I never said that either lol, but I disagree any fans hate MJF. Just the run, perhaps.
well then fans should specify that better, I think that's what an educated fan would say, most don't understand that distinction and just say they hate the worker...we have this conversation with others a lot trying to make people realize it's the booking they hate instead lol

Ain't seen no one downplay Jay so imma push back there. Lots of njpw transplants wanted him to be champ d1 so thats just false as well. I do agree the loud voice is swerve atm n there's a big push for him for a lot of reasons including the first black champ accolade
Just sharing my perspective. I know a lot of Jay haters. I'm aware he has his stans as well, absolutely.

A lot of the issues here seems to be us seeing loud minorities that others have not lol

I guess my wording wasn't ideal. I wasn't trying to say Jay doesn't have support from the fanbase at large. I just think Swerve has much more momentum and is a less divisive choice.

But most of the people criticizing this feud online have criticized the MJF parts of it off it for being too goofy. I enjoyed the feud but the PPV angle I think made Jay White look bad plus plot holes upon plot holes (why did Joe not help, why was cole cleared etc.). Like MJF should always win there imo and it should be the devil or Swerve to beat him

I think the distinction becomes harder because you can sometimes like the wrestler and not the run while others do completely turn on them because of the booking.

I’ve just not personally seen anyone saying the MJF run has lost steam that isn’t also talking about his bidding war stuff and saying he’d be big star if he did this or that etc.

I feel like I'm perpetually online tbf lol I've never seen any loud Jay haters ever but mb I didn't loom hard enough. I've def seen the uptick on the mjf run criticism tho. It is what it is I suppose

I personally would have no problem with Jay being champ. It all really comes down to what's gonna produce the best matches and stories really anyways, and there are very few dudes who I'd realistically have a problem with being champ.

Most of the mjf run criticism I seen is ppl rather him be a heel and or the feuds be serious blood feuds. Which is fair even if I disagree vehemently
