Are you still talking about trios rules? It seems simple af to me. 20 count, no rope breaks, opponents decide if DQ or no DQ

20 count, no rope breaks, dqs optional seems simple.

I would get rid of the optional part, though.

You ninja me, but yes. Seems fairly simple.

I like it bc it gives the challengers a stake and they said the choice was "out of fairness"

I will agree they didn't present those rules in the simplest way on air but once I decoded the creepy speak it seems both simple and cool

not entirely, was talking just more in general. I actually didn't watch it but just in this discussion it sounded like the rules weren't concrete or at least some were set and there were more coming or something to that extent.

It’s honestly a stripped down version of the pure rules without the 3 rope breaks upfront.

I think they're pretty concrete, just explained a little weird bc HOB don't speak like normal humans lol we'll see when the first airs, I assume commentary will clarify as well

The only thing I meant by concrete is the dqs optional thing. Otherwise just a longer count and no rope breaks. I doubt they add more rules.

Certainly an interesting development. Like Britt is a top 3 for me in AEW, but when she started you could see she wasn’t fully there yet.
Again, I could explain it, but it wouldn't make sense.

Fair enough.

I briefly liked Dean Ambrose in the Shield, but haven’t liked a single thing he’s done since then.

It isn't quite the same idea on that, but close enough.

Like "lucha rules" are pretty simple, yet unique. But having ten rules that every fan needs to follow just takes people out of just watching and soaking it in, imo.
its literally three rules though. 20 count, no rope break, no dq optional (this one was said a bit weird, unmsure if they meant its all no dq or if opponent can choose a stip, fairly certain its just no qu optional though)

that seems fairly simple to me

fwiw, I loathed Britt when she first came in to AEW. She was overpushed despite not having found this current character and was a happy to be here babyface. She was also not a great worker at the time and had a lot of stinkers. Then she had a transformation after hurting her arm and started doing heel work and the clinic segments and it shot her into stardom for me
