N I don't think hangman losing to Danielson is a swerve at all. It was a 50 50 match. Perhaps things just seem more clear to me when these things happen. I rarely get locked in to things,having to happen one way cuz that's how life is

From a built to standpoint, I think it was. Swerve was already in a story with Hangman. Who got suspended from trying to stop Swerve from winning the title. Swerve won the title while Hangman was suspended. He hasn’t been seen since. Then we get to the Owen. The Elite who both suspended Hangman and politicked against Swerve with the Patriarchy decided to unsuspend Hangman just as a shot at taking Swerve’s title opens up. He comes into the tournament as a surprise. He wins his debut and makes it to the finals. The match itself is obviously 50/50 and Danielson winning isn’t a surprise. It’s just not the story that has already been built going into the show. That’s all.

I get that life is often disappointing. It happens. Which is why I am focusing mostly on the potential positives moving forward.
