 'main event level'?!?! He is MAIN EVENTING Pay Per views for fuck's sake. If that's not 'main event level' then what is?

His heart condition is why he was on a losing streak? What alod of piffle...

He had the heart condition whilst he was feuding with Hardy, and JBL even mentioned it once. I am so angered that WWE can't give him one more heel run with a belt.. People claim that last year he was given a chance to grab the tag belts.. With Mark Henry... He hasn't had one good shot since 2008.

^Who says just because he has a condition, he can't compete for a belt, much less only one more time. Im sure he'll pick up many more titles in his career, but I don't see alot more really long title reigns or any reigns over a few weeks with maybe a World Title. Thats IMO though, ofcourse.

They have him main eventing. Thats great. He can't win a main event level match without some sort of interference or getting disqualified to save his life.

Did you ever think that is just the way he has been booked thus far? Regardless of how shitty his booking has been since winning the WWE title in December he has been booked as a main eventer, win/loss records in professional wrestling are fucking useless.

The problem with Shaemus, is he NEEDS that title to be relevent. He hasn't established himself without a title. We already know Del Rio can get over, with a fued with teh likes of Christian or Mysterio. I don't think Shaemus has cemented his legacy or status yet.

I do think Shaemus will continue to be sucessful, however i would expect some ups and downs until he gets the title again. With Chris Jericho out of the way, that helps, but he's going to have to work to be respected/entertaining without the belt.

I really don't think Sheamus will ever amount to anything after the current push he has dies. HHH will return and he will drop into abscurity in the main event scene like Big Show and Punk did. Show and Punk have more talent than Sheamus too so..... Yeah.

I still feel that the jury is out on Sheamus. His first run with the title wasn't all that good, but his program with Triple H was arguably the best thing going on RAW at the time. His second run went a little better than the first because he played the sneaky heel, I honestly dont think that he has the look to play a stereotypical dominant heel that guys like Triple H played in the early 00s. Maybe work him into a Edge/HHH hybrid heel and he could have a future as a top heel.

^He just looks too fucking goofy to be taken seriously as a heel. Everytime he gets beaten on or loses a confrontation he looks like hes about to cry and his skin is white as fuck. On top of that, he has a fucking beaker haircut..

^^^Didn't you say in another thread that peeps shout just state "I don't like wrestler X" and move on?

Mmmm, yeah, thought so..... --->

WWE is known for having guys go on LONG losing streaks...change their mind, and go on a big win streak... Most Recently Jack Swagger....ECW he was unstoppable.....Raw basically a jobber...wins MITB goes to SD and is the champ.

...Aaaaaaand back to jobber status again.
